Today is Keith Raniere’s birthday. He turned 65, a milestone that qualifies most Americans for Social Security. In his case, the benefit is unavailable — a technicality of federal law that suspends payments during incarceration.
He resides now in Tucson, Arizona, in a gated community. For several years, this has been his home.
The Glory Days of Vanguard Week

In previous years, his followers had been accustomed to a royal celebration of his nativity. The venue was located in Lake George, within the Adirondack Mountains. It was called Vanguard Week, and it was a matter of some pride that he referred to himself as Vanguard.
The celebration was not confined to a mere seven days of a typical week but stretched luxuriously to ten. Followers paid $2,000 plus for the privilege of gathering, to glimpse the leader, to participate in the atmosphere he created, and if they were a young and slender woman, to obtain personal instruction from him in one of the cabins scattered on the campgrounds.
They sang, they performed, they offered their talents. He treated at least a dozen young, slender, long-haired ladies to his carnal appetites.
He made a practice of appearing only on the third day, which lent the occasion a certain liturgical grandeur.
NXIVM: Movement or Cult?

From 1998 to 2017, Keith Allen Raniere ran a self-help group called NXIVM. Those years had their brilliance. Some labeled NXIVM a movement, others a community. The grosser among us labeled it a cult.
He told his followers that “he who has the most joy wins.”
When the Joy Shifted

For reasons best known to himself, in 2011, he decided to change the quality of his joy when he prompted his ardent follower, Clare Bronfman, to file a criminal complaint against me, sparking an FBI investigation that lasted four years.
The purported reason was that, in the process of collecting $26 million of ill-spent investment by Clare and her sister, Sara Bronfman — both NXIVM followers —I had exposed him as perhaps not the infallible investment advisor.
The real estate project in Los Angeles had run amok. I went out there as a consultant for the Bronfmans, and recovered $26 million for which they paid me $1 million — a fractional percentage of the amount I had collected.
I then proposed that I try to recover another $65 million they had invested in a failed commodities project—an investment recommended by Raniere.
The Counterattack: My Indictment

Raniere and Bronfman were successful in getting an indictment against me in 2015. And once indicted, I started a website called the Frank Report, which exposed the world of NXIVM.
My stories led to The New York Times writing a story, which in turn alerted the prosecutors of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.
I wrote about 5,000 stories about Raniere, and I want to give a tip of the hat to some of the people who helped me expose the grandmaster, such as Catherine Oxenberg, Sarah Edmondson, Mark Vicente, Susan Dones, Kristin Keeffe, Daniela Fernandez, Nicole Isbel, Alejandro Junco, Barbara Bouchey, Toni Zarratini, and others.
The Fall of Vanguard

After I had exposed him, and the New York Times reported that I had done so, Raniere fled to Monterrey, Mexico, in late 2017. I found out and published his whereabouts. He moved to Puerto Vallarta. I alerted the FBI, who used my reports to get a search warrant. Off they went, and the world’s most intelligent man was held by Mexican federal police and deported from Mexico in the spring of 2018.
His trial took place in 2019. He was convicted after a six-week trial of sex trafficking, forced labor conspiracy, racketeering, and other crimes and sentenced to 120 years.
Appeals, Denials, and the SHU

He claimed the FBI planted child pornography on a hard drive — maybe his, maybe not; maybe planted, maybe not. However, the 2nd Circuit rejected his appeal, and the Supreme Court failed to entertain it.
Because he was more than just a tiny thorn in the side of the warden and correctional officers at USP Tucson, they placed him in the SHU, where he spent quite a good deal of time. The last lady he had in close quarters, whom I interviewed, was Toni Fly, an intersex individual whom BOP decided was male but who presents as female. Raniere spent six glorious months with this lady, his last slave in a long line of slaves.
The Loyal and the Fallen

He remains in Tucson with about 96 years to go on his sentence. Clare Bronfman, who joined him in his legal battles, got an 81-month sentence and has recently been released from custody, now on probation.
She remains faithful to Raniere — her leader, mentor, guide, philosopher, friend, and investment advisor.
Bronfman’s sister, Sara, fled the U.S., left her husband, and took up with a Portuguese male beauty in distress, and has not returned to the USA.
Nancy Salzman completed her prison term. Lauren Salzman got only probation; she became a dog groomer. Allison Mack completed her sentence and recently married a man named Frank, whose last name she did not disclose to the media.

