Rockefeller Heiress Signs Raniere’s Petition Demanding Prosecutors Sign His Affidavit

Abby Rockefeller had her name removed from the petition supporting Keith Raniere.

Abby Rockefeller, 77, the great granddaughter of John D. Rockefeller, is the latest of seven people to  sign a petition seeking to persuade prosecutors to sign an affidavit swearing that they committed no misconduct in their prosecution of Keith Alan Raniere.

Also in the group of seven is Amanda Knox who was convicted of the murder of Meredith Kercher in Italy in 2007, and then had the conviction overturned.

Abby Rockefeller is the eldest daughter of David Rockefeller and Margaret McGrath – and the granddaughter of John D. Rockefeller Jr. whose father John Sr. is widely considered the wealthiest American of all time, and the richest person in modern history.

David Rockefeller, Abby’s father, was an American banker who served as chairman and chief executive of Chase Manhattan Corporation.

David Rockefeller is Abby’s father, and John D. Rockefeller is her grandfather.

Curiously, Abbe, as a college student, embraced Marxism, the politics of Fidel Castro and ultimately radical feminism, before pivoting to ecology in the ’70s.

The affidavit that Abbe Rockefeller and others want prosecutors to sign, names federal prosecutors in the Eastern District of New York who handled the Raniere case: US Atty Richard Donoghue, and his successor, Seth DuCharme, and AUSAs Mark Lesko, Tanya Hajjar, and Moira Kim Penza, who actually tried the case, winning a conviction at the end of a six week trial on seven counts including sex trafficking, racketeering, forced labor and identity theft.

The affidavit seeks to have prosecutors swear they

  1. did not knowingly make any false or misleading statements to the public or media.
  2. did not allow any federal agents to make any false statements to the court.
  3. handled all potential witnesses properly and did not challenge any of them to change his or her opinions or beliefs
  4. never threatened any potential witness with indictment to dissuade him or her from supporting the defense.
  5. had no reason to suspect collusion or hidden financial motives among witnesses
  6. believed witnesses who stated in open court they feared for their lives.
  7. did not allow any witnesses to commit perjury
  8. never tampered with evidence.

Read the affidavit:

Like others who signed the petition in support of the affidavit, Rockefeller is not stating she believes Raniere is innocent or guilty.

As Amanda Knox explained, the petition supports the position that prosecutors should be held accountable and that a prosecutor should not object to signing an affidavit that merely requires them to attest they did not violate the law.

An epidemic of prosecutorial misconduct currently plagues America based on a lack of accountability or scrutiny of prosecutors, especially at the federal level, where conviction stats are often seen as more important that guilt or innocence.

The affidavit was written by Raniere from prison and emailed to his followers who call themselves “Make Justice Blind” (AKA “Nxivm 5”). The group consists of Nicki Clyne, Eduardo Asunsolo, Suneel Chakravorty, Michele Hatchette, and Marc Elliot.

The Nxivm-5: Marc Elliot. Suneel Chakravorty, MIchele Hatchette, Eduardo Asunsolo, and Nicki Clyne,

Their methods in handling the affidavit have been criticized as abrupt, eccentric and possibly detrimental to Raniere and the recently-sentenced Clare Bronfman who got handed a prison sentence three times longer than federal sentencing guidelines suggested.

Clare Bronfman went into court through the front door – for her sentencing hearing on September 30, 2020. She never came out,  having been remanded into custody at the end of the hearing. Photo Courtesy Daily Mail.

There is no legal obligation for prosecutors to sign an affidavit presented by a defendant or his followers, yet the Nxivm-5 demanded that prosecutors sign it by Sept. 30 [the same day Bronfman was sentenced] and stormed the DOJ offices, with a camera, to deliver the affidavit and make their demand in person.

They were turned away and, not surprisingly, none of the prosecutors has signed the affidavit.

In addition to Rockefeller, and Knox there are five other names on the petition.

The latest two are:

Susanna Choe

Susanna Choe is found online and is named as the principal officer for Peace Accelerators, and the Executive Director of The Regeneration Fund and The Unification Fund with ICV (Investment Community Visibility).

The organizations she is associated with are obscure [and the descriptions of them are a little reminiscent of Raniere’s word salad writing style – though there is no known connection between Raniere and Choe]:

Peace Accelerators is a NYC non-profit and “21st-century peace movement of ethical futurists” who self describe as “dedicated to co-creating solutions as efficiently as possible by harmonizing people, planet and technology.”

The Investment Community Visibility {ICV] of which Choe purportedly is CEO self-describes as “building a community of extraordinary individuals who, by virtue of their wealth, knowledge and caring, can advance corporate responsibility, capitalize businesses at significant levels, and influence systemic and sustainable change in the world.”

