Shared Parenting is a concept that recognizes that both parents should have equal rights to raise, live with, interact and support their children.  It promotes the idea that rather than family court judges deciding which parent should have custody and who should pay support, both parents have to work together and share custody.  The judge would be required only to enforce shared custody (absent extraordinary circumstances).


Presently, custody is solely the judge’s decision, often based on recommendations of for-profit court actors. If shared custody became law, the family court’s multi-billion divorce and custody business would be obliterated. Family law attorneys, therapists, and custody evaluators would lose their livelihoods and have to find another grift to engage in.


Taxpayers would save since there would be far less need for Family Court judges, and courtrooms would close.


Today’s Family Court depends on naive Americans who believe that political judges guided by mercenary lawyers, who are aided by mercenary therapists, guardians ad litem, custody supervisors, attorneys for children, custody evaluators, and other financially motivated court actors, will do a fair and honest job in deciding the future of their children in an altruistic manner.


Foolish parents think the adage “the best interest of the children” means their children. A word of clarification: The best interest of the children means the attorneys’ children.

Shared Parenting would help eliminate the Silver Bullet (false allegations made by mothers to eliminate the father’s custody) and the misuse of Parental Alienation (usually false claims made by fathers to stop the mother’s custody).

How often do our courts promote and order equal and shared parenting?

Does money play a role in outcomes?

Who is ordered to pay what?

What are GALs paid?

What are the attorneys paid?

How many cases are returned to court? (That one we know from former Chief State Justice Rogers)

What is the average number of motions filed?

What is the average length and cost of a custody case?

How many cases involve claims of DV?

How many of these claims are supported by a finding in a court of evidence and law based on probable cause?

How many court orders are appealed and overturned?

Which attorneys appear before which judges most often?

Does that have an impact on outcomes?

Etc.

We all have our personal experiences and (biases), but the hard data is not out there because the states and courts need to track outcomes or costs.

The information IS available, just not readily accessible, or it is being deliberately kept from us.

Some have created surveys, and that’s a step in the right direction, but not broad enough.

There is a site where people can rate their judges (www.therobingroom.com), but few know it exists.

“Shared Parenting” removes the decision from the judges and their mercenary associates. It requires parents to act responsibly to work out a plan (much as they did when they decided to unite) and denies one parent the opportunity to use the financially-driven Family Court system to remove the other parent from the children’s lives.


Family court judges have plenty to be happy about. They live a life of ease without a jury to hamper their unbridled power.

For whatever reason, Family Court attracts a certain type of lawyer.

        There is no destruction of “families”. The families have self distructed prior to the filing . The meaning of family in the context of family court is the father and family. Through the fatherhood initiative. It's important for people to start paying attention to the languestics being written in to legislation and contracts. The new family such as in the Dulos case. Where Michelle moved herself and her daughter into a house that was part of martial disillusion. Michelle was involved in the custody evaluation and was contacting the guardian ad lithiums in regards to children she had no legal standing. She had a confidential custody evaluation to a case she was not a party to. This is similar to the Kassonoff case. Where a third party moves in to a house that they have no legal rights to. Engages in the custody battle. The harm spoken about is to the father's financials. The financial obligations to child support and alimony if awarded. This has been a long standing complaint for men's rights groups. The on going blanket application of legislation over individual cases. As exposed in the comment section of the frank report over the equal rights to present the individual merit of each case. It should be extremely obvious by now that going to court and making false claims of abuse “silver bullet” tactics would be ill advised. The use of lack of evidence is turned in to false reporting. The courts are disallowing out side mental health services. There is ABSOLUTELY no oversight to the psychologist. Granted immunity. Statistics are tossed around with out the breakdown. Single parent household are made up of multiple cases. Widows and widowers. Father's and mother. Women engaging in new relationships are used against them. The information is used to gender profile cases rather than the individual merit of each case. There is little focus on evidencery hearing and the psychologist are forced on cases. The woman attempting to exercise equal rights to present cases not agreeing to slip custody for what ever reason are labeled as an alienator. Parental rights are over shadowing the best interest of children. Thanks to the MOU and pilot program for the fatherhood initiative it would appear mother's rights to argue best interest have disappeared. Obvious children do better when both parents are involved. THESE are not those cases! Absolutely no information about forced custody agreements is ever mentioned. No data on the long term effects of the court, we don't have information on family court until someone is dead. This legislation is to eliminate financial responsibility. ABSOLUTELY nothing will change in high conflict cases. It will still cost to prove your case in a family court. There will still be insensitive to engage in uneithical conduct in these cases.