For 20 years, Raniere reigned supreme in Albany, suing the bejesus out of anybody who crossed him or even tried to escape. Raniere had hundreds of victims. Judge Nicholas Garaufis said as much when determining his sentence.

Happy Birthday, Keith
Today is his birthday. He’ll have 96 more years, should he live, and will be 159 when he is released, followed by five years of probation.
There are still a handful of people who support him and believe in his greatness. Around 2021, they were still holding “Vanguard Week” birthday celebrations, but numbers had dwindled from 500 or 600 attendees to about a dozen.
Unlike the Branch Davidians or Jim Jones, his people didn’t die. There was no mass catastrophe. I exposed him, the Times followed, the DOJ indicted, and a jury convicted him before anything could happen.
Happy birthday, Keith. May you live long and enjoy the best of life. You’ll walk free in the year 2120 and restart NXIVM again. I have faith that you will.

RE Kieth Raniere Story:
A few questions for the author:
—Clare Bronfman, to file a criminal complaint against me, sparking an FBI investigation that lasted four years.
How much money did Clare contribute to political campaigns or *PACs to influence the FBI’s four-year investigation into author?
—Mark Vicente and Kieth shared many kisses in the French Style.
Is Mark Vicente the only man who Keith kissed? Did Mark smell the “it’s official smell” emanating from Keith’s Beard?
—You’ll walk free in the year 2120 and restart NXIVM again
Kieth can shave a few years off his sentence for good behavior.
Would it be so bad if he got out in 2117?
—Happy Birthday, Keith
Did the author send Kieth a birthday card?
***
Why did the author not post a picture of Keith in his birthday suit?
Show off his hairy chest!
Take care!!!
My baby daddy will be free soon! Mi papa and I are working on his appeal.
ALL Frank Report heathen will burn in hell!!
Frank, do you really believe Raniere deserves 100+ years in prison? I’m throwing you a softball question and I hope you can respond seriously.
I believe he’s a liar, a fraud, a manipulator, a criminal who scammed people, an a-hole that tried screwing you and by others turning the legal system against you and that he had sex with a 15 year old girl; but what has he done to deserve 100+ ? Most people would have got 10 to 25 years maximum for the crimes he committed and the sentences would not have been stacked.
I realize you take great fun in satirizing the plight of Raniere but I’d appreciate an honest appraisal of the situation.
Thanks,
WS
The short answer is no. I will write a post for a more nuanced answer.
Might want to remove a name or two from this article before you get a letter from some angry attorneys, Frank.
What names?
The Jane Doe you reference
Sent it onto the attorneys…they will be in contact. Should have just removed the name of the Jane Doe
That’s a good idea. Let the attorneys handle it. I do mot believe in anonymity for accusers any more. Unless they are children. I’ll publish any accuser’s name (unless they are underage.)
One more thing: I as a journalist with First Amendment protection are not bound to Jane Doe designation. That is only within the courtroom and court filings.
Certainly what I expected you to say…as only reputable journalists honor Jane Doe designations out of professionally ethics, respect for privacy and to avoid interfering with court proceedings but let’s be honest…you are bottom feeding “journalist” with absolutely zero integrity. Good day sir!
The court proceedings are long over.
True but some of these people are still dealing with the trauma and bull shit that happened to them. Your lack of empathy is palpable. You think being brainwashed blackmailed, raped and branded is an easy experience to get over? But hey…anything for a few clicks to my shitty website right?!
Brainwashed? What is that? Raped? Raniere was not charged with rape. Branded – well let me ask you – were you branded? Blackmailed that is the closest to reality – but we are talking about adults here with the sole exception of Camila who was a child at the time. I think the victim mentality and anonymity does women more harm than good. It also permits women to lie knowing there is no accountability and is prejudicial to the jury.
You really are as stupid as they say. Let’s not play word games. ‘Brainwashed’ is exactly what happened—psychological coercion, manipulation, and isolation are textbook cult tactics. ‘Raped’? Consent obtained through coercion, blackmail, or abuse of power is not consent…call it what you want, the law and common sense recognize it as rape. Branding? Yes, women were physically branded like cattle. And no, you don’t get to diminish that by asking if every single survivor was personally branded—it happened, and it was a deliberate act of ownership and degradation.
