One thing you have to acknowledge about the U.S. criminal justice system is that once it decides to go after someone, it can completely and utterly destroy them.

Frank Parlato is attending the U.S. v. Raniere trial today – and has provided a brief summary of this morning’s proceedings.

Rumors continue to circulate today in the EDNY courthouse that Keith Raniere and his defense team will not offer any defense after the prosecution rests its case.

UPDATE: A source that I deem to be extremely reliable tells me that Keith Raniere is not going to put on a case and that the prosecution and the defense will both rest their cases today and that closing arguments will begin on Monday.
