Keith Raniere’s Secret Email to Allison Mack and Others on His Position on DOS

DOS First-Line Slaves with their master in the middle.

I don’t believe this email has ever been published. It may not be, at this juncture, very important. But for those of us who study the Nxivm cult and its leaders, it has a little more than just historical significance.

It helps us understand the man who could lead hundreds of women into destructive lifestyles, all the while convincing them they were part of something superior and inordinately helpful to themselves.

It is worthy of study on a broader basis, as a means of understanding the human condition – and what makes some of us follow others as opposed to leading ourselves.

The email was read aloud by Lauren Salzman, a classic follower, right to the point of being a criminal in his name, as part of her testimony in the trial of Keith Alan Raniere.

It was Keith’s statement on DOS, the secret master-slave group he created. The occasion for the email, sent to his eight First Line Slaves, was in response to the New York Times story Inside a Secretive Group Where Women Are Branded.

It was, in effect, a directive for Allison Mack and the others of his first line slaves to support his denial of his role in DOS and for them to be proud to take responsibility for DOS as brave and free women.

It was as much a pep talk and rallying cry as it was a directive for them to take the fall for his grotesque brainchild which was now getting worldwide attention.

Raniere is desperately denying he had anything to do with DOS – but speaking out, he says, to defend a woman’s right to live a life she thinks is best. This is supposed to be heartfelt and inspiring.

Here is the complete email.

From Keith Raniere

To Allison Mack, Lauren Salzman, Nicki Clyne, Rosa Laura Junco, Camilia Fernandez, Monica Duran, Loreta Garza. and Daniela Padilla

The shaming of these women, especially when men doing similar more drastic activities (see the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity) are upheld — is a primitive, covertly misogynistic strike against the rights of women and women generally.

If women choose to brand, pierce, mark, tattoo or otherwise physically adorn themselves for any reason, they should be allowed to do so without shame or scorn. It is the nature of a free society.

This campaign is not only a campaign against the rights of women and alternative lifestyles, it is a campaign against freedom itself.

Any society that upholds shaming people to comply with the norm will likely not advance and fall into despotism. As important as freedom of speech, is freedom of expression. This campaign seeks to destroy that freedom.

The women of the sorority chose to mark themselves as a stand of solidarity and a symbol to each other of mutual commitment. Should that be punished or scorned?

Whether NXIVM, Keith Raniere, or anyone else associated with them likes or dislikes it, these women should have the freedom to express themselves.

NXIVM, Keith Raniere and associates uphold this right beyond personal opinions.

Although this group has nothing at all to do with NXIVM or related company trainings, or corporate activities and many of the individuals involved have never been associated with NXIVM, Keith Raniere, or related companies at all, NXIVM, Keith Raniere and associates strongly support their right to these consensual activities without shame.

To be clear, this sorority is autonomous, separate and distinct from NXIVM, Keith Raniere and associates.

NXIVM, Keith Raniere and associates, although having little knowledge or authority in the issue, applaud the courage of these women who stand in opposition to primitive social norms and stand in solidarity with them in their right to freedom. The few women who undergo the rigorous consensual screening and invitation process making multiple promises and assertions in several stages, taking a life vow of secrecy and pledging like the founders of the U.S. Declaration of Independence, “their lives’ fortunes and their sacred honor,” to be a member of this group and then breaking such a vow is shameful.

[He is referring to Sarah Edmondson who showed her brand to the New York Times]

It ultimately reveals the character of the person, the vow breaker, as a liar. Any story based on the few liars who seek to shame their sisters because of their own dishonor is regretful. Imagine if our forefathers had done the same the moment times got difficult.

***************

World’s smartest man.

Here are a few comments I have about the content of the email.

He asserts the New York Times shamed women and that the story was a primitive, covertly misogynistic strike against the rights of women and women generally.

Yes, the right of women to be branded slaves, after being recruited dishonestly, was attacked.

If women choose to brand, pierce, mark, tattoo, or adorn themselves – that’s what he calls the brand with his initials on it – adornment – It is the nature of a free society – to let women abrogate their freedom and be slaves.

This campaign” – he calls it a campaign – is a campaign against the rights of women, alternative lifestyles and freedom itself.

But it is not a campaign against lying – which is what Keith is actually doing.

He waxes poetic when he says, The women of the sorority chose to mark themselves [i.e., brand themselves near their vaginas with his initials – most of them not knowing it was his initials] as a stand of solidarity and a symbol to each other of mutual commitment. Should that be punished or scorned?”

