Allison Mack Post Reveals Influence Raniere Had Over Her

Allison Mack outside court.

Now that Allison Mack is awaiting sentencing, and a lot of people think the judge should throw the book at her, I want readers to consider the possibility that she was mentally deranged and that Keith Alan Raniere helped her get there.

Back in 2017, she was blogging consistently. While her blog does not seem to be available online anymore, I saved some of her posts.

http://www.allisonmack.com/nourishment/she-stopped-talking-long-enough-to-
listen.

Here is the text of one of Mack’s blog posts. It is called “Stop Talking Long Enough To Listen.”

She is writing about Keith and their Nxivm-based acting course, The Source.

If we are to believe she is sincere, this post helps show what was going on in her head and the way Keith was controlling her thinking.

She wrote this at the height of DOS, when she was already branded and had given life-destroying collateral to Keith, vowing to be his life slave. She had slaves herself. Slaves she had already collected collateral on, for Keith, and had them branded with his initials. She even offered them up for sex with Keith. Nicole and India were already offered to her Vanguard.

I will present her post first in full. Then I am going to break it into two distinct semi-posts, to help show what Keith’s influence was over her.

Complete Text

My mentor, Keith, once gave me a lesson on how to listen, truly listen, almost in a meditative way. He taught me how to hear the euphony of the world.

More often than not, I am spinning in my head consumed with thoughts about what are others are thinking of me, how I can do better and what I’m going to eat for lunch.

The noise in my head is so loud that I can’t hear anything other than the feedback bouncing off the inside of my skull. He taught me to close my eyes, tame my thoughts and really listen… Suddenly, the world sings and becomes symphonic in pattern and texture.

We can take what we experience and make it into art. So it stands to reason that the more deeply I experience existence, the better artist I will be. The Source teaches that and it comes from what Keith shares with his students, taking them on a journey to that depth of one’s life experience and expression. When I saw this video [of Keith], I remembered experiencing the magnificence of sitting still long enough to listen – to hear the world around me. From this stillness comes a freedom – because that voice in my head now seems irrelevant. And so the concert has begun…

With Keith Raniere

bobblehead

Now let’s parse the above post. Here is the part about Keith.

My mentor, Keith, once gave me a lesson on how to listen, truly listen, almost in a meditative way. He taught me how to hear the euphony of the world…

He taught me to close my eyes, tame my thoughts and really listen… Suddenly the world sings and becomes symphonic in pattern and texture.

…  Keith shares with his students, taking them on a journey to that depth of one’s life experience and expression. … I remembered experiencing the magnificence of sitting still long enough to listen – to hear the world around me. From this stillness comes a freedom – because that voice in my head now seems irrelevant. And so the concert has begun…

Without Keith

aal
When she listens to Keith, “that voice in my head now seems irrelevant.”

More often than not I am spinning in my head consumed with thoughts about what are others are thinking of me, how I can do better and what I’m going to eat for lunch.

The noise in my head is so loud that I can’t hear anything other than the feedback bouncing off the inside of my skull.

Of course, one might be skeptical and ask, could that “spinning in her head” be coming from having given Keith collateral and a vow of lifetime slavery? Was the “voice in her head” actually her conscience balking at his gruesome orders to get slaves and fuck toys and collect collateral for possible blackmail of other women?

Was her head spinning at the thought that she was recruiting women to be branded on their public region with a searing, flesh-burning cauterizing pen, carving Keith’s initials?

Perhaps the most telling thing she wrote in this post was: “More often than not I am spinning in my head consumed with thoughts about …  what I’m going to eat for lunch.”

Keith Raniere persuaded all his women to go on – and insisted that they stay on – semi-starvation diets. Allison was consumed with what she was going to eat for lunch, for she was literally starving. She knew she could only eat a few calories of food for lunch. She had to calculate hard on what she would eat to fill her belly and not violate Keith’s orders for her 800 calories a day diet. This took a lot of calculation. The thoughts consuming her about lunch were not the thoughts of an indulgent lady trying to decide whether she would have salmon or steak and chocolate cake for desert.

They were the thoughts of a woman whose body was dying of malnutrition. She had likely stopped menstruating. She was sleep deprived and nourishment deprived. This was his strategy. Keep them frightened, obedient and confused.

She was thinking about whether she would eat 10 calories per serving miracle [squash] noodles, or carrot sticks and celery. She had to calculate whether she could have some dip with that or a spoonful of yogurt. And would she have two or three pieces of sugarless gum at 6 calories each?

Her thoughts were about not starving. And still obeying. And because her brain was underfed, she did not realize the abusive nature of this insane food restriction.

So her thoughts were consumed with what she was going to eat for lunch.

Pity this poor girl. The post above are the words of a sick woman. She is babbling at times and trying to please Keith and giving him credit for all good things, while he is actually systematically destroying her.

