New 4-Part Docuseries on India Oxenberg and Her Life in Nxivm to Air Sunday on STARZ – Claims She Was Raped by Raniere

From the Starz Documentary India kisses Keith Raniere.

Here are some excerpts of the Good Morning America interview with India and Catherine Oxenberg.

India Oxenberg spent nearly seven years in the organization and paid them nearly $100,000, now saying that she had been slowly brainwashed but at the time couldn’t see it while it was happening.

“That’s years of grooming. And when you’re unaware, it’s so easy to be led astray, especially by people who are masters at manipulation,” she said. “And these people were that, especially Keith Raniere. He’s a master at manipulation. If there’s one thing he’s intelligent at, it’s that. And he’s a predator.”…

India Oxenberg said that “Smallville” actress Allison Mack was the first person to introduce her to the [DOS] society under the guise of female empowerment.

“It was a trap,” she said bluntly. “And it was a ploy for Keith to enslave women for his own sexual desires.”

Her own relationship with Raniere, she said, “took a different turn and became sexual when — I was commanded to do a seduction assignment.”

“That was the beginning — of continual sexual abuse. And I didn’t see it as that at the time,” India Oxenberg explained.

“I would describe that sexual relationship as rape,” she continued.

Because of the nature of the relationship, she explained that she felt like she could not turn down what was being asked of her.

“I had given collateral, which automatically removes my choice,” India Oxenberg said. “So I did not have the option to say no. Saying no meant hurting my family or hurting my friends. And I wasn’t gonna do that.”

Her mother Catherine had a large role in getting India to leave Nxivm and DOS.

“I lived in fear for probably two years, but my faith is — has always been stronger than my fear, always,” Catherine Oxenberg said. “When I first confronted her at the end of May in 2017, I thought I could wake her up. I told her she was brainwashed and she was in a cult. And I said, ‘I know about the blackmail. And I don’t care if it’s about me — Don’t let that be the reason you stay in.'”

India replied, “I was too deeply in — I was scared. And I was confused.”

“I started working with a de-programmer who helped me tremendously,” she said. “But you have to be open to it. Like, you can’t force somebody to see the truth. They need to want to. And I didn’t want to for a long time.”

India Oxenberg said of her DOS brand “We all have metaphorical scars. I have a physical scar — but you don’t have to live with that. You don’t have to live with Keith Raniere haunting you. You can reclaim your life. You can learn from it. And you can move on. And you can heal. And you can have love. And I — I just feel so lucky that I can have that.”

Raniere gained his “intelligence” at being good at manipulation while he was in the Amway scam, the techniques being described are Amway 101 and are used by most other MLM scams as well. LOL

Do your part and copy/paste this message, including this part, all over social media (unless owned/operated by current Amway IBOs or the Amway scam company), and encourage them to do the same, and so on, à la network marketing/MLM. Also, submit a complaint to the FTC at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/?utm_source=takeaction#crnt&panel1-1 If you don’t, then you’re part of the problem. Amway has 2 major problems, and most MLMs have at least one of these issues:

1. The products are overpriced, which makes them almost impossible to sell to customers and results in Amway being an illegal pyramid: http://allmlmfacts.org/2016/05/h-r-5230-and-the-fallacy-of-mlm/ , and also according to the FTC and SEC websites and previous court decisions and settlements; and

2. The Tool Scam is hidden profit for the top level distributors only, and the vast majority of distributors operate at a net loss as a result: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0iFUaiI2hY This is RICO fraud.

For recent examples, google “FTC” along with the following companies, one at a time: FHTM, BurnLounge, Zeek, TelexFree, Vemma, Advocare, Neora, Javita, Waiora, Business For Health, and Herbalife. Make a complaint on the FTC website: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/?utm_source=takeaction#crnt&panel1-1

Although there is no federal law defining pyramid schemes, the FTC has a long and successful track record of using its Section 5 law prohibiting “unfair and deceptive” business practices to go after MLM scams: https://web.archive.org/web/20190824052752/https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/multilevel-marketing (the link was changed in late 2019, so the current page does not state this exactly the same) which states, in part, “Not all multilevel marketing plans are legitimate. If the money you make is based on your sales to the public, it may be a legitimate multilevel marketing plan. If the money you make is based on the number of people you recruit and your sales to them, it’s probably not. It could be a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes are illegal, and the vast majority of participants lose money.”

Read about these and much more at these websites: http://www.StopTheAmwayToolScam.wordpress.com and http://www.AllMLMFacts.org, and http://www.AmwayUKBlog.wordpress.com, and email stoptheamwaytoolscam@yahoo.com to help shut down Amway and other MLM scams.

Watch this video about Amway and other MLM scams, then forward it to everyone you know, except for current Amway IBOs, and encourage them to do the same. When enough people know, these scams will collapse:

It will be interesting to watch it and good luck to her and her family. What is consensual and what is not is not always easy to define. Eg my sibling had a lot of I am sure voluntary sex in the Rajneesh group with other followers (indeed you had to have a negative AIDS test in those days before going into some of their groups – free love, cult but not rape – consensual sex I would say, probably because it was standard member with standard member all well of age.

