Dr. Janet Napolitano says mandatory flu shots will “lessen the chance of being infected with COVID.” However, prevailing research suggests that flu vaccines actually raise the risk from coronavirus infection.
A January 2020 US Pentagon study (Wolff 2020) found that the flu shot INCREASES the risks from coronavirus by 36%. “Receiving influenza vaccination may increase the risk of other respiratory viruses, a phenomenon known as “virus interference…’vaccine derived’ virus interference was significantly associated with coronavirus…”
Many other studies suggest the increased risk of viral respiratory infections, including coronavirus, following vaccination for influenza.
- A 2018 CDC study (Rikin et al 2018) found that flu shots increase the risk of non-flu acute respiratory illnesses (ARIs), including coronavirus, in children.
- A 2011 Australian study (Kelly et al 2011) found that flu shots doubled the risk for non-flu viral lung infections.
- A 2012 Hong Kong study (Cowling et al 2012) found that flu shots increase the risk for non-flu respiratory infections by 4.4 times.
- A 2017 study (Mawson et al 2017) found vaccinated children were 5.9 times more likely to suffer pneumonia than their unvaccinated peers.
Children’s Health Defense is aware of a contrary study published last month by Gunther Fink et. al. That report appears to conclude that flu vaccines may be prophylactic against coronavirus. The study, of Brazilian populations, has many dubious unexplained outcomes including a 47% death rate among study subjects, raising numerous unanswered questions about the methodology and validity of this research.
UC campuses should not be encouraging flu shots until we have unambiguous science supporting efficacy against COVID.

On that date the daily cases were 13000.
Today AFTER THE VAX, The Daily case count is 2,40,000 !
It is the HIGHEST in the world and the only nation to see a doubling in peak rates AFTER THE VAX !
And the fun has not begun ! The numbers are severely understated.There is Kumbh Mela on where there are around 1.5 million and 3 state polls where millions are aggregated ! There is NO distance and no TESTS.
The Tests per million, are the same,as in Wave 1 – although, in Wave 2 the spread is geometric.Safe to say that the case count is 3-3,50000.
The number of positive cases per 100 cases is 25% – WHICH IS THE HIGHEST IN THE WORLD and HIGHER THAN THE PRE WW1 INFLUENZA SAGA.The tests per million are NOT being increased to ensure that there is NO PANIC.
The Health Infra is SATURATED.The issue is NOT BEDS – but the medical support and critical infra.
At the current rate of VAX,it will take 300 days for half the Indian population to be vaccinated.Soon the country will be out of drugs and essential medical supplies.Next Step is food and drug riots

All I’m saying is its complicated. You’ve bought into the MSM Tarzan spin. Vaccine GOOD. Questions BAD.
No one is saying those vaccines are a conspiracy. Having said that, students signed an immunization contract to attend given certain vaccines (most of the above-mentioned). The mandated vaccines so far such as MMR.. chickenpox.. bla-bla have been up to 98% effective.. so, yes, let’s eradicate polio, measles, etc. but flu shot has at best been 45% (last years was 19%) effective.. hence NEVER before mandated!… Many would have not signed a contract to attend UC had they known the mandate suddenly added an ineffective yearly flu shot there! Furthermore, COVID prevention measures such as mask and social distancing reduce Flu spread wayyyyy more efficiently than a half-ass effective shot known to have many adverse effects. Lastly, since the only medical exemption is based on CDC/ AAP contraindications (and literally it is absolutely none) then whoever. wants to have flu shot protection can get it themselves. This is a very different scenario than the MMR where the immunocompromised can not get the Vaccine and so we all try to protect them… This flu shot mandate is not logical nor ethical nor beneficial. Even at hospitals, the mandate is ONLY for flu season and if u don’t want a flu shot, u just wear a mask around people.
Last but not least! Gov Newsom just said that CDC does not know what they are saying (w/ respect to the new COVID testing guidelines) and that the CDC are not experts! YET the EO order for flu shot sites CDC flu shot …Recommendations and vaccine exemption contraindications!.
Last but not least, there is no one size fits all! Fighting a bad vaccine choice does not make you anti-vax! People will sue UC for their money and loss of time now if suddenly they are given only 2 months to go get a necessary medical exemption just dumped on them last week in order to register!