Her took from being a famous and beloved actress to a malnourished sex slave and finally a despised convict.

Her post is pathetic, the words of a deeply abused woman, mentally under the thrall of a maniac, and thinking, perhaps, thanks to sleep and food deprivation, that she is being enlightened by a godlike man.

And worse, note the tone of her post – she wants to share this – and him and his teachings – with others, for she thinks it has done her so much good and she thinks it will do others good.

So sad. Truly lamentable.

Her post puts it in perspective. She thinks she was doing good while at the height of confusion.  Her thoughts spinning in her head, until Keith comes and tells her what to do and what to think.

As for the monster, he had his Bronfman millions, and his cadre of inner circle women all extolling him to other women [even to each other] as a god, and Allison [and the others] fell into this ugly world as if there was a hole on earth and one could accidentally step into it and fall into hell.

Such was the craft of the evil master that the women thought, as they were destroying themselves and each other, that they were part of a glorious new world mission to create a more noble civilization.

While in this hellish slavery, Allison’s purported business was the Source. It was meant for actors.

Keith Raniere was well fitted to teach people how to act.  Conman and criminals have to be good actors if they are to succeed.

Keith’s role – and he was the best – was that he was a genius and a saint when, in reality, he was a monster who had only one goal- to please himself.

And one of the things that pleased him best was watching the destruction of others.  He ran this acting game for decades. Thinking he would never get caught.

He only miscalculated once really. He never realized that such a thing as karma exists. It was really a fairly giant blunder.

strange article

5 years ago I spoke to a friend of mine about the book she had about a man calls Keith Rainier she said she went to school with him in sixth and seventh grade in New York and that he had a very high IQ about 250 IQ , and I looked at the cover of the book and told her that man looks like a sociopath psychopath con artist serial killer and that he looks like a manipulator and someday he will get caught and that I definitely be afraid of being alone with that men even though I did never met this man in my life just looking at the cover picture of Kate Rainier gave me the crips and she swear. I was wrong , she read a few pages from his book and I told her I was not able to understand anything she just read from his book all sounded not right I don’t know how to explain it it shows nothing makes sense not anyting make sense on that book. Rainier wrote, I wonder today watching things that’s what I told her, how about what I saw on that cover from that book about this picture on some of his writing ,psychopath sociopath con artist manipulator serial killer ,that’s why my prediction was right she live in Connecticut Stanford with his books , I wonder if she still has those books,? I wonder if she keep telling people that she went to school with Him in high school in New York upstate? Me and her we no longer talking for another reason after all she’s also born under the sign of Virgo just like Keith Rainier, I figure out she was a sociopath psychopath controlling Con artist I ran out of her sight. But other people are her friends because they are very afraid of her to get away from her side she’s also a Virgo just like Keith Renier.

“They were the thoughts of a woman whose body was dying of malnutrition. She had likely stopped menstruating. She was sleep deprived and nourishment deprived. This was his strategy. Keep them frightened, obedient and confused.”
Especially obedient and confused…

“Her post puts it in perspective. She thinks she was doing good while at the height of confusion. Her thoughts spinning in her head, until Keith comes and tells her what to do and what to think.”
This isn’t the only post that show how much control he had over her…but that is ,of course, not enough and while other are allowed to be seen as victim, she is permanently refused that statut (despites the proofs).

“Keith’s role – and he was the best – was that he was a genius and a saint when, in reality, he was a monster who had only one goal- to please himself.”
And unfortunaltely, this is the opinion that not only Allison had..this is why people like Dani , Cami and some others got stuck in this case…
Once again, despite the proofs, some are admitted as victims while Allison isn’t.

For the umpteenth time, it’s not an either/or. Mack and many others were both victims and eventually became perps.

Sounds like she had anxiety and Raniere taught her how to meditate. That doesn’t excuse her for being an accomplice. And those brands also had her initials.

Which brand had her initials? I think it was sloppy cauterizing and/or the scar healed in a distorted manner.

No, they didn’t…The court case clearly stated that it WASN’T HER INITIALS!
If you stopped listening to people like Shadow and some others who twist the facts, you’d know this.

Facts about the branding:
-All DOS “masters” asked for it to be done (Sarah is the slave of Lauren)
-Allison didn’t create the branding (contrary to what she said in the false interview she was FORCED to give)
-Allison didn’t come with the idea (recording show it’s Raniere’s idea)
-Allison’s initials weren’t included
-Allison was branded herself…why brand yourself with your initials?

First off, Frank is clearly not in love, he is switching between the guilty/not guilty depending on the amount of articles he can write…also to bait low lifes like you to answer (because the hate of the low lifers brings CLICKS too)

Second: This letter means a lot about her state of mind (like Frank pointed, this is at the “height of DOS”…
This isn’t the only text that shows a lot about her feeling being conflicted.
She is stuck like the other victims by her collateral and has to answer to a mad man.