Keith was punished. So were Allison and Lauren. The others got off with basically being scorned.

Whether NXIVM, Keith Raniere, or anyone else associated with them likes or dislikes it – and Keith loved it – these women should have the freedom to express themselves.

That freedom is called by him slavery.

Although this group [DOS] has nothing at all to do with NXIVM or related company trainings, or corporate activities and many of the individuals involved have never been associated with NXIVM, Keith Raniere, or related companies at all – [who? – all the slaves, as far as I know, were students of Nxivm. Many did not know Keith was involved in DOS. Allison, Lauren and the others lied to women about that.

In that respect Keith is telling the truth, most of the deceived slaves did not know they were associated with Keith in DOS or that he was their Grand Master or had access to their collateral.

NXIVM, Keith Raniere and associates strongly support their right to these consensual activities without shame.

But was it consensual when blackmail/collateral material was collected under false pretenses? This is what a big part of his criminal trial was about.

To be clear, this sorority is autonomous, separate and distinct from NXIVM, Keith Raniere and associates.

This is, of course, is the signal lie and the real purpose of the email – to deny he was part of DOS.

It was not autonomous, separate and distinct from Keith Raniere.

It was all Keith Raniere.

NXIVM, Keith Raniere and associates, although having little knowledge or authority in the issue – Keith had little knowledge of DOS? He had little authority?  He was the Grand Master of DOS! He had women paddled, locked in cages, put on extreme diets, sleep-deprived, made to follow 24/7 readiness drills, stand barefoot in the snow, do exercises in the middle of the night, seduce him, order other women to seduce him, etc.

He nevertheless applaud[s] the courage of these women who stand in opposition to primitive social norms

But isn’t it a bit primitive to have slaves and brand them like cattle?

Keith stands in solidarity with them in their right to freedom [to be slaves]

The few women – there were more than 100 at one time – although many quit by the time the New York Times story came out because of Frank Report stories – they underwent the rigorous consensual screening and invitation process they were recruiting like mad dogs making multiple promises and assertions in several stages, taking a life vow of secrecy and pledging, like the founders of the U.S. Declaration of Independence, “their lives’ fortunes and their sacred honor.”

Yes, the DOS women were much like Jefferson, John and Samuel Adams, Franklin, Hancock, etc.  They wanted freedom. The DOS woman wanted to be slaves.

It ultimately reveals the character of the person, the vow breaker, as a liar.

As Keith himself was revealed as a liar.

Any story based on the few liars who seek to shame their sisters because of their own dishonor is regretful. Imagine if our forefathers had done the same the moment times got difficult.

Yes, had they done that, we might still be under British Rule – and had Sarah and a few others not done what they did, Lauren and Allison and the others would still be under Raniere’s rule.

****

I think the importance of this email is nothing more than to show that Raniere was far from the smartest man in the world. A smart man would have known this scheme could never work. And known enough that lying is never the way to success, executive or otherwise, but always the way to true failure.

What Raniere had was a talent for lying – which means he was always self-destructive – and a talent for seeking weak women and men who he could control.  He succeeded for a time, but the lesson to be learned from this is that in the end, lies fail.

Keith failed in the end because he was a liar.

Quote: I am still trying to understand what exactly the criminal charges are against Alison Mack that would lead to a prison sentence? Raniere obviously saw the value of getting a famous TV actress to promote what he was doing. It is all very sleazy, but what exactly is she guilty of?

If she lured women into Jness … and by that into DOS … voluntarily … Allison is guilty of blackmail, mayhem, promotion of prostitution, sexual harassment or even rape. I don´t think that those young women wanted to have sex, neither with Keith Raniere nor with other women.

My sight is clouded because I had (have) a major crush on Allison, who was born in northern Germany, where I´m still living. I want to believe that she is Keith Raniere’s biggest and saddest victim. She was lured into this crazy sex cult through organizations like the World Ethics Foundation and Jness, which had also an office in Hamburg, Germany. They seemed to want to help young insecure women to find their way in life … and not their way into the harem of a genius but crazy man. If the internet is correct, Keith Raniere shall be under the top 10 of the men with the highest IQ (Guinness World Record Book). So he is most capable of deception. And if you take a look at Allison in the video “interview” for The Score … you see her just nodding along … with an empty look in her eyes … listen to the monologue of all those insane ideas of him.

