There is an active investigation by the New York State Department of Health’s Office of Professional Medical Conduct into Dr. Brandon Porter, Dr. Danielle Roberts and registered nurse Nancy Salzman.
For the two physicians, their careers may be ruined with the suspension or revocation of their licenses.
It is no secret [and has been reported in the media] that NY State is investigating Dr. Roberts and Dr. Porter. What has not been previously reported is that the state is also looking into the conduct of Nancy Salzman, a licensed registered nurse who practices a form of psychotherapy called Exploration of Meaning.
It is also reported that she claims to have cured various ailments in non standard medical ways.

Thank God these demons are being reined in by enforcement agencies. They should never again be allowed to profit off dispensing evil misery and abuse to women.
Happy st. Patricks day to all!
Heres a great song about a wicked auld hag called Nancy!

I wonder how the state of Wisconsin, where Danielle Roberts is in residence at the Ozaukee campus of Columbia – St. Mary’s Hospital in Mequon, will respond if and when the good doctor is sanctioned in New York State?
I wonder if she’d be there in the first place if they knew of the branding story. I’m certain these details were left off her resume.
One only need to check the NYS requirements for keeping one’s nursing license active.
There are CEU’s required which are most likely falsified on her renewal each year. The nursing board can require proof.
In most states, nurses are required to work a certain number of hours per month, quarterly or annually in the nursing field to keep their “skills” up to date. Salesman never did that the years I knew here.
So did she lie to the NYS Board of Licensing when she renewed each year?
She lies every time she says she was a psychiatric nurse. Maybe she meant pathological nurse,.liar that is.
I don’t think Salzman will care (her current bios are too lofty to include her decades-ago RN training), but it sure reflects nice on the credibility of NY state licensing.
“Nancy Salzman, a registered nurse, first met Raniere in the 1990s and told Natalie she thought Raniere might be warped. Natalie said Salzman spent four days holed up with Raniere in his offices and emerged as his business partner.” — from Times Union Feb 11 2012.
You should have trusted your gut, Nancy. Screwing up your own life, your decision. Screwing up her daughters’ lives, nasty stuff.
Lauren Salzman, with her naked cat instead of a child, that is just so sad. Michelle marrying another cult person (can two people juggling keith-raniere-approved narratives, ever even be real and genuine with each other?) And Michelle’s art, oof, describing it as first-year art school work is generous.
Remember the email Nancy Salzman got from Anthony Ames last year? Detailing crazy sad stuff. Prefect [fancy!] Salzman is truly a sad and self-deluding lady. NY would be wise to clearly separate “official state of NY nurse” and Nancy Salzman.
Alas, Nancy’s punishment of losing a license will not fit the crime. She hasn’t worked in a legitimate medical setting for years. so losing her license will really not hurt her much.
Does one need a valid license to perform a coffee enema or milk a prostate?
How the EM practitioner’s are allowed to practice “therapy” without a license has baffled my mind for years.
