Think of this, when you are inclined to parse the difference between Epstein and Mack: She is an adult woman, well versed in the rhetoric of “female empowerment” and familiar with all of the rhetoric of today’s feminism. Yet, of all of the men I know, many of them quite conservative and traditional, not one would talk about branding women like cattle and turning them into sex slaves.
Epstein is not accused of wanting to brand women.
Let me explain further how ruthless is this woman that so many defend on this forum:
In order to become a First Line DOS slave – which had special privileges in Raniere’s hierarchy – Allison gave collateral [blackmail worthy material] which included false confessions meant to destroy her family.
She gave this to Raniere to hold over her.
Her brother is about two years older than her and has a good job in the field of education. Allison Mack’s bogus, lying story about him – when she gave collateral – about her nephew being molested by her brother – could have destroyed her brother’s career. Yet she put this in Raniere’s hands to release if she did not do what he wanted. She gave this collateral to advance in the organization.
Allison’s father has a career as a vocal coach and conducts a church choir. She gave [once again, false] collateral that he molested her when she was a child. She would have destroyed her brother and her father with lies to advance her role in Raniere’s enterprise.
Yes, Epstein was a blackmailer and perv. His blackmail, I suspect, by the way, was based on true crimes of men abusing young women and girls, and not made up lies about his own family.

Allison Mack is not really less culpable than Epstein.

In the end, Epstein will stand trial or plead guilty to certain charges. He will get a far longer sentence than Allison.
Allison pleaded guilty to racketeering and racketeering conspiracy – and admitted to being involved in a blackmail and extortion scheme. She avoided sex trafficking charges via her plea deal. Yet, during the trial of Keith Raniere, the testimony of Jaye and Nicole clearly indicated that Mack was manipulating these women into a sex trafficking operation.
How many more women would have been trafficked is anyone’s guess. It only stopped because Frank Report revealed the branding scheme and DOS women escaped. Then the New York Times published a story, crediting Frank Parlato for breaking the branding news, which prompted the FBI to begin an investigation.
This caused Raniere and Mack to flee to Mexico.
Otherwise, there would have likely been many more sex trafficking victims.
And, again, before you cry for the poor little victim Allison Mack, read Catherine Oxenberg’s book, “Captive,” which discusses in detail how Mack used and abused India Oxenberg.
That book, like the testimony of Nicole and Jaye, paints a very stunning and disgusting picture of Allison Mack, as a ruthless woman – despite her charming smile and innocent demeanor.
As for Kristin Kreuk coming [or not coming] to Mack’s rescue, don’t criticize Kreuk. She is, wisely, more concerned about her own career and not getting tarred with Allison Mack’s madness.

Yes, I submit that Allison Mack is Jeffrey Epstein and vice versa.
Both are insane in a way to think they could have gotten away with what they did. But that won’t let them off the hook. Both must be punished to prevent this kind of insanity from spreading in the world.

I’m shocked that both empires are not connected.
I agree with you on one level, I just think you go a little too far.
To illustrate my point, I would point towards the testimony of Lauren Salzman and the emails from Cami. Both of these women were slaves and were recruiting slaves, but they seemed to do it almost reluctantly. Both of them were doing it more along the lines of “Well, if it makes Keith happy……”
OTOH, Allison was doing it to make Keith happy, but she seemed to take it a step further and actually enjoyed it. To her, it was more than just “it makes Keith happy.” It was “I like having the power over others.” I actually think she got to the point where she enjoyed giving collateral, taking collateral, fucking KR, having threesomes, etc… and desired the whole master/slave relationship. She was “into it”.
So on that level, I agree she’s shown herself to be worse than others. But it’s not (alleged) Epstein worse. I also have to believe that her ego (likely the same ego that enjoyed having power over others) prevented her from going after a plea bargain at an earlier date.
She definitely deserves a longer sentence than others (although Lauren helping confine someone for 18+ months is evil, but she struck a deal), but not 10 years or anything like that. I keep seeing she’ll be in the 2-3 year range, so we’ll see. She’ll be relegated to the Lynette ‘Squeaky’ Fromme role for the rest of her life as her name will be forever connected to this travesty.

One possible reason for the blackout on Allison’s name and activities is that Mack’s behavior goes beyond the #metoo narrative of “Men are always the predators.”

So Acosta had to be publicly humiliated to get at Trump. Almost every headline I have seen about Epstein recently had Trump’s name in it. The left got Acosta’s scalp. He is probably a decent guy who was doing a good job for Trump but realized that if he didn’t resign they would eventually trot out Gloria Allred and try to Kavanaugh him.
I also find it interesting, that nobody in the Obama DOJ bothered to pursue sex trafficking charges against Epstein. The case Acosta was handed was strictly sexual assault against underage girls in the State of Florida. The victims were underage girls who Epstein sexually abused in PALM BEACH. Acosta only got the case because the politically connected Democrat D.A. in Palm Beach County refused to prosecute any of it except one count of soliciting for prostitution, a misdemeanor. The Palm Beach Chief of Police was so disgusted that he took the case to Acosta, who was determined that Epstein go to jail for what he did. A lot of the evidence we are hearing about now came out AFTER Epstein was charged by Acosta. Acosta also wrote in 2011 that he was under a great deal of pressure from his higher-ups in D.C. to make a quick deal and make the whole thing go away. Since Acosta’s boss was the attorney general, Michael Mukasey, we are talking about pressure from the highest levels of government. Acosta has said publicly that Epstein’s “dream team” of politically connected lawyers, Democrat and Republican, would go over his head to Washington whenever he stuck to his guns to force jail time on Epstein.

Soliciting prodtitution in Florida is a felony. He was to be charged with aggravated assault, a misdemeanor.
Acosta has never said he was pressured from above. Please give a source. Acosta has publicly said he was “assaulted” by the Epstein lawyers.
Why wait until the end to mention the involvement of Michael Mukasey at the DOJ – a Republican in a Republican administration, when the original deal for Epstein was pushed through?
Acosta did his best to bury it in unusual secrecy, and grants of broad immunity, so that no subsequent administration could re-visit the case. It’s been resurrected only because of the efforts of outsiders to shine light on the case, and challenge it in court.
You are right to point out at the end, that’s it’s a mess of bipartisan influence-peddling. It will be interesting to see just where the chips fall.

Now, on the subject of Mack vs. Epstein, if you weren’t so fixated on Mack, a much better analogy would be to compare Raniere to Epstein and Mack to one of Epstein’s female “helpers,” just as Raniere had female helpers in order to f*ck women. Epstein apparently had a “thing” for 14-16 year old girls (not that he didn’t f*ck at least some of his older helpers), whereas Raniere would f*ck a girl or woman of virtually any age, from 12 (Rhiannon) to 60 (Russell). Mack fed Raniere girls and women to f*ck, just as Epstein’s helpers did, it’s simple as that. Sure, the cauterizing/branding was unique to NXIVM/DOS, but not all perverts can have the same, exact MOs.
