Heidi was the first to expose to the media [through Jim Odato for the Albany Times Union] that Raniere is a pedophile, even though numerous women knew of his predilections. Many people thought that the story would lead to Raniere’s arrest. It did not.
For years, Heidi has cared for her disabled son, but a recent court order removed her from the house. She cannot see her son. She suspects that the sinister hand of Nxivm [in the US and in Mexico] is involved in this matter and is out to destroy her. It goes far beyond “spying” — as I well know and Frank (and others) know I well know.
Nxivm uses the information collected to harass, “gaslight,” frame, malign, manipulate, suborn, bribe, extort, impoverish, silence and harm in the most trenchant manner possible, not only perceived enemies but individuals — including “friends” and family members — who can be used to destroy perceived enemies.
All of which may well have something to do with why I am currently living out of a suitcase in a motel after being restrained from residing with (nay, coming within 200 yards of) and caring for my disabled son — including having no contact with any person or entity responsible for managing his care including his finances.
And this despite the fact that I have done an excellent job as often his sole care provider, with often no compensation and not spent more than a week in total apart from him — he requires 24/7 protective supervision by a close family member or certified LVN to administer emergency seizure medication — in over six years. And despite the fact that in my absence, he is being put at risk and not receiving the care required under State and Federal law and long-standing court orders.
Among the many very strange, sudden obstacles I have faced in an ardent effort to return home to protect my son, foremost, is a transfer of my own inheritance funds held in Trust in another state, the power of attorney holder has been trying to direct deposit into my accounts for nearly two weeks now without success for me to retain counsel to begin to fight this on anything close to an equal footing.
I am grateful for the support of a few honest, compassionate friends, family and acquaintances who understand what I and my son are up against — and I am more determined than ever to NIX NXIVM off the face of the planet it and to see its ilk likewise defeated if not thoroughly destroyed.

This post seems awfully exploitive. Frank, I appreciate that you have been able to uncover huge injustices by not silencing accusations that seem too over the top to be true. That method was a major contributor, if not the main contributor, to the downfall of Nexium and KAR. But it also seems pretty clear that Heidi is mentally unwell and that this is the likely reason for the loss of access to her child. If you truely believe there is more to it and that she is being treated unfairly by the system, then I hope you will do due diligence as a journalist and uncover what is going on. In the absence of that, it reads as rather exploitive of a woman who has both been harmed by Nx as well as having significant mental health challenges.
I say this as someone who feels they were completely abused by the NY State family court system. I think it is an awful and abusive system that doesn’t actually care about families. I don’t object because I’m someone who blindly believes in the system. I think family court frequently gets it wrong. It’s a brutal process no matter your culpability.
But come on Frank, is giving Heidi this platform helping her or is it contributing to a way of thinking that’s not entirely in touch w reality. And does it advance your agenda of telling the truth and taking down bad guys, or is it essentially click bait that takes advantage of sensationalism about a real family’s ugly struggles because the mom’s sister was caught up in ugly BS w KAR. I think it’s likely that KAR’s actions contributed to Heidi’s mental health. But I also think giving her a platform is not that different than publishing the collateral of the DOS women. You have pictures of DOS pussies, but you don’t publish them. If you did, surely you’d get a lot of hits. Is this really that different?

Sometime ago you mentioned that the police stopped you to perform a wellness check..You stated you believe NXIVM initiated the check…..
My guess is that your ex husband at the bequest or advice of his attorney contacted the authorities. I believe at the root of your present predicament is your ex husband.
1. You need legal council.
2. You need to meet with a family therapist or psychologist or psychiatst if you do not have one so you can have a professional affirm your sanity.
My guess is that your ex husband is attempting to take custody of your child. Probably in attempt to avoid paying child support to you. What your are going through unfortunately is not that unusual.
3. You should contact family and or friends to support you in this emotional time.
My wife has seen cases similar to this before. It’s easier said then done but try to stay strong, calm, and focused on presenting the best face you can in regards to the adversity you are now facing.

Nice Guy, This is the first thing that I thought too, regarding when Heidi was approached by police based on an anonymous caller’s report . Attaining legal counsel and getting a family therapist or psychiatrist involved is what I would recommend as well. Thanks for mentioning this!

