Toni Natalie Lies About Her Own Brother’s Death!

The late John Natalie. Did he commit suicide as his sister Toni says, or did he die of a heart attack?

In her book, The Program Inside the Mind of Keith Raniere and the Rise and Fall of Nxivm,Toni Natalie says her brother John Natalie committed suicide.

Here is the pertinent excerpt from the book:

“…  on March 12, 2009, I had the misfortune of revisiting Vanguard’s warped views on suicide, when my brother John took his own life. Like my parents, he was suffering because of what Keith was doing to us. John was a wreck. He was seven years older and had regarded himself as the man of the house from a very young age. He felt responsible for me, responsible for my mother. He wanted to protect me from my tormentor, but there was only so much he could do.

“John communicated sporadically with Keith for years, always trying to negotiate my freedom—as he’d done when I left back in 1999. But this was not a fight among equals. NXIVM had unlimited resources, while ours were tapped out. Keith was surrounded by a coven of brainwashed witches who would fly hither and yon at his command. My brother was desperate, exhausted, financially ruined, and mentally broken. He was taking strong medications to treat angina and hypertension. He was drinking too much. And he was in regular contact with Keith all through the winter. There were emails, phone calls, even a personal visit from Vanguard’s fixer, Kristin Keeffe. The autopsy lists the cause of death as suicide by a lethal combination of metoprolol and diltiazem, John’s heart medications.

“I thought about my brother, so damaged, so empathic, and wondered what fucked-up messages Keith had communicated to him in months days leading up to his death….. How many more lives would Vanguard claim before he was stopped?”

Now, this sounds dramatic and intense. Another chapter in the life of a woman who has been victimized so often. In her book, she says she had to give up her son, she went bankrupt for 10 years, was in constant litigation for 20 years, and, to top it off, her brother committed suicide – all because of Keith Raniere.

Wow. This is Patient Zero, Victim Number One, and Little Orphan Annie all rolled into one..

But let’s parse what she wrote about John to see what Toni wants us to believe about her brother. At least, I’ll tell you what I would think about him if her story is true.

Toni writes “on March 12, 2009,… my brother John took his own life….  he was suffering because of what Keith was doing to us. John was a wreck. He was seven years older and had regarded himself as the man of the house ….  He felt responsible for me, responsible for my mother. He wanted to protect me from my tormentor, but there was only so much he could do.”

Poor, weak, little John. He wanted to protect Toni but he had shriveled balls. He couldn’t stand up to fight big, bad Keith.

John tried, but he was only a little guy. He couldn’t take it anymore. So, he offed himself, right? He wanted to protect lil’ sis’ Toni from her tormentor but he did not have the guts and the balls to stick it out – to fight like a man and protect his sister. No, the coward dog killed himself – and left poor Toni to fend for herself.

Toni continues: “John communicated sporadically with Keith for years, always trying to negotiate my freedom…. But this was not a fight among equals. NXIVM had unlimited resources, while ours were tapped out.”

So, it boils down to money. Money makes man. And John is no man, if Toni’s story is true. He couldn’t compete financially, so he took the easy way out and killed himself – leaving Toni to fight all alone.  Someone should piss on John’s grave if Toni’s story is true.

If it were me, I would have killed Keith before I’d kill myself –  and let the state execute me –f any of this was true. If there was really no way out for John, as Toni says – no way for him to protect his sister and mother – so outgunned by Nxivm’s money – and so distraught from how Keith was harassing Toni and him and their mother – if he was any kind of a man – he would have killed Keith, then killed himself.

But no, coward John took the easy way out – and left his sister and mother to fight the mighty monster all by themselves. This shit stain of a man – wicked John Natalie – ran from the fight – according to Toni.

Toni continues, “Keith was surrounded by a coven of brainwashed witches who would fly hither and yon at his command. My brother was desperate, exhausted, financially ruined, and mentally broken. He was taking strong medications to treat angina and hypertension. He was drinking too much. And he was in regular contact with Keith all through the winter. There were emails, phone calls, even a personal visit from Vanguard’s fixer, Kristin Keeffe.”

Whoa! So Kristin Keeffe, one of the wicked coven, came hither to poor, little, weakling, baby boy John, and persuaded him to commit suicide!  Phone calls and emails from Keith and a visit from coven witch Keeffe?  [Keeffe told me she did not visit John and disputes this as a total lie.]  If Toni is telling the truth, Keeffe, in effect, literally was sent to persuade John to commit suicide.

