The Daily Mail reports that (as usual) New York State has cleared a NXIVM member from any wrongdoing. Dr. Danielle Roberts has been cleared of wrongdoing by the state for her role in branding women on their pubic region without anesthesia.

In recent weeks, attorneys for Keith Raniere have petitioned the court to keep the names of possible co-guarantors for Raniere’s bail sealed from the public.

An Irish mother – who rescued her teenage daughter from the clutches of NXIVM – and, as she believes, almost on the eve of being branded – sent this email today.

We may have to add another criminal defense lawyer to the present cast of 23 lawyers known to be representing the NXIVM team.

Among the items seized by the FBI at Keith Raniere’s “Library” at 8 Hale Drive was a book called “The History of Torture” . If the author’s name has been reported, I don’t recall seeing it. As a matter of fact, there have been several books published with the same title.

The Albany Times Union reported yesterday on the FBI’s work to sift through the discovery in the NXIVM case and noted that the Justice Department has “hired an outside vendor to help the FBI sift through a virtual mountain of data.”

El Universal has published a story in Spanish on NXIVM, Keith Raniere and his partners in Mexico – Emiliano Salinas and Alejandro Betancourt.

NXIVM might learn a thing or two about selling intensives from OneTaste – the ‘fingering cult’ where men pay to finger women in public settings.

Despite the arrests of NXIVM leaders – Keith Raniere in March; Allison Mack in April, and Clare Bronfman , Nancy Salzman , and Lauren Salzman in July * – NXIVM continues to hold classes – in secret.

It is not known if NXIVM member Marc Elliot is still recruiting for NXIVM .
