SLAVES IN ‘PARADICE’ – KEITH RANIERE AND THE ZODIAC

Omar Rosales

By Omar W. Rosales, Esq., Author of ‘American Cult’

One of the more troubling aspects of this case is the link between NXIVM and the occult. There seems to be an undercurrent of occult practices in the Secret hierarchy of ESP, Inc., that shows parallels to the Zodiac killer and Aleister Crowley. This is being revealed during the trial.

Keith was a student of esoteric religions. He knew about Tibetan Buddhist meditation rites as well as references to Western mythology. His book was titled ‘Odin and the Sphinx’. Why did he compare himself to Odin? Did he consider himself to be the Allfather?

ZODIAC KILLER

The Zodiac was a serial killer who terrorized the Bay Area in the 1960s and early 70s. Although never caught, the Zodiac was known and became popular for his taunts of the police. Zodiac would mail cyphers with clues to local newspapers and wait for the publicity. And Zodiac loved to be in the spotlight. One of his more famous notes was the Halloween Card of 1970. On October 27, 1970, San Francisco Chronicle writer Paul Avery received a card from the Zodiac. The card was a Halloween greeting and contained the phrase, “By fire, by gun, by rope, by knife…SLAVES FOR PARADICE”.

Paradise was intentionally misspelled as Zodiac loved puns. In the card, the Zodiac hand drew several symbols to show it was he and included his body count up to that time – 14 victims. He also said, “Peek a boo you are doomed.” Whomever the Zodiac was, he knew about mythology and literature. Zodiac read Milton, knew about theatre, and he could make cyphers. But, he also believed he and his victims were linked due to his victims’ painful deaths. That the psychic trauma created a bond, where the victims’ souls were forever linked to the Zodiac from the violent deaths – by fire, by gun, by rope, by knife. So why is Keith making slaves of women and telling them to, “Feel the Pain, Think of your Master”?

Other ancient civilizations buried slaves with their Kings and Queens. This was a common practice among ancient Egyptians, Vikings, Maya, and Aztecs. The belief was that the war captives or slaves would serve the King in the afterlife. To solidify the bond, the captives were killed at the funerals of the venerated rulers and then placed in the graves alongside their masters.

The Zodiac was also assembling Female Slaves for his afterlife. He believed that the souls of his victims would travel with him and serve him after he died. Was Keith doing the same thing? Did Keith become more and more aware of his mortality and seek to create a Slave Army to serve him beyond life?

Now Keith had read the Tibetan Buddhist and Indian Buddhist texts on meditation and reincarnation. Did Keith find something? More importantly, did he believe it too? Was he that insane, that like the Zodiac, Keith felt he could create an army of Female Sex Slaves that would serve him in the great hereafter?

Serial killers like the Zodiac also keep mementos known as ‘trophies’ of their kills. The serial killers will use the trophies as a memory anchor, to relive the memory of the kill. By holding the piece of clothing, touching the hairbrush, smelling the personal effects of the victim, the killer will be transported back to that moment of the kill.

But the problem is, it seems, no kill will ever beat the excitement that the serial killer received from the first time they killed another human. So, the killer will continue with their spree until they are caught or killed.

In one of Keith’s computers, he kept a backup file of all the pictures of women that he posed for his ‘studies.’ The pictures were of women on Keith’s bed, with closeups of their vaginas.

What if it wasn’t a study, but more of a trophy? An assemblage of all his victims. And this is where Keith’s psychopathic tendencies start to take over. He had to keep trophies. He could not help himself. That is how he gains pleasure – by tormenting women and later on reliving the torment.

Keith was happy to see Sylvie cry and squirm when he ordered her to spread her legs and be photographed. The photographs were not sexual. Keith did not masturbate to the photographs. Keith obtained pleasure from the torment. It was the feelings of shame, guilt, and sadness from the victims that gave him his excitement. It was not the women’s genitals, it was their suffering, pain, and anguish that made Keith aroused. That is why Keith made Sylvie come back. That is what excited Keith the most. Inflicting the pain on Sylvie. Because Keith knew Sylvie would feel even more ashamed the second time.

