Can’t you refer to someone as a “partner” rather than “gay lover?” It is so much more sensitive and classier. Otherwise your writing just comes across as homophobic and discredits what you are saying.
If their were true partners of the LBGT community. They are not, they are straight men who have sex with each other when it suits them. Alex is a closet gay man who is ashamed of being gay and hides the fact that he has sex with a married bisexual man. No offense intended to the LBGT community, these boys are not part of anything close to fitting into the community.
So EMI has three places he can stay in Albany?

I just wanted to say you can buy a seriously nice house there for under $2 million. But then you have to live in Albany. And Raniere and his cult mates would be your neighbors. I don’t think I would buy there. Too many crazies.
This smear campaign sometimes feels repetitive, but yeah. If I could afford a nice house like one of these ones, it wouldn’t be in Albany.
People in Clifton Park are upper middle class white bread Americans. When I think cult, I think of some huge private farm in the boonies not in these ordinary, McMansion-hoods. It makes it more surreal.
