        Don't respond when you don't know. His pictures without his eyes blacked out are available all over online.. it's silly to think this one would result in anyone getting hypnotized by looking at the photo. That aside I am an expian and what you are conjecturing isn't how they do it.

          The jig is up. The female victims can breathe, pretend they are sad that Vanguard is clutching his shower soap, and get on with their lives. The rest of you (us) can stop referencing yourselves as expians and be happy the sociopath didn't want to bang your daughter or your wife (or you).       I assumed it was because you could see the reflection of the person taking the photo, so the picture is to protect that person's identity.

    Thank you, Frank! To see Keith Raniere in the back of a police car is such a welcome sight.

    Raniere does not look happy. Perhaps he's contemplating his penance with surcharge the federal authorities will administer. Raniere should be grateful that, despite the forever-after absence of his slave harem to tend to his every need, he will not have to cook or clean or drive in prison. Prison is well-suited for a man with no real skills! Perhaps he can start a Society of Protectors social club and make some new friends 🙂

    It's hard to tell without being able to see his eyes, but he doesn't look happy. Shame. You'd think he could use one of his modules to choose to be happy despite the fact that he's about to be mercilessly raped in prison. Maybe he needs an EM?

      My guess, she'll keep the faith. Keith Raniere and his brainwashing have consumed one-third of Allison Mack's life. It might take years before she can think clearly. And I doubt she has the resources for a fancy lawyer, the kind that would tell her to shut up and have her declared mentally incompetent so as to minimize the sentence.

        Yep, a lot of folks, including me, have just learned about this group and are jaws are hitting the floor – especially since it appears there were powerful people in the government, law enforcement, and the legal system that were helping them go after their “enemies”. The stuff this group was up to is mind blowing. Let's not limit it to this guy- there are a lot of people who need to be punished, not just the leader. Wait till you start getting some news reports and more and more people see what was going on.

    Toni Natalie, a Rochester-area women who dated Raniere in the 1990s, said seeing the news of Raniere's arrest Monday was “surreal.”

    Natalie has spoken out against Raniere and NXIVM for nearly 20 years, warning of his manipulative techniques and assisting women who defected from the group. Raniere has tied Natalie up with lawsuits and court proceedings since they broke up in 1999.

    “To hear the relief from these women – for all of us, it’s really over,” Natalie said Tuesday.

    “Every five or six years, a group of women comes out and I sit down with them and support them any way I can. And every time, he walks away. He’s not walking away this time.”
