Blasey Ford May Have Made Feminism a Joke; but Juanita Broadrick Was a Hero

By Fred

I was a paid-up member of Medium.com during the whole Brett Kavanaugh spectacle,  There were dozens and dozens of articles showing Kavanaugh with an apparently snarling face, endless articles trying to rip him to shreds. If that saturation coverage was all I saw of him, I might also have considered him arrogant and entitled. But I was going on the live hearings, and I was amazed that he managed to keep his cool to the extent he did.

His showed some emotion at one point, where he was going through the calendar-diary he kept in high school, and indicated that he never thought, at the time, that this diary would end up being used in this way, to prove his innocence of a sexual assault charge.

Now, I could see he was trying to keep himself in check, especially with all the cameras waiting for him to make the slightest slip so his face could be blazoned over all the attack-dog articles. Of course, this moment of emotion was seized on and exploited to the maximum by his opponents:
https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/brett-kavanaugh-diary-calendar-1982-supreme-court-american-dream-a8559946.html

Headline: “Brett Kavanaugh’s 1982 diary proves he could not possibly assault anyone – he was too busy living the rich prep school white guy dream.”

You say he lied. I’ve gone through a comprehensive list of all Brett Kavanaugh’s “lies”. I can’t find a single substantive thing there, maybe it’s just me:
https://www.gq.com/story/all-of-brett-kavanaughs-lies

For me, that whole list is absolutely pathetic, just grasping at straws.

Whatever kind of person Brett Kavanaugh was before this inquisition, something in me said, very strongly: This hideous experience is going to turn him into a very fine judge, because having been on the wrong side of such an unfair process, he is going to make damn sure he’s fair himself, going forward.

If any event showed the complete cognitive fault lines between the parties — they literally do not see the same thing — it was that confirmation hearing. The message from the Democrats was simple: an accusation like this IN ITSELF is enough to disqualify any man for any position. You’ve been accused, so now just stand down and go away. Kafka himself couldn’t have scripted it better. Brett Kavanaugh refused to knuckle under to the pressure, and for that he’s a goddamn hero to me. You obviously can’t imagine the hell it must have been, for him. The fact that he had the guts to go through with it, was the best indication of his innocence for me.

Christine Margaret Blasey Ford, 53, alleged that then-U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in Bethesda, Maryland, when they were teenagers in the summer of 1982.

I found Christine Blasey Ford to be one of the least credible witnesses I’ve ever seen. But she had the comforting certainty of the hysterical backing of the whole of the left, as an article of faith. Her future is assured forevermore, she will always be a heroine to them. She told palpable and provable lies about the extent of her phobias and her inability to fly, etc. Serious lies, in my book. I was absolutely certain that her entire testimony and presentation was coached, strategised, manipulated, every word crafted for its soundbite potential.

We can agree to disagree, but I do still think this hearing was a dividing line. I will never, ever, ever take “feminism” seriously again, the entire movement got hijacked for gross political ends, where men must “just shut up” (per Maisie Hirono) and anything a politically correct woman says must automatically be true.

In January 2016, Juanita Broaddrick shared on Twitter, “I was 35 years old when Bill Clinton, Ark. Attorney General raped me and Hillary tried to silence me. I am now 73. … it never goes away.”

So, if you’re so sure that Blasey Ford was telling the truth, and Kavanaugh was lying: can I please, really seriously, have your analysis of the case of Juanita Broaddrick, one of the bravest women who ever walked this earth, and Bill Clinton, the absolutely proven liar when it comes to his affairs with women? Here is an absolutely credible story of outright rape. “We Believe Survivors.” Miraculously, Juanita Broaddrick has survived to be with us today. Are you prepared to look her in the face and tell her she’s a liar? Are you? And if you’re not, what does this say about Bill Clinton? And why don’t you say it? Can you explain your double standard?

I understand that the “feminism” and “me too” movements have become polarized and political as of late, but I think it’s important we look at the basic intent behind the movements.

IE: Feminism is about empowering women and making sure they are treated with respect in the workplace, the household and in personal relationships. Me too is about giving a voice to those who felt silenced and traumatized by past sexual abuse.

