Kristin Kreuk is an interesting case.

She was the first of the Smallvillians to join the Nxivm cult, the Patient Zero, who carried the virus to the set. (It proved minimally transmissible.)

Kruek recruited Allison Mack, so according to Kevin’s bizarre scheme of things, Kreuk is more guilty than her, even though Kreuk had nothing to do with DOS and the branding and blackmail or anything else criminal.

Kreuk denounced Nxivm and Raniere when the merde hit the fan, and the indictments were coming down. She tried to minimize her involvement, which was considerable. I have trouble believing she didn’t know at least some of what was happening, and surely she knew about Keith Raniere’s character and proclivities.

There are legitimate questions to be asked regarding what exactly the fuck she thought she was doing by recruiting teen girls into the organization with outreach efforts like Girls By Design.

Kristin Kreuk started a group called Girls By Design {GBD] which sought to recruit teen girls into a sexy fun club and gather information about them. The group was at its heyday during the time Kreuk was being widely used by Nxivm to recruit members. Raniere’s misogynistic, unethical and frankly predatory teachings were no secret. They were part of the Nxivm curriculum. So what the hell was Kreuk thinking?

After her statement renouncing Nxivm, she went silent on the subject. That in itself is a bit odd.

Kreuk has been a guest on both of Michael Rosenbaum’s podcasts. Former cast mates he has had as guests on his podcast talked about the cult.

Tom Welling and Rosenbaum have laughed about it on several occasions. Both Laura Vandervoort (Supergirl) and Erica Durance (Lois) have discussed Mack’s attempts to recruit them.

Vandervoort was especially pissed about it.

None of them talk about Kreuk trying to recruit anyone on set, which seems curious since she recruited Mack. It seems like the topic is off limits.

Some of this code of silence may have to do with Rosenbaum and Kreuk having dated each other. Plainly, Nxivm is a sore subject with Kreuk, which is hard to understand if she had as little involvement as she claims.

Callum Blue has been critical of NXIVM.

Callum Blue (Zod), who took a few courses and quit, has talked about it. It’s not a sore subject with him. Then again, he wasn’t recruiting people, recruiting kids, teaching “tech,” or trying to advance up the idiot stripe path like Kreuk was. She was a true believer.

Opposing View

Some say Kristin Kreuk has been lying down on the job of describing her role in NXIVM. 

But an online self-appointed Kreuk apologist, Sultan of Six, claims Kreuk knew nothing evil about NXIVM. Some say she knew nothing about Sultan either.

Sultan wrote, “Kristin’s looks, her eyes, and her booty are attractive to me. But so is her intelligence, career ability and the financial independence she has created from it, and character.”

    Kreuk's reluctance to speak out about her time in NXIVM may be understandable given how tainted it has become, a little like not mentioning the war to a German in the 1950s.

    Unlike the Deadender faction, at least it might indicate that she is still possessed of a little sanity. Grace Park has since taken a similar tack, and rumour has it that her bulked up boyfriend is very supportive of her position, so people tend not to bring it up at dinner parties.

    The GBD stuff is even worse, and perhaps even more of a reason to keep mum – I seem to remember that GBD was aimed at very young teens, or even preteens, which makes that association even more damning.

      I would keep mum too after vehemently denying anything nefarious about GbD with or without an association to NXIVM, which from my understanding, is what its founders did. People are going to believe what they want despite evidence or its lack thereof. Just look at Nicki Clyne and the remaining deadenders who still staunchly support Raniere. Personally, I don't think Kreuk or its other founder had anything but the best of intentions for teen girls through the company. It was founded in 2007, well before any sexual offender revelations about Raniere became strongly supported public information in 2012, and Kreuk soon left NXIVM after that in 2013. Considering what we now know about him, Raniere likely had devious intentions for it, and his ability to compartmentalize through his minions could have actionized them, but I don't think Kreuk or its other founder did. Thankfully for her and any potential victims, it never got to the point where he could.

    Who is this Sultan guy? I don’t get what his deal is with Kreuk. I’m starting to believe he is a stalker.

    I’m a longtime fan of Kristen. She is a wonderful, beautiful, and inspiring woman.

    I’ll be reporting this Sultan nut to Kristen’s people ie publicist and agent.

    Those salacious pictures of Kristin are fake, she did one “revealing” shoot early on in Smallville's run and neither of those pictures are from that pictorial. Kreuk and Rosenbaum never dated, he dated Laura Vandervoort for a short time after the show ended.

    Kreuk was named in a 2012 anti-NXIVM lawsuit and was in those Necker Island articles that according to it's author, financial crime was discussed on the island. Of course she knew about stuff. Anyone not in the cult who read about the cult knew stuff.

    Of course she tried to recruit them. That is like leaving Sultan alone in a room with a jar of Vaseline and a picture of Kristin Kreuk and expect him to keep his hand above his waist. He's going to get to work. She was equal in rank to Allison Mack (yellow sash 2 stripes) in 2011. Of course she would of brought it up. But these actors don't discuss her NXIVM dealings in public because they probably get on. Did she really tell them she left in 2013 because of the pedophile stuff and they believe her? Or perhaps they understand her silence and her denials and lies because they too are privileged celebrities who love that easy money.