Choe describes herself as “a humanitarian and futurist with an educational background in international affairs.”

Her mission is to “evolve the planetary governance system to share resources effectively, empower humanity to collaborate for collective action”.

Another signer of the Raniere petition is Alissa Bush who, on the petition, indicates her organization is the NYC Street Theater, which was founded two months ago.

The website says, “NYC Street Theater was founded by actress, dancer, and activist, Alissa Bush in August of 2020 in response to the devastating impact of the global pandemic on the character, culture, and leadership of one of the greatest cities in the world.”

It is not known if NYC Street Theater has staged any performances or has any scheduled in the future.

Frank Report has already named the other signers of the Raniere petition:

They are:

Amanda Knox

Amanda Knox – the American woman who spent almost four years in an Italian prison following her conviction for the 2007 murder of Meredith Kercher. The conviction was later overturned.

Walter Pavlo

Walter Pavlo – a speaker on white-collar crime and federal criminal cases. He writes for Forbes Magazine and is an author of several books.

Valentino Dixon

Valentino Dixon – spent 27 years in prison for murder. He was exonerated and freed from prison in 2018 after another man confessed to the crime.

Diana Davison

Diana Davison – founder of The Lighthouse Project, a Canadian non-profit that helps people falsely accused of sexual assault and works to expose cases of wrongful convictions.

The stated goal of the Nxivm-5 is to bring public awareness to prosecutorial misconduct. The real goal is to help their Vanguard, Keith Raniere, get out of prison. So far they have gotten some publicity, mostly negative and probably heightened concerns by the judge and prosecutors that Raniere exerts a dangerous control over his followers, which will likely result in him getting not only a life sentence but an assignment to a supermax prison and solitary confinement.

The awkward behavior of the Nxivm-5 probably helped in securing extra prison time for Clare Bronfman.

Their stated goal – to bring accountability to prosecutors – is a worthy one. They have help from a group of individuals who collectively have some clout. Their biggest problem is they launched their effort based on a single convict – Raniere – who is perhaps one of the most reprehensible scoundrels in custody today.

His prosecutors may have abridged due process, maybe they did some things Raniere accuses them of doing – but that does not change the fact that he himself is a monster, solely concerned with getting himself out of his jam.

Raniere does not care one whit about prosecutorial misconduct. He didn’t care one bit that the antics of his bizarre Nxivm-5 – timed to act just as Bronfman was to be sentenced – would possibly hurt her.

He cares about getting out. It’s not going to happen and all the money of Rockefeller, Bronfman, and Salinas and the notoriety of Amanda Knox, Allison Mack or Nicki Clyne won’t change the outcome one bit.

This monster will be in prison for life.

The sooner the Nxivm-5 understand that, the better it will be for everyone.

Meantime, if they really care about prosecutorial misconduct, let us see them take up other cases and other causes.

It won’t happen. Just as the Nxivm-5, calling themselves “The Forgotten Ones” danced and twerked in front of MDC – to supposedly bring attention to the plight of prisoners – was actually done solely for one prisoner – Raniere – the Nxivm-5, now calling themselves “Make Justice Blind” – are not interested in making justice blind for all but for one rascal only.

Keith Raniere with his disciple Emiliano Salinas, son of the former president of Mexico, Carlos Salinas. Justice would have to be blind, and deaf and without a conscience, if she were to let this maniac out on the streets again.

It’s funny, while justice may be blind, in court when he sentenced Clare Bronfman, after he saw Clare try to intimidate a victim through a manipulative apology, Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis said, “I saw what you did… this judge is not blind.”

No he’s not blind. And he is going to – with his eyes wide open sentence Keith Raniere to life – with or without the affidavit.

Viva Executive Success!

Thanks, Shadow. I think they really believe that they should have made a big scandal so that Keith would not have been convicted. I don’t know if it would have worked. Frank is right that doing this now puts Keith in danger of going to a high-security prison.

Keith got very good at recruiting the children of billionaires for his affairs. He is doing it again.

Perhaps what he did not understand was that the dynamics of billionaires and their children might be different in different countries. Keith never thought that Mexican billionaires might act differently than US billionaires with their children.

