Now that the sentencing of Keith Alan Raniere has been imposed, this is an excellent time to review the appropriateness of his sentence.

In a previous post, Part #2: Judge Garaufis on Sentencing Raniere to 120 Years: ‘Abuse Inflicted Unimaginable Trauma and Damage’ on Daniela and Camila, Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis had some unkind words for Hector F [last name redacted].

I mentioned in a prior post that I had the privilege of informing the media outside the Brooklyn Federal Courthouse that Keith Alan Raniere had received a sentence of 120 years.

In the previous post, Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis’ sentencing memorandum was published. In it, he explains how and why he came up with a sentence for Keith Raniere of 120 years.