In the trial, this point (influence of Raniere due to collateral) was used to explain WHY THE VICTIM DID “WILLINGLY” FOLLOW HIM…
This text is just showing that Allison was in the same position and in a worse position due to her extreme diet.

Pity her I do not, yes she may have been abused into being evil but once you cross that threshold there’s only a few that ever come back she gave in and took pleasure in what was happening, she is very ill and her poison does not need to be released on an already sick and malleable public.

Excuse me, but she didn’t do more than the victim themselves, so what?
She didn’t take pleasure (her posts are getting darker in term of the way she was feeling inside…it’s clear she was not agreeing to do what she was FORCED to do…
She IS COLLATERALIZED like the others and she WAS UNDER AN EXTREME DIET AND SLEEP DEPRIVATION.

She didn’t do anything violent, no abuses but taking the collateral.
And if you consider it’s an abuse or it’s violent, then I remind you that she was under the SAME TREATMENT and therefore, it’s changing the situation for a perpetrator to a victim.
She had a “virtual gun on her head”.

Now grown women are to be treated as children when they make bad decisions and allow themselves to be manipulated and commit crimes because of their psychological flaws.
Forget the fact that they are adults.
Forget the fact that they have all of the rights males do.
Forget the fact that they allowed themselves to be used as tools for evil.
Forget all of the evil acts they committed.
Forget all of the crimes they committed.
Forget all of their victims, many of whom are their fellow women.

Women are now to be regarded as weak, helpless, frail, feeble-minded creatures in need of eternal protection from their own weaknesses.
Women are now to be regarded as prone to manipulation and in desperate need of adult supervision to protect them from their own natures.
If one believes women are this weak perhaps one believes that women don’t deserve the right to vote.

NXIVM its female leaders have done more to hinder female empowerment than Donald Trump and all of the male chauvinists in America could have ever dreamed of achieving.

Whatever Mack wrote while she was in Raniere’s thralldom had to be designed to please, support and flatter his egomaniacal identity and its demands. Once she started having sex with him, she was in for Raniere’s worst kind of “therapies.” But Allison wanted to get close to him. She wanted more status within the group and knew that the women with the most so-called advantages were the ones who were closest to the throne. So Mack wrote her trite and gushy new-age styled testimonials with an aim to impress him, and she also dipped them into her personal supply of mawkish Hallmack glitter. Mack was delivering, as expected, like an enthusiastic parrot. She probably still has no idea how easy it was to use her, but cult manipulators see neediness as a calling card.

Her dippityheaded sentimentality, as expressed in her important little blogs, is syrup on top of shit. She went step by step down the culty slippery slope, allowing Raniere’s sexual obsessions and his really quite transparent lies to become her truth, her career, her entire environment. Here at last, is where Allison Mack had found meaning in life. She swallowed the crooked lovebomb hook. This epiphany, this “euphony” came her way from a brilliant man and here’s a brilliant quote from his howliness, the unmagical perv.

“Many will not know of my existence; some already don’t.”

Well for crying out loud, what a revelation. Give me a moment to let it to subside. It could be the hilarious ramblings of a self-aggrandized blathering dunce, except for all of the harm done, and still being done, by Raniere and company.

A quote from the cult’s stinking publicity armory:

“Allison is currently working on the development of a unique and poignant organization. Stay tuned for more details….”

Was this putting lipstick on the monstrous batch of pigs who became DOS? Yes it was, but hey, let’s call it unique and poignant. Well, Allison and company, here’s to pain and here’s to the smell of burning flesh. Here’s to voluntary enslavement, and here’s to you frigging abusive morons getting some just desserts. Here’s to not thinking a whole lot of things over and ignoring the red flags. If only Allison Mack had taken off her blinders about who Raniere is and who he isn’t. But she was a grown woman when she decided that she wanted to be wanted by him. Here she is in all of her glory, giving her clarion call.

” More often than not I am spinning in my head consumed with thoughts about what others are thinking of me….”

She is describing a state of mind symptomatic to several personality disorders. A mind full of anxious uneasiness, a sense of feeling “consumed” by one’s own thoughts, a histrionic need for approval or attention, an unrealistic and heightened sense of needing to prevail in all personal interactions but never feeling any satisfaction, for the compulsions keep arising. Either she arrived at Nxivm ripe for the picking or she was slowly inculcated, but Keith saw that he could run her like a yo-yo.

Allison had a career recruiting for a conman. She traveled a lot and one hears that she got to eat more that way, too. She liked the spotlight and the societizing role gave her panache, acting as the ladyship of eminence. She was like Old Faithful about it all. But it was so much more than that. She was worshipping and desiring a smelly hairy couch potato who liked to use gatherings such as evening volleyball as his arena to pick up fresh sexual prey. She was fully aware that her duties entailed getting Raniere’s sexual habits fulfilled. One wonders who would ever want to go to bed with such a pretentious royal highass chucklehead as Keith Raniere.