I don’t think anyone could say they do not agree with these sentiments. I do see how the Me Too movement has become somewhat of a witch hunt as of late and the feminist movement has become leftist propaganda and I think that’s unfortunate because these issues are important.

I also happen to think it is entirely possible BOTH of these women were traumatized and I don’t think it does anyone any good calling either of them liars. Let’s be humans and sympathize and empathize with other humans instead of focusing on polarizing politics.

Be kind- not accusatory. And if Justice Kavanaugh is completely innocent, I do feel that it is criminal what Ms. Ford did and that should be addressed. Until that is proven, I choose to believe her as well as Ms. Broadrick. We are so divided as a country that we are forgetting that these are human beings. Whether you are a Trump supporter or even a Sanders supporter- at least your paying attention and doing your civic duty as an American by voting. No one should we criticized one way or the other.

Just ask author Louise Penny, who loves to post photos of herself with the Clintons, and even put special thanks to them in her latest book… Bill Clinton can do no wrong.

God forbid Liberals actually gave a shit about protecting women. They sure get loud when it suits their political agenda. Then, it doesn’t matter if there is any truth in it, at all.

Here is a video of Broaddrick describing what happened, including why she “changed her story.” I found her credible. But the viewer can make up their own mind.

I just watched Juanita’s interview. Lol.
Juanita and her friend left the hotel without attending the conference, and the hotel also had no record of them staying there. No witnesses saw Clinton at the hotel either. Then Juanita attended another event with Bill Clinton a few weeks later, after the alleged rape.

It’s also rather comical how she claimed she told Clinton she was married and therefore not interested in an affair, when she was already cheating on her husband with another guy at the time of the alleged rape.

Full disclosure Fred.
I was also sexually assaulted once, many years ago. What happened to me was similar as to what happened to Dr Ford (although the setting was different, but there were also 2 attackers) So, IMO, Ford’s story rings true, while Juanita’s is more questionable. The fact that she is a Trump supporter makes her even less believable.

Hey flowers you delusional fool, your hero the well know feminist lawyer and democrat presidential candidate

Tough Guy Michael Avenatti moved to different jail after hitting ‘breaking point’

On Feb. 14, disgraced lawyer Michael Avenatti was found guilty on all charges of trying to bilk $23.5 million from Nike, and now faces up to 42 years in prison. But there’s one thing for him to be happy about: He’s finally been moved out of the downtown Manhattan jail cell he despises.

The attorney, who represented porn star Stormy Daniels in a failed 2018 suit against Donald Trump, was arrested last March and charged with attempting to extort the shoe brand over illegally funneled payments to college basketball players.

I could do better than the clown who was President before Trump. In fact, I’ve had FAR more experience running things than he did. You know, the closet Muslim/socialist/commie, what’s his name? LOL

Just 2 questions Fred.
Why do you think Juanita told 2 very different stories?
Why would Hillary thank Juanita?…(which Juanita interpreted as a threat to keep silent.) I mean if Bill had actually raped Juanita, how would Hillary know about the rape? Does it make sense that Bill would tell Hillary about it?

Get lost flowers you phony hypocrite. When a woman says something bad about your Satanic gods Bill and Hill they are the liars. You are the most delusional demon on this blog. Yet every vile feminist that supports the leftists are sooo pure and honest. Get lost lady.

This article explains how she changed her story.
Another article mentioned how Hillary thanked her for helping out a few weeks after the alleged rape, and Broaddrick assumed it to be a threat.

Is it unusual for a rape victim to first blame themselves and later realize it wasn’t their fault? I think if Slick Willy was a Republican, you’d be all over him. LOL

Can you blame Broaddrick for thinking Hellary THE Horrible was threatening her? Clinton has known about Slick Willy’s slick willy for a long time.

Of course she has. But that doesn’t mean Broaddrick was raped..
My point is that Broaddricks story is no more credible than Dr. Fords story, in fact I think it’s less credible. So why does Fred believe Broaddrick should be believed, but not Ford?

Because Slick Willy has a LONG history of similar behavior, Kavanaugh has ZERO.

