Kristin Kreuk is a Canadian taxpayer-funded actress, who served as a Nxivm coach and whose membership in Nxivm was used to recruit women. She plays a brave and outspoken lawyer who risks her career to fight a powerful group and a pedophile.

Kristin Kreuk Was Member of Nxivm in 2015-2016

I interviewed two former Nxivm proctors recently who said that Kristin Kreuk stopped actively working as a coach for Nxivm in 2013. This is in addition to three other Nxivm insiders I spoke with previously who said the same thing.

However, the proctors added new information about the secretive Kreuk.

They said that while she stopped coaching in 2013, even sending a letter notifying Nancy Salzman that she was unable to volunteer time to coach because of career commitments, Kreuk did not leave Nxivm altogether until late 2015 or early 2016.

She became inactive as a coach in 2013 due to acting obligations and her breakup with another Nxivm leader, actor Mark Hildreth, the proctors said.  But, they insist that Kreuk remained a member of Nxivm until years later.

When Kreuk told fellow Nxivm colleagues she was going to be inactive [as a coach] she did not have anything critical to say about Nxivm. Despite this, Salzman reportedly believed Kreuk was opting out of her public role in Nxivm because of bad press Nxivm leader Keith Alan Raniere was getting.

[He had been revealed as a pedophile in a Feb. 2012 Albany Times Union expose Kruek was mentioned in an article in the series. She was also named as a likely defendant in a lawsuit against NXIVM.  She was also named in John Tighe’s articles of the Necker Island summit that discussed NXIVM crimes and who was responsible.]

However, Kreuk reportedly derived benefits from Nxivm [including exploration of meaning or EM therapy and support] until late 2015, and possibly into 2016, according to the two Nxivm proctors I spoke with.  This might account for Kreuk encouraging Mark Busse and possibly others to take Nxivm intensives in May 2015.

This also supports a contention that Kreuk got out of Nxivm by slow degrees. Almost like the opposite of the slow boiling frog. The water slowly cooled and she hopped out quietly.

Timeline

Kreuk appears to have left coaching Nxivm intensives in 2013, in a quasi-private manner.

In or around 2016, she actually left.

In 2018, after Raniere’s arrest, she made her first public statement that she was out and downplayed her role as a coach and the duration of her membership in Nxivm.

Kristin Kreuk statement about NXIVM

Hard to Say Why Kreuk Got Out Slowly

She may have been genuinely convinced she got some good out of Nxivm and its teachers.

She might have tried to slip away because she was worried about her career and the damage that might be done if it were known she was in Nxivm after the pedophile revelations in 2012.

She may have also been afraid of Raniere. He might have had something on her that could have been used against her. I am not suggesting collateral [[blackmail worthy material deliberately gathered by Raniere or his slaves] per se.

Raniere was good at gathering information about people. In one of her exploration of meaning therapy sessions she might have revealed damaging information about herself to Nancy Salzman who would have certainly shared this information with Raniere.

Kreuk might have feared he might damage her in some way, putting her in a ‘damned if I leave and damned if I stay’ scenario that required her to delicately escape.

I was told that her boyfriend Hildreth tried to get Kreuk to invest her life savings in Raniere-guided schemes but that fortunately Kreuk’s father stood in the way and prevented it.

If she had invested with Raniere, based on his previous track record, Kreuk would have likely wound up broke.

It is possible Kreuk was conflicted. There seemed to be good in Nxivm, She admitted it helped her overcome shyness. There were good people in Nxivm. They became her friends, her coaches and trainers, and she coached others and helped train students in the Nxivm tech.

Kreuk was a Coach of Coaches

Kreuk was also a high ranking member of Nxivm, who rose to the level of Yellow Sash with Two Stripes, which made her qualified to teach and train students and even coach beginner coaches.

An awakening of Nxivm’s dark side may have been a slow one for her.

It may not have happened until that fateful day when Raniere was arrested, on March 26, 2018. Three days later she made her first public statement on Twitter.

People like Barbara Bouchey and others say there was a lot of good in the teachings of Nxivm.  Keith Raniere, they concluded, may have been rotten at the core, but the teachings he created [or, as some stay stole] had genuinely positive benefits to them.

if you parse Kruek’s carefully-worded 2018 Twitter statement, she is clearly trying to preserve her career and not be tainted by the scandal of Nxivm. She felt she had to say something lest the media assume, based on previous publicity about her membership, she was still in Nxivm.

Who can blame her for trying to save her hard won acting career, especially if she joined Nxivm with good intentions?

Her coaching and recruiting of students was certainly not with the purpose of tricking them into joining a cult. She likely believed in the value of Nxivm to help people with their life problems.

She sought to help others.

She Appears to Realize She Was Wrong About Nxivm

Kreuk is no doubt a very good actress. She convincingly plays a brave woman who fights a pedophile and big corporations risking her whole career – on her Canadian TV show Burden of Truth.

She has no burden to fight Nxivm.

One things is certain, Kreuk got out of Nxivm safely and managed to preserve her money and career.

She may not be brave but neither did she self-destruct like some of the others, including her Smallville costar Allison Mack.