In my conclusion: Allison needs help, not prison. She needs therapy and should use her whole fortune to do reparations … to help people, who got abused. Because I still believe her, that she just wanted to do good things, but got abused herself. She hasn´t deserved to be treated like Keith Raniere. To be a little bit selfish … she could do a restart in her birth state, Schleswig-Holstein. Nobody would recognize her … and the worst cult we have are Jehova´s Witnesses. So it´s unlikely, that she will have a relapse.

PS: I can´t wait to find out the verdict. Greetings from Germany.

Frank,
You buy this whole thing about Nancy knew nothing? I think it is untrue in the same way “old” Lauren was “aware” of things and waited around to be invited to the party.

Keith did know how to manipulate.

For those too lazy to click the link, but prefer hurtling harmful, hurtful, if not juvenile insults to women who have been hurt enough, read:

“According to the complaint, in 2015, Raniere created a secret society within Nxivm called “DOS,” which loosely translated to “Lord/Master of the Obedient Female Companions,” or “The Vow.” DOS operated with levels of women “slaves” headed by “masters.” Slaves were expected to recruit slaves of their own (thus becoming masters themselves), who in turn owed service not only to their own masters but also to masters above them in the DOS pyramid. Raniere stood alone at the top of the pyramid. Other than the Raniere, all members of DOS were women.

Most DOS slaves were recruited from within Nxivm’s ranks. When new DOS slaves were recruited, they were explicitly told that the organization was women-only, and that the organization would empower them and eradicate weaknesses that the Nxivm curriculum taught were common in women. Raniere’s status at the top of the structure was concealed from new recruits.

As a pre-condition to joining DOS, women were required to provide “collateral,” which included highly damaging information about friends and family members, nude photographs and/or rights to the recruit’s assets. DOS slaves feared that their collateral could be released for any number of reasons, including telling anyone about DOS’s existence or leaving DOS. Many DOS slaves were branded on their pelvic areas using a cauterizing pen with a symbol which, unbeknownst to them, incorporated Raniere’s initials. During the branding ceremonies, slaves were required to be fully naked, and a master would order one slave to film the branding while the others restrained the slave being branded.

As detailed in the complaint, some DOS masters gave their slaves, including Jane Does 1 and 2 as described in the complaint, work which directly or implicitly required the slaves to have sex with Raniere. These DOS masters received financial benefits from Raniere. According to the complaint, both Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 believed that if they did not have sex with the defendant, their collateral could be released. ”

This was a Crime Against Humanity. And KAR sat at the top of his newest pyramid scheme.

What I get from Raniere’s words is his utter cowardice. He tried to handle his anxieties about public exposure by commandeering some insane form of social justice as the reasoning behind nauseating ritualism which he imposed upon his “slaves.” He wanted to make his role in all of this weirdness nonexistent and to pin any blame on the women. What else is new? That was much of his entire act and scheme, to blame women, to dominate them and to abuse them while pretending to be wise, helpful and oh-so-brilliant. This was his weak sauce cover story for his addiction to sadism.

His tactics are sour, old and weak. He must have spent a lot of time reading Scientology’s dimwit concepts about how to win arguments and to defeat objections, with awkward contortions, misplaced blame and irrational distortions, costumed to sound reasonable but nevertheless, ridiculous.

This disorganized BLAH-BLAH is like watching an asshole talk to itself. Possibly at this point, Raniere, the obsessive pervert, saw the end coming for his cozy little dictatorship, for here he sounds like a delusionary fool, trying to be tricky and to deny his leadership, trying to sound moralistic about how the “sorority” of women must not be criticized for pursuing their right to be branded slaves. No doubt already Raniere was getting ready to run and hide and to miss his last group blowjob while trying to hide in a closet.

Raniere was still trying to balance on his self-appointed high horse but was starting to be too lightheaded to handle the ride. Wimp. It is beyond me how any woman could stand him and his little Napoleon-the-sadistic-pedophile complex. Raniere was power hungry and full of repressed anger, and cowards often have twisted ways of trying to hide from themselves. No offense to pussies of any kind but Raniere is one ugly chicken shit, inside-out pussy boy.

Ha, you hit it, Shivani. I had no idea about who he was when I met him, but believe me, and it was right around DOS in its heyday, when he was looking for his lady soldiers, my impression was that he was a putz–like he had read a few MRA negging type things and tried to show off, shaking his doofus longish hair in front of the guys. Really. I have to shake my head at any woman who ever bought into his superior being bs. Nothing against short guys. Moreso, I have to wonder about the men who supported him.

