Are Allison Mack’s Initials Really Branded on Nxivm Sex Slaves?

The debate continues as to whether or not Allison Mack's initials were included in the brand. While most say it was not, including Keith Raniere, it has been speculated that her initials are included and that Raniere did so in order to put the blame on her if she was caught. While there is no hard evidence of the latter, it is interesting that the AM can be seen right side p but in order to see the K -R one needs to see the brand turned 90 degrees counter clockwise.

By AnonyMaker

I agree that it’s unsettled, and open to interpretation.

However, it’s pretty clear that there are at least two variations of the DOS brand, whether intentional, or accidental or coincidental:

Here is one of the DOS brands:

This one – used as an exhibit at trial – certainly looks like it’s got the extra “leg” added to make it say ‘AM’ as well as ‘KR.’

[Ed. note: This brand with the clearer A-M in it was branded onto a woman whose initials were ironically the same as Allison Mack’s – A-M. This DOS slave told me that at first she thought it was her initials – then when she read Frank Report she realized that they were Allison Mack’s initials.]
Branding marks

This is the sort of thing that I think really does merit further investigation, and that might actually shed some light on the situation if, for instance, either Mack’s pod or all the slaves branded under her supervision bore her marks as well, further indicating her unique role.

If, for instance, those of slaves in Mack’s pod had the extra “leg” to form the AM whereas others did not – leading to some understandable confusion.

We’ve seen that things were very compartmentalized in NXIVM and even in Raniere’s inner circle, which is typical of such groups or cults, so if there was a variation in brands or extra initials inserted into some of them, not everyone could be expected to know about it.

And if so, Mack and anyone in her camp would certainly want to try to sweep it under the rug.

Allison Mack’s role in the branding of other human beings treated as slaves, under the duress of “collateral” blackmail, and in the absence of proper informed consent if not actual deception, is indeed perhaps one of the most damning things.

I think that her willingness to go on the record with the New York Times Magazine as taking credit for it – that’s not just the result of being a bit tired and hungry; it’s the deliberative dedication of someone who might even kill for their guru if necessary.

Initials

[Editor’s note: There are some who believe that the brand might have been meant to spell out KARMA – which would include Keith Alan Raniere’s intitials.]

New York Magazine Had Last Mack Interview

In the New York Magazine article- Inside Nxivm, the ‘Sex Cult’ That Preached Empowerment  by Vanessa Grigoriadis – Allison Mack is mentioned some 25 times.  It was Mack’s last media interview and it was done in Brooklyn – at her apartment – probably some time in the fall of 2017 – some months before she was arrested in April 2018.

She was with Raniere when he was arrested in Puerto Vallarta on March 26, 2018 and arrested herself in Brooklyn on April 20, 2018.

Keith Alan Raniere does not look chipper as he sits in the police car at the moment of the ending of his freedom. On March 26, 2018 – he went from being a slave master of many women to a slave of the US federal government.

To help us further explore whether Mack was on the brand or not – or was on some brands and not others – let us explore what Grigoriadis in her New York Times Magazine wrote about Mack.

In this interview with Grigoriadis, Mack famously takes credit for the brand. I personally have reason to suspect that she did not really create the brand – but was ordered to take credit for it by Raniere.

There is no doubt that Raniere created the actual design of the brand – with some eager support from Mack [more on that in a later post.]

Here is Grigoriadis on Mack:

When I visited Mack in her gorgeous apartment in Brooklyn — paintings by an ex-boyfriend resting against a wall, Palo Santo just burned in an incense dish — she told me this, too. With a bright smile, Mack, who came to Nxivm when she was unhappy with her TV acting career (she asked Raniere to “make her a great actress again”), explained the way DOS worked. She gestured to a beige love seat and asked if I wanted to sit down, near the tape recorders.

The woman who invited you to the group was your master, Mack said, tucking her blue-socked feet under her, or the “representation of your conscience, your higher self, your most ideal.” … Mack said that this was “about devotion” and “like any spiritual practice or religion.”

I thought about free will — did she believe in that?

She said, “You’re dedicating your life one way or another.”