The fact that Camila was a child underscores the pattern—if he’ll prey on a minor, what do you think that says about his treatment of adults under his control? Adults can be manipulated, threatened, and blackmailed into compliance—pretending otherwise is willful ignorance.
And your take on anonymity and accountability? Survivors of sexual coercion, abuse, and cult exploitation don’t owe you their names or faces to validate their trauma. Suggesting that anonymity ‘lets women lie’ is a tired, misogynistic smear meant to silence victims. What actually does harm is minimizing abuse and pretending it didn’t happen because it makes you uncomfortable. You are a fucking clown, Frank.
Bbrainwash is very real and you are thr proof. It must be hard to have a weak brain. I like your idea that the government gets to decide when someone has a guilty brain or a victim brain. Please get your brain dirty again. It’s been washed too well. I’ll help you.
lol what an insanely idiotic comment. Im sure I need help from some half cooked boomer blog writer that has nothing better to do than write crap AI generated articles about the scum of the earth on the internet all day. You are what you eat, Frank and you sir..eat dog shit all day and look what you produce…absolute filth content that serves no value to anyone on this planet. Your obituary will read something like………”was here”….anyways…good luck with it all I guess.
Civil…dumb dumb
Frank,
You’re a rat bag. A flimsy plastic sack full of rat crap left out on the curb. A human container for all the crap you dish out.
And Keith? Keith never deserved what he got. That’s the real injustice, isn’t it? The decent people get it in the neck, and the rat bags just keep on scurrying.
But don’t get too comfortable. The universe keeps a tally. You’ll get it back in ten, Frank. And believe me, it’s going to be a masterpiece.
Bitch 100%
If I tld Keith I am sorry and tell him I should have just gone to prison like he wanted and not fight him, will my karma be OK? Can you ask him?
Keith got what he deserved. He received the same treatment he tried to give others. The court has handed down the final verdict, so there’s no need for karma to restore balance. The verdict is set in stone.
Frank, you are a funking asshole. I hate you with the white-hot passion of a million sons.
There is still speculation that Nancy Salzman siphoned much cash to her sister Carole Kass. Sad no one tracked it down.
It may be more than a suspicion – but it unlikely anyone will ever know.
You would think the people suing Nancy would subpoena Carole Kass and her husband Steven Kass.
The money is probably there. Nancy and her two daughters are still being funded. Steve kass pays alot in cash too and had lots of life insurance policies paid for. The shoe boxes in his attic looked the same Nancy had. If all the ppl who went after Nancy and Keith wanted money….Nancy’s sister probably has it. Why did no one go there to get it? Nancy’s brother in law is a smart CFO of Tofutti who travels the world. He knows very well how to move money. Did glazer drop the ball? Where is glazer now? And why didn’t prosecutor retrieve the money? I feel like someone paid off someone to look the other way.
I believe Glazer retired.
The defendants just abandoned the suit when glazer retired?
I don’t know.
And why didn’t prosecutor go after the money trail?
Keith Raniere’s glasses have neither disappeared nor been broken for a long time. This is probably due to Keith’s incredible strength, which he has gained during his time in prison. No one dares to break Keith’s glasses or make them disappear anymore. Keith must have become incredibly strong. Only Master Keith can do something like that.
One only becomes strong through suffering. One becomes stronger only when one goes through something. Keith Raniere must now possess incredible strength. Perhaps he is the strongest man alive, able to take on anyone. Or does strength only refer to mental strength and not physical strength?
Perhaps Keith is spending the day performing Chopin, Rachmaninov and Bach piano sonatas for the other inmates. Or, more likely, he’s staring out of his cell’s slit window into the desert, waiting for the We Are Not As You dancers to arrive.
I believe the cultists referred to Keith as the world’s greatest problem solver. If that is true (LMAO!), how come Keith cannot solve the problem of escaping from his captivity?
He’s working on it right now.
