One of the best and most comprehensive of many ‘curtain raisers’ on the upcoming Nxivm trial was published today in the Albany Times Union. Written by Brendan Lyons, the story is entitled “Raniere Stands Alone”.
Given that Clare Bronfman comes from a family of mobsters, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that she turned out to be one herself.
This might well be the final nail in Keith Raniere’s coffin.
So, here we are…five days away from the start of Keith Raniere’s trial.
She’s Stupid – But Not That Stupid

U.S. District Court Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis, the judge who will oversee Keith Raniere’s upcoming trial, issued a thoroughly detailed Order today that denied several pending motions in the case.
With just a little more than a week to go before the start of the trial in the case of the U.S. v. Raniere, the jury selection process is almost complete.
Earlier this week, Frank Report featured a post about Keith Raniere’s most recent attempt to keep the jury from learning about – and quite possibly seeing – the pornographic photographs of the 15-year-old girl [Jane Doe 2] that were seized from the property at 8 Hale Drive.
New evidence has emerged that the NXIVM criminal enterprise is alive and well – and may be back stronger than ever if its leader, Keith Raniere, is successful in gaining an acquittal at his upcoming trial.
How ironic that the man who sought to have so much control over so many women has been abandoned by all of his female co-defendants?
The “missing” – and now somewhat redacted – Memorandum-of-Law has finally shown up on PACER. It even has a new Document Number: i.e., 580 instead of 575.