Mack recruited other women and even tweeted at famous women like Emma Watson, inviting them to learn more about her techniques of female empowerment. Many women told me they improved from this scheme, and Mack agreed. “I found my spine, and I just kept solidifying my spine every time I would do something hard,” Mack said passionately. DOS was “about women coming together and pledging to one another a full-time commitment to become our most powerful and embodied selves by pushing on our greatest fears, by exposing our greatest vulnerabilities, by knowing that we would stand with each other no matter what, by holding our word, by overcoming pain.”

When the cauterized brand was introduced, it was a scary experience, like any real rite of passage, but some of them kidded around through it. Even if they cried when they were getting the brand; even if they wore surgical masks to help them with breathing in the smell of burning flesh; even if the brand was much larger than they were told it would be and looked like an ancient hieroglyph; even if they were in a state of sheer terror, they were still able to transcend the fear and cry out to one another: “Badass warrior bitches! Let’s get strong together.”

In yet another pyramid of the scheme, each master was supposed to bring in slaves, and then, to become masters, those slaves would recruit slaves of their own; an estimated 150 women ultimately joined. Some slaves called each other “sisters.” Mack told me each circle was “like a little family.”…

In her apartment, I was surprised to hear Mack take full responsibility for coming up with the DOS cauterized brand. She told me, “I was like: ‘Y’all, a tattoo? People get drunk and tattooed on their ankle ‘BFF,’ or a tramp stamp. I have two tattoos and they mean nothing.’ ” She wanted to do something more meaningful, something that took guts.

To be honest, I was surprised that she was sitting there at all. And Mack told me that she’d been experiencing some anxiety talking to a reporter. It felt “scary and pressureful,” she said. But Lauren Salzman…. helped her by telling Mack to cast her mind back to when she was a child and received praise at the same time that other kids didn’t. This made Mack feel uncomfortable. But now she was surmounting her fear. “So when I was 8, I created a conclusion and built a foundation of my assumptions that was faulty,” she told me. “Now that I’m 35, I can look back at that 8-year-old’s belief. And I can say, ‘Oh, that doesn’t make any sense anymore.’ ” She continued, “Boom, my belief system is upgraded.”

Belief is a tricky thing, particularly when it involves taking responsibility for the idea of branding women and being encouraged to talk to a journalist when it may not be in your self-interest to do so….

Mack was Raniere’s personal slave, according to the F.B.I. ….

Perhaps in order to please him, Mack decided to take on appealing young women as her slaves; she told me she knew she needed to “get right” with her longstanding jealousy issues with younger, more attractive women. Allegations include that late at night, she set up a slave on a walk with Raniere. He blindfolded the slave, led her to what seemed like a shack and tied her to a table, after which another person, whom she hadn’t met before, performed oral sex on her. Mack pleaded not guilty to the charges against her, but eventually people noticed that the symbol branded on the women not only included a “KR” but also seemed to have an “AM.” She may have been, then, both victim and victimizer.

And here we go again with the idiotic kind of analyze a mr anonymaker…

“This one – used as an exhibit at trial – certainly looks like it’s got the extra “leg” added to make it say ‘AM’ as well as ‘KR.’”
No it doesn’t when you don’t temper with it…
The white “outlining” is outside the part of the k only when you outlined it.
When you look at the pics without tempering, you can see that there isn’t a double line, the k lines are identical in both side…
Also it’s obvious that if there is indeed 2 version, one is with a rounded R (which is difficult for a non professionnal), the m is not an M!

“If, for instance, those of slaves in Mack’s pod had the extra “leg” to form the AM whereas others did not – leading to some understandable confusion.”
There isn’t an extra leg, only one when you temper it like you did…idiot!

Like it or not ,it’s not disputable anymore, the records, the witnesses and expert all consider that Allison initial aren’t in this branding…only the idiots around here maintain this version (to support a false allegation made way before the truth was represented in court)

“Allison Mack’s role in the branding of other human beings treated as slaves, under the duress of “collateral” blackmail, and in the absence of proper informed consent if not actual deception, is indeed perhaps one of the most damning things.”
No , it’s not, first because her role is debunked CLEARLY AND UNDISPUTABLY…only conspiracy theorist continue to believe it’s her…
And second, IT’S NOT A CRIME AS SUCH!

“I think that her willingness to go on the record with the New York Times Magazine as taking credit for it – that’s not just the result of being a bit tired and hungry”
So wait…Interviewer point the forced nature , Allison didn’t wanted to do the interview but after a few minutes with Raniere , she accept but…It’s willingly that she did it

See what you did there? no? nothing can be done to salvage you anymore…this level of idiocy is incredible

And of course, let’s forget the collaterals…she was definately not under collaterals (and the court made up those fake collaterals against her, right?)

