  • I cannot imagine what it must be like for parents who have children inside this, cult. Those getting branded, those sleeping with the Vanguard, getting restricted, diets, who when visiting home have to rush to their phones in fear of missing a check in. Watching them,go deeper into debt or watch their trust funds go down to zero.
Knowing there is nothing legally one can do to save them,as their child’s minds are constantly being brainwashed.
There is hope as some do get out, it just take time and different things to awaken their minds, souls and hearts back to their true selves. For each it’s something different that stirs that awakening.
Until than there are many who hold both mother and daughter in our thoughts & hearts. We will continue to work to expose what is,true and destroying people within & who have left this organizations.
More some forward everyday. It now, just a matter of time before Raniere does what he did with CBI, let it self destroy via his actions.

  • After reporting on branding, article names celebs who have nothing to do with branding. Is it intentionally misleading to hype the story?

“One source, a former member of NXIVM, also reports that some women have had the initials of former Smallville actress Allison Mack branded onto their bodies.
In addition to fellow actress Kristin Kreuk who has been tied to the group, many other celebrities and business people have been associated with NXIVM, including billionaire Richard Branson and actress Linda Evans.”

  • Be sure to watch the whole 10 minute video (with a commerical interruption) on peopletv.com not just the 2 minute shortie:

I easily recognize Knox Woods when India was saying hello to the folks back home. Allegedly she lived with Michelle Hatchette, Souki, and Dr Danielle Roberts at the townhouse owned by Allison Mack (7 Generals Way see Instagram https://www.instagram.com/ancientgrain/). That unit is listed for rent (at least it was on Sunday when a neighbor checked the listing out) I have not seen her in the area or out on any walks so perhaps she is holed up over on Oregon Trail now.

My heart goes out to you Catherine. I applaud you for allowing your message to be filmed and communicated so that as many people as possible see how dangerous NXIVM is at its inner core. Bonnie is a rock star in my eyes for conveying her concern to Catherine.

  • I think Raniere’s diet instructions – and his recommendation that cancer patients use Rational Inquiry instead of chemo-therapy – amount to practicing medicine without a license. At least that’s what my complaint to the NYS Department of Health is going to say.

BTW, the NXIVM cafe at 455 New Karner Road in Colonie, NY was reported as an unlicensed operation to the Albany County Department of Health back in 2005. Have to believe that Albany County DA David Soares intervened to prevent it from being shut down way back then.

  • I fast during the month of Ramadan – during which I don’t eat from dawn to sunset – and yet I still manage to take in well over 800 calories per day.

This diet is just absurd. It doesn’t build character. It builds lethargic, skinny, frail, and malleable women who bend to the will and whims of a narcissist.

  • There are other women reported to have stopped having their periods due to extreme dieting in this organization.. But at least their building character..

About the Author

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