Whereas KR with anyone under age – rape under the law. KR with one of his girl friends obviously in some cases was consensual even if you were conned that it was exclusive. India – very young, mind taken over may feel after the fact like rape but might hard to prove under law. Anyway is not important now. She is out and free.

If you agree to it, it’s consensual – even if you regret it later.

If you agree to have sex with someone holding a knife to your throat, it is not consensual.

Also, it is not consensual to have sex with someone holding blackmail…even if you gave them the blackmail material.

What is important is that the lesson is learned and other people, especially people in the government who have the power to shut down these scams, are educated about the source of the manipulation – Amway. LOL

Raniere was in Amway and the techniques are Amway 101 and most other MLMs use the same techniques. LOL

In the case of Amway and other MLM scams the issues are lack of retail sales to non-distributors, i.e., customers (illegal pyramid) and massive amounts of secret profits by the top-level distributors combined with massive losses by their downline via tool scams (RICO fraud). LOL

See my comment above to do something about it. LOL

Hmmm. Until recently, India seems to have been not much different than the girl with the Life Is Good smile: one of their defenders, albeit in a more quiet way. Now, she wants to toss off the R-word at Raniere. Raniere is a lot of things, a lot of things that make his conviction and forthcoming sentencing justified, but I think India is just jumping on the bandwagon now that he has no more credibility. This makes her a little brighter than the girl with the Life Is Good smile, but not much.

For India, the Life is Good smile is possible because her family is loaded. LOL

Her family is paying for her deprogramming, many other women don’t have that luxury, so they remain f*cked up while India and the other “stars” in the HBO show, books that have been written, etc., enable them to make even more money for themselves – making all of this quite disgusting. LOL

Rape is rape. Raniere is almost certainly a dictionary definition rapist, but did he actually rape [redacted] Oxenberg?

Rape is forcing penetrative sex against the will of the victim.

[redacted] Oxenberg doing the media thing too. Back in the day, you had to be in a movie or a band or something to get famous. Now you can just be in a cult led by a pedophile who wears Harry Potter glasses and can’t get a full erection. Meh.

There is no such thing as “absolute” free speech in corporate controlled media anywhere in the world. Even governments control the dialectic when they see fit. It only exists in the unconstrained human power to say words, as there is also no such thing as free speech (or any act for that matter) without its consequences.

Regardless, yes, “rape is forcing penetrative sex against the will of the victim”, but the term “force” is not limited to physical constraints and violently forcing yourself upon the women. It can be any type of mental, emotional, psychological, etc., manipulation that is perpetrated on the victim that would make them engage in the act without volition. For example, a man who makes a woman have sex with him on the (blackmail) condition that otherwise he would kill her child.

Absolute free speech is free speech. If you don’t like it and want to attack with “consequences,” then you have a fucking war and you will not win.

Blackmail “sex” is not rape. It’s blackmail.

Rape is forced sex whether the person consents or not. The person may consent at first, then says STOP. If the other person does not stop, that is rape. Forcing someone down, threatening them with violence, is rape. Feminists have fucked the true word, ironically.

==Blackmail “sex” is not rape. It’s blackmail.

Yes, it is rape. Rape, or less emotionally loaded and more generally, sexual assault, is defined to be any non-consensual sexual act.

“unlawful sexual intercourse or any other sexual penetration of the vagina, anus, or mouth of another person, with or without force, by a sex organ, other body part, or foreign object, without the consent of the victim.” – dictionary.com

It is irrelevant whether that consent is bypassed via physical force or in some other manner that inflicts duress in the victim such that they are forced to make a choice they would otherwise not make under conditions where they face no such duress.

Blackmail forces a person to make a choice they would not make otherwise, which is the very meaning of non-consensual. Therefore, blackmail sex is indeed rape. Blackmail is illegal. Therefore, blackmail sex is also illegal.

Every court in the US will rule it as such.

Why do I get the impression this is “Spanky” aka SultanOfSix? [redacted]

All rape is sexual assault, but not all sexual assault is rape.

Rape is where someone physically forces themselves on the victim and has zero intention of not performing the sexual act on them. They will use violence or the threat of violence. Either way, the “sex” is going to happen.

Blackmail “sex” is not rape and “sex” is not guaranteed for the abuser. Any “consent” the victim gives because of blackmail, such as threats of releasing collateral, is sexual assault, but not rape.

The victim could refuse to give in to the blackmail and does not allow any sexual activity to take place. The abuser releases the collateral or whatever and rape and sexual assault didn’t happen.

If the blackmail “sex” did not work for the potential rapist because the victim refuses to back down and give faux “consent”, the potential rapist could then commit actual rape, by physically forcing the person to engage in the act anyway and they have zero choice.

This is facts and I don’t care what you say.