Thank you for the great article. I have a question. These women went there voluntarily and agreed to have sexual intercourse. Morally disgusting perhaps but they were never raped: It was all consensual as far as I can tell. I’ve been looking for a short easy way to understand: what was the crime?

I have a different read on this.

First and foremost, it is very interesting KAR refers to himself in the third person.

But in my opinion, this email is a form of gaslighting his followers. KAR was exposed, and the saying is, “a best defense is an offense.”

So he tries to pull the now suspicious group of his harem together by making it about THEM. Look what the establishment is trying to do to YOU. They are trying to prevent you from being true independent feminists by scaring you back into submission.

When in reality, he placed the women into submission with his initials, and as nothing but chattel and servitude into his newest MLM marketing scheme, where he was the Vanguard, the top of the pyramid, worried now he may lose control over his true victims: the women he hardwired to follow his sociopathy.

KAR kept NAZI names for his colleagues. Here’s his latest: these women were packed on a train saying they were going somewhere special, when in reality they were fooled and tricked. Since the feds and Frank stopped the train, we don’t know where that final destination would have been.

This is my opinion based on my reading of the transcripts and other public material.

It would be really interesting to find out where you get your storylines from.

MOST of what you write is made up, with NO truth or foundation.

By going off your writing, I take it you have NO support for Allison Mack?

I wish you and ALL the rest of you “I hate Allison Mack brigade”, lay off her and your BAD commentating.

Has neither of any of you know her personally like I do, then please back off and STOP making things worse.

Bob,

If you knew Allison Mack so well why did you fail to tell her she was in a dangerous cult/criminal gang?

Lots of women trusted Allison Mack and she ended up taking pictures and videos of them that can be used for blackmail.

Those women want their blackmail returned.

Where did Allison put it?

See “58”, that’s where you’re discrediting yourself. Allison didn’t brand them. She was one of two or more masters of ceremonies that were presiding over, what was presented to her by Raniere as a sorority initiation. I repeat: SHE DIDN’T BRAND THEM and was blindly following the directions of Raniere. These claims of yours are highly inflammatory, incorrect and untrue.

Please, just stop.

Amen! I believe that the incessant hatred towards Allison Mack to the exclusion of all others, constitutes a hate crime. In Canada the accusations on this blog slandering her character, would be actionable in a court. You can discuss her charges or her confession, but you can’t desecrate or incite hatred towards her to the level that has occurred on this blog.

I’ve found the timber of the comments so rabid I’ve wondered if there is a hidden attempt to provoke a catharsis with her.

I’m pretty sure the main proponents of the “hate Allison movement” are women. No man would ever talk about a woman the way Shadow State, Shadow State 1958 or recently Shivani have. And a man promoting hatred towards a female public figure is a type of hate crime.

It makes me suspect that they have a future agenda, possibly a lawsuit since she it the only one who has apparently not bankrupted herself through Nxivm courses.

“It was, in effect, a directive for Allison Mack and the others”
Just to be able to say Allison Mack…It’s not even a directive for the first line.

This mail is obviously not for Allison or the others…it’s a way to push them down the cliff if the story breaks loose.
It’s nothing else. So why wait for the last line to point it out?

We know he was behind the marking, we know he was behind DOS and behind everything…It’s anything but a secret mail…it looks like the text he prepared to disengage Nxivm from DOS and pretend it’s a standalone group.
OR
It would mean that the first line weren’t aware of what was really happening.

While partly plausible. Allison believed that he was healing them (and no, she is not crazy but was not in a proper state of mind…Starvation and possible drugging (plus lack of sleep) is not really good for the brain functions)
but Lauren, Laura and Camilla were surely aware of the real purpose…
BTW, before someone goes with a “Allison knew”…no she didn’t, Camilla pointed that in her conversation with Raniere.
Lauren was aware (as she is deep in most bad deed (like the keeping Dani locked away)), Cami knew (he told her) and Laura was in DOS before anyone (if I recall properly, it’s her who collected collaterals for most first line).

The only part Allison really retained was the fact that Raniere was the master of DOS.

Anyway, while this letter is “interesting”, it’s nothing but a fake official statement made for the public to be found.

Potentially, the letter he transmitted to Nxivm members after the story in NY Times was published (the Sarah article).