She looked out for herself and saved herself.

Is she wrong to do so?

Most others, imbued with self preservation tendencies [often destroyed by Nxivm] would have done the same thing.

We tend to judge Kreuk more harshly because she virtue signals a lot about brave women and plays a brave woman on TV. But she is an actress. Not a heroine in real life.

She quietly removed herself before the explosion of DOS and related scandals. Give her credit for brains even if she does not have courage to stand up to fight Nxivm.

Heroes we have already: Mark Vicente, Sarah Edmondson, Anthony Ames, Kristin Keeffe, Barbara Bouchey, Toni Zarattini, Joe O’Hara, Susan Dones, the Nxivm 9, Bonnie Piesse, Catherine Oxenberg, Rick Ross, Jim Odato, John Tighe and others.  They were the heroes who fought Nxivm and put their names on the line.

Kreuk is not a hero. But she dodged the damage that others received.

She might have helped fight the beast when the battle was ongoing. But that was not in her best interest.  It angered some when she virtue signaled against Harvey Wienstein.

It is true that Kreuk was used to recruit people into Nxivm and that she was a major part of Nxivm and its growth. And she was one of the few who got out unscathed. Her career continues to grow and she is unfazed at the enormous difference between the character she plays on TV and the real life. person

She may not be brave but she is smart.

Give her credit for that.

MK10ART’s fascinating painting of Nancy Salzman and her influence on Kristin Kreuk.

  • I think it’s worth emphasizing that people in high control groups or cults often feel the need to distance themselves gradually and quietly for a variety of reasons. Besides this particular case, it involves phenomena we’re likely see see among others who left in the past, and those who are only finally distancing themselves.

In terms of external factors that can influence or even intimidate people, there’s the example of Scientology – even using the word “suppressive” that Raniere plagiarized. While Scientology is more extreme in meting out repercussions to almost anyone who leaves, this still exemplifies how disaffected members of such a group may feel pressure to keep up appearances even if they no longer want to participate, exemplified by the term “under the radar” or UTR:

“Scientologists: How to Stay “Under the Radar”

When a Scientologist realizes that the Church of Scientology is no longer something they want to be involved with, they will be confronted with a significant problem: How to distance themselves without being declared a “Suppressive Person”.

If the church detects that the Scientologist is no longer a happy, active, compliant member of the Church of Scientology, the church will usually declare the Scientologist a “Suppressive Person”. This means that all other Scientologists must “disconnect” from that Scientologist. Family, friends, employers, clients — they will all be forced to disconnect. This is unacceptable.

It is much, much easier for such a Scientologist to just “fly under the radar”. That is, pretend to still be a happy, compliant Scientologist but avoid, as much as possible, having to spend much time or money in the church.”

  • Nothing new…Kristin left when she said she did. What ever loose ends that were left are a non issue and not important to the case that will be concluded in less than 2 months. This case will be forgotten once sentences are made. Bigger cases are coming up like the Ebstein case, in which big political names are involved, and with the election coming up,this whole Nxivm issue will become just a afterthought in the news. All sides agree, Kristin will continue in her successful career . Life goes on. Frankly (no pun intended), I am amazed how little you see this case in the news.

  • John tighe’s article on Necker island also pointed that some of those that you name as heroes were there…
Actually , Allison and Kristin are not there at that moment and they choose them as “recruiter for Vancouver center” Under Vicente and Edmondson…

“She may not be brave but neither did she self-destruct like some of the others, including her Smallville costar Allison Mack.”
Way to rewrite the story…Allison was not self destructive…She was dragged too much to understand what was happening and Vicente CLEARLY said that it’s RANIERE who tried to destroy her.
She was under coercion so hardly a free will decision…how is this self destructive?

“Heroes we have already: Mark Vicente, Sarah Edmondson, Anthony Ames, Kristin Keeffe, Barbara Bouchey, Toni Zarattini, Joe O’Hara, Susan Dones, the Nxivm 9, Bonnie Piesse, Catherine Oxenberg, Rick Ross, Jim Odato, John Tighe and others. They were the heroes who fought Nxivm and put their names on the line.”
While some deserve this “title”, excuse me but Vicente, Edmondson, hardly fit for the title…
Vicente and Edmondson profited from the victims and while Vicente did try to do the right thing (which make him OK BUT not a hero…) ,Edmondson did Nothing but save her own ass…that is not what a hero does.

BTW If Vicente was a hero, he would have done Something BEFORE things got bad (and that is back in Necker island already)…
Even when in court he said “I was worried for Allison…” or ” Raniere told me he was Breaking her” , Why didn’t he act?
He even goes with a “I was worried about India” and yet…Nothing until Dos was created.

    Sorry, no hero here.

In reality, What edmondson did is no better than what Kreuk did (by your book)…They both saved their ass.
.Is it wrong? no! But certainly not a demonstration of bravery or heroism.

And before people go with “but she did the interview that launched everything”, she did it for herself, not to save anyone…And i doubt that the interview had a huge impact…what did impact thou, is the witness testimony that decided to contact the authorities.