But look no further. Allison Mack wanted him, and she wanted him bad. She thought his whole schtick was not only spiritual but spiritually glamorous. She wanted him so badly that her superheroine name could be Blunderwoman. She had to be the soloist in Fatso’s chorus. She held women down to be branded, pretending it wasn’t at Raniere’s command. She had slaves. She was even happy to sit around on the floor at Stumpo’s feet and take turns slurping his schlong with what she called her sister wives. All in the name of women empowering women.

Their Godhead. First and foremost, a pedophile. His euphemisms about how spiritually cool it was for His Specialness to be humping adolescents were accepted as an example of how he was always so generous. Benevolent. He gave out 20 year emotional “coupons” for avatar babies to keep the older slaves dreaming.

The Blowhard. A man who pretended not to need sleep but who skulked off and slept all day so he could operate his semi-impotency all night. A man who barked and pawed at women and grunted like a hog when they opened the fridge door, a man whose word was no better than his pecker, which still had to be sucked off at “staff” meetings even at half-mast, a man who hid in a closet when the lawmen finally came to confront him. A coward who was all fuckered out.

Allison was never a robot or an automaton. Every moment, during all of this involvement of hers, she could have woken up and made a decision to look at it all, privately and realistically, and at the very least, to leave it in the rear-view mirror. Maybe she just wasn’t ever capable. Instead she waited until making a plea deal to offer any shred of awareness about the stark obviousness of how slaves and branding weren’t working out for her, but maybe only because she got caught. Who can be sure how sincere that plea speech was?

Strike one? She is an actor. Strike two? Her plea speech was somewhat a dirge of mournfulness rather than one of comprehension and repentance. Strike three? Testimony about her actions and behavior from witnesses during Raniere’s trial was loaded against her by their truthfulness. Judge Garaufis has heard it all, including the prosecutors’ recommendations.

If she is really ready to free herself from years of destructive choices, perhaps it will show when Allison Mack receives her sentence. Has she sought out professional help to assist her in freeing her mind of Raniere’s conditioning, to divorce herself from the group’s lifestyle, its criminal activities and Raniere’s sexual dictatorship?

If she or anyone is still into Raniere hardcore, their choices and actions aren’t rational. It’s reasonable to fanatics to justify themselves as part of an entity/identity that is above the law; their infrastructure is seen as a law unto itself. Raniere had his own governing body of eager representatives, supplicants, sexual idiots and litigation freaks. He used them to endanger themselves and others and to do harm.

Why would the hardcore devotees change their tune now? Who would trust them? They just need time to rearrange positions and strategies. Raniere can become a martyr plus Santa Claus figure, and there will be a certain someone running things while Clare is “away.” I think Clare has pre-arranged all of that and has temporarily handed the reins to a financially very well-placed Mexican party of interest. Maybe Clare was going to give that person a side order of Nancy Salzman to help the cause, via collect calls from prison.

But Nancy has been pissy, the word is out and Clare has pragmatic attorneys and accountants who likely changed her mind about Nancy’s usefulness. It might have disintegrated. Raniere-wise, Clare Bronfman might think of Lauren and/or her mother as SPs now. It is doubtful that Clare thinks of Allison much at all, like the way devout Scientologist John Travolta has been said to think of his massage boys. Allison used to be convenient, but she was a zilch. Now she’s an inconvenient zilch.

This is why I’ve been against attacking the women from the start. Some of the longer-term ones might not have started as part of the flock. But poor women like Mack, Oxenburg, and Clyne fell into an industrial indoctrination machine. Poor (at the time) kids never stood a chance.

“This is why I’ve been against attacking the women from the start.”

Yes, women should be immune to criticism when they allow themselves to be used as tools for crime.
By your reasoning because your family pet lacks the ability to discern right from wrong, women are about as responsible as a pet dog or cat that is not yet paper trained.
If women want rights and want to be treated as adults, then they should take responsibility for when they commit crimes.

Does NXIVM’s Society of Protectors work by protecting women from the bad consequences of their own decisions?

I never said they should be immune to criticism, but many, you in particular, seem to forget that they were indoctrinated. They had they’re heads so fucked up that they thought they were helping the women they sinned against, that all this was making them and their victims stronger and better people. Yes, They need to face justice, but they, and any equally brainwashed men, should not be considered evil in the same way Keith is. They are sick, and they need to be led back to who they were before as much as they need to face justice. Some are more or less culpable than others, but all but a small number of NXIVM members were probably good people once upon a time and with help could be again.