Muhammad was a rapist and a pedophile. Absolutely despicable creature. Aisha didn’t have a choice one way or another. Muhammad was going to violate the young girl whether she “consented” or not. Jesus would of considered Muhammad to be an evil son of Satan.

==Rape is where someone physically forces themselves on the victim and has zero intention of not performing the sexual act on them.

The definition of rape from dictionary.com was just given to you and it’s as if what it said went in one ear and right out the other. Read it again until you get it, and pay particular to the phrases “with or without force” and “without consent”. Also, it’s easier just to say with any intent of performing the sexual act on them, instead of using two negatives.

==The victim could refuse to give in to the blackmail and does not allow any sexual activity to take place.

So? Then it can’t also be sex, and rape can’t occur without a form of sexual penetration. A victim could also refuse to give into physical rape by fighting back and it not happen. That doesn’t absolve the perpetrator from attempted rape.

The key point is, it’s about consent, as any attempt at non-consensual sexual penetration is attempted rape. Blackmail takes away consent. Therefore, blackmailing someone into having sex is attempted rape.

You don’t want it to be rape because you think blackmail isn’t sufficient enough to force someone to have sex. You want to limit rape to where a person has to actually be physically forced or constrained, but the definition doesn’t support that, and neither does the example of a mother who gives into sex without fighting back under the duress of a threat to her child’s life.

==This is facts and I don’t care what you say.

You don’t seem to care what anybody says, even the law, and just because you say things are facts doesn’t make them so. It’s almost as if you were taught by a person like Raniere.

And now, someone who can’t accept the quite well established first name of ‘India’ for a girl, so she must be called “Uganda”? There is no such thing as “Turkey”.

It stems from the Ottoman Empire. It is 97 years old. The indigenous people went through mass genocide, ethnic cleansing, and forced removal. The rest were Turkified and became “Turkish”. Ethnic DNA testing is banned by the Turkish dictatorship to hide their history. White is not a social construction, but Turkish is. Another Greek tomb has been discovered in “Turkey”. The heritage is Greek, Byzantine, Roman and Armenian. Turks are thieves. Anatolia is Greek and the rest of “Turkey” is West Armenia.

Invasion, occupation, blood tax, all forms of slavery, ethnic cleansing, genocide, cultural theft and destruction, death marches, denials… The hatred Turks still have for their victims is disgusting. They have recently taken the most important church in Orthodox Christianity, the Ayia Sofia, and turned her into an evil mosque. You defend a “nation” that is the most evil that has ever existed. The Ottoman Empire was evil. “Turkey” is evil. It has been said “wherever the Turkish hoof trods, no grass grows”.

If only people like you stopped looking at white people as the face of slavery and colonization and looked elsewhere. The most powerful whites were the British, French and Spanish, who combined were nowhere near as bad as the Turks and Muslims in general.

And the irony of using the word “xenophobia”. “Xeno” and “phobia” are both Greek words. Greeks are victims of Turks.

And when Blacks took back Uganda, they forced the brown Asian minorities to leave, stealing their wealth and businesses. Uganda went broke because they are thick. Indians migrated elsewhere, many to the United Kingdom and within a decade, were making money again. Uganda is still a shithole.

Constantine made Christianity a unified religion for the Roman Empire because he wanted a common religion to unify the Empire. He chose Christianity because it was already extremely popular among the Empire, even when practiced in secret, with the Christians persecuted, for centuries. Some have speculated if he was ever a real convert, or a fake one for political reasons.

For centuries, Christians were persecuted under the Romans. They spent centuries practicing their religion in secret. The Apostles travelled all over the place converting people, including Greece and Asia Minor. The Apostles did not force anyone to convert. The Greeks converted by choice. Jews converted by choose. Pagans converted by choice. Only centuries later, after centuries of persecution under the Romans did Christianity start to dominate. By choice. That was because so many had already secretly converted to Christianity. The Eastern Empire broke off to become the Orthodox Christian Byzantine Empire, of which modern Greece stems from, having won a War Of Independence against barbaric turkish muslim invaders.

Constantine made sure Christians had their stolen property returned to them. He was essentially playing to the masses, who were secretly Christian for centuries.

Glad to see you still don’t know the difference between “your” and “you’re.” LOL

Excusez-moi. I have not read this article.

Nevertheless, what is that out standing in the field?

Oh! Never mind. That’s only Kissy-Kissy and Rapey-Rapey. Doing their thing.

FFS. Who knew that those two were so close? Allow me to ask, was it a fucking honor to be “raped”???

Do I spy a small glimmer of hope for NDNY and/or NYS charges?

Congratulations, India, regardless. We’re all battle scarred somehow and still learning.

How curious, according to the stories posted here in FR, India had relationships with Keith before DOS was formed

Poor, poor Raniere. New York extended the statute of limitations on the of filing rape charges.

If Keith thought he was fucked…He is really fucked now.

And I like that it’s coming out October 18, before sentencing. Good timing!

About the Author

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