Edgar Brofman did not go to the police to get Keith arrested. He could have but maybe in their culture Europeans and Americans give more freedom to their children. So he would not get as involved. Even if his Daughter were in a cult. The Mexican billionaires maybe because of their culture, felt more responsibility with their children and went the extra mile to get Keith arrested

In Mexico, it is not common to send your parents to retirement homes, whereas in the U.S. it is common. In Mexico you usually keep close with your parents for a long time, living with them usually until you are married, etc.; while in the U.S. once you reach 18 you are on your own. I am not saying either approach is better. But they are cultural differences that Keith did not take into account and that was part of his downfall. Loser

Actually, in the US, most people try to look after their parents as long as possible until just before they pass away.
Nursing home bills are about $8000 per month.
Most families can not afford that.
It’s a big reason why many estates are depleted.
As evidenced by the China virus, most residents in nursing homes only live there for 3 or 4 months before passing.
That is true even without the China virus.
In any epidemic, people in nursing homes are always the most vulnerable.

When I read that Abby Rockefeller had signed the affidavit, I smelled a NXIVM rat.
Abby Rockefeller is about 77 years old.
She is as old as Joe Biden.
I know enough about the Rockefeller family to know that Abby is a real Rockefeller.
There are been several cases of fake Rockefellers.
Con men posing as Rockefellers to swindle people.
But as far as I can tell, Abby is the real deal.
A real Rockefeller.

I emailed Frank to warn him that NXIVM had probably made contact with the wealthy Rockefellers.
And Frank filled in the important details and wrote the story.

If NXIVM is up to their old tricks, this story might serve as a cautionary warning.

At least the Frank Report has plenty of stories about Raniere and NXIVM to serve as a good caution for people.

Does anyone understand why Clare did not leave the country or fake her own death?

With that amount of money, she could easily have schemed to get out. Why didn’t anyone speak at her sentencing? I would have paid a lot of people to come and give a long story of how I have helped them etc. Like Michael Jackson did in his trial. I think Michael Jackson did abuse boys. But he was able to get people to talk highly about him.

Why didn’t Keith and Clare do that? is it that they are not as smart? They do have the money to pull something like that off.

Clare has been wearing an ankle monitor since July 2018. And while she probably could have paid to have it taken off in a way that would not trigger an alarm, it would have been dicey for her to get out of the country.

It’s a little odd that no one spoke on her behalf at Clare’s sentencing. Especially since so many of her supporters were there at the courthouse on the day she was sentenced – and especially since her mother, sister and brother-in-law had the means to do so.

Thanks for explaining!

Maybe the people directing how Clare should act really did not have Clare’s best interest in mind. I think given her billions she could have organized a scheme to remove the monitor and leave the country. How many children have not trafficked across countries? It is possible to leave without being caught. Or she could have faked her death.

It would have been dicey perhaps but she is spending now almost 10 years in prison. I think anyone else with her kind of money would have also paid people to talk well about her during sentencing. To me, this shows that likely someone who did not have Clare’s best interest in mind was directing everything and Clare, as usual, did not think. Did not reflect on what was best for her. Not thinking and being cruel cost her

Thanks for the good reports, K.R. Claviger

Virtue Signaling? This is an example of VULTURE SIGNALING.

Because NXIVM and ESP founders were vultures and parasites that feasted off the remains of people that were lost and looking to improve their lives.

Now Queef Raniere is talking about ethics and prosecution misconduct? GTFOH

Where were ethics when Queef had Dani locked up in a room? Where were ethics when Keith was making kiddie porn? There were ethics when Keith Raniere was poisoning his followers to inherit their CA$H?

Prosecution ethics? Oh please, Polly. Take the plank out of your own eye before you cast stones at a person who has a splinter in their eye.

Don’t worry Keith. You will have new roommates very shortly. El Chapo, Eric Rudolph, Unabomber, the Blind Sheik, Bob Hansen, etc, etc.

Patrick Backup (@Patrick__Backup)

“Not suprisingly, no prosecutor has signed it” – I find that very suprising actually. There is nothing in those points that any honest prosecutor couldn’t sign without any problem. So why don’t they just sign the affidavit?

This is laughable. You’re here to plead some kind of irregularity in behavior in the guise of making public officials dance like monkeys for those who usually buy it behind closed doors. Absolutely, the justice system is corrupt, broken and unequal.

The Bronfmans know that all too well, because they’ve paid to evade it and walk through the world without experiencing consequences for their vainglorious whims.
White-collar federal criminals are the most victimized? LOL. This tone deal entitled plea is going to backfire because they’re displaying the very thing they’re protesting.

This is their Charles Manson plot to start Helter Skelter and you think you’re asking intelligent questions based on systemic inequality and corruption? Sure, hon.

Nicki,

It is normal in a criminal prosecution to pressure co-conspirators to testify, either by offering enticements of leniency or by threatening more vigorous prosecution. For your master to insist this was unethical illustrates his lack of understanding of both the law and ethics.

I might add it was rather unethical of you to appear on the news lamenting your inability to spend time with your so-called spouse, Allison Mack. We all know this union is a sham, undertaken for the purposes of defying immigration law, which shows tremendous disrespect — dare we call it an ethical breach? — against those who treat marriage and immigration law seriously.