Also, “that’s not just the result of being a bit tired and hungry”…SHE WAS SLEEP DEPRIVATED AND STARVED SINCE 2013…It’s not a “bit”, it’s a LOT , she was a skeleton at the time of the interview!
And it’s not disputable, they are a few scientific experiment (demanded by Gov agency) that prove that starvation and sleep deprivation have and i cite “catastrophic result on decision making”…

But let’s ignore all this , off course…

“In this interview with Grigoriadis, Mack famously takes credit for the brand.”
She takes credit for many things in this FORCED INTERVIEW UNDER COERCION but yet, the court (smarter than you and knowing better) is not trusting the interview…only idiots still talk about this interview as a “proof”

If anything, it’s a proof she wasn’t willingly following the order as Grigoriadis said that Allison didn’t wanted to do the interview…

“There is no doubt that Raniere created the actual design of the brand – with some eager support from Mack [more on that in a later post.]
Idiot…”ok…ok” is hardly an endorsement!

BTW, funny how the part she supposetly admit that she was behind the branding isn’t quoted (no ” “)…

“In her apartment, I was surprised to hear Mack take full responsibility for coming up with the DOS cauterized brand. ”
Once again, she isn’t quoting Allison and we know AS A FACT that she isn’t behind it…nor she supported it (contrary to what you try to pretend…she just said “ok ok”)

“Lauren helped her by telling Mack to cast her mind back to when she was a child and received praise at the same time that other kids didn’t. This made Mack feel uncomfortable. ”
Doesn’t sound like an hidden threat nor blackmailing….no,no,no…She was willingly doing the interview! idiot!

“Belief is a tricky thing, particularly when it involves taking responsibility for the idea of branding women and being encouraged to talk to a journalist when it may not be in your self-interest to do so….”
Exactly and this is one of the thing starvation is doing…lack of self interest.
During the experiment , one of the subject cut 3 of his fingers…3 of HIS fingers.
And many of the 400 subjects were self mutilating due to the diet…

But starving isn’t an excuse…no…
If atleast you were genuinly and cleverly analyzing but you repeat a KNOWN TO BE fake interview to “prove” your point…if that not’s absurd, what is it?

“Mack was Raniere’s personal slave, according to the F.B.I. ….

“but eventually people noticed that the symbol branded on the women not only included a “KR” but also seemed to have an “AM.” She may have been, then, both victim and victimizer.”
Except it’s debunked and fake…it’s not her initial…unless you temper those pictures (like you did so grossly)

Anonyme – Frenchy? – I’ve cautioned you previously that you may want to be sure that you fully understand what has been written in English before you go making a fool of yourself when you come here. Ne soyez pas si excité quand vous arrivez!*

Yes, there are clearly two significant variations of the brand – ignoring the images with outlining. It’s perhaps better to describe them as one where the third, middle leg is to the bottom or left, depending on how it is oriented; and the other to the top or right. The former looks more like it contains the initials KR and the latter as if it forms AM, perhaps containing a version of KR as well, ignoring whether the little central formation is squared or rounded. The government exhibit is an example of the latter, and as Frank notes even the branded slave herself first read it as AM.

The question isn’t whether there are two versions of the brand, but why and if that has some intended meaning. But apparently such subtleties are lost on you.

And I think that we get at this point, that you will defend anything Mack did as just the result of Raniere’s manipulations, in much the same way as conspiracy theorists will deflect any point of criticism as just further evidence of what they believe in. And as I’ve pointed out, you not infrequently get wrong the facts you attempt to assert, but go blithely along.

Getting away from details that can be nitpicked, in the big picture Mack remained while even other former insiders like Kristen Keefe and Dani resisted and got out. Others started to eat and rest and come to their senses when they had to travel away from Albany, but Mack did not. There is something unique about her case that made her particularly suited to being Raniere’s henchwoman in carrying out the abuses of DOS – besides her being a special someone to you.

Putain?

* For anyone else who knows French, that’s a deliberately awkward use of false cognates

First of all, what kind of idiot allows herself to be branded? Branded like a cow- yeah, real empowering, that!

