From Apple to Orgasm:
Techie-Turned-Tantra Guru Now DOJ Tool

Jennifer Bonjean cross-examined Christopher St. John Kosley — the federal witness.

“You were working at Apple when you started associating with OneTaste, correct?”

That’s how it started. No accusation. Just a reminder: this wasn’t a lost soul plucked from poverty. This was a tech professional who chose to walk into OneTaste and stayed for a decade.

He moved in, joined the community, worked the camera, edited the footage, and taught. He didn’t get lured in. He quit Apple.

He taught classes: Intro to OM, Mastery and Taboo.

Q             Do you remember what … you taught as part of the Taboo course?

A             I mainly taught about BDSM.

Q             You had a ‘Ropes with Chris Kosley,’ right?

A             That’s right.

His partner for the demonstration? His girlfriend, Lianna Lifson.

“Was she your partner in real life?” Bonjean asked.

“I believe at the time she was also my partner,” Kosley replied.

This wasn’t cult coercion. He did rope demonstrations. He used his girlfriend in live demos. He had a camera crew.

He Filmed. He Flogged. He Forgot.

When asked about his role in a staged ritual, he said, “I don’t remember.”

“Did it involve flogging?”

Suddenly, memory snapped back like a leather whip.

“Yes.”

He described the flogger “used to create intense sensation.”

Bonjean reminded the jury of the emotional text messages Kosley wrote to Daedone about Lianna Lifson.

Bonjean said, “She was also your BDSM partner, correct?”

“Sometimes.”

Kosley was flogging his ex-girlfriend on stage in a scripted sex ritual.

He Filmed Hundreds of Hours —
DOJ Only Showed the Juiciest Minutes

He also filmed Nicole Daedone.

“She wanted the courses recorded, right?”

“Yes.”

“Her teachings?”

“Yes.”

“Her lectures?”

“Yes.”

“How many hours do you think you recorded of her giving some kind of presentation?”

“I guess in the hundreds.”

If she was the cult leader the government claims — why did she insist on a camera at every turn?

The DOJ watched every video Kosley gave them — years of teachings, rituals, philosophy — and found a few cherry-picked minutes they thought might sound sinister out of context to the jury.

But where’s the footage of Daedone barking orders? Threatening lives? Demanding servitude?  The jury hasn’t seen a single video of anyone being coerced – yet the DOJ has hundreds of hours?

DOJ’s Moral Witness Had 3 Firings

Then came the firings.

A man hired to film spiritual awakening admits he was let go multiple times — once for going on a coke-fueled van bender.

“That wasn’t the first time you got fired from OneTaste, was it?”

“No.”

“How many times?”

“Two or three.”

“And mostly drug-related, right?”

“No… one might have been.”

OneTaste had strict no-drug rules. You lived in communal housing. You participated in high-sensation intimacy practices. You needed clarity. Sobriety.

Kosley disagreed. He thought they shouldn’t “control people’s lives.”

BDSM Guru Admits to Selling Sex Tapes He Didn’t Own

Kosley handed over 1.3 terabytes of OneTaste footage — including explicit sexual demonstrations — to outside filmmakers, with no permission from Daedone, the company, or the participants.

“Do you think you owned the rights to the Stinson Beach OM demonstration?”

“No.”

“Ms. Daedone was unclothed. Her genitalia exposed?”

“Yes.”

“Filmed — for her company?”

“Yes.”

“And you gave that footage to filmmakers without her permission?”

“Yes.”

“Were you paid?”

“I was paid for footage that I owned the rights to.”

That’s the punchline.

He admits he didn’t own the rights to Daedone’s OM demo. But he took the money anyway. He sold it to Netflix.

“You had the video archive on private drives?”

“Correct.”

“You didn’t tell OneTaste you had them?”

“I barely remembered I had them.”

Bonjean didn’t buy it.

“You gave them to make a movie, right?”

“Correct.”

“Did you ask OneTaste for permission?”

“No.”

“Did you ask the students filmed in those videos for permission?”

“No.”

Kosley knew what was on those tapes. He filmed them. He didn’t protect the participants. He exploited them. No consent. No release. No warning.

“You gave the video to the filmmakers?”

“Yes.”

“It actually appeared in a film, didn’t it?”

Objection. Sustained.

“How did you know what you personally owned if you were filming on OneTaste’s time?”

“I wasn’t working for OneTaste every hour of the day.”

Kept His Arse Out of View

Attorney Jennifer Bonjean

Bonjean was reading the receipts.

Government Exhibit 3500-CK-4 — the FBI wrote that Kosley said

“What I gave to filmmakers was stuff I personally shot and owned.”

“Did you tell the FBI that what you provided to the filmmakers was material that was personally shot and owned by you?”

“No. That’s not what I said.”

“Did you communicate that what was provided was personally owned?”

“What I told the FBI was that part of the material…”

Bonjean didn’t flinch. But Kosley did not say “part” to the FBI. It was categorical.

He said to the FBI, “What I gave to filmmakers was stuff I personally shot and owned.”