I don’t know what two stories you’re talking about, so I’ll have to pass on your first question. Juanita Broaddrick kept quiet initially about what happened to her — when you’ve just been raped by the Attorney General of Arkansas, this is understandable.

As for your second question, in an open letter to Hillary Clinton, Juanita Broaddrick explained why she went to that event where Hillary sought her out:

“I had obligated myself to be at this rally prior to my being assaulted by your husband in April, 1978. I had made up my mind to make an appearance and then leave as soon as the two of you arrived. This was a big mistake, but I was still in a state of shock and denial.”

This shock and denial is entirely credible and consistent with what many rape survivors say.

She continues: “You had questioned the gentleman who drove you and Mr. Clinton from the airport. You asked him about me and if I would be at the gathering. Do you remember? You told the driver, ‘Bill has talked so much about Juanita’, and that you were so anxious to meet me. Well, you wasted no time. As soon as you entered the room, you came directly to me and grabbed my hand. Do you remember how you thanked me, saying ‘we want to thank you for everything that you do for Bill.’ At that point, I was pretty shaken and started to walk off. Remember how you kept a tight grip on my hand and drew closer to me? You repeated your statement, but this time with a coldness and look that I have seen many times on television in the last eight years. You said, ‘Everything you do for Bill.’ You then released your grip and I said nothing and left the gathering.

“What did you mean, Hillary? Were you referring to my keeping quiet about the assault I had suffered at the hands of your husband only two weeks before? Were you warning me to continue to keep quiet? We both know the answer to that question.”
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/928728/posts

So yes, Bill Clinton told his wife enough about what had happened with Juanita, “talked so much” about her that Hillary knew there was a situation that needed to be contained. He probably didn’t use the word “rape”, I’ll concede, but I’m sure Hillary was in no doubt as to what had happened. Hillary was always the fixer in that relationship.

Seriously: why would Hillary specifically seek out Juanita Broaddrick, out of all the campaign workers and helpers, make a beeline for her to thank her for “everything that you do for Bill”? Just put one and one together here. I’ll spell it out for you. You ask why Hillary would thank Juanita. The answer is for her silence. And as a truly chilling warning to her to stay silent. Juanita Broaddrick had absolutely no doubt that this was a threat. I find her story completely credible, knowing everything that we do about Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Juanita Broaddrick was a sincere supporter and fan of Bill Clinton at the time. This is not in question. Why should she manufacture a story like this? Why did her friend see her that day with a swollen lip and clothing torn at the crotch?

Anyway, we really will have to agree to disagree, from my side this weary discussion is closed.

Having closed the discussion, I now see the “two stories” story, on this video:
https://youtu.be/p2n4JbgFqSs

I had seen the whole video before, but I’d forgotten those denials Juanita Broaddrick gave in sworn depositions. Her explanation is completely credible to me — she didn’t want to be forced into a situation that would bring havoc into her life. She described how the whole incident made her feel guilty and she just wanted to put it behind her. I believe her absolutely.

The testimony of her friends at the time is completely consistent and compelling. Christine Blasey Ford could not produce one person who even confirmed there was ever a party. Not one shred of corroboration whatsoever. Case completely closed.

She felt guilty for cheating on her husband that she was already cheating on with her boyfriend? Hmmm…. .
Or guilty for cheating on the boyfriend?
Either way, not really a credible statement given that she was a cheater.

The letter is odd….when did she write that? She stated at some point that she couldn’t remember the month the assault had occurred, so why does she remember it in this letter?

Flowers,

I follow your logic! I believe Colonel Mustard killed Mr. Green in the Drawing Room with the candlestick-holder, or Mrs. Peacock killed Mr. Green with a lead pipe. Interestingly enough, Professor Plum and Miss Scarlet were having unprotected sex in the Conservatory at the time of the murder.

Feminism may always have been a joke, but it very seriously ceased being funny with the Brett Kavanaugh case.

Please — I’ve got good reasons for this — I am just Fred, like the football player from Brazil. Freddy is a genuine psycho on certain other boards, I’m definitely not him. Crazy I may be, but not quite that crazy.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest.