  • Surely Kristin is in her cushy home with a great job, money and sanity intact and worried about the lies being spread about her by a anonymous blog 12 people read and losing attention with trial over and interest gone- NOT. The same idiots who said she would be arrested HA HA HA. She knows the truth and remains unbothered that is why she gave her statement and left it and refused to comment further, she could have made herself a victim by talking about the gas lighting and lies she went through, in the big scheme of DOS she went through little but she did experience the hand of manipulation to an extent.

Racist tweets about her hair color, keep going Frank.

The misogyny that she is a coward based on false set of theory created on top of lies is almost as amazeballs as Pimp Mack creating DOS and talking about branding like she was going to get henna…. when you have no idea the struggle she went through to get out of a situation with extreme manipulation and lies headed by loser Hildreth. Vicente, Edmondson and everyone in Vancouver group knew Kristin was MIA and done done with anything Nxivm and if she had lied people would have come forward. Actual people with names not fabrications. Title: Member Content: She left, didn’t take part and was a defunct member past 2012. Conclusion: Not a member

Soooooooooo many contradictions added up to weave the narrative she was a member past 2012 with content saying she was not involved past ’12. Yiiiiiiiiikes. Wow.😷 Alternative facts

  • First, we want Frank to stop giving Barbara Bouchey attention.
It’s very apparent Barb is attempting to position herself as the head of a resurrected NXIVM who she claims has good in it.
Folks, you would do better to seek out a therapist before you look to this cult for help. You will wind up broke and used if you listen to Barb’s lies about NXIVM good.

Second, until Kristen makes an honest statement about her full involvement, etc NXIVM stench will follow her to her grave.
She should kiss her fathet’s feet for saving her from being impoverished by NXIVM.
By the way, Kristen is barely a grade B actress. More like a C. All she is is a pretty face, nothing more and that is rapidly aging.

    • First, speak for yourself. I’m not a part of your “we.”

Second, this isn’t your website and someone who doesn’t use their own name or name the cult they were in has the least right to have influence regarding this site’s content.

I think it would be great for BB to be the new “leader” of NXIVM, we have lots more dirt on her than some unknown.

Do you REALLY think a sane person reading this website is going to join NXIVM?

    • Proof! She was there to recruit or encourage the other 8 million people in NY City. You nailed her, Schlock Holmes.

      • Kristin was not in V week not post 2010/11. Kristin was backing away way before 2012. Btw you are such an idiot who can’t even recall she went to the Vancouver version of it and was rarely in NY except for work events, nice try 😂😂😂😂😂 Thin thin thin weak argument and jumping to thinner straws.

  • Re: Kristin Kreuk’s Blond Hair

I just think she looks better as burnet.

It’s completely racist but Asians weren’t meant to be blonds. 😉

    • They all want to be white, while calling whites “privileged”. Absolutely zero “diversity” in their own countries. No political correctness in their own countries.

    • Actually, there are Eurasians with blond hair. And Kristin is absolutely gorgeous in any hair color.
Folks in Nordic countries mixed with Eskimo Asian populations to the point all you had was blonds..
So actually it is a really good look for Kristin. But yeah, her dark-haired beauty is very attractive.

  • When Kreuk left or whether or not she immediately abandoned friends she made in Nx is meaningless.
Her only serious issue is Girls By Design, which she founded and fronted and maybe supervised, so…
Was GBD EFFECTIVELY used by Nx to groom underage girls for the sex cult?
And did Kreuk know “her girl empowerment” group could be used in this way?

However, the fact that exploiting minors for sex is such a serious crime, and the fact the Feds never mentioned GBD in the trail makes me think that GBD never effectively recruited girls into the sex cult.

And “Jane’s” account of Kreuk training girls in BDSM (tee hee) is as credible as Ben’s story about the recruiting party. Now if “Jane” had said Kreuk recruited Stormy Daniels into GBD, then that would be convincing.

    • I guess if you suddenly hear 2 anon supposed people say Allison was not in DOS tomorrow you will believe no matter the evidence?

Personally I believe the person who shows you who they are not not who turns no to yes after years to the same q, #IbelieveKristin. Publicly numerous people have supported her and stated she left in 2012. Higher than a proctor who would have zero news on who was a member and for how long. Kristin left and spoke out with her truth. She can’t stop something she had no clue of. Even GBD was a manipulation of her by Nancy. She saw the truth of that quickly.

Unlike Vicente who learned about DOS and took action she had no choice because she left years before and was estranged from crazy Allison BECAUSE of her choice to leave. In 2012.

What exactly was new here? He was able to find 2 people suddenly changing the truth? Just that Frank enjoys speculating out of nothing concrete so her fans will read articles. Not exactly any proof just rewrite. This rewrite of the timeline makes no sense, Kristin left privately and publicly in 2012/2013. If you want to believe an anonymous source with dubious credit/fact, the fault lies with you not Kristin.

You are basically criminalizing her behavior because she was coerced by her bf and when she wised up left, the above speculation is meritless. People higher than Mark have vouched Kristin was honest and got out BEFORE, same time she dumped her abusive ex.