Here’s a response:

“you in particular, seem to forget that they were indoctrinated. ”

Germans were indoctrinated to believe in Nazism so Germans should be blameless for the crimes of the Nazis.

Boo Hoo Hoo, we’re all victims.
No one is responsible for anything.

Blame it all on Hitler.
Blame it all on Raniere.

Don’t blame it on Clare Bronfman.
Don’t blame it on Sara Bronfman.

Don’t blame it on Nancy Salzman.
Don’t blame it on Lauren Salzman.

Don’t blame it on Allison Mack.
Don’t blame it on Nicki Clyne.

Don’t blame it all on Brandon Porter
Don’t blame it on Danielle Roberts.

Don’t blame it on Emiliano Salinas.
Don’t blame it on Alex Betancourt.

You Liberals and your Blameless Society have turned New York and /California into hellholes.
A New Jersey Judge claims a teen rapist deserved leniency because he came from a good family.

A New Jersey judge who argued for leniency for a 16-year-old accused of rape because he “came from a good family” has resigned, according to the New York Times.

Liberal? Wow, I’ve never been accused of that before.

But again. I never said they’re blameless. They should absolutely face justice. But are they necessarily evil? Some might have already been terrible people, Brofman in particular. Probably Nancy as well. But for most? They’re on the level of the paranoid schizophrenic that attacks their boss because he’s been replaced by a CIA robot. Sick people that did bad things but who ultimately need treatment.

I’m assuming you haven’t read anything about cults or human psychology in general? Read the book Rick Alan Ross put out. Blaming society is a lot different than blaming a dedicated and skilled manipulator that made it a point to turn your brain to mush.

Was Mack a sadist? We don’t know.

But we do know that, at some point, she turned into one.

Just like soldiers turn into killing machines on the battlefield, with little regadd for the humans they slaughter. Oh, the rage.

Or just like a smiling, pretty lass by the name of Eva Braun, who never hurt a flea, but married a monstrous beast until death did, in fact, do them part.

Like the Manson ladies who carved Sharon Tate open like a canned ham–and who today seem so harmless.

I would give my eye teeth to very objectively interview some of these women. Any of them. Fair. Objective.

Hitler never won popular vote, yet the desperate worshipped him. He had the Messianic complex.

So does Raniere.

He got into the heads of the needy, and turned them into something they weren’t.

I don’t know the players. But I doubt the beautiful, smiling Allison and others started out evil.

Look at history. Look at the Germans. Look at Eva Braun.

Look at Hitler.

Look at Raniere.

Is anyone reading into an extremely objective interview?

She’s not absolved of guilt and she deserves consequences as the law allows…

but personally, my opinion of Allison changed when I heard the audio recording of her and Keith having a conversation while walking. I don’t feel like digging it up right now but at one point, she begins to weep when Keith criticizes her, and it was heartbreaking. I’ve known women in abusive relationships and those situations can be complicated. This was like an abusive partner multiplied by 1000 because Allison worshiped Keith beyond what a normal partner would feel. She was an abused and manipulated human being.

And reading the blog post in this article just affirms that. Wow. It’s so sad.

Of course, some people simply don’t possess the level of empathy to feel any sorrow for women in abusive relationships. You know, the people who are like “why doesn’t she leave? it’s her fault that he beats her because she just stays there and takes it!”

Real life is complicated and it can’t simply be broken down into “good vs. evil.”

Real life isn’t fucking Star Wars, bad guys vs good guys.

Human beings are more complex than that.

Again, she’s not innocent, but for fuck’s sake, she deserves some sympathy.

A sadistic because, if there were 8 frontline slaves and she was one of them, and they all agreed to do what Keith asked them, believing in the reasons Keith gave them, then she is following a belief that as we saw through several testimonies of women who spoke with Frank, but Lauren’s testimony at the trial indicated most of these women encouraged each other to believe in Keith and his crazy teachings, full of half-truths, crooked and taken out of the corresponding context, now if she was a sadica, the same can also be said of all other women regardless of whether they feared the guarantee or not, since no one forced them to give guarantee in the first place, they were only convinced and deceived, no one forced them to the force to receive the hot mark, they were simply pressured to believe that there is no turning back and that way through a system of conviction, deceit, manipulation and coercion, Keith Raniere managed to build an army of slaves that happened to be 8 frontline slaves to be 150 women, of which many went silent when Frank broke the story of DOS and the brand, others left when Sarah Edmondson also spoke publicly in NY TIMES but even so the DOJ only had two women as witnesses, who were previously convinced by Frank to denounce and testify, I wonder what happened to Sarah Edmondson because she was not called to testify, it will be because she was a 2nd line slave and I manage to recruit her own slaves, like India oxembert and many other women, I ask you to consider this fact before calling her sadica, since this would mean that she enjoyed infringing pain and suffering on other people, but we have a a group of 150 women doing this to each other and remember that DOS worked under a pyramid scheme based on 666, so each slave had to recruit 6 slaves and become a slave teacher and thus enlarge the group and whether the women had blind faith in KAR or if they were only afraid of the guarantee or trusted each other or simply was a combination of feelings and thoughts upset by the indoctrination created and designed by KAR, the truth is that if Frank does not reveal this story when he did it today, we would talk about 150 you die if you do not tally 500 or more and that only tells us that it was the indoctrination of KAR that really does the trick, since if nanien is revealed even if a few left, but remained silent in the end nothing changes.

