  • some wise words of wisdom from that field beyond wrong doing and right doing 😉

    @brainpickings

“The carbon dioxide we exhale as a waste product becomes the life-giving force for a plant; in turn, the oxygen waste of a plant gives us life. This exchange of gas is what the word ‘spirit’ means. Spirituality is essentially the act of breathing.” Oof!

  • Flood gates open! This news is on every major website. Kudos to everyone on this site. Even between the arguments, there are real quality human beings here. Congrats Frank. Hard work pays off. I hope Clare Bronfman is in real terror right now. Clock is ticking for her too.

  • $150,000 will not cover defense costs. No way in hell. More like $1.5 Million, unless Allison pleads early.

Even then, the US Attorney’s Office may not offer a plea deal. And even if they do, in Federal Courts, the Federal Judge does not have to accept a plea deal. A Federal Judge can impose whatever sentence they want, as long as it’s within the guideline range (presumption of fair sentence, Gall v. USA).

Mandatory minimum of 15 years. MINIMUM. The US Attorney’s Office would have to allow her to plea to a lesser offense. They might not. And there is no early release or parole in the Federal system. So, Allie would be looking at a sentence of 13.5-14 years. And it’s not going to be at a camp.

It still is mind boggling. How do you go from a hit TV show to be looking at 20 years in Federal prison (don’t forget the immigration fraud)?

    • “$150,000 will not cover defense costs. No way in hell. More like $1.5 Million”

It’s easily $600-$1,000 per attorney hour, and attorneys are rabid about their billables, down to the minute. $150k could get chewed up in a week.

  • Any word on when and where the arrest took place, and where she is being held? Hopefully, the slaves all start to reclaim their lives starting tonight.

  • Well, her involvement with “The Source” helped her get a lead role in a compelling drama.

  • Thank. Goodness. I don’t know why this took so long, but let’s hope she goes away and stays away for a long time.

  • Yes, we all have been waiting for this. Still need Lauren Salzman to be in cuffs along with about 10 – 30 more. The bus to make a deal is getting smaller and smaller.

  • Uh, Nancy – Don’t you think it’s about time for you to cut a deal that will allow your daughters to get reduced jail time or just probation? Having given them away as toys for Raniere to play with, you now have a chance to do something a real parent would do. And don’t forget, Mother’s Day is coming soon…

  • It was expected, but as long as it didn’t happen, there was a doubt. Now it’s real.

    Very, very stupid Allison.

  • Ooh la la…let the chips continue to fall and the culprits be rounded up! Waiting with bated breath !!

  • You’re next, India.

You think getting lots of sleep, eating food with lots of calories and protein, and cutting the slaves off from the cult, could jump start their brains? We need roughly 50 grams of protein a day and a good portion of that is for brain health. The slaves got so few calories and so little protein, that damage to their brains certainly happened. I wonder if there’s any hope for any of the slaves to wake up as they get physically stronger in prison.

  • Oooh f*ck ! Now it’s real… :_(

Until here there were just “stories” but now it’s real…

I don’t rejoice, I feel relieved… But it feels bad, because all of this seems so concrete yet !..

  • Breaking News!! Another step in the dismantling of the Raniere/Bronfman/Salzman/Mack et all crime syndicate.

or as Lana would say: This shit is getting Realz!!

SUV parked on the side of Lauren Salzman’s garage a few minutes ago.

        • I assume you are talking about Lauren’s hairless cat or cats (at one point she had two) and not the area above her own VaJAYJAY. If the bitch branded her cats, I will make sure she is jailed for animal abuse.