If you still don’t want to confront the fact you are wrong, still she did nothing wrong. Hell the investigators never even questioned her and if there was a sec she was in 2015 the start of DOS she would have been asked and info would have come out in court. Seems like a million grasping of straws to blame her. https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/kzxnqx/these-actresses-have-been-linked-to-an-alleged-sex-cult

“Kreuk finally left Nxivm in 2012, around the time a bombshell Albany Times Union story interviewed two women who say Raniere had sex with them when they were underage, one of them as young as 12. Even with these allegations out in the open, much of Nxivm’s members reportedly remained faithful. It wasn’t until a 2017 New York Times story recounted the way secret society members were blindfolded, stripped naked, and branded that Grace Park reportedly left quietly.”

If you don’t understand how for years thousands believed it was a benign group you should read https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/ywxqwm/how-an-alleged-sex-cult-leader-preyed-on-celebrities

“How would someone like Kristin Kreuk fit into the coaching role at Nxivm?
I think people like Kristin enjoyed being a coach. I don’t want to speak for her, but she was a very lovely, gentle, compassionate, very caring kind of coach. And that was rewarding for her, it appeared. And she didn’t necessarily want to be paid, she didn’t need that. Going on to be a proctor [the paid coaching level] would have been very difficult for her acting career. At least that’s my interpretation.

Kristin left in 2012 and really distanced herself from everybody. Her ex was in the company, so I assumed that was the point of resistance. As an insider, I know there’s no way Kristin would have known about the slavery or branding until it became public. She wasn’t in touch, she completely distanced herself for personal and professional reasons.”

      https://hollywoodlife.com/2017/11/15/kristin-kreuk-allison-mack-sex-cult-nxivm-smallville/

“Yes Kristin Kreuk and Allison Mack were members of Nxivm. Kristin recruited Allison. But Kristin left shortly after I left in 2009. She got out before it became really bizarre and wasn’t involved with anything sexual.” Dones then went on to tell us how Raniere allegedly wooed women within the group into sexual situations, and it disgusted her so much she bailed on Nxivm for good.”

I think Kristin had a lot of courage to leave before any branding/sex cult as Sarah Edmondson one of the women branded said. It’s interesting because she is the most famous Kristin is blamed than other actors involved farther than 2012. She is in the same camp as Vicente in leaving under guise of work except with being more involved Vicente was able to convince people in DOS he knew to turn over material. Kristin didn’t have to make a statement and she wouldn’t have made a false one knowing if it’s not true others would out her.

10 years: “I still blame Kristin”
“Why? No reason because I read speculation blaming her. Who cares if it’s correct or no iota of evidence is presented. I need to blame anyone and everyone to feel good about myself”

Hmmmmm any Proctor would have no clue what KK’s status is. People like Susan Dones head of center and Nancy yes. There is a reason Kristin was never that close to Nancy, Lauren. Also the same girl who needed a double on tv is not having much secrets to spill bwahahahahah. The scenarios above ignore the deep divide by her leaving Nxivm in 2012 because it killed her relationship with Pimp Mack. They had no further contact after she warned Mack.

FYI: Mack introduced recruiter Mark Hildreth to Kreuk. The blame for Mack joining the cult is a little more complicated because Hildreth and Mack knew each other before.

      • KAR recruiting in NYC was not what made Ben’s story ridiculous. It was him placing every person in the news at the party, If he posts about it today, he now will recall that Jeffrey Epstein was there.

  • So Ms. Kreuk went on the record and stated she left around early 2013 by making a statement. Are these alleged proctors willing to go on the record and contradict her statement with some evidence that she was still a member in 2015-2016? If not, why should they be believed? It seems like she is continuously being brought up on this site, even though the authorities never cared about her, and now a month after the case against NXIVM’s leader has concluded. Why is that?

I’ve read differing and sometimes contradictory information here from anonymous sources. An article was posted here that said three high ranking members said she left. Now two proctors are saying she didn’t almost a year after she made her statement. Perhaps names for these sources ought to be provided so credibility can be assessed and accountability can determined.

    • The various references you cite are not necessarily inconsistent.

Kreuk said in 2018 “I left about five years ago and had minimal contact with those who were still involved.”
      https://frankreport.com/2018/03/29/kristin-kreuk-denies-knowledge-of-sex-cult/

Frank reported earlier that among his sources, one “former High-Rank of Nxivm” said, “Kreuk sent a polite letter of resignation, not giving any reason for quitting other than she had too many acting commitments to continue to participate in any meaningful way.”
      https://frankreport.com/2019/04/22/three-former-high-rank-kristin-kreuk-left-nxivm-in-2013/

This report just adds that “Kreuk remained a member of Nxivm until years later” – whatever “member” meant when someone was inactive – with minimal contact.

Also, interestingly, the proctors with knowledge of her involvement after 2012, would seem to agree that she was not coaching after then – meaning not in 2015 as has been theorized, making 5 sources who now effectively debunk that claim.

      • Being a member of the cult is being a member of the cult, whether the cult member is coaching or not. Nothing has been debunked, only confirmed: Kristin Kreuk lied about cutting the NXIVM cord in 2013 and was still a member. Being busy on a television show in Toronto while still associating with the cult is still being in the cult. Perhaps she was still coaching and these proctors didn’t know it? Either way, Kreuk was still a NXIVM cult member into 2016, still supported and recommended them at a minimum… and lied about it.

