Antar had no licensed legal counsel, no psychiatrist was consulted. No in-depth family studies. The physician referred and recommended the child be evaluated. Limited evidence was not presented in family court. Jane Grossman made decisions to remove the child based on unsubstantiated evaluations from Yale. It is unknown if a rape kit was ever preformed.

Recognizing the signs of sibling sexual abuse is critical to address this issue, especially when the victim fail to disclose. In some cases, the physical signs include the child REPORTING ABDOMINAL PAIN WITH NO KNOWN CAUSE, genital pain or bleeding, reoccurring, urinary tract infection or incontinence.