This effort is just smoke and mirrors. Cast enough doubt on the verdict and you can start to bend the truth in your favor. We see it from the White House, it does work. But in this case, these are lawyers who are sworn to uphold the law. Raniere’s defense had a chance to expose the problems listed in the affidavit, yet they chose not too. Maybe Raniere should go after his lawyers first, lol.

I doubt that Raniere’s lawyers had anything to do with the Make Justice Blind affidavit. They have to continue practicing law in the Second Circuit – and would never have sanctioned anything this stupid.

Eventually, Raniere will raise “ineffective counsel” as the basis for an appeal. But he’ll first try to prove that the trial judge committed one or more serious procedural errors before and during his trial.

None of those appeals are going to be successful…

Clav,

Raniere’s counsel was ineffective. Agnifilo was more concerned with press coverage than representing his client effectively. I interviewed him outside court 6 weeks before the KAR trial: he told me they had no chance to win; DOS was a huge mistake; and sometimes, defendants go to jail for a very long period of time. Based on that conversation, I assumed he was in the process of making a plea deal but no plea deal arose. During the trial, he presented no defense, no character witnesses, nothing. During motions in January, February and March when crucial decisions about evidence were made, he seemed more concerned about looking good in court than speaking up strategically.

Agnifilo is a charming guy; people like him; I like him but he was not the right counsel for KAR and he was not served well. I would have rather had a blue-collar, ham-and-egger type lawyer who was gritty, honest, hardworking and relentless to get at the truth. Agnifilo would rather hang with celebrities than get his hands dirty.

I prefer not to disclose my identity on this site but I have a transcript of the conversation with Agnifilo.

Didn’t the Judge hold a hearing where Keith Raniere said he was happy with his legal defense team? Going to be hard for him to come out now and say he isn’t at this point.

I guess at this time it gives his team of Believers something productive to do while they await his sentence.

After Clear Bear’s sentencing, the writing is on the wall: Raniere will never see the outside of a prison ever again.

What will these Believers do without their Master’s guidance, input, and rule over their every thought and actions?

A mind is a horrible thing to waste and they seem to have no investment in wanting theirs back and rebuilding a life without NXIVM and the crazy man who told them their every belief, thought and action.

No more Kool-Aid, some strong coffee, and an excellent therapist experienced in cults, how to leave and rebuild your life.

I wish you all well, life is so much better on the other side and you can take the tools you learned and build whatever you want without the manipulation and torture.

The Raniere lawsuit outcome will be in favor of the DOJ just as the lawsuit outcome Amway filed against Scott was settled in his favor. LOL

The principles of this group are fundamental to democracy and fairness; prosecutorial accountability. It is troubling that Raniere is, for the moment, the sole source of the movement. The movement needs to prove it is concerned with more than Raniere and seeks to play a significant role in reforming the system as a whole.

Hey Nicki Clyne:
As a matter of curiosity how did your group Make Justice Blind hook up with Abby Rockefeller?
The Rockefeller family has some serious money and power.
Abby’s late uncle Nelson was Vice President of the United States and Governor of New York.
Her cousin is John D. Rockefeller the Fourth, a long time Senator from West Virginia.
So Nicki how did you make the acquaintance of Abby Rockefeller?
Is Abby a fan of Battlestar Galactica?
Is Abby a fan of Smallville?
Nickii, I know you are into left wing politics, much like Allison’s sister Robyn.
Is that how you hooked up with Abby Rockefeller?
Was it a mutual interest in the martial arts?
Is Abby associated with the Bronfmans?

And don’t tell me you have no idea who the Rockefellers are.

Rockefeller as in Standard Oil, Exxon Mobil and Chevron.

Mr. Shadow

I am not Nicki Clyne. Nicki is a self-important, pompous woman too proud or scared to interact with normal people. Also, I do not support Raniere, Nxivm or their followers. I do support prosecutorial accountability and prisoner rights. If Nicki is able to do something positive in the legal system I would support it. Thus far, it seems limited to supporting Raniere so that leaves me and many others skeptical until she proves she’s willing to invest herself in reforming the bigger picture.

FYI: Prison worked for me because I vowed I would never do anything again to cross the line and put myself back there. Till you’ve been in that lonely, lost world and lost your basic rights, you don’t know how bad it is.

ALWAYS Anonymous,

Most grassroots social justice movements that directly address class and inequity are hijacked by the wealthy, political parties or both, simply to profit and manipulate for their own power. When the big money shows up, that’s a huge red flag. Anything that challenges the system will be absorbed and redirected to serve it.