And Toni accuses Raniere of doing the same – filling the doltish John’s head with crazy, destructive suggestions.

By comparison, Toni herself is much tougher. Nobody could get her to off herself – and it was her that Keith was going after, not John.

John killed himself because he could not protect Toni and his mother – at least that’s what happened according to Toni.

Toni Nata-LIE

Toni continues, “The autopsy lists the cause of death as suicide by a lethal combination of metoprolol and diltiazem, John’s heart medications. I thought about my brother, so damaged, so empathic, and wondered what fucked-up messages Keith had communicated to him in months days leading up to his death.”

I wonder too. I wonder how Toni thought she could get away with this story of a weakling, bastard, asshole, coward, ball-less brother – if it wasn’t true. He’s no man who would kill himself to get out of the fight and let his sister [and mother] fight alone.

But is this story true?

According to numerous people, John was anything but an emasculated fool. He was not the type to kill himself. In fact, he considered himself a tough guy. Not a guy to run from a fight. Good or bad, honest or dishonest, John Natalie was, at the very least, not a physical coward.

He would not have thought Keith too formidable, according to those who knew him. In fact, several people who knew him told me that he thought his sister Toni was a user and liar.

On top of that, two sources with intimate knowledge of John’s communications told me that John, on occasion, proposed business opportunities to Keith, which Keith declined. This is not the act of someone who is determined to protect his sister from a monster.

Why would he suggest investing opportunities to Keith if he thought Keith was Toni’s tormentor? Could it be that John knew Toni was lying about Keith being a threat to her?

John Died of a Heart Condition, Not Suicide

One of the Natalie family friends told me that at the time of his death, everyone knew John died of a heart attack, not suicide.

The obituary reads, “Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association”.

Why would the family suggest contributions be made to the American Heart Association if John committed suicide?

I spoke with John’s girlfriend of 20 years – Lisa LoPresti – who was with John the day he died.  I asked her if John committed suicide?

Lisa said, “Absolutely not. He didn’t commit suicide. I have his autopsy report. He died of Afib.”

[Afib is atrial fibrillation (also called AFib or AF) and it is a quivering or irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) that can lead to blood clots, stroke, heart failure, and other heart-related complications.]

Lisa continued, “He called his doctor when he didn’t feel good that morning. He died in the evening.”

But Toni says he killed himself.

“It’s absolutely not true,” Lisa said. “John didn’t want to die.” He thought he could ride it out. He was basically having a heart attack the whole day.

But why did Toni say it was suicide?

Lisa seemed angry that Toni would make up this lie about the man she lived with for 20 years.  Lisa said, “John didn’t talk to his sister in over two years. She doesn’t know what happened.”

Whoa! Toni did not talk to her brother for more than two years? Why was that?

Toni Natalie with her brother John Natalie. In her book, she calls John her hero but then disgraces his memory by saying he killed himself rather than stand and fight –- leaving his mother and sister to fight Keith Raniere by themselves.

Toni Natalie’s whole book is about how she is a victim of Keith Raniere and how she fought back. It is dramatic to throw in a death in the family – caused by Keith. I get why she felt it added to the story.

Still, how many people do you know who would disgrace their brother’s memory by claiming he committed suicide when he didn’t, just so they could make their book more dramatic?

It is unfair to John’s memory and to his family. According to his obituary, John was survived by his children, John Jr. and Dori Natalie; grandchildren, Sydnie, Jacob and Isabella; brothers, Mark and Tony Natalie; nephew, Michael DeCook; and god-daughter, Melissa VanSchaick.

Is it fair to make a mockery of John and his death to these people – just to sell more books?

Should the record show – for his children and grandchildren to read – that John died a coward?

Toni asks in her book, in connection with John’s suicide, “How many more lives would Vanguard claim before he was stopped?”

My question is, how many more of Toni’s lies will the Frank Report expose before her book is withdrawn or reclassified as fiction by the publisher?

Toni closes her book with a final mention of John and his suicide.

She writes, “After my brother died in 2009…. I got a tattoo of a favorite expression of John’s, a spin on Aeschylus. I think of that quote, and of my brother, as I leave the courtroom for the last time: ‘In war, truth is the first casualty… but not this time.'”

This is one sick lady.