This is a typical basis for high control group or cult indoctrination.

It sounds like she was taught something like a basic meditation technique based on noticing the chatter of the mind (someone else has already reference “monkey mind”), that by itself is probably even helpful – there’s research demonstrating the benefits of basic mindfulness mediation. To someone not familiar with, say, Buddhism, it can seem unique and wonderful.

Typically, she would also have have been taught to extend that into “thought stopping” – not allowing herself to listen to, or even repressing, thoughts questioning what the group or guru is telling her.

There’s probably even more indoctrination behind it, though it’s not obvious from this limited example.

And the use of “euphony” reminds me of the sort of terms used in Waldorf schools such as Raniere attended, where for instance there is the practice of “eurythmy,” a particular way of moving that founder Rudolph Steiner thought children should be taught.

Getting a little tired of the media painting her as the victim. She did the exact same things he did and is just as guilty. There’s nothing she’s innocent of. She knew that she was torturing women kept as slaves. There’s literally no defense for her.

By this line of reasoning Clare Bronfman, Lauren Salzman and Kathy Russell would also be victims of Raniere.
Even Nancy Salzman, the alleged reincarnation of Hitler, would also be considered an alleged victim of Raniere.
Because they were all manipulated by Raniere.

And yet without the dedicated hard work of all these so-called victims Raniere would just be a lonely conman with taste for pizza.

The sorry truth is that many people in NXIVM, because of personal psychological flaws, allowed Raniere to manipulate them.
Allison Mack had the financial resources to leave NXIVM at any time.
Allison Mack traveled all over the world.
Allison Mack always had communications access via phone and internet to the whole world.
As much as Albany might seem like Smallbany it has transportation access to New York City, Boston, Montreal, Buffalo and other major cities.
Allison Mack had access to an automobile and train and airline transportation.
Allison Mack had her own apartment in Brooklyn, 150 miles from Clifton Park.
She was in NXIVM and Clifton Park because she wanted to be.

Allison Mack enjoyed demeaning women.
Allison Mack enjoyed dominating women.
Allison Mack enjoyed torturing women.
Her behavior gave Allison Mack a sense of power.
And power is an aphrodisiac.

At what point do we begin to regard Allison Mack as a grown woman who made her own choices and not like a frail helpless little girl?

Shivani said it well with this post:

Shivani: Allison Mack Fed Her Ego With This Garbage

“Imagine how much trouble people could save themselves by just saying “no” instead of bending over backwards trying to cooperate with something, aspects of which don’t feel right, acceptable, intelligent, respectful or appropriate.”

Actaeon said it well with this post:

Actaeon: Allison Mack ruined her own life – no one did it to her!
April 29, 2019
By Actaeon

“As one commenter said, Allison Mack “didn’t have a choice…” This is where I disagree.”

“She was under no compulsion, she had every opportunity to leave Nxivm.”
https://frankreport.com/2019/04/29/guest-view-allison-mack-ruined-her-own-life-no-one-did-it-to-her/

And at this point I must make note of this comment that was made just yesterday (7-25) by someone who dealt with Allison Mack quite recently:

Stef Mayhem
July 25, 2019 at 2:46 pm
“I had a 3-day interaction with her (Allison Mack) in Manhattan post her plea of guilty in court. She came in weepy and then flashed a smile. Second day asked me if I needed help with the dishes. The third day, she started off with “Hey girl” she’s a monster!”
https://frankreport.com/2019/07/24/allison-mack-the-gruesome-details-of-a-sex-slave-master-part-i/

At this point I noted that in pre-trial hearings the ACTRESS Allison Mack would come into court cracking jokes and laughing while cloaking her joviality with a well placed scarf.
When the Judge came in Allison Mack turned as sober as a preacher’s wife.

Allison Mack is an entertainer who likes putting on a show.
Allison Mack is like the proverbial class clown who likes to entertain people and be the center of attention.

Allison Mack is a con artist skilled at manipulating people.
I know someone who dealt with Chicago’s serial killer John Wayne Gacy, the killer of 33 plus boys.
Gacy deliberately ingratiated himself with the police and local politicians.
Gacy liked to dress up like a clown to entertain children.
John Wayne Gacy could meet you and in five minutes be your friend.
And in ten minutes Gacy could be your best friend.