Raniere leads with some typically sloppy-minded “whataboutism,” the fallacy that citing another, arguably related example – “what about….” – somehow provides a valid justification:

“Whataboutism (also known as Whataboutery) is a red herring version of the classic tu quoque logical fallacy – sometimes implementing the balance fallacy as well – which is employed as a propaganda technique. It is used as a diversionary tactic to shift the focus off of an issue and avoid having to directly address it.” https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Whataboutism

It’s often used by cult apologists, typically by comparing the questionable or bad behavior of their group to something that occurs in more established or traditional groups. That of course proves nothing by itself, since many longstanding or more accepted groups still do (or allow to go on) things that are dubious, reprehensible or even illegal – plus it actually often implicitly contradicts the typical group claim to legitimacy, that they have a new and improved way of doing things which transcends everything that came before.

And Omega Psi Phi Fraternity members may get brands, but they’re apparently alone in that regard among all the Greek groups in the US, and controversial for the practice – plus of course they do it with full knowledge of what they’re getting in to, and no blackmail material being held over them, unlike in DOS. And the comparison really only gets worse on consideration, because fraternities have become rather infamous for coercive, harmful practices, and superficial if not even toxic concepts of behavior and brotherhood – not the best example. One might even say that in DOS, Raniere distilled the worst aspects of male fraternities into a group aimed at women.

I think it’s indeed important, maybe even the most important thing here, for us to get to see inside materials and sources.

I just can’t with these lies. Raniere QUOTE from article:

“…Although this group has nothing at all to do with NXIVM or related company trainings, or corporate activities and many of the individuals involved have never been associated with NXIVM…”

NXIVM courses are the first thing that draws the women in! They don’t just come off the street seeking DOS. They take NXIVM courses and are vetted by the likes of Allison Mack who said to India: ” You should meet Keith your his type. ”
Allison could spot Keith’s “type” a mile away then she “love bombed” and “mirrored” them and drew them in.

And this Raniere QUOTE:

“…Any society that upholds shaming people to comply with the norm will likely not advance and fall into despotism. ..”

The collateral was designed to shame people to comply with “the norm” of DOS, and likewise Raniere was correct, DOS DID fall into “despotism”….Good call Keith.

And this QUOTE:

“…it is a campaign against freedom itself…”

And freedom? How is it freedom to decide to ask for your collateral back but be denied? How is it freedom to be computer hacked and saddled with litigation and legal bills for 10 years because you want to have the freedom to pursue a different lifestyle?

Like I said, I just can’t with these lies!

Raniere definitely had the idea that DOS was going to somehow grow huge and be recruiting women directly – as bizarre as that may seem. Some women may have come in through front groups like The Source, which targeted actors, but as far as I’m aware everyone who got into DOS also ended up taking NXIVM courses first.

Exo/Eso, a fitness-oriented front which Dr. Danielle Roberts ran or was heavily involved in, may have been one most intended to funnel women into DOS. But again, I don’t think there is anyone known to have come in that way.

‘He asserts the New York Times shamed women and that the story was a primitive, covertly misogynistic strike against the rights of women and women generally.’ Keith Raniere

I remember when I first started commenting on the Frank Report that I was labeled “Misogynistic.”
Those commenters were literally singing out of Keith Raniere’s hymn book.

“To Allison Mack, Lauren Salzman, Nicki Clyne, Rosa Laura Junco, Camilia Fernandez, Monica Duran, Loreta Garza. and Daniela Padilla”
Written by Keith Raniere

Here Keith Raniere lists the members of the sex slave cult in order of their rank.
As Frank Parlato notes, Allison Mack and Lauren Salzman were indicted and convicted.
Allison Mack was the Chief Pimp and Lauren Salzman was the Vice Pimp.
Nicki Clyne is now the acting head of NXIVM.
And the remaining five members are Mexican nationals who have fled to Mexico along with Dr. Danielle Roberts, the Brander.

Again you display your ignorance.
Police can not prosecute anyone, even Raniere, on the basis of an allegation.
Police must corroborate an allegation to act on it.
And the best corroboration is a recording of the defendant admitting the conduct while talking to the victim.

As for Scoot Johnson calling me Captain Obvious, how long did it take Scott to figure out that Amway is a scam?
How many YEARS did it take Scott Johnson Johnson to figure out that Amway is a scam?
An obvious fact that most people figure out in minutes.