        Call the “whambulance” beetle boy.

        • Kreuk was not a member past 2016 even Frank says she was not from the credible sources. You can read right? She was also not involved in anything illegal

The FBI couldn’t find her name connected to anything even GBD was a harmless non recruitment charity that had nothing to do with Raniere. Bad job distorting facts for your hateful imagination.

        • Eh what you just said are all lies as is ignoring
THE MANY INCONSISTENCIES Frank says above.

Any attempt to blame Kristin for crimes others committed she had no knowledge of is AS disgusting as vanguard himself perpetrated by Frank and his nutty psycho commentators.

Inactive means not a member for Fula sake, splitting hairs to blame a woman for doing nothing wrong – SO Vanguard like congrats

        • There are all sorts of significantly different degrees of cult participation, from those involved in a group full time and running it, to active supporting members who attend courses and events, and then even what are sometimes called “under the radar” members (particularly in relation to Scientology, another extreme and vindictive group) who would like to leave but feel compelled to keep up an affiliation to maintain family, social and business relationships, and even fear the harassment that extreme groups sometimes mete out to defectors.

It would help to know exactly what remaining a “member” meant in her case, but in the absence of specific evidence we have to assume that was a very minimal, even token affiliation.

And, no, when someone asked her about GBD in a social media post 2016, she recommended something entirely different and unconnected to NXIVM.

          • “Sultan”, you must be such a bitter disappointment to your parents… You have nothing but desperate ramblings you so desperate want to be true and for others to believe, but it doesn’t work.

And, you moron, the person asked what happened to GBD and didn’t get an actual reason.

          • –It would help to know exactly what remaining a “member”.

Exactly. I asked this well over a year ago when this term was being thrown around by particular individuals. Before any type of discussion or debate begins about a subject, definitions and meanings of terms must be given otherwise it can devolve into arguments over semantics.

If none is given, then it can be assumed that the common meaning of the terms are in effect. Kristin went on the record and said she left NXIVM. This means that she was part of the group in some constant capacity that a term like “member” delineates. If you have a gym membership, then you’ve paid a fee for a particular period and are considered a member of the gym. If you renew your membership to continue it after the period ends, you are considered a member for the length of time that is a summation for all consecutive periods for which it is renewed, e.g., an annual membership paid consecutively for ten years allows a person to state that they’ve been a member for ten years. If you break your membership for a period of four years within the middle of that ten year period, then you can only be considered a member for six years at most.

Kristin said she LEFT the program. This term implies that she was part of the organization in a particular functional capacity and removed herself from it. It is a known fact she took and helped coach courses, making her both a student and a coach. And as part of an Multi-level Marketing organization, she implicitly became a recruiter because that is what such a business structure entails when people become a part of it. That was the extent of her involvement. It can be presumed that she was a member in the commonplace meaning of the term from June 2006 – when she took her first intensive – to early 2013 when she left. You cannot leave and be a member at the same time as this is a contradiction.

That she was labeled as a member in this article from 2015-2016 and that “she left in 2016” is also disingenuous unless proof is given of her alleged membership. This clearly contradicts her statement that she left in early 2013, and effectively calls her a liar. Because even if she benefited from EMs or some other support during that period, such participation doesn’t necessarily make her a member. As NXIVM was a legal business with a tax ID, she could have merely paid for some services rendered, e.g., had a few EMs done by Sarah Edmondson or someone else. Kristin never said she severed any and all contact with the group in its entirety. Only that she had “minimal” contact since early 2013, which means the “least amount possible” after the fact. Doing some one hour EMs a few times during 2015-2016 certainly qualifies for that. It is also clear from her statement that she had no hard feelings or disgust with NXIVM or its members until she found out about DOS just like everyone else. Like I said, she only made her statement because she kept being associated with “sex cult” due to her celebrity status and her Smallville connection to Allison Mack who was the key celebrity figure in the scandal.

Regardless, none of this has anything to do with any awareness of, recruitment for, participation in, etc., any criminal actions on her part that occurred while she was a part of NXIVM. This periodic regurgitation and recycling of her association to NXIVM when the government never cared to get her involved and it is now over a month since the NXIVM trial concluded, is obviously rooted in impure motivations by particular characters, either to continue to sully her via guilt by association so they can attack her “virtue signalling”, feminist or liberal viewpoints, or whatever else draws the personal ire of jealous or rejected people.

  • “Who can blame her for trying to save her hard won acting career… ”

(Raises hand) I can! I can blame her for trying to save her ass. I can blame her for luring people into this cult using her (minor) celebrity status. I can blame her for getting her friend Allison Mack involved in this pyramid scheme / illegal racket. Her friend is headed off to prison, likely for several years; does she feel no guilt, no sense of responsibility? Man, that’s cold!

Her online statement, washing her hands of the whole mess and absolving herself of all responsibility, is at best deceptive. It fudges dates, as Frank’s revelations make clear. It fails to mention her elevated status and her importance to Nxivm, both as a recruiter and a coach. It is, in short, dishonest.

