Pleasantville, New York – In a high-stakes standoff, three teenagers—Mia, Matthew, 16, and Sawyer, 13—resisted their father Chris Ambrose’s attempts to bring them back to his Connecticut home tonight forcibly.
The drama unfolded in the tranquil village of Pleasantville, New York, where the teens sought refuge with a family friend.

Chris Ambrose won’t let his children live with their mother or allow them to be happy anywhere. He wants them all to himself.
Local police and CPS workers enlisted by Ambrose arrived at the suburban house, ordering the children to pack their bags and get in the car with their father to go home.
Earlier this year, the teens had fled their father’s home in Madison, Connecticut, leveling allegations of physical and sexual abuse.
A Connecticut Family Court ruling on August 8 severed their contact with their mother, leaving them vulnerable and homeless.
A happy Mia, 17, Matthew, 17, and Sawyer, 13, when they escaped from their father last summer.
Mia, Matthew and Sawyer — have had no respite from their father’s relentless pursuit for years – except a short interval when they lived with their mother.
Initially taking shelter with their maternal grandfather in Rhode Island, the teens were forced to move again following threats from Ambrose. They found temporary sanctuary in Pleasantville, only for their father to track them down and stage a confrontation.
Three Mount Pleasant police officers and Child Protective Services ended their short-lived peace as police and social workers entered the residence, dismissing the teens’ claim that attorneys represented them in Connecticut juvenile court in their efforts to emancipate from their father.
The officers issued an ultimatum: “You can’t stay here. It doesn’t matter, your attorney doesn’t matter, you understand?”
Mia responded, “Sure. But I’m not going back. I’ll go anywhere else but back to him.”
A second officer upped the ante with intimidation tactics. He warned that any alternative placement would expose them to significant dangers, including physical and sexual abuse, and likely separate the siblings due to age.
The officer said:
“… You’re going to wind up… with some of the worst kids in the world. And you might not be together. You’d be separated because of your age… So the three of you are not going to be staying together. You’re going to be in Pleasantville Cottage School, or one of these other places that are a complete shit hole.
And you’re gonna get beaten, raped and abused on a daily basis. I promise you that because we take the reports there every day. The kids are, it’s horrible, and that’s what they do. They’re going to place you there until they find out what to do with you. And these are the worst places in the world.”
Despite the chilling ultimatum, the standoff extended over hours.
While Ambrose waited outside in his car, the teens recounted their alleged experiences of abuse by their father.
Mia said, “He sexually abused me. He emotionally abuses me….He tried to hit me with the car multiple times”.
Sawyer said, “He molested me. He touched my penis. I’m not going back with him.”
Matthew said, “He’s told me that the police are going to pull me out in a stretcher. I’m not going back.”
Despite repeated efforts by police and social workers, which alternated with threats and persuasion, the stalemate remained unbroken. Finally, officers retreated, admitting they lacked a court order to remove the teens.
“We’ll be back tomorrow morning,” an officer warned. “Your father will have a court order to take you.”
As the authorities left, Ambrose was seen revving his car before speeding away.
His persistent efforts, described by some as “obsession,” leave the fate of his estranged children hanging in the balance.
Ambrose sought to have the kids go home with him or have the court place them in the Pleasantville Cottage School - a juvenile home for troubled youth. He declined to let them live with family or friends.

That may be true, and it is heartbreaking to know that kids in our “civilized cities” endure such abuse, but the Ambrose children have plenty of friends and family willing to take them in, if the father would just stop harassing them. It doesn't make sense that their only options are to be abused by their father or social services when they have a loving mother and supportive friends. They even want to go to school! Why should they be punished when they've done nothing wrong?

He enforces a curfew, doesn’t allow statutory rape to occur under his roof, won’t allow them to take the car without a license, limits their internet use, and prohibits locks on the bedroom doors. This is blatant abuse and nothing any decent, self respecting teenager would want if there’s another parent promising a lenient lifestyle. No doubt that even the group home will be much better than living with boundaries imposed by a strict father.

Suppose the kids need to learn that the law is real, and there are legal consequences for actions? Such as if you do not show up to your custody hearings, and you violate court orders again, and again, and again, you will not get custody, even if you want that custody?