Toni Nata-LIE has a tattoo on her back which reads, “‘In War, Truth is the First Casualty. . . But Not This Time”. She claims she got this tattoo because her brother John committed suicide. But he did not commit suicide, so what the hell does the tattoo mean?

Interesting how the adopted son who Natalie turned her back on and isn’t related to by blood is listed in the obituary as a “survivor.” It appears they needed a token newphew.

This is despicable. Not Toni but Frank Perlato. I believe Toni. Her brother committed suicide. Why would she write it in a book if it didn’t happen? Let’s be real. She could not get away with a lie. Plus she is our queen. Our adored and adorable one. #stopPerlato. Stop this despicable man and #ProtectToniNatalie

” In fact several people who knew him told me that he thought his sister Toni was a user and liar.” John Natalie’s girlfriend of twenty years had and has been around long enough with John and his family to know that John Natalie hadn’t been in contact with Toni for over two years when he died. Yet according to Toni, he killed himself. Again, Toni has been caught out being out for herself alone and trying to warp other peoples’ experiences and to foster her ugly manipulations, completely dirpsregarding what disgusting damages she has kept inflicting upon others.

Instead of making herself into a combination of a heroine and a victim of Raniere, Toni is making herself notorious for sporting a variety of personality disorders. She could be the only one left who is oblivious about Toni Natalie’s displays of character.

Toni has tread upon her own brother’s last moments on earth with her garbage. This is the kind of sister no one wants to have, a back stabber. That is what John’s loved ones have been left to cope with from Toni Natalie.

They are not the only ones who have had to confront how Toni Natalie seems to need to reinvent her own twisted versions of other peoples’ experiences, feelings, words, and personal history. The list keeps becoming longer as Toni Natalie’s dishonesties, fabricated to benefit herself, are being brought to light. But even some pretty miserable characters still have some kind of fondness for their own blood and try to avoid upsetting or hurting them. Well, the hell with that as far as Toni goes, since she does not seem to give a fuck who gets hurt, so long as she gets to play the queen.

She has written about her brother’s death as if she were some kind of psychic medium and knew all about her brother’s physical health and how he was feeling mentally and emotionally.

Yet once again, those close to John Natalie were aware that Toni was not in touch with her brother during his last two years (plus) of living. Unstated is that perhaps John Natalie had had enough of Toni’s “sisterly” presence in his own life.

Toni’s back tattoo is pretentious virtue-mongering, written in dark script across her upper back to display one of her biggest illusions about herself.

The script needs to be amended. It should be seen as a warning label she gave herself, like bad medicine.

“Truth is the first casualty.”

How nauseating can Toni Natalie get? Gazing with a blind and fixed stare at herself in the mirror like a wicked stepmother out of a fairy tale, thinking of herself as “the Good Witch.” Life really does give one the very face which one earns. Hard, hard eyes and always, the look of a poseur. Ah, the naked truth, one of nature’s best and most revealing portraits. Better than any telegraph.

How many times have we learned of Toni, going around behind the backs of others and inserting words, feelings and even false circumstances into the mouths of other people? She does not, has not hesitated, to misrepresent others’ lives, motives and even thoughts and conditions. She seems to like to mess even with people who can no longer say a word. What appears, behind and at the forefront and especially at the core of Toni Natalie’s machinations? The word “guttersnipe” comes to mind, but it’s doubtful that Toni will ever understand what image she’s given to herself. Just an accumulation of burned, charred bridges, still trying, oh-so-haggardly, to look pretty.

I wonder when the portrait of Toni that she hid in her attic was destroyed.

A few thoughts on this – I was looking forward to Toni’s podcast so I could get more details on certain things. Things like how Keith supposedly had a role in John’s death. Things like the dog dying, the breakup with Scott, and details of Toni’s life while living with Keith. Well, we’ll undoubtedly never get a podcast, but we do have this book. While reading the book and the parts about John’s death, the Scott breakup, the dead dog, and living with Keith – one thing immediately jumped out at me. The book was being purposefully vague. There weren’t details. It was always Keith’s fault, but no details or inside scoop.

I’ll say this about John – he did try to protect Toni when she left Keith. He tried to negotiate Toni’s escape. He was scared of Keith’s mind games, but would never consider backing down to Keith.

