Guest View: Toni Natalie saved countless, unknown people from joining Raniere

Keith invented a death and demise timeline he would send to women to threaten them.

On Toni Natalie

Toni, you’re an amazing woman who has silently been here paving the path for those who have left this crazy man, his crazy people, and his crazy companies.

The work you have done to expose the truth without the need of a book, TV, or movie deal has saved thousands from enrolling, and has helped many leave when they came across information exposed about the truth of this liar and his followers.

My hat is off to you, and you are a true hero in every sense, due to your humble and kind nature, but at the same time, the mother bear who takes no bull from those who tell half truths to protect their self image and cover up their misdeeds.

Keith Raniere warned Toni Natalie of her pathway to her demise.

Editor’s note: Try to keep in mind that Toni Natalie was the first defector. She was the pioneer for all who defected. And try to keep in mind she was totally alone. One woman against the monster Raniere with the gruesome Bronfman millions all flung against her.  One woman alone.

All she had to do was surrender to Raniere. Give in. Confess or hide.  And 20 years later, he is still attacking her. It was Toni Natalie who exposed him first. That created the public record that others could build on, about a monster pretending to be a saint. All the early record was her, and her alone fighting him.

Others came later. But no one stood up to him alone – other than Toni Natalie. Everyone who ever fought Raniere afterward had Toni Natalie.  But she fought him for years alone. And what was her crime? She wanted to leave him instead of living a polygamous life with him. For this, he has attacked her relentlessly for 20 years.

For the wicked soulless followers of Raniere – in your pea-brainwashed heads – if you think your Vanguard has any merit, then study what he did to Toni Natalie and defend him then.

Really? What did she do to save thousands? She left at the beginning of the program and then 16,000 people enrolled. Sounds lofty. Seems nice enough but this sounds like another Bouchey fluff story

-When Toni left, she had no idea the furry Keith was about to unleash on her and her family. The ridiculous wrath that Keith came at Toni with, is what really opened people’s eyes to what was below the surface of Keith. What Toni had to withstand after she left Keith is something no person should have to go through. She is still facing fictional lawsuits and looking over her shoulder. This inhumane way Keith has acted towards Toni has obviously helped mitigate against NXIVM’s growth. However, KEITH (with the help of his blind followers) did this to himself.

– Where Toni herself has probably helped the most people is by not remaining silent. Telling her story over the last 20 years has helped countless people not get involved or leave NXIVM early. It hasn’t gotten her anywhere personally, but it undoubtedly has helped others. Thank you to Toni and Google for this. (Or maybe we can again thank Keith, because didn’t he and Toni invent search engines?)

– An unsung way that Toni has helped is by allowing the NXIVM inner circle to have a front row seat into the mind of a lunatic. Keith was sold to everyone as a saint. Something doesn’t add up when you see your “saint” behaving as a madman. Keith showed his true colors with Toni. She was the first. For some, it was all they needed to see. For others, it was the slow beginning towards a future tipping point. I have no doubt that Kristen and many other insiders wouldn’t have left without witnessing Keith’s behavior towards first Toni and then others.

-The fact that Nancy wimped out and chose her new business over Toni’s life is an example of a decision that inner circle members were forced to make over the years. Even if you make the wrong decision (as Kristen did many times), you don’t feel good about it and most people want to ultimately make amends. I’m still betting on Nancy coming around. Her life literally depends on it. We all know what Nancy really needs to do in order to heal. It’s one HUGE ass music stand that Nancy’s been carting around for 20 years and he (it) needs to go.

> And 20 years later, he is still attacking her. < Yes. Keith is a petty man, in the end, that's all. A petty, small-cocked and banally evil man. He has destroyed so many women! Too many women have died because of Raniere! Toni risked her very life – her corporeal existence – when she denied Keith his homage that he needs in order to feel human, in order to experience life as a human being. Demonics, having giving themselves over to Evil, lose that capacity first! The capacity to feel human – the capacity to love is lost first, but the overall capacity to experience one's own humanity and that of others is the biggest loss. The possessed miss that the most. These demons can live without love. But, not humanity. That's what drives Keith forward, propelling himself and his followers downward — the need to recover the humanity that had to be given up when one first conceded to evil doing is a perpetual chase for Raniere – he seeks to experience it again as a "vampire" for lack of a better word, feeding off the humanness his subjects and slaves still retain, not having fully or as fully given themselves over to the darkness, the dark world that he inhabits. Keith is addicted to his slaves and fans far more than they are to him. It's disgusting.

About the Author

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