Instead, they blame the non-abusive parent for falsely and maliciously planting ideas in the heads of the children, effectively protecting the alleged abusers.
Linda Gottlieb runs Turning Points. She is not a psychologist or psychiatrist. She is merely a social worker who has taken it upon herself to attempt to “cure” children who claim to have been abused by a parent. When a judge orders a child to Turning Points, that judge hands total power over to Gottlieb to impose sequestration periods wherein the “alienating” parent is not allowed to see the children. Those 90-day periods take effect after her four-day “therapy” program.
Gottlieb has unfettered power to extend that sequestration period, and she wields it viciously. She requires the “alienating” parents to “prove” that they have been rehabilitated before she allows reunification with the children. (Some men have been victims of this program too, but none would speak on the record) …

The three police officers and the DCF workers should call Connecticut Children’s Hospital to ask to see the intake notes from December 2, 2020 and they should ask what happened to the appointment scheduled for December 15, 2020. They should ask why Ms. Grossman placed all three children with the identified perpetrator on April 24, 2020 and they should also ask why Mr. Ambrose wouldn’t allow the children to see family, friends, their pediatrician and Dr. Stubbe after April 24, 2020. They should also call Attorney Nikola Cunha and ask her what she knows about the corruption in Connecticut family courts.

Unfortunately they have absolutely no jurisdiction in CT. They could have shown the cops and DCF hard proof of horrific abuse. If it didn’t occur in NY they could only forward it to CT officials. They we’re probably told by some social worker to turn the kids over to DCF or Chris. I don’t think the cops or DCF had the authority to remove them. Thats why they just left. If I were to show up from out of state and go ask the Mount Pleasant police to go with me to a Mount Pleasant citizen’s house and pick up three teens that ran away from my house elsewhere, would they help me?
And once they arrived and were told by my runaways that they ran away because they were being physically and sexually abused, that the logical thing they would do is still try and convince the teens to go with me?
They wouldn’t have a duty to investigate the physical and sexual abuse being reported?
Rather than investigating they spent apparently HOURS trying to convince them to go with the man they are reporting is abusing them?
Wouldn’t it speak volumes that they’d rather go liters anywhere else (up to and including a place they’re assured they’ll get beaten and raped?)
That’s the part that gets me.
If I was one of those officers the moment one of these teens reported that to me, there’s no way I would then spend hours trying to convince them to go with him.
Who pays for these HOURS for these officers who were doing the bidding (and apparently bullying) of Chris Ambrose? What about the HOURS of the DCF workers? Did Chris Ambrose and his friend Benjamin Franklin pay for those HOURS? I doubt it. The same parents who he blamed for his crimes after being found guilty of 17 counts, including the three homicides, and sentenced to death.

Connecticut state lawmakers and members of the state’s Republican Party are demanding a formal inquiry into the Short-Term Assessment & Respite (STAR) Home in Harwinton. The emergency shelter for teenage girls was the subject of a recent investigation from CII Senior Investigative Reporter Marc Fitch, published on Sunday.
The story, which documented a series of concerning events centered at and around the STAR Home, seems to have struck a chord with state lawmakers, who sent letters on Wednesday to both the Chairs of the General Assembly’s Committee on Children and leadership at the Department of Children and Families (DCF), which oversees the home.
In these letters, the lawmakers demand the committee hold an informational hearing on the matter and call witnesses, including DCF Commissioner Vanessa Dorantes (and staff), Bridge Family Center representatives (who manage the home), and Harwinton municipal and emergency services officials.
The letters are signed by House Republican Leader Vincent Candelora (R-North Branford), Rep. Lezlye Zupkus (R-Bethany), Sen. Henri Martin (R-Bristol), Rep. John Piscopo (R-Harwinton), and Committee on Children Ranking Members Sen. Lisa Seminara (R-Avon) and Rep. Anne Dauphinais (R-Killingly).
“These are very dangerous incidents that are alleged to have occurred, impacting the young clients at the STAR facility, its staff, and our first responders. Harwinton is a rural town with limited resources. The constant efforts required to address these reported issues have made it difficult for local officials to continue to serve the rest of the community,” said Piscopo in a statement. “In order to curb this alarming trend, I support a full-scale review of facility operations.”
Among the incidents reported at STAR include numerous inappropriate sexual relationships between adult staff and minor residents, sexual assault between residents and by staff, stolen vehicles, and violent assault both on staff and by staff. …Trooper Kenny also alleged that Bridge Family Center actively encouraged staff not to report incidents to authorities. …“

The school, police and therapists found them safe. The only person who contacted dcf was Ambrose.