I will talk about Keith’s similarities to Crowley another time, when more testimony comes out. But make no mistake, Keith Raniere is a monster 100%.

  • As usual, Omar is inventing bizarre and baseless conspiracy theories. Keith is certainly a misogynistic, perverted POS, but he has no link to the zodiac killer, at all. And I see no evidence that shows the NXIVM was ever involved in the occult, either.

Why don’t you go invent some more believable right-wing conspiracies Omar-…..btw, how’s that lawsuit against Sara Bronfman working out for you-

    • Flowers- Is that really you- I thought you’d be the first one to love a conspiracy theory… My thoughts – I’m thinking Omar is really Frank with a good shave- Or, Omar is Sultan- And you’re right, Keith can’t be the zodiac killer because we all know Scott is.

  • I 1/2 agree with Rosales. Interesting article and view point. Thank for sharing Rosales.

I would say it’s 50/50. If sex was not part it Raniere could have just created a group made up of just men like the Society of Protectors or more of a coupes based group.

  • An interesting link between Aleister Crowley and L. Ron Hubbard is the bizarre scientist Jack Parsons who lived in Pasadena California.
Parsons was a self-taught scientific genius who helped found the Jet Propulsion Lab at Cal Tech.
Parsons also founded the OTO Lodge in Pasadena. Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO)

    L. Ron Hubbard moved into Parsons’ Pasadena mansion and promptly stole Parsons’ girl friend and cheated the scientist on the sale of a yacht.
NXIVM is a chip off of the Scientology block.

    Occult involvement in Pasadena
    California.[91]

In August 1945 Hubbard moved into the Pasadena mansion of John “Jack” Whiteside Parsons. A leading rocket propulsion researcher at the California Institute of Technology and a founder of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Parsons led a double life as an avid occultist and Thelemite, follower of the English ceremonial magician Aleister Crowley and leader of a lodge of Crowley’s magical order, Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO).[17][92] He let rooms in the house only to tenants who he specified should be “atheists and those of a Bohemian disposition”.[93]

Hubbard, whom Parsons referred to in writing as “Frater H”,[96] became an enthusiastic collaborator in the Pasadena OTO. The two men collaborated on the “Babalon Working”, a sex magic ritual intended to summon an incarnation of Babalon, the supreme Thelemite Goddess. It was undertaken over several nights in February and March 1946 in order to summon an “elemental” who would participate in further sex magic.

Parsons used his “magical wand” to whip up a vortex of energy so the elemental would be summoned. Translated into plain English, Parsons jerked off in the name of spiritual advancement whilst Hubbard (referred to as “The Scribe” in the diary of the event) scanned the astral plane for signs and visions.[98]

Last night I looked through some of Pea Onyu’s old comments and found a reference to Raniere’s “magic wand”.
    ————————————————————————————————————————
There has long been a strange relationship between Aleister Crowley and Hollywood.

“Crowley gained widespread notoriety during his lifetime, being a recreational drug experimenter, bisexual and an individualist social critic. He was denounced in the popular press as “the wickedest man in the world” and a Satanist. Crowley has remained a highly influential figure over Western esotericism and the counterculture”

During World War I Crowley lived in America and visited many cities that later became associated with NXIVM.

Crowley’s OTO was headquartered in Vancouver and he visited Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles, all areas of later NXIVM activity.
Crowley also lived on an island in the Hudson River between Albany and New York City.

In 1918, Crowley went on a magical retreat in the wilderness of Esopus Island on the Hudson River. Here, he began a translation of the Tao Te Ching, painted Thelemic slogans on the riverside cliffs, and – he later claimed – experienced past life memories of being Ge Xuan, Pope Alexander VI, Alessandro Cagliostro, and Eliphas Levi.[135] Back in New York City, he moved to Greenwich Village, where he took Leah Hirsig as his lover and next Scarlet Woman

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleister_Crowley#United_States:_1914–1919

When the Hollywood movie director William Desmond Taylor was murdered in 1922 Crowley’s book of erotic poetry “White Stains” was found in Taylor’s bungalow.

The two best books on Jack Parsons and L. Ron Hubbard are “Strange Angel” and “Sex and Rockets”.