I am not impressed with Allison Mack’s bogus show of contrition.

He zoomed right in onto her vulnerabilities and exploited them ruthlessly. Tha is his strategy for everyone he comes into contact with. That’s what makes him a sociopath. How much that absolves her of her subsequent crimes, is a matter to be considered.

They both seemed able to provide what the other wanted, but none of it was healthy, and it could only end the way it did.

Thank you, Frank. It’s good to see you write this about Allison. I think too often it’s been very easy to see her, in particular, as an evil sadist. I think Allison is both perpetrator and victim. Keith victimized her, or, as he told Mark Vicente, he was trying to break Allison. He had a long time to get in her head and mold her into the monster slave master we learned about in court. And, he succeeded in making her a monster, through word salad, starvation and cruelty.

Does Allison deserve prison? Absolutely. But she was a very naive, sheltered young woman when she started taking NXIVM classes. She wanted to find meaning in her life, outside of acting. The love bombing by Nancy, Pam and company brought Allison into an organization that gave her a group to belong to, and a purpose or direction that she didn’t have as an actor. Could she have found the tools and purpose that NXIVM offered her in the self help section of her local book store or library? Yes. But, it would have been a lonely journey for a young woman who wanted somewhere to belong. NXIVM’s instant family must have been a heady, seductive experience for her.

The picture of Allison that emerged from the court proceedings is pretty ugly, and such a contrast from her blog posts, like the ones you have published. In her own words, it’s clear that she is idealistic and searching for a better world and to make herself a better person. Unfortunately, Keith poured garbage into her and warped her. I hope that she is getting therapy, and has taken a long time to consider all that has happened to her, and the awful things she did. She has a lot of work to do to make amends for all that she did in NXIVM and DOS. Some people will never forgive her. Some will always see her for who she became in DOS.

However long she stays in prison, there is still time to make a life after. It may not be anything she ever envisioned, but it can still be a life worth living. But hopefully she will be cautious and thoughtful, and not place her trust in just anyone. Hopefully she will emerge from this a wiser human.

“I think too often it’s been very easy to see her, in particular, as an evil sadist.”

How many people do you know who readily pick up a hot cauterizing iron and brand women like cattle?
——————————–
“she was a very naive, sheltered young woman when she started taking NXIVM classes. ”

Allison Mack grew up around Los Angeles and lived in Vancouver, both of which are big cities with big city problems.
She also had troubled relationships with boyfriends who were hardly conventional.
One boyfriend had a father who had been accused of child abuse.
——————————
“The love bombing by Nancy, Pam and company brought Allison”

Allison Mack is a victim of insincere flattery.
Boo Hoo Hoo.

Mack didn’t herself brand anyone, as far as I’m aware. But she does have significant culpability for having arranged and overseen the branding ceremonies, including being involved in the coercion and deception that lead up to them.

Unless there’s some confusion of identical, unusual, names, the father of her first long-term boyfriend and financee – who was reportedly manipulative and abusive himself – was convicted of pedophilia, and is a registered sex offender. I may dig into the issue and settle it, if I have time to do the research necessary. And hopefully someone writing about the case, is digging into details like that and interviewing people.

I believe that it is no coincidence that Mack’s first boyfriend had a father who was convicted of pedophilia and that Mack herself ended up romantically entangled with a reputed pedophile.
Nor is it a coincidence that Mack’s ideal form of blackmail material (so-called collateral) involved allegations of pedophilia.
And the theme of pedophilia, whether it involves Mack’s questionable behavior with the 8 year old gymnast girl or the importation of teen age girls from Chihuahua Mexico or Mack’s mysterious visit to Northern Ireland, repeatedly keeps popping up in Mack’s involvement with NXIVM.

Shadow – you forgot one. ‘Andi Mack’ actor, Stoney Westmoreland, was arrested for trying to have sex with a 13 yr old girl. Coincidence? I think not.

What a stupid statement you make again…this is showing the power of your hate!

“Nor is it a coincidence that Mack’s ideal form of blackmail material (so-called collateral) involved allegations of pedophilia.”
Except, it was Raniere’s idea…it was said when she said to Raniere “What if I didn’t commit any crime”

“And the theme of pedophilia, whether it involves Mack’s questionable behavior with the 8-year-old gymnast girl or the importation of teenage girls from Chihuahua Mexico or Mack’s mysterious visit to Northern Ireland, repeatedly keeps popping up in Mack’s involvement with NXIVM”.
How about you stop with these fake stories? This is absolute BS and proved to be so; so now stop using that…
Oh, but you can’t because you try to make A FALSE POINT and this even if it means sharing LIES!
moron!
And before you go and show the picture about Ireland, this is out of context…she was doing a Con in England and you might be too undereducated to know but it’s quite close to Ireland.
She visited a couple of friends.
But of course, you needed to try to tie it to a crime…like when she got in Venezuela, it was definitely not because of a CON but because she was fleeing.
moron!