Nxivm was a shady operation from the beginning. Its overpriced, derivative “tech”, its failure to get results, its lax (ahem…) bookkeeping, set off alarm bells in lots of people. Contrast Callum Blue’s (another Smallville cast member) reaction after his first brush with this con. He knew it was a scam and left immediately. Unlike Kreuk, of course, he was not getting paid by Nxivm.

What Kreuk was doing was deeply unethical. And when the ship showed signs of sinking, she made her way to the lifeboats. Now, of course, she’s shocked — Shocked! — that anything nefarious or illegal was going on. Yeah sure, Kristin. Sure.

    • You are right in several points, but do not put your money in Callum Blue’s. he was friend of allison, both starred in the movie Marilyn (2011) were companions in smallville in season 9, and he was or is boyfriend of catherine oxemberg, and even so he did not bother trying to persuade his friends who were in Nxivm , as many people saw something bad and even thought it was a cult, but they left and gave little importance to what might happen, people underestimate what can happen in a cult and at the end of the day few people want to put themselves in the line to help others.

    • Paid? I don’t think coaches are paid, but I am sure all courses and EMs she too she had to pay for.
And, she was making around a million dollars a year for acting and endorsements–so why would money from Nx mean anything to her?

    • Erica Durance didn’t think it was a shady operation and Allison got a good look at her pussy on more than one occasion. Fortunately Erica had already flaunted her naked body on screen and elsewhere so having photographic collateral on her held little weight.

        • Anonymous at 1:44 am – Erica Durance, like Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum and most of the Smallville cast, never had anything to do with Nxivm. If you have any evidence any of them did, let’s see it (and no, a Canadian actor following a Canadian producer on Twitter is not evidence)

Rosenbaum has a podcast, and he interviewed Tom Welling in a recent episode. Turns out Allison Mack once told Rosenbaum he should check out this “self improvement group”, which was almost certainly Nxivm. Rosenbaum told her, politely, to stuff it. As for Welling, he had no idea about any of this cult stuff. Both men called Mack’s fate “tragic”.

It’s interesting to me that Kreuk was an easy mark for this fraud, and how easily she got one fellow cast member (Mack) involved. One but only one; I assume they talked up this group to the entire cast at one time or another since they both recruited actively.

It seems only Kristin Kreuk and Allison Mack were dopey enough to fall for this scam. Or corruptible enough.

Curiously, there’s another member of the Smallville cast who, like Mack, got arrested, prosecuted, and convicted, though nothing to do with Nxivm. Sam Jones, who played Pete on the first few seasons, got busted around 2010 for possession with intent to distribute and served 10 months of a 1-year sentence at Lompoc penitentiary. Two felons in one cast — what are the odds?

As for Erica Durance, for whom you seem to have an inexplicable loathing, she’s had a successful career as an actress and producer, she starred in her own show “Saving Hope”, she played Supergirl’s mom last season on the CW, she lives happily in a huge home with husband and kids. She was never embarrassed about the topless scene she did in her first movie, a legendarily terrible teen horror flick. She’s got a great body and she’s in terrific shape. Her husband looks like a Greek god, too. They love their kids, they’ve got lots of money, and I think that’s great. Nice to know that in a world that has its share of tragedy there are winners too. People who make money honestly and know how to enjoy it, who have something positive to give the world.

          • She was “easy mark” because her boyfriend Mark was in and recruited her.

    • And Callum Blue told Catherine Oxenberg that it was bs.
Yet Catherine stayed. Then again she also followed Ramtha for a while.
Then had something to do with starting a woman’s orgasm group.
I mean, geez! Speaking of idle hands being the devil’s workshop!
Catherine has my sympathy about her daughter. India and her rescue, but she needs to get a real life, till the soil, start a winery, something worthwhile instead of going from cult to cult.

      • Vicente followed Ramtha, I don’t recall Ox doing it. Also, I don’t recall her connection to the orgasm group. You need to provide links to back up your claims. Just believing a random claim is how cults get started.

  • Thanks, Frank, Interesting update—finally something more than vague speculation.

The 2 new proctors (who remain anonymous, so some won’t believe them) say KK did stop coaching in 2013 as other insiders said, however she still hung around as a member (dues paying, presumably) and did at least some recruiting/encouragement–so not really “out” till 2015/16.

I wonder if Frank was being sarcastic when he wrote that after 2013 she derived some “benefits” like EMs–then he later speculated that what she (and others) revealed in EMs were probably used against them as a form of non-DOS collateral.

Keith’s kiss can turn a princess into a frog…and she stays a frog a long time.

  • Hey kristen kreuk hopefully your kareer is kapoot.. lol see what I did there.. anyways you know just because your an actress it does not mean that you can get away with questionable or inappropriate criminal behavior.. I’m hoping that Hollywood does not hire you anymore.. from one Canadian to another, your a messed up young lady..

    • You need serious mental help. Kristin was never even mentioned in court because SHE WAS NEVER INVOLVED.

      Please stop your delusions.