    • That’s some interesting, weird, crazy, and disturbing information. Boat load of connections. I heard something about this on some tv show years ago.

  • Problem with linking Raniere, serial killers, and the occult is Raniere is not a serial killer nor does he have any connection with the occult as far as I can see. Buddhism is not an occult religion. Additionally, there is no connection between serial killers and the occult.

There is a mistaken belief among certain religious groups that bands of satan worshipers lie in wait for their chance to snatch babies and conduct human sacrifices. These are the people who wanted to ban Harry Potter books from school libraries and who once burned hard rock albums in bonfires. During the Satanic Panic, teenagers with long hair, who listened to heavy metal music, found themselves wrongly convicted of crimes they had nothing to do with.

Yes, some people are interested in the occult. Some people are interested in neopaganism and Wicca. There exists a real Church of Satan, and a Satanic Temple (google them, they’re not what you might think). None of these things are about criminality or evil; I think they’re all kind of silly, but no sillier than Christianity or any other religion. And certainly no more evil. If you’re suggesting that there’s something creepy about “esoteric” religions, let’s have a look at Christianity’s universal symbol, the cross– it’s a device that was used for torture-executions. Pretty creepy, if you think about it.

I’d call NXIVM a cult, but it was somewhat unusual in that there was no real religious component. Raniere’s teachings seem to be a dog’s breakfast of self-realization platitudes, Ayn Rand triumph of the will foolishness, and Tantric nonsense about men’s seed and women being vessels. No promises about heaven, just about getting ahead in the here and now (and for Raniere, getting head in the here and now.)

I wouldn’t even describe Keith as a monster. More like a nasty little man who took advantage of people for his own profit, then fell flat on his face.

  • This is getting confusing, first everything that was done to the women was with consent, said in defense and now they were tortured comes up- Which is it-

  • Omar

Have you interviewed Keith about his sexual habits and violent fantasies-
If you have not, what allows you to come to these conclusions-

  • Of course he did.

Don’t you remember the article that described a story about him as a child wherein which he held something over the head of a girl and relished in the idea that he knew he could get her in trouble with it-

It’s the same principle he applied to his cult. None of it was about helping others except as a “tool” to facilitate his own (primarily hedonistic) self-satisfaction. The ethics was all a means to an end: control, power, sex, and ego masturbation. That is all.

  • I cringe when I think I was in the presence of one so evil to the core, a murderer of soul and body. I hope the jury returns a guilty verdict on all charges and the judge gives him the maximum sentence. May this scum never see the light of day.

I sincerely believe we are all born to a clean slate. What triggers this level of evil- I wonder!

  • It’s a good point that Raniere may have derived more sadistic pleasure from getting women to submit explicit photographs, than sexual gratification – though given his apparent fetish for particular types of women, especially young ones, and photos of them in certain specific poses that may hearken back to the “beaver shot” porn mags of his youth, I don’t think a sexual element can be ruled out.

    L. Ron Hubbard’s studies in the occult, particularly in one of Aleister Crowley’s OTO lodges, definitely influenced Dianetics and Scientology, and some new religious movement (NRM) scholars even place the Church of Scientology as one of two offshoots of Crowley’s Thelema – alongside the Church of Satan of Anton LaVey. Raniere definitely borrowed quite a bit from Scientology, along with NLP, and thus picked up some concepts and practices, but as far as I am aware or can tell, his only sources and influences in the occult were third-hand like that.

High control groups or cults tend to operate in many of the same ways – hence the lists of common characteristics – so similarities are not necessarily really indicative of actual connections.

  • The best book on the Zodiac Killer is by Robert Graysmith.

    https://www.amazon.com/Zodiac-Shocking-Nations-Elusive-Serial/dp/0425212181

Some people believe that Zodiac based his killings by their relationship to Mount Diablo, the Devil’s Mountain, located in the East San Francisco Bay region near the Federal Penitentiary in Dublin California where Allison Mack will probably end up.

  • “Was he that insane, that like the Zodiac, Keith felt he could create an army of Female Sex Slaves that would serve him in the great hereafter-” INSANE– Nope, just plain old evil, nothing more, nothing less. Prideful, greedy, wicked and sadistic.