“Mack didn’t herself brand anyone”, no need for this as far as I’m aware…it’s a fact

“But she does have significant culpability for having arranged and overseen the branding ceremonies, including being involved in the coercion and deception that lead up to them.”
No, she didn’t, plus the coercion she was herself victim was enough to push others to BURN THEMSELVES but not enough for her to COLLECT THE COLLATERAL…
What a great analsis of the situation (from a limited brain)

Deception that once again, she was victim herself and this isn’t recognized for her…so why should it be for the other victim? double standard much?

“Unless there’s some confusion of identical, unusual, names, the father of her first long-term boyfriend and fiance – who was reportedly manipulative and abusive himself – was convicted of pedophilia, and is a registered sex offender. And this is all BS and you know it…
Plus excuse me but what about you diggin a fking life?

Admitting it’s true (which you failed SYSTEMATICALLY TO PROVE) what does this have to do with Allison?
It just shows that her BF had a bad father…
Just like a parent can be a good person and have bad kids!
This is just another case of “I have so much free time that i’ll search anything (and everything) I can against her…even it it’s concern only the brother of the cousin of a relative of the neighbor of Allison”

GET A LIFE!

Shadow,
Just because you live in a big city does not make you world wise. When you spend all your time with people who do the same things you do, live the same way you do and think the same way you do, you can become very insulated from the rest of the world. She had relationships with people who were in the same industry as she was or her father’s industry. Allison literally went from one echo chamber to another when she left LA and Vancouver to move to Albany. If you had bothered to finish quoting what I wrote where I stated that bringing Allison into NXIVM gave her a group to belong to, you would have gotten my point. She was not worldly: she simply switched from one group who thought like she did to a new group that thought like she did.

She was not just a victim of insincere flattery. She was a victim of Keith’s calculated manipulation, aided by Pam and Nancy and the Bronfmans.

I really don’t get your creepy obsession with Allison. You seem to feel the need to pillory her constantly. She was one of many people who did terrible things at the behest of Keith. She was literally groomed for this by Keith and by Pam Caffritz, Nancy Salzman and others. And, quite literally, Clare Bronfman tried to destroy people through her never ending lies and lawsuits. Pam groomed children for Keith and took women for abortions. Nancy harangued people like Dani, and parroted Keith’s bullshit beliefs about pedophilia being ok.

What was described in court about Allison is pretty awful stuff. But, no reasonable human ever says anything like “I give you permission to enjoy it” about an assignment to have sex with someone (what kind of assignment is that anyway?) or holds another human down while they are being branded and tells them to “think of your master.”

There is no excusing what she did, but it doesn’t mean she didn’t go into NXIVM an awful person. The never ending word salad, group think, and starvation probably played a large role in shaping the terrible human we learned about in court. Hopefully one day, Allison will look back on this with shame and regret. Hopefully she will have learned something.

NCGirl: While I do appreciate the fact that you at least try to see the situation with a reasonable eye, you can’t complain about Shadow if you don’t stick yourself with the facts…

“What was described in court about Allison is pretty awful stuff.”
She spoke crudely but she did NOTHING MORE THAN COLLECTING COLLATERALS
And her victim ended sending a thanks while leaving…Allison saying “I failed you”
This is showing such a “monster” she is.

I doubt you have paid attention to the trial because the “I give you permission to enjoy it”, I have HUGE doubt that it ever happened as the date is unclear but would be around the time Allison was in LA for her play…
Also, the “victim” was INDIA’s VICTIM…not Allison’s.
At first, Allison wasn’t part of this part of the crime…but somewhere between Raniere’s indictment and hers, something was changed in the case and Allison became to be solely responsible for both case (which I Don’t Believe)

Nicole is the victim…

“holds another human down while they are being branded and tells them to “think of your master.””
They were forced to say it by Raniere…you really haven’t paid attention to the trial in fact!
The recording shows that he was behind this sentence too…he was behind the WHOLE ceremony.
And the branding should have NO IMPACT AS IT WAS A DECISION MADE BY PARTICIPANTS AND THEY WERE EVEN HOLDING EACH OTHERS…if you want to make it look like a crime, it meant that each participant would be criminal too and if you go about the collaterals, then Allison is in the same position.
She did nothing more than collecting collaterals.

“There is no excusing what she did,”
Oh but there is …Diet, No sleep and COLLATERALS!

Honestly she would’ve faired better if she had just taken up yoga or a good meditation practice. That would’ve helped calm her “monkey mind” as they say.

Have you tried contacting Mack and/or her lawyers to see if she wants to spill the beans? She doesn’t have to count them any longer, she can eat as many as she pleases, at least until she is locked up.

About the Author

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