      • Would you please only post the same comment one time. There is no need to post it seven, eight or 10 times with only marginal variations.
For example, you have posted the above comment 9 more times. I am not going to approve these since they all say the same thing, with just slightly different insults hurled at different people. Thank in advance for your cooperation.

      • Kristin Crook wasn’t mentioned during the trial because she wasn’t on trial. We don’t know whether the FBI/DOJ is still investigating her. Crook didn’t leave NXIVM publicly until 2018. Perhaps she wanted to get away from Hildreth because she broke up with him, didn’t want to be around him, and didn’t have much/any issue with NXIVM. How do you know whether the investigators interviewed her? There were lots of people who probably committed crimes in NXIVM that weren’t discussed in court, mainly because they weren’t on trial.

    • You dreaming mean girl…..Kristin’s career is doing just fine..she will be working and producing her 3rd year of her series for CW.
While getting a college degree. The babe has a bright future. And Kristin bashers can go cry alone in their dark bedrooms in the corner after this court case is history.
      Sad….little people.

  • –I was told that her boyfriend Hildreth tried to get Kreuk to invest her life savings in Raniere-guided schemes but that fortunately Kreuk’s father stood in the way and prevented it.

    What a dick Hildreth is.

Where is your article castigating how much of a dick Hildreth is? Didn’t he bring in Kreuk, Mack, Nicole and other women into the cult? He just slunk away like a little slug after the branding revelations but he was sucking up to his SOP master for over a decade.

    • Yep. Add Hildreth to the (long) list of people who deserve at least as much, and in many cases more, attention for their roles in NXIVM and in recruiting people, as Kreuk.

    • Mark Hildreth spent 12 years in the sex cult and 6 years in Kristin Kreuk—I want him to tell us everything!

    • He helped nothing and Kristin only stayed because of coercion by her ex BF she dumped same time as leaving cult in 2012.

      • This is the problem with democracy. Crazy people like you are allowed to vote and cast out the votes of normal people. You are mad…

    • Well she still was a part of his cult into 2016 and lied about it, so yeah. Following a known pedophile is terrible.

    • Yolanda:

Could you please help me with a serious question.
I am sure that either you or Pea Onyu can answer this question.

      Who is Ryanne S.?

It seems that Ryanne S. and Pea Onyu know each other, perhaps personally.
And some of Ryanne S.’s comments are too clever by half.
They raise more questions than they answer.

      Pea Onyu
      October 7, 2018 at 9:13 pm
Tell me troll, are you paid to post here or are you a true believer? Is your name a tribute to Ayn Rand or to the moon Goddess Rhiannon, who well serviced our Vanguard in her youthful splendor?

      Ryanne S
      October 7, 2018 at 9:59 pm
I don’t know Pea because I’m not the inventor of this dumb name Alison is the one who chose it, so ask her!
Who is Rhiannon?, I’ve heard that name .mentioned before.
But Pea, you may finally be right about something! How about THAT Captain Shadow!!
      Finally Pea gets something correct!!

      Ryanne S
      October 7, 2018 at 10:30 pm
      Sorry Captain Shadow
I wasnt clear, which was my fault.
No, Allison did not create Pea Onyu, as far as I know. But she did choose THIS name, right Allie?…And I ever said anything about Mack.
Now I think Allie is all mad cuz I’m taunting her with this dumb name…
What happened to Bianca and Lara Le Fart?
I really HATED that Fart bitch!

      Ryanne S
      October 7, 2018 at 11:19 pm
She sure does, Captain Shadow. She even writes posts here. In fact, she could be Heidi or Anon or Onewomanarmy or
OCD. But I dont think she is the scooter/flowers guy, but maybe she is.

But I know for a fact that she is writing shit here. Right Allie?

I dont think this Allie is a Mack, though, more like Allie Whack

  • I liken it to the comments made by some members of Girls By Design.who were active on a popular Smallville message board years ago, when asked about NIXVM, and any possible creepiness going on. They said they didn’t care about that crap, or anything KK and Voth were involved in, because they had made great friends through the group. Perhaps a similar sentiment is one of the reasons she stuck around to some capacity.

  • this makes sense—“Kreuk might have feared he might damage her [and/or her career] in some way, putting her in a ‘damned if I leave and damned if I stay’ scenario that required her to delicately escape.”

  • This seems like a reasonable and even-handed perspective and analysis.

Members of high control groups and cults often get out in stages. Humans are hesitant to completely write off investments of time and resources – it’s a cognitive bias best exemplified by “sunk costs”* – plus it gets particularly complicated when they have social and professional relationships that are involved. It wouldn’t be at all surprising that Kreuk bowed out in a way that resulted in minimum disruption and controversy, and that even after ceasing to be active, retained some ties along with believe that her involvement might have been of some value.

As I’ve noted before, if there’s anyone really significant to call to account, there’s a long list of more major players than Kreuk – even so-called “heroes” like Mark Vicente and Sarah Edmondson have yet to really tell the story of what went on at the Vancouver center, such as where the money went and whether there were crimes committed; in Edmondson’s case, she followed a somewhat typical path out of such an extreme group, in that she only left when she ended up herself a victim of its practices.