In his past life, he was The Professor from Gilligan’s Island.
It’s all still a work in progress. There is strength in calmness. And Keith has time. After all, Keith has a plan that others don’t have, and that’s a decisive advantage. It’s just that the others are too slow on the uptake to understand Keith’s plans.
Is Keith planning to dig a tunnel and meet Clare and Suneel in Mexico to play chess ala Andy Dufrense?
Will Clare or Suneel be refinishing the boat? I wonder if Suneel will be wiping Clare’s ass on the beach?
If I’m not mistaken, he employs the same method as in Escape from Alcatraz.
Frank, do you ever worry that Kieth and Clare will come after you again? All they have is money and time on their hands. I doubt they would dumb enough to, but then again, Clare is a fucling dumbbell with the IQ if pocket lint.
Also, why does the vertical bar stop at Kieth’s left eye? Is there symbolism at play or just AI generate blip?
No I do not worry about them at all. They tried it once. It fialed. Let them try again if they like. It was an AI blip but I liked it. I could have added the bar on photoshop or instructed AI prompt to complete the bar. While the main image is AI I did add Keith’s real eyes to the image in trubute to his all seeing vision. He saw me in prison and there he be!
I got some pics please add photo option back I’ll never do naked again
There was just a minor mix-up about who Keith saw in prison in his prophecy. I suppose that can happen when you’re nearsighted and cross-eyed. Had Keith put on his glasses, he might not have made this mistake and would have known he was going to prison himself. However, there might be another reason: it’s the little weaknesses, such as emotions and illusions, that ultimately prevent you from recognizing reality. This shows once again that Keith has “issues” and needs “intensives.” Keith unwittingly confirms that he is not perfect. If Keith wants to be a god, which god is actually imperfect? That’s a contradiction in terms.
You’ve clearly done your research, and it shows.
Damn it, you’re right!
You are clearly annoying and it shows. Get a new programmer.
Nice summation, Frank! And who can forget the great food poisoning festival? My favorite moment (and highly symbolic) moment in NXIVM history!
Viva Executive Success!
Lol! I remember that! 300 Espians caught dysentary and ran around with explosive diarreah for 10 days! Doc. Roberts and Porter-Potty did not report it to the board of health, even though they were mandated reporters. They say that was the “shittest” V-Week of all time.
My question is, was that the first time Suneel wiped Clare’s ass? Or was it after her injury when he stayed with her, lowering her onto the toilet then wiping her ass then lifting her off the toilet? Then she thanked him by cooking him lunch. He wiped her ass for three weeks, she is worth $300 million and she cooked him vegetables as a thank you…
I don’t know if Suneel was at the Vanguard Week.
Good question, Pilgrim. Suneel would have been an ass wiping machine at V Week given the rampant bouts ox explosive diarrhea. Perhaps that is where he received his “calling.”
Agreed. Seems he “caught the bug”, as they say.
Revoking someone’s medical license for failing to report an outbreak of diarrhea, in which they were an attendee and not a doctor on call, sets a precedent for other medical professionals.
Meaning that at any time, any medical professional can have their license revoked over trivial bullshit.
Was it worth throwing Danielle Roberts under the bus, knowing what it can, and most likely will, lead to?
Kevin,
Roberts and Porter-potty are Mandated Reporters in NY State. They are required to report things like this (yes, even diarreah).
Danielle Roberts had a chance to keep her medical license. Sara Edmonson offered to withdraw her complaint to the medical board, if Danielle renounced Vantard. Danielle refused and lost her license. She made her decicion.
Danielle did more bad things than just failure to report. Danielle deserved prison too. But like Lauren and Michelle, she cut deals to rat out others to save her own hide.
What did Michelle do that was illegal? (you continually being unable to tell us one thing she did wrong doesn’t help us believe your one-person mission to reveal a Cass/Salzman moneybag trail)
What a helpful and well-structured post. Thanks a lot!
Yes, I can’t help but agree.
I wasn’t expecting to learn so much from this post!
You have alwaqys had low expectations. You should talk to Snorlax some time. He overcame it.
that’s your but buddy? lubelax is his zip code
Your content always adds value to my day.
Yeah I know, it is boring in prison.