3. Conway already suggested if mom in contempt shed have to appear in person. Why on earth would a judge make such a suggestion unless she intended for it to happen?
4. Why is Conway dragging out the cases? They were filed in April. It’ll be October and she’s allowing a second motion to strike.
5. Why has 6 months passed and Conway allows Ambrose to fuck over wife in family court? They’re working hard to dirty up the record- and try to criminally convict an innocent mother.

As crazy as it sounds, does your basement have a walk out ? If so why don’t you live only downstairs and let your family have the house? Be productive and write something good while you’re down there.
That’s what a father who cared about his kids and had their best interest at heart would do.
It’s what a good man would do.
Forgive your ex. Heal yourself, immerse yourself in some self improvement and growth and move on. Hopefully with some folks still standing by you.
This court battle, the restraining order, etc is a huge time, money, and love vampire and it’s bleeding you, those you love and who love you even more dry. All of it could end up working out for good in some way if you could see it through a different lens.
Time heals all wounds. Even these type of wounds. Dig deep take the high road here and turn this situation around by helping your family rather than trying to hurt them because you are hurt. You hold the keys.
I hope to one day soon to log on to a miraculous headline about how happy your kids are and it’s entirely possible for that to be the case depending on what you choose to do next.

So instead of helping those kids being abused, they USE that abuse to terrorize and threaten other abused children who are temporarily safe. THIS is our “justice system”? This is our “free country”? Good point. He’s filed motions for a court order to take the kids from the moms home. The judges wouldn’t order that.
In writing he said he wanted them physically removed from safe haven with mother.
No one would do it until he got judge O'Neillto order a year long restraining order to force the kids from her home.
That’s not the purpose of an RO. Another payoff by Ambrose who hired Alex Cuda to do his dirty work as mom was pro se. Horrific.

Their relative has strong roots and a great reputation in Clarkstown NY. They are safe with him but Ambrose has stated he will have them physically taken and forced back into his care –
The kids live in fear. Until NY CPS steps up and does an objective assessment and declares them to be at risk, Ambrose will not stop.
Rhode Island CPS were fine leaving the kids in the care of the grandfather but CT will not relent bc the father has bought off the court.
Dcf records have been filled with lies and tainted. CT DCF found the kids were unsafe in his care but after a night in foster care they forced the kids back with their abuser for more years of isolation and torment.

Chris Ambrose creates these dramas. He has the psychopathic ability to get those in positions of power to abuse his kids and ex wife. This is how the kids have been treated by cops and dcf since 2020! Please continue to follow.
Ambrose has buried the kids with his lies and discredited the mother and the kids with court vendors.
They’ve made the same complaints for three years – they’ve bravely told the truth only to be betrayed by those paid to protect them.
Wait until the full story unfolds. The kids realized no one would help so tried to survive and secure evidence for the day they ran to freedom.
The CT courts – judge Oneill has done everything to keep them away from safety. NY DCF needs to independently investigate. Leave court out if it.
There is plenty of evidence and three teens are not subjecting themselves to this brutality as a joke. They have been abused by their father for years- forced to live with him.
But the treatment of these officers is similar to the treatment of select Madison CT police officers- Mia ran in 2021 and was subjected to similar brutality.
Frank has all the evidence. The kids need the public’s protection. The mom was left with mo money and with a bullshit RO that forces the children from her, she cannot help them.
They need public outrage and support to make sure they are protected. They are brown with a white wealthy father. Many feel they should be thankful just to have been adopted. The schools, the police, dcf have all been conned by Ambrose.

Who came up with that plan and why? Someone told them something. If you want to know for sure, FOIA Connecticut and New York records to find out who said and did what, when, where, why and how.
The Chief, Bureau Chief, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief, Inspector, Deputy Inspector and Captain probably never even heard of the case. The Lieutenant and Detectives probably weren’t involved either.

Where is the militia? Our 2nd amendment right is to protect ourselves from tyranny.