How in hell’s bells is getting branded by your master a “representation of your conscience, your higher self?” This is the babbling of an idiot. People will believe the most inane stuff… well, some people will, anyway. They’re fools. And of course this nonsense was all phrased in the idiom of spirituality and religion, empowerment and self-realization. Abandon all common sense, ye who enter here!

This is why I have a problem with religion and spirituality. Believe absurdities, and atrocities ensue. These women were partially coerced– that’s where the criminality enters the picture– but most of them seem to have been at least partially willing. Mack certainly was downright enthusiastic. What an idiot.

The cruelty, the savagery, the downright barbarity of branding other human beings staggers belief. It’s literally sadism. Or sado-masochism. This is far beyond mere BDSM or role-play. This is sexual assault. And Mack was proud of it. Not merely proud of it; judging by her freedom in talking of it to a reporter, she seemed to accept branding DOS slaves was meritorious. A great idea, “y’all”.

If any of these women bring charges of sexual assault in coming years, it looks to me like a slam-dunk.

Actaeon, you are 100% Right!
An aspect of this story that I have studiously tried to avoid is pedophilia because it is even uglier than the branding, as if that is possible.
But there is ample evidence that Allison Mack knowingly enabled Raniere’s attraction to underage girls.
Here is a quote from the final days of the trial:

“Jaye told Allison she had Googled Keith and search results showed a story [stories] that Keith was a pedophile [The Albany Times Union reported it first in 2012. Frank Report also had numerous stories on pedo-Keith starting in 2015].”

“Allison (Mack) was upset. She said, ”Do you think I would follow a child molester?”
https://frankreport.com/2019/06/12/trial-tuesday-jaye-assigned-to-seduce-vanguard/

The first time I read that Raniere had taught his followers that sex between an adult and a twelve year old child was “OK” I knew he was a child molester.
And Allison Mack and the other women stuck with Raniere until they were indicted as enablers.

Indeed there is reason to believe that Allison Mack tried to recruit underage girls for Raniere.

“Transcript of interview with neighbor who claims Allison Mack molested 8 year old girl”

“Without disclosing his identity, the Know Woods neighbor who said he saw Allison Mack molest an 8 year old girl knowingly did a taped and filmed interview with me, on-the-record, and was not compensated, in any way, for doing so.”

“For those who blast me for daring to publish this results of the interview, kindly keep in mind that Allison Mack gave Keith Raniere “collateral” that included a letter claiming her nephew was sexually molested.”

“So please – all you screamers – calm down a bit – and let us simply listen to what the neighbor said:
https://frankreport.com/2018/07/03/transcript-from-neighbor-who-claims-allison-mack-molested-8-year-old-girl/

That interview suggests that Allison Mack was grooming a child for sex with Raniere.
Grooming a child is part of child molestation.
That is why I constantly urge the NDNY and the New York State Attorney General to investigate this matter.
And I won’t back down for Nicki Clyne (Mrs. Allison Mack).

Scott, what you’re saying is unclear to me – though I think maybe I’m now seeing what you may be getting at.

Do you think that some of the photographs somehow got reversed? That would seem unlikely given that one key one is a government exhibit, and we have reports that brandees (I think at least two) read “AM” into their brands. Or are you saying that some of the brands might have been put on upside down or backwards (depending on how you look at them), perhaps because someone screwed up with the template for marking them, the the brands themselves being done wrong? That’s the sort of human error that might seem strange at first and yet is actually plausible
.
The “personal incredulity” logical fallacy common to conspiracy theories would say it’s not possible that NXIVM put a backwards brand on a lot of women just by accident, and in this case there are certainly doubts about the plausibility of that happening in multiple instances – though it occurs to me that it also could be that for some reason the limited selection we’re seeing includes a lot of brands from just one session when a mistake was propagated. Yet the history of human foibles is rife with surprising screw-ups – just look at Boeing, for instance, producing a bunch of passenger planes prone to diving into the ground uncontrollably.

Anyway, it seems to me that we still don’t have a solid enough basis for coming to a truly satisfactory conclusion one way or the other.

Anonymaker,

Re Branding letters:

The inverse smaller capital R inside of the large capital K seems completely straightforward….

……. however the brands with the extra lines seem intentionally misleading.

It would be nice to know the brands serial numeric order in which they were done.