          another female advocate member trying to put men down to advance themselves… why is it a loss for woman to get 50/50 and win for men??? duhhhh becasue the system is incentivized for false allegations with no accountability. Women and men are equal mothers and fathers are equal as parents… lets switch the shoes and put boundaries on both , you will see how quick falsification of scenarios and narrative s occur, you will see how quickly individuals will cooperate/ co-parent and no more BS embellishment of/fabrication of narratives occur. EVERYONE is held accountable no more gender issues. no more incentivization for upper hand in divorce for alimony, child support, child custody , falsification by utilizing the criminal system to advance in family court.             Mothers are family to the children. It's called discarding. ” Father's and families” destroying families refers to financial obligations to child support. Alimony in some cases. In the Dulos case, Kassonoff case, Zanard and Syzmonic brought a third party in the case. Zanard is the stepparent. Syzmonic brought legal action not just for himself but stepmother. Using two parent household.. Bringing a third party into a matter. That is not two parents working it out responsibility.

    Emotional abuse is not recognized in the state of Connecticut. It's not usually grounds for restraining order. Emotional abuse is one of the most damaging aspects of domestic violence. Having long term effects. Will there be legislation to address psychological abuse? Currently the courts are not allowing outside mental health professionals. This would have little effect on ” high conflict cases”. These are the smaller percentages of cases we are discussing in family court. How will this effect the funding for one gender through the fatherhood initiative? . There is still legislation and financial insensitive to in the extreme cases to hide and ignore abuse.. There are still financial insensitive to ignore all forms of abuse. How does this address absent and neglectful parents? It's still leaves all the abuse and alligations of abuse on the table.

The main focus of the family court problems is and continue to be the failed protection of minor children in the state of Connecticut. As well as women. Allegations and the painting of the perception of individuals who wish to access the court system based on the merits of a case. With evidence. Intimidation to gain control of the situation. I'm not sold on the plan. It has absolutely no financial investment. It's about not letting people get manipulated. I'm not sold that there are that many false allegations of abuse.     There is no information on which parent. I think this information is very important. I think it's being left out on purpose. There is no mention of psychological abuse.

He will not have to register on the sex offender registry. A series of allegations during the hearing of years of sexual assault psychological and physical abuse. All information negatively targeting women. This is more than reconnecting dads. It's the economic growth and development of the country. No one seems to care how the single parent homes came about.                 Requesting assistance of the family court system to have your children not exposed to substance abuse, physical abuse, psychological abuse or sexual abuse is a responsible parent. These high conflict cases make up 20 percent of the family court proceedings. Where there is smoke there is fire. People going to Connecticut family court system quickly find the state of Connecticut doesn't address the public health crisis. The label it alienation the preditory Attorneys get the GaL assigned. Obstructing litigants form getting evidence interduced. The immuned gal or AMC apply the all fathers to be engaged in their childrens lives. The psychologist comes on with the alienation fraud. The MOU is an experimental pilot program with federal funding. It's a government project that the government is refusing to investigate. The Connecticut Senitors brush off the complaints. Presenting themselves as heros for low crime rates. Safe place for women and discuss employment. Abortion rights. You don't have the right to be an equal parent. Express concern over your childrens welfare because of the fatherhood initiative. Ultimately they remove your children because you are concerned about your children or disagree with your childrens father on something.

    It’s all about the money.

    Mothers and fathers who are fit parents are eliminated from their child’s lives— not through dcf but through family court criminals who appoint guardians and custody evaluators to give custody to the paying parent.

    It’s been going on for 5 decades and many parents and children dead as a result.

    The targeted parent, like Luigi, is treated as a non-person. His rights violated, children stolen never to see him again, his reputation trashed by fraudulent court orders and false narratives of the gal and custody evaluator-. Both who benefit from “immunity” and cannot be sued.

    Their family savings is taken, threatened with incarceration constantly and destroyed by court criminals.

    Thank you FR for your continued reporting on attorneys who act with impunity because they know the family court cabal work in lockstep as they torture children by ripping them from the lives they once knew— and from the arms of parents they love.

            AFCC isn’t allowed to profit with any kind of industry in Connecticut unless they register as a business. That might explain why Mr. Grant left or was asked to leave the Court Support Services Division around 2016 – 2017. The Hartford Courant should have reported what happened and didn’t — leaving most to guess about what actually happened.