And For Your Information, I was one of the first people to note that the NXIVM defendants would be prosecuted as Racketeers under the RICO law.
I will also tell you right now that the NXIVM defendants will be hit with big orders of restitution for damaging their victims by potential blackmail.

In the 1990s an underage girl accused Congressman Mel Reynolds of sexually molesting her in Chicago.
The Chicago Police, WITH THE FULL COOPERATION OF THE GIRL, recorded a telephone conversation of the girl with Congressman Reynolds CORROBORATING her allegations.
That CORROBORATION allowed Congressman Reynolds to be prosecuted and convicted.

Police can not prosecute people on the basis of mere allegations.
Until the people of New York State learn to cooperate with the police they will continue to get precisely what they deserve, to be SCREWED!

“Conviction and resignation
In August 1994, Reynolds was indicted for sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse for engaging in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old campaign volunteer that began during the 1992 campaign.[2] He also faced charges of child pornography for asking the underage campaign worker to obtain “lewd photographs of another girl who was age 15″ and obstruction of justice for convincing one of the girls involved to lie to authorities
On August 22, 1995, he was convicted on 12 counts of criminal sexual assault, sexual abuse, obstruction of justice and solicitation of child pornography.[1] He resigned his seat on October 1 of that year.[3]”

Shadowstate,

I only disagree with you on 2 subjects:

1. I believe Allison Mack is guilty and deserves 3-5 years in prison. I do not believe she is the antiChrist. You believe she deserves a much longer sentence.

2. In my mind, Rhiannon is not guilty or at fault for anything. There was no way she was going to con a con artist. She was a young teenager. Raniere may not be the smartest man in the world, but he is intelligent. Raniere’s ego was his downfall. Rhiannon was never going to pull it off and he may have hurt her.

Let’s agree to disagree.

I am just ribbing you. I wish you posted more historically relevant stories like you used to. Have a good night!

“At least we can say; Mr. Shadow is consistent, stalwart, and steadfast in his beliefs……”

My beliefs are based on the truth.
The police and District Attorney will not prosecute a matter on mere allegations.
The police need corroboration and the cooperation of witnesses and victims.

Mel Reynolds
“Conviction and resignation
In August 1994, Reynolds was indicted for sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse for engaging in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old campaign volunteer that began during the 1992 campaign.[2] He also faced charges of child pornography for asking the underage campaign worker to obtain “lewd photographs of another girl who was age 15″ and obstruction of justice for convincing one of the girls involved to lie to authorities.[10] Despite the charges, he continued his campaign and was reelected that November; he had no opposition.[2] Reynolds initially denied the charges, which he claimed were racially motivated. On August 22, 1995, he was convicted on 12 counts of criminal sexual assault, sexual abuse, obstruction of justice and solicitation of child pornography.[1] He resigned his seat on October 1 of that year.[3]”

The problem is with the word “chose.” That these women, at least in part, had been “collateralized,” starved, threatened, and thus emotionally coerced into engaging with this branding means they were left with little sincere agency and their abilities to choose were compromised. This seems too obvious…but I’m not the smartest person in the world, so what do I know?

How very like him to commit outright, provable lies to writing. Email is forever, Keith. Or are you stuck in the 1990s?

I know he is supposed to be intelligent, but things like this make you wonder what goes on in his head. Did he really think he would never be linked to DOS, despite this and other emails, and texts?

“The few women who undergo the rigorous consensual screening and invitation process making multiple promises and assertions in several stages, taking a life vow of secrecy…” He seems to know quite a bit for someone who has “little knowledge or authority in the issue.”

He should have run this crap by one of his lawyers before sending it.

” Email is forever, Keith. ” Nancy Durkin

After the 2013 revelations of Edward Snowden, everyone should know that “Email is forever”.
Everyone except the world’s third dumbest man, Keith Raniere.

It’s totally laughable and makes a mockery of his attempt to deny all connection and knowledge. He really does have some marbles missing

Ugh. I shouldn’t read this and eat breakfast. I’ve completely lost my appetite and it just infuriates me what an absolute dolt this guy is. If he hadn’t been so selfish and sexually degrading with so many women, the sad part is he may have gotten away with his lying and god complex for a lot longer. You see it in cults all the time. All the women who perpetuated the lie to others deserve jail IMO. Shame on them, brainwashed or not.

‘We know nothing about this secretive group but we support the right of these women to choose…while those women who broke these secretive vows taken under an controller environment of deception are liars.’

Talking out of both sides of his mouth like only a sociopathic conman could.

About the Author

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
