Gandhi once said that “you can judge the character of a nation by the way it treats its animals.” This is a statement I absolutely agree with. Criminals involved in serial killing and violent crime almost always start with abusing animals.
A look at the Wuhan Market Place, with some images too graphic for me (please don’t, Frank), will make one understand that if animal abuse is a science, then China has perfected it. Yes, dogs, raccoons, deer, bats, and a host of exotic animals are found stuffed in cramped, inhumane cages, waiting for an inhumane death that will at least end their suffering. This is a nation known for organ harvesting on its own prisoners—why should we accept anything else? Boiling animals alive should be easy.
Images of “Bat heart” soup have made the rounds, with bats, their chests split open, perched on the edge of a soup bowl, diners gleefully enjoying their lunch. How appetizing.
Coronavirus, first reported just two months ago, has already spread globally, and may very well be the next global pandemic. Cases are doubling literally overnight, and the kill rate is currently higher than the flu.
This disease came out of nowhere, and has taken us by storm, like the NAZI storm troopers pouring into Poland in its Blitzkrieg.
Most importantly, however, is that this illness may have been released just months after Trump announced tariffs on goods from China. Our tariff policy has literally allowed trillions of dollars to leave this country and make a new, improved communist China. Tariffs’ main purpose originally was to help the stronger economies of the world, mainly, the Allied partners, to allow countries destroyed in WWII to be rebuilt. They were set to expire in the seventies but never did.
Trump first announced the much needed “trade war” with China in 2018.
We do not know when the first case of Coronavirus appeared, because the Chinese is largely untrustworthy in its reporting. In fact, the original Chinese reporters who broke the story either disappeared or died from whatever cause. The Chinese have issued gag orders on reporters, and right now, the world has to piece together the origins and devastation of this illness on its own.
What we do know, however, is that Wuhan, China is also home to the largest military lab in China. It is a bio-medical high security lab, and Sen. Tom Cotton has his theories.

I doubt we will ever know where Coronavirus came from, but that it is in retaliation to tariffs should not be ignored. If it did come from a military lab, that would certainly explain the delay in its release from the announcement of tariffs (if there even was a delay).
But why would they? If Cornoavirus was, in fact, manufactured in a lab, why would the Chinese release it into the world? Were they trying somehow to make extra money from the sale of, say, antibiotics? Was it being tested to see if antibiotics would even work on it?? (antibiotics are usually ineffective on viruses).
We simply don’t know if this virus came from an exotic food source or if it was bio-engineered in a lab.
If it was bio-engineered in a lab, could it have been released to get even at Trump for the trade war? Could it have been an attempt to make money to make up for the tariff losses???
Pure guesswork, yes, but figure this:

There are a number of seemingly promising treatments. As I noted in another comment, Japanese hospitals treated cruise ship passengers with experimental drugs, reducing the case fatality rate to around .5% – around just 5 times worse than for normal flu, rather than the 30 to 50 times worse rate recorded in China and Italy. Overall, the speculations or theory just demonstates what I was pointing out a few days ago, that what I was calling widespread conspiracy theories like this make no sense when their implications are really thought through, in part because the supposed conspirators (and, typically, the large number of ruthless henchmen required to carry them out) would have to be harming themselves, their family and friends, and their own interests.
So what are we supposed to believe, the Chinese unleashed the virus in their country so that it would eventually reach the US in “retaliation”? That also makes no sense, even if they were supposed to have had some self-protectiong in place, because the US is their largest trading partner, and so damaging our economy is going to hurt them; and it falls into the shortcoming I also mentioned, that theories overlook that it’s not just a one-, two-, or even three-party world, but that that the Chinese would also be harming all their many other trading partners as well as the virus spread, further damaging their own export economy.
This is also an opportunity to note that when it comes to concocting conspiracy theories, there are almost always mulitiple competing ones, each of which of course fits snugly with the worldview or ideology of whoever is promoting it:

I expect that ultimately the same crowd that came up with 9/11 conspiracy theories will come up with ones blaming the current administration for spreading the virus, including as a “false flag” operation to justify war against China and/or a takover of the country through FEMA. Then we’ll probably also see the supposed “deep state” blamed for seeding (not just exploiting) it to undermine the administration. Some Qanons will of course see it as evidence of the administration carrying out the plase for mass arrests of pedophiles they’e been faithfully waiting for year after year, among other of their deep state themes.
You can’t say that you could hardly make this stuff up, because it’s actually surprisingly easy (note that I readily imagined at least 4 or 5 different variations in just the previous paragraph)

The reality of this situation is that with all the stupid behaviors humans have, this is the kind of thing that will happen frequently!
Its propagation is exclusively caused by the selfishness of the people in general! and it’s birth is likely connected to the “gastronomical” habits the Chinese have (and the poor hygiene that goes along those habits)…
When you hear there is a place where the virus is installed and you have an idiot saying “I won’t cancel my holidays, it’s costing too much”…
When you hear people saying “I don’t think I’m sick” and they decide to go out risking other people’s lives…When you’ll be SURE you aren’t sick, come back!
When you see, that despite the countries going on lockdown, you have hundreds of idiots who gather together to “party” anyway…
Worst yet is the fact that while there isn’t a cure yet, this is a common flu…it isn’t easier to catch it!
But when you say the people “it’s a common flu”, they don’t give a damn about it anymore…
This is showing how pathetic this world is becoming…when people are fine with giving their disease to others…

This virus isn’t yet as deadly as the common flu BTW…While proportionally, the amount of dead is higher, the reality is that with common flu, there is a vaccine…Those who do the right things survive…

In a way, you are right, this virus is engineered by humans (not just China)…by their stupidity.
It came out of the Wuhan wet markets where thousands of types of wildlife are slaughtered one on top of the other. They should be closed down but the virus wasn’t manufactured in a lab. Expect more of these pandemics to happen.