Mack was clearly set up by Raniere to be the pasty/fall guy/ wayward follower.

niceguy, thanks for contributing your thoughts.

It would indeed be nice if we had better information. Hopefully some will eventually turn up; that’s been one of my hopes in bringing this up.

Could it also be that Mack decided she would like to have her slaves branded with her initials – or that Raniere suggested it as a special sign of her rank? Or even that she and Dr. Roberts decided on their own to sneak that in?

I think Mack was some mix of victim and perpetrator, but it’s hard to judge exactly. That’s what makes her case intriguing, practically begging for better answers, though I also think it gets more attention than is really merited.

“I think Mack was some mix of victim and perpetrator, ”
Then why do you PERPETUALLY try to prove she was THE perpetrator? you never point the fact that show the victim part of the mix…yet they are definately accessible to your knowledge, you just made the choice to ignore them!

If it’s just sick interest, just read and shut up…
You obviously know nothing (you admit yourself) and certainly nothing about WHO is Allison.

“Could it also be that Mack decided she would like to have her slaves branded with her initials ”
Idiot, the mark (with isn’t showing a A M unless you try to see it) was not on Allison’s slave
Monica Duran said that she thought it was HER initial, Something Raniere probably supported.

In the end, It’s just not her initial, it’s a fact…Court have pointed that it’s not but they surely know less than you…

And “sign of her rank”? you have actually paid attention to the trial instead of making your own story?

SHE WASN’T THE MASTER IN DOS…She was a firstline like a few others.

They were all slaves of Raniere (and All Under coercion, like it or not)

Camilla was technically the Master(but that, you would know if you paid attention to the trial)…

Allison is just another slave, period.

It’s more likely the template was placed upside-down than the photographs being altered. The bottom line is there are no other differences between any of the cauterized scars, with the exception of how the skin healed.

Scott, thanks for following up on this, and clarifying your position. You indeed are seeing something I hadn’t picked up on.

I could buy that the template was flipped around in a typical human screw-up. But I don’t think that some of the brands deliberately being done differently to represent Mack’s initials, can be ruled out, either.

It partly comes down to whether variations of personal incredulity are always fallacious, or may be a test of common sense likelihood in some cases. It would seem reasonable to assume that as a medical doctor, Roberts is at least a competent professional – even if her judgment regarding life situations is suspect – and would have known what she was doing in applying permanent brands, and would have understood what initials were being represented, and thus what orientation the brands should have. That leads me to think it more likely than not that some of the brands were intended to read AM, but it certainly doesn’t prove anything satisfactorily.

Scott Johnson

Again. Except for being backwards, THERE ARE NO DIFFERENCES IN THE BRANDINGS. NONE. ZERO. ZILCH. NADA. Perhaps some of the women were twitching and struggling, the template fell on the floor, and Roberts got a bit nervous and didn’t realize it was upside down, which would be very understandable given the extremely emotional situation.

I’d call being flipped, a significant difference – and again, it caused even some of the slaves to read their brands as “AM.”

But, yes, it’s quite possible that it is the result of some accident or error, rather than being intentional.

There would be no NXIVM DOS without a willing co-conspirator like Allison Mack.

Why is there all of this sympathy for Allison Mack?
She was an eager and willing pimp.
Allison Mack is a big girl who should know the difference between right and wrong.
Allison Mack had every break one can imagine.
A decent career as a character actress.
Enough money to pursue a college education.
Numerous friends.
And Allison Mack still preferred to serve as an extortionist and sex trafficker.

Where is the sympathy for the women who were abused and exploited by Allison Mack?
Those women are the real victims and yet among the commenters on this blog these women are almost an afterthought.

Many of these women, whose first names were mentioned at trial, asked for their blackmail material back.
Yet so far those women still have not received that blackmail material.
This blackmail material was collected and archived by Allison Pimp Mack and its still floating around somewhere on the internet, hanging over the heads of these women.
Someday some of these women might become famous in their own right and yet they might still be vulnerable to blackmail and public embarrassment.
Where is the sympathy for these women who believed Allison Pimp Mack’s lies?

Again with your loose and flaccid arguments, like KAR.

There would be no NXIVM DOS without a voluntary accomplice like Allison Mack.

Without a voluntary accomplice, yes, without Allison, it is nothing more than your usual argument, which underestimates KAR and its ability to guide many women to their destruction.

