Trump’s Campaign Revitalized His Proposal to Nationalize Potentially Dangerous 5G

President Trump’s campaign is reviving its proposal to nationalize 5G, which means that the government will build 5G “small cell” infrastructure and rent access to wireless carriers. Trump first suggested the plan in early 2018, but it met with strong resistance from the FCC, the telecom industry and Congress.

The plan was dropped shortly thereafter, and the Air Force official who authored it was removed from the National Security Council and left the White House.

Several rationales have been used to justify the plan, including the alleged need to win the race to 5G over China; establish a national high-speed wireless internet network; provide rural America a breakthrough in quality of life and economic growth; and promote the US economy by building a massive infrastructure just like the buildout of the national highway system in the 1950s.

However, when the main concern regarding China is national security and providing a secure network, promoting 5G as a tool to beat China and address cyberespionage seems counterproductive, as the main problem with wireless networks is, in fact, cybersecurity. Wireless networks can be easily hacked. A better solution is to provide fiber optics to the home.

Fiber optic infrastructure has been deployed in many rural areas across the country and has already been paid for by taxpayers. Nevertheless, in many cases the fiber optic network hasn’t been connected to the homes; instead it has been used to connect cell towers.

Fiber optic infrastructure would provide a safer, faster and healthier solution.

5G has been promoted as an economic booster, and it is supposed to be an infrastructure for the Internet of Things, driverless cars and “smart cities.” However, the voices within the telecom industry that consider the 5G hype to be false are growing and some even say that it is perhaps “a scam perpetrated by an industry desperate for growth.”

One thing is certain: the deployment of 800,000 5G “small cell” antennas near homes and interconnecting 50 billion more radiation-emitting devices, as this current plan dictates, is going to result in a health crisis. In fact, widespread sickness already exists. Ignoring the evidence is merely going to increase the size of the problem.

  • The author is lying. LOL

Providing little-used DoD spectrum to commercial industry is not anywhere near the same thing as nationalizing 5G: https://www.ctia.org/news/blog-2018-wireless-policies-set-stage-for-americas-5g-readiness LOL

Note the lying author didn’t provide a single reference to Trump trying to nationalize 5G, only an old story about a guy who was fired for recommending it. LOL

You can bring fiber all of the way to the home, but people like to use their cell phone, tablets, laptops, etc., without being tethered to a wire. LOL

Wireless networks cannot be easily hacked, 256-bit AES encryption and other techniques makes that virtually impossible. LOL

It is NOT “certain” that 5G will cause health problems and there is no solid science proving that. LOL

  • Very good points. I think Trump just wants the best for the US, and this is a complex issue. However, it is always best to err if need be on the side of caution. 5G has been pushed by sententious journalists who tell people to shut up if they write like this on Frank Report. I never knew about the option of the optics in the homes, this can be an alternative. People need to speak up. I have candidates in NY like Daby Carreras listening, especially as his district, Harlem, is where they rolled out 5G with no debate from the locals.
And it is there that the corona virus took a large toll.

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