    * “The sunk cost effect is manifested in a greater tendency to continue an endeavor once an investment in money, effort, or time has been made. ”
    https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/0749597885900494

“The sunk cost effect is the general tendency for people to continue an endeavor, or continue consuming or pursuing an option, if they’ve invested time or money or some resource in it,” says Christopher Olivola, an assistant professor of marketing at Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business and the author of a new paper on the topic published in the journal Psychological Science. “That effect becomes a fallacy if it’s pushing you to do things that are making you unhappy or worse off.”

This idea often applies to money, but invested time, energy or pain can also influence behavior. “Romantic relationships are a classic one,” Olivola says. “The longer you’ve been together, the harder it is to break up.”

(links to longer article in Time magazine)

    • She was still actively involved in 2015-2016 because she wanted to be. Nobody forced her. She never once criticized NXIVM because she liked it. She is not a victim. It was all her choise.

      • She wasn’t actively involved after about 2012 – only passively, as Frank’s sources attest.

And she may have backed away slowly and carefully because of NXIVM’s reputation for going after defectors, so she could in fact have felt under a pressure of sorts. One of the articles in the Times Union’s 2012 series, detailed what had happened to people who had left.

    • If someone wanted to know the opinions of an asshole, they would just fart. Stop rambling you mad crazy bastard.

    • Yep. Kristin was never a major player, she would have been as brave or heroic as Mark IF she had not left in 2012!

I believe higher ups of Nxivm who backed her up vs 2 years post verdict 2 proctors who would not have any information about her membership. While it is a fair analysis it leaves out the rest of the truth of how many people have stated again and again she left the time she said. It only like fan fiction speculates she stayed and why she did when likely she had left.

      • You are like NXIVM members who ignore all the bad press because they so desperately want their cult to be something special.

  • There’s a word for happily reaping all of the NXIVM benefits because you’re a celebrity and then slinking off by yourself rather than using your celebrity status to help alert others. COWARD.

Those who believe Kristin Crook saw the small upstate newspaper stories, was aware she was “named” in a lawsuit and never served, or saw Tighe’s obscure blog are being ridiculous. Unless someone can prove they sent her an email, letter, were in a group meeting with her, etc., regarding NXIVM’s various problems, I’m not buying it.

So, it could very well be that Crook did leave primarily because of her acting workload, although the boyfriend breakup and other issues could also have been factors. Things rarely happen for a singular reason. The real question isn’t whether she is the snake depicted above, the question is whether she committed crimes while she was participating in NXIVM. I don’t know the answer to that question, but I do know she’s a coward. You can repay your debt to society by going to prison, but a coward is forever.

  • These Kristin Kreuk pieces, remind me of a teacher I had at school who had a strange but effective punishment he liked to use:

“Write me four sides of A4 about the inside of a table tennis ball.”

“Write me four sides about what makes your spleen different from anybody else’s.”

    And many more.

  • She can’t say she left the organization and then you say she was still a member in it. She says she did leave at the beginning of 2013.

Either she did leave or she didn’t. Receiving EMs or whatever from proctors are services rendered. If this is true, it can be presumed she paid for them and there should be proof of it. That doesn’t mean she was still a member in it, either in the same way before she said she left, or in some other way.

You need to be more clear if you’re calling her a liar or not.

  • It was posted here on the Frank Report in 2018, after Kristin Kreuk lied about leaving NXIVM in 2013, that she was a member long after 2013. Others were posting about it here on Frank Report. The year was 2015 was often quoted.

Kristin Kreuk knew Keith Raniere was a pedophile, rapist, lawsuit terrorist etc. She knew all the bad publicity, including things with her name attached (as mentioned in this article) and she still was happy to associate with the cult. Now Frank himself can confirm what others in the comments section were saying, Kreuk was still involved with NXIVM post 2013 and she plain out lied about it. Not just downplayed, but lied. She said “about five years ago” without being specific for deliberate reasons.

Combine that with the hypocrisy of pretending to fight a pedophile on tax payer funded television, talking about Harvey Weinstein, signing an open letter against a theatre man accused of inappropriate behaviour towards women and other bullshit, while silent about NXIVM and you have one dirty fraud.

    Sad.

    • It has been written many times that all prime time dramas on the CBC are fully funded by advertising, not one penny from taxpayers.
      Why do not get it?
      Sad

      • You have posted bullshit many times “sultan” and no one cares what you say.

You don’t even know what you are talking about. It’s from tax payers, one reason why so many hate the CBC.

All that jacking off and repeating quranic verses has turned your little beetle brain to shit. 🤭😁😂

      • Why do we care about when this lady left. She’s not one that had slaves ect… Leave her be. Saratoga in decline blog did this too. Talked negatively about people that left NXIUM and really didn’t have anything to do with the criminal stuff going on.

        • Because she’s easy on the eyes and it’s unclear what she did while she was in. You don’t know whether she didn’t have anything to do with the criminal stuff going on than those who claim she did.

          • Yeah they pretend they care about Kreuk’s criminal stuff, but they really want to know any sexual stuff. If she was plain their interest would be nil.