Why is there such sympathy for Allison Mack?
THAT? , seriously you have to ask me, tell me that another woman of the accused or those involved in the leadership of NXIVM and DOS is continually receiving the attack of a madman obsessed in this blog and do not tell me about what people say on the network , I speak of this blog where at least more general information about the cult is handled, so that any reader has the same opportunities to be informed with Frank’s investigation and the reports of other witnesses. as well as other correspondents who also seek information, I don’t trust people creating their own fantasy stories and then spreading them as if they were truths written in stone.

She was an anxious and willing pimp.
-if you are willing to call all the women in the haren of KAR in this way, I will not object, because it is fair, but if you do that without taking into account that you do not know how many women were anxious and willing to be the whores of KAR, nor to recognize the work of the other women in the leadership of DOS so it is very obvious that your intention is not to demand justice if you do not discharge your obcessive fury with a woman who is already on the ground defeated and confused if you know that the I hit, that’s to make firewood from the fallen tree.

Allison Mack is a big girl who should know the difference between right and wrong.
-Then the other women who gave guarantees and agreed to take the mark, were only small girls, whom an adult took by the hand and abducted them.

Allison Mack had every break one can imagine.
-and how many breaks the other women had, in the leadership of DOS, the haren and the slaves of the lower line, can you tell me how many those breaks were Mr. Shadow, because according to me you only know the same thing that each reader of this blog knows and That is too little, as to determine the situation of each woman individually.

A decent career as a character actress.
Enough money to pursue a college education.
Many friends

– What you say is that someone with these possibilities would never be trapped by a cult, I see that “YOU KNOW” a lot about how cults work.

Where is the sympathy for women who were abused and exploited by Allison Mack?
-in the same place where there is the sympathy for the women who were exploited by Lauren, pam, karen .u, nancy, nicky, camila, dani p, rosa laura, loreta, india, ect.

Those women are the real victims and yet, among the commentators of this blog, these women are almost a late occurrence.
– Well if you talked more about THESE women and not just allison, it would be more fascinating to think about them.

Many of these women, whose names were mentioned at the trial, asked to have their blackmail material returned.
However, so far these women have not yet received this blackmail material.
and whose fault it is, of allison or of the government.

This blackmail material was compiled and filed by Allison Pimp Mack and is still floating somewhere on the Internet, hanging over the heads of these women.
– If she did it with the help of many other women, which you do not mention, in addition, the slave Jay and had the DROOPBOX account crashed and apparently that was normal behavior in the situation of these women in DOS which means that they all had the opportunity to take the frying pan by the handle and take care of facing allison as much as the other leaders of DOS and KAR himself and yet they did not.

Someday, some of these women could become famous in their own right and yet they could be vulnerable to blackmail and public shame.

-It is true but you forget that all 8 frontline slaves were also giving guarantees, which are somewhere in the cloud and this damocle sword hangs over their heads as well.

Where is the sympathy for these women who believed the lies of Allison Pimp Mack?
– again, in the same place where there is sympathy for the women who believed in the lies of all the other leaders of DOS and obedient and enthusiastic slaves like India, like how many slaves so you think they had in DOS Mr. Shadow perhaps what you know.

“receiving the attack of a madman”

I have never branded a woman with a hot iron nor have I asked a woman to be branded.
Nor have I asked a woman to provide me with naked photos or videos that could be used as blackmail.
Nor have I tried to enslave or traffic a woman sexually.

But Allison Mack, who has done all of these things, is not a madwoman.

she was part of a cult, where she was indoctrinated to believe that KAR’s supposed technology and KAR himself were something great and infallible, she like many women before and after beginning to have relations with KAR, was seduced by KAR with the help from his image of a mentor superior to his students, an image that was built collectively, he also had the help of other women who sold allison an idealized image about KAR as a lover, adding to that the hunger diet, lack of sleep, the bombardment of love, and the ability of KAR to suggest ideas in the minds of his followers and remember at all times that these are common tactics used in cults, and it is not like there are few who fall into these tactics, that is If we add the number of people who are there, he thinks about entering a cult in which he believes he will find the answers he is looking for, how much would that number be according to your shadow, and I’m just talking about the United States. Imagine the rest of the world.

But having said all of that, then tell me shadow what is your excuse for your obcession with allison.

About the Author

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
