On July 31, 2023, Senior US District Judge Hon. Richard J. Arcara sentenced me to 12 months probation, with five of those 12 months on home detention. My crime was failing to file IRS Form 8300 in 2010 when I collected $19,970 in rent from a food stand vendor in cash.