Bonjean asked:

“Can you give me an example of something that did belong to you?”

“There was a party where I was dancing and I shot some video.”

That’s it. That’s the personal archive.

Explicit, sensitive footage — captured on OneTaste time, using OneTaste equipment, of OneTaste staff and students — packaged up and sold for mass distribution.

He told federal agents it was all “his.”

“You told the FBI you weren’t granting rights to OneTaste material?”

“Correct.”

“And you told the filmmakers the same?”

“Correct.”

“And they just used it anyway?”

“Yes.”

“So they distinguished between what you said you owned and what you stole…?”

Objection.

Sustained.

Of course, it was sustained. Because the word “stole” finally broke the spell.

NetFlix Bought Stolen Footage

Bonjean asked “Isn’t it true the filmmakers promised to cover your legal fees if you got sued?”

Objection. Sustained.

“When OneTaste found out you had the footage, they sent a demand letter asking you to return it?”

“Yes.”

“Did you return it?”

“No.”

“Did you tell filmmaker Sarah Gibson about that demand?”

“Yes.”

Bonjean asked

“And she told you to ignore it — isn’t that right?”

Objection. Sustained.

Bonjean: “Did you disclose to the Federal Government that you were in possession of proprietary information that didn’t belong to you?”

“I made no disclosure of any kind.”

“And no one asked?”

“Correct.”

“You understood the courses were proprietary?”

“That was my understanding, yes.”

“Did you consider that footage stolen?”

“No.”

“But you knew it didn’t belong to you?”

“Correct.”

Kosley Remembers the Paycheck

“Every bit of video we looked at in court—was that all OneTaste property?”

“No.”

“Which part wasn’t?”

“I don’t recall at the moment.”

Bonjean walked him through the footage:

  • Stinson Beach OM demo? Not his.
  • Daedone’s four-hour audio lecture? Not his.
  • Coaching Program footage? Not his.
  • Daedone lecturing from the couch? Not his.

“So what did we look at … that was yours?”

“Not that I recall at the moment.”

Now on the stand, Kosley admitted he handed over footage of OneTaste events, courses, staff, and private moments — including Daedone’s nude OM ritual — without permission.

And he got paid for it.

Bonjean asked:

“Did you provide the filmmaker with footage you yourself were in?”

Objection. Sustained.

“What did you do with video of yourself?”

Objection. Sustained.

Kosley admitted he worked with the prosecution in preparing clips from illegally obtained, unvetted, and nonconsensual footage for its case-in-chief.

The DOJ doesn’t care what Kosley filmed. Only that he turned over footage with nudity, power dynamics, and shock value.

A Grand Government Witness

A few other things point to the sterling character of Chris Kosley.

He admitted to stealing laptops from Eveo, his past employer -a felony theft. He drained his ex-girlfriend’s bank account to feed his habit. He was hired on the condition he stay sober. He took acid. Got fired.

He said he doesn’t recall the conversation that led to his rehiring. He relapsed on cocaine.

He drove a OneTaste rental van while high. He risked lives on the road. He called it “perhaps” a danger. He inserted a finger into a woman’s anus during a sexual practice without consent.

When asked if that’s what happened, Kosley said:

“I don’t recall the specifics of the incident.”

He remembered getting “a talking-to.”

He remembered being banned from group OM practice — maybe. He remembered not being fired for that violation. But he forgot whether the act was consensual.

However, the main point was that he stole sensitive videos from OneTaste. Kept and distributed explicit material showing student genitals. He lied to the FBI about ownership of the footage. He was paid for the footage anyway.

The government wants the jury to believe Nicole Daedone was a predator.

Bonjean showed them a true predator: Christopher St. John Kosley.

And that the DOJ is letting him do it again — this time from the witness stand.

Netflix unlawfully purchases copyrighted material from third parties and then funds these lawsuits for the perpetrators…and it’s always men stealing women’s property. Below is my story of how Netflix used a third party to steal my content.

It’s both obvious and sadly comical how you keep attempting to piggyback your own beef with Netflix onto this case. You’re not even remotely correct about any of the facts of what happened, yet you parrot the OneTaste groupthink version of the story.

But goodness knows OneTaste got tons of free publicity and business out the debacle they themselves created. Might as well get you some for yourself!

Oh my…there is nothing comical about copyright theft. Copyright theft is the crime of stolen property. It’s pretty obvious to most that the common denominator here is Netflix purchasing stolen content from third parties. In both out cases the third parties were men selling women’s content to Netflix.

In the netflix film Kosley was their greatest advocate. What’s troubling is OneTaste knew who he was- and what he was capable of doing— that he was a risk to others, reckless and acted beyond boundaries but they didn’t ban him from OneTaste permanently.

He was one of their main and trusted employees who has now stolen and betrayed them for personal gain.

The government is building a case with testimony from liars and should be felons.

Nicole and Rachel are guilty of running a company where they exploited others and hired employees exploited and betrayed others.

This should have been dealt with in civil court but it’s a great outcome that OneTaste is no longer operating.