Insinuating that Keith talked John into suicide is not only a below-the-belt punch at John, it is also a below-the-belt punch at Gina and Heidi. Toni is basically trying to steal the Gina story and plop it on John. Let’s not let this devalue Gina’s story. Gina and John do not belong in the same conversation.

I’m also done giving Chet the free pass that Frank thinks he might deserve. Chet was the one to put this “story” of Toni together in a purposely inexplicit way that made the fiction seem factual. If (and that’s a BIG if) he didn’t know what he was spinning, it’s because he didn’t want to know.

The ridiculous part of this is how unnecessary this bullshit all was. There were enough facts and behind-the-scenes insight to make this a real non-fiction book we all would want to read. But, instead of getting the facts and inside scoop we all wanted, we got the “story”. The only thing missing from the “story” was how Keith forced Toni to live in a 400 sq foot bachelor apartment and she had to wash her dishes in the bathtub.

Maybe Toni thought she needed the “story” to sell the book, but she was wrong. Completely and utterly wrong.

Here’s one positive that came from this “story” and can be used as a defense for Toni: This “story” (that included her dead dog, getting sued into oblivion, John’s questionable death, losing her child, etc.) DID help a little with the media attention in the fight to take Keith down.

Nutjob,

Good point regarding Chet’s involvement, I agree.

I think Chet, at this point in his career, just wants a paycheck and does not give a rat’s ass if Tonie lied or not…So maybe he turned a blind eye.

Can anyone blame Chet now that his career arc has been pretty much shattered?

Toni has to okay everything, Chet is crafting and editing a story for a paying client.

Why should Chet be held to a higher standard than the journalists at ABC, NBC, FOX, and CNN?
LOL, but seriously why?

If Chet didn’t help write the book, Toni would have just paid some unsuspecting Schmuck…

……At least Chet who got totally fucked initially for being a good journalist is a making a living finally.

In other words, don’t deflect Toni’s bullshit onto Chet.

OMG…What kind of person would stoop this low to make others feel badly for them? Isn’t the fact that her brother died at such a young age sad enough? Why does Nata-LIE have to turn his death into part of the fantasy she tells about her life?

Beauty queen. Mob wife. Entrepreneur extraordinaire. Persecuted victim. And the center of the war against Raniere.

If nothing else, Toni – if that’s even her real name – has a vivid imagination.

Despicable!

“OMG…What kind of person would stoop this low to make others feel badly for them?”

People have been known to falsely claim cancer to gin up sympathy.

Some people even solicit money for medical care under false pretenses, which is a crime.

Mr. Parlato, I would like to thank you for being so diligent in chronicling the lies contained between the covers of Toni Natalie’s book. I find myself clicking on these stories with a feeling of dread since there is always someone who suffers a great deal of hurt as a result of these lies.

I don’t have any doubt this woman presents as a psychopath. She cares nothing for those around her and is solely focused on herself. Making Keith Raniere the villain in her life has allowed her to explain away untold deeds that she, herself has committed. Very convenient for a psychopath.

This latest missive talking about her brother’s death would be almost unbelievable if I hadn’t read what has come before this publishing. Thank you for doing your due diligence and reaching out to Ms. LoPresti since she is the one who was there and her recounting of the day John died has the ring of truth about it. The man died of a heart attack because he ignored the signs. End of story.

To spin that unfortunate death into a suicide forced by Keith Raniere once again makes Toni Natalie the centre of the story. She must be the star and not her poor, dead brother. She doesn’t care about the family left behind. She doesn’t care about her mother. John’s death is about her and she tattoos herself with a tribute so anyone who asks about her tattoo will also hear her story. She loves talking about being Raniere’s victim. That is what has come to define her.

The fact Ms. Natalie has, once again, outright lied saying Ms. Keefe visited John shows she has unmitigated gall and just expects she will be believed over someone who was still with Keith Raniere. I believe Ms. Keefe.

Toni Natalie’s lies make those told by Raniere look like amateur hour. He’s the smartest person in the world, he runs faster than Forrest Gump and on it goes.

These stories should serve as a lesson to all that we cannot take the things people say at face value.

Natalie didn’t ignore his symptoms, he contacted his doctor. Natalie is “Patient Zero” because she is first one who scarred herself because of Raniere. At least Natalie (finally) lied about somebody who can’t sue her for defamation, because he’s dead. Where are all of the other lawsuits? All of this b!tching and moaning and no lawsuits? LOL
