This is in response to the post, Was Allison Mack Making Plea for Help With Blog Posts?
It might be more fair to say that Mack deserves her upcoming prison sentence. Her ‘despairing’ blog entries struck me at the time, as they still do, as the whining of a privileged upper middle class (i.e., rich) Southern California woman, living inside her own head, obsessed with her own personal fulfillment, her place in the world, her spiritual essence, the state of her chakra, obsessing over whether or not she’s obsessing too much, the whole shit storm of self-indulgence.
Which she seems to think everyone else should be interested in.
She may sound crazy but that’s just California crazy. She’s mildly neurotic at best.

She has made the humdrum realization that her public persona is not her ‘real’ self. So what?
Freud’s ego, superego, and id. This is not news. Everybody with a modicum of self-awareness knows that we present an image of ourselves to the world that is not the same as our inner self, whatever the hell that is. Mack makes a big deal of this in her blog, but it is uninteresting. Yeah, I don’t scratch my balls in public ’cause I don’t want people to know I’m a pig. Everybody’s like that. So what.

Join the club, Mack. Everybody is afraid of intimacy. Everybody finds life confusing at times. Everybody has trouble focusing, gets distracted. Most of us have short attention spans, that’s why more of us watch TV and fewer of us learn Ancient Greek to read Homer’s Iliad in the original. There’s nothing here indicating her blog is a cry for help. Or that she suffers from any diagnosable mental condition.
It certainly doesn’t explain or excuse her criminal behavior.
She’s not “damaged”. This is ordinary everyday stuff. Sure, she dresses it up a bit, waxes poetically about the blowing leaves speaking to her and the feedback bouncing around in her head and similar crap; it’s embarrassingly self-indulgent.
Mack is a competent professional actress. She knows how to play a part. She’s a bullshit artist and she spent the last decade shilling for Nxivm and DOS. Her blog was largely aimed at doing just that.
She was using it to reel in the suckers; don’t be one of those.

From the interviews, her tribute song to KR, there’s no doubt that Allison fully believed in what she was doing. She was perfectly brainwashed into the ever changing ideologies of KR. The process of manipulation is the building up and breaking down of her self esteem to the point where she’s so confused, she’s begging for the answers! Belief in ideology is extremely powerful and makes the believer rationalize their behaviour as the means to the end—shambala, utopia, heaven on earth!
Yet is still doesn’t excuse her conduct. At every point along the way, her inner voice was trying to guide her toward the “right” thing. She knows this now, and it’s that refusal to listen to herself that makes the wound of self deception so agonizing!! Self help turned self sabotage! She didn’t lose her mind, she just made the narcissist sociopath her only source of resolution, twisting her instincts into character flaws, so he can manipulate her into even more extreme behaviour. She handed the keys to her soul to this guy, and has resulted in gaining so many different levels of experience that weren’t advertised in the brochure! She believed in the wrong guru (is there a “right” one?). How do you guys say it…? Viva Executive Success!
It always feels very self-indulgent when people have so much time they can fuss about all this internal stuff. If you have spare time, have a baby or go and wash the feet of the poor.

So answer this: How can a ‘good’ person do the things Allison is accused of doing?
Scratching your balls and Mack being involved in blackmail, sex trafficking, and cauterizing are in two different leagues.
Allison is a wonderful and pure soul. She has been sent to us as a blessing. Don’t listen to the haters Allison!
To all those with nothing better to do than attack her, I say judge not lest ye be judged!

Don’t you understand what is going on?
It’s so obvious anyone can see it.
It’s as plain as the nose on Lauren Salzman’s face.
As long as Allison Mack keeps her mouth shut, she is a hero.
And she will be welcomed back into NXIVM with open arms.
NXIVM has written off Raniere as a lost cause.

For Allison and others, there is a technique called the Johari window that helps people better understand their relationship with themselves and others. Just

Yes, I don’t understand why a doctor would use or allow that even if the patient supposedly consented. It would not be hard to apply a local anesthetic. It would have been similarly symbolic and look better to do a tattoo. Even someone into sexual pain is unlikely to have wanted it at that level, Even if they did it may be too painful to consent to it.
Allison Mack and the other leaders of NXIVM DOS lied to the women, the initiates, and told them it would be a small tattoo.