            While the details are still a private matter for some unknown reason, Connecticut’s Judicial Ethics Committee decided in 2013 that an anonymous director (who appears to be Mr. Adelman) couldn’t serve as Director of an anonymous “non-profit” (probably “CONNECTICUT CHAPTER OF AFCC, INC.“).

            Did AFCC “members” file documents to register and operate their business in the state … again — after 2013?

When you use the criminal system to advance in custody, you gain the upper hand in support and assets.     I went through FC. It's a f ing joke! No kids involved! The plaintiff is usually the aggressor! Files motions after motions with a blood thirsty money pig of a lawyer! Even if 1 parent is sane you still have to defend yourself in FC to get anything! Why can't the black robes understand when one tries to over reach ! They should be protecting the children and make sure the parents remain stable and not make the situation worse! You have many bad black robes that think they know more about your situation and believe the narcissist parent and take all your money and distribute it!     Child trafficking in family court is a nonpartisan, gendered issue. Men are sometimes the victims. Women are usually the victims. Children are always the victims. The comments show the complication and thus enormous effort needed to reform the system due to lack of any meaningful, independent metrics made available. Lack of accountability in the system. Lack of awareness by the public and those in the system. And enormous profits.

    What is known: States to do not want liability for child placement. Third parties stand to make BILLIONS of dollars in trafficking our children. Correction: they are making billions of dollars in a product that lasts 18 years. Our children.

    There are no criminal penalties in family court. When abuse is legitimate, there are no protections for mothers and children. Psychopaths, predators, and abusers have learned there are no criminal penalties in family court. Yes, some of these predators are female.

    The minority of men who have lost children due to false allegations have projected their situation to believe that “women,” as a category have any power in family court to alleviate the shame of powerlessness that family court brings ALL parents. As a result Mothers are watching their children awarded to Fathers who abuse their children. In 95% of cases the abuser is a family member. It is usually not the mother. This doesn’t mean it never happens. False allegations from predators and psychopaths are allowable due lack of evidence required, lack of evidentiary procedures, untrained judges and billions in profit. The liars are a small part of the problem here. They are not the root cause, despite the pain and anguish they are capable of wielding in FC.

    In one case, a private pay GAL/custody evaluator had an average of 8 continuances lasting over three years in each case for FORTY cases in a row. The GAL dissolved all protection orders within two weeks, *with no evidence* in 40/40 cases, claimed AUoC and awarded all children to the father.

    Were a couple of these cases false allegations? It’s likely. What about the other 38? Why is evidence ignored and omitted? Why are there no criminal penalties? Who is profiting?

    Mothers can no longer protect their children. Fathers can no longer protect their children. Do not let the racketeering and corruption and father’s rights garbage being lobbied—offering protective fathers a false hope— turn this into a worse scenario. Father’s rights is empowering to the individual fathers who have lost children. It is a horrifying experience. Adopting the false hope offered by fathers rights worsens the problem, though admittedly the message is in a shiny package.

    There is no dichotomy, here only the fight to protect our children. 98% of women in homeless shelters are there from DV. 85% of women in abusive relationships had a child with their abuser. Where do these cases go? Family court.

    Gender based thinking is useful in identifying victims toward policy but is not useful in solving the problem.

    Please stop making family court solutions gendered. Family court is the enemy. And the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Protective parents need to be united toward family court reform. Or our children will continue to be sold by strangers. Legally.

    I havent seen my children in ten years. I was stripped away from them 12 years ago. It has been 2 and half years their father blocked my number. And there are court orders in place that say I shoud see and speak with my children. Father is an abuser.

How can any mother be happy not knowing how her children are?

    What a mother does become is strong. Happy I'm strong. Serene, despite the wretched pain that burns every moment apart, KEPT apart from my children. I would not wish this horror on my worst enemy,. Abone that is broken, heals stronger.

    We learn to stop taking it personally. We understand that these cowards fear this primodrial bond between mother and child because it has no science, it can not be weighed, calculated, bought, sold, manufactured -destroyed. It cant. It wont. Even A.I. can not and will not ever be able to replicate this bellisma-bond because there is no intelligence more supreme than unconditional love. Meaning no dividines, no quotas, no one-upmanships, no conquering, no debate-EVER! There is n o t h i n g that can opress this love, In fact, the all their goobly gook may have broken my heart. Yes.
