Raniere taught that rape is often the first time some women ever have an orgasm

When Keith Raniere was teaching Jness, he taught that rape was often the first time certain women ever have an orgasm.

Because of different hangups, Raniere taught, when they are raped, women lose all control and can finally have an orgasm.

The act of being forcibly raped and having absolutely no control allows their bodies to finally give in to a natural impulse.

Some women are ashamed about it afterwards, he taught the students of Jness.

Raniere brought it up more than once in Jness, claim sources who heard him. Quite possibly, he did research on the topic and an online search shows this is not an unheard of phenomenon.

The fact that this was something Raniere teaches suggests he may have been setting up women to find rape acceptable.

It is not known if there were discussion groups on the topic.

I’m hoping that Keith will have a chance , while in prison, to do some in-the-field research on the topic. He can use his own first hand experience of being raped as a learning experience.

I imagine the reason Keith was interested in this topic was he probably thought this was validation that rape was not abuse, and therefore he wasn’t a bad guy.

If a woman had an orgasm during rape it’s consensual. Pretty obvious. That’s all Vanguard was saying

That’s a non-sequitur.

Consent has to do with volition or choice. It comes from the mind. An orgasm is an involuntary physical response mechanism with enough stimulation. Eventually orgasm will occur assuming no physical issues. It’s analogous to when a doctor hits your knee in a certain place and it reflexes out of your control. Even if you tried to consciously stop it, when the doctor hits you in the right place again, your knee will react in the same way and there will be nothing that you can do about it. Consent can’t be given for an unconscious act. It can only be given prior to engaging in an act that leads up to it. And since rape is the act that leads up to an involuntary response, and it is by definition involuntary sex, the former cannot auto-magically become voluntary due to it.

Vanguard is pretty stupid.

That’s the stupidest statement I’ve ever heard.

In healthy individuals, the orgasmic response is an involuntary mechanism that eventually happens given enough stimulation. Of course, people have differing tipping points where some last longer than others before reaching climax. Whether someone is raped or not doesn’t impact the eventual response. If you stimulate someone enough and they have no physical problems, they will reach climax. In other words, it isn’t something they can control and therefore it doesn’t imply that they are enjoying the experience. Neither women nor men should be ashamed if they orgasm while being raped since it is a physiological response that can be controlled somewhat but not entirely quelled.

To put it simply, VanDouche is an utter douche if he thinks women enjoy rape.

About the Author

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