Everyone knows that in 99.99% of all cases the best caretaker for a child is a parent, either the mother or the father.
I know that you love your son very much.
If you believe that government action has been taken against you or your son because of your public opposition to NXIVM and you have a hard time raising funds to present your case in a civil court, you might try to contact the FBI.
For too long the goblins and gargoyles of NXIVM have abused the legal system to persecute their enemies.
Filing frivolous law suits against ex-girlfriends or defectors from the cult.
Trying to bring bogus criminal charges against former employees.
Hacking into computers of NXIVM’s critics.
As recently as 2017 Clare Bronfman had flown to Vancouver to file bogus criminal charges against Sarah Edmondson claiming that she had “stolen” blackmail material which NXIVM had collected against the DOS sex slaves.
NXIVM is still lurking around Brooklyn, Saratoga and Mexico awaiting the first opportunity to rebuild.

Sorry to hear that you are going through this.
Are you saying that your ex-husband (your son’s father) is the one behind the restraining order? Do you think your ex is being influenced by NXIVM in some way?
There are many possible ways that NX is influencing not only my ex but possibly Dylan’s services.
Foremost, my ex’s new 3rd wife, Kym Karath, has written a script about her younger days in Paris where she met her first husband, Philippe, the father of her own disabled son who is a financier. Phillipe, who travels frequently between France, NY and LA took an unusual interest in NXIVM after the NYT branding story broke and he learned of my history with NX. He, Kym and Jeff strongly urged me to “go public” with my story though I was reticent due to the potential for retaliation on me and my son, Dylan, who lives with me full time and my uncertainty that the public exposure of the branding story would have any effect on levying criminal charges when the 2011 pedophile revelations, which I personally deem much worse, did not rally the justice system or much apparent public interest.
Indeed, I did contact Jim Odato, initiate, inform and help research that story starting in 2009, which grew into a full-blown expose’ by 2011 when it was finally published. And, indeed, I was retaliated against to the point where I took measures to protect myself and Dylan such as moving, tossing out my computers, etc.
I ignored Kym, Phillipe and Jeff’s (they reside together when Phillipe is in LA) urgings, media calls and even put off Frank Parlato. I only spoke to media off the record until after Keith Raniere’s arrest to, foremost, protect Dylan.
Jeff, Kym and Phillipe traveled to France in early 2018 prior to Keith’s arrest where suddenly a Director and angel investor appeared to finance Kym’s script. Meanwhile, I was getting strange, spooky “droppings” about pedophile promoters Simone du Beauvoir and John Paul Sartre in my emails and on FB that coorelated to some of what Gina, my sister, wrote about re: gender dysmorphic experiments secretly being done on her starting in the mid-90’s by NX in her private journal copied in 2010 by the Albany TU. She “suicided herself” in 2002 following years of this type of experimentation.
Jeff brought a single, strange gift for Dylan from France. A coloring book entitled “The Great Lorenzo.” Soon thereafter, Dylan was assigned to a brand new service coordinator (someone who never worked in the field previously) at Westside Regional Center named Kenny Lorenzo and Jeff suddenly became more involved than he’s ever been in Dylan’s services. Prior to that, Jeff rarely attended Dylan’s IPP meetings, his groups, Doctor’s appointments, etc.
Kenny Lorenzo, the upstart, freshman Service Coordinator, hooked Dylan up with Gibraltar Home Healthcare, the “hospice” nursing agency that brought us many unqualified, uncertified, apparently unvetted caregivers such as “Allison,” who lasted 4 days on the job but claimed I treated her as a slave, etc.
So, all these facts combined lead me to suspect that “Oui” there is a French connection between Jeff, Kym & Phillipe, Dylan’s services and the Bronfman fortune aka NXIVM part Duex.
Finally, Europe is much more sophisticated at “gaslighting” — the form of harassment most frequently being used on me —than the bad actors performing this here. I believe this was also being done on Gina prior to her death but the difference between she and I is manifold. Gina trusted Keith and Kristin Keefe, had a deep emotional connection to Keith (her avowed first lover from the age of 14), had no clue they did not have her best interests at heart and no clue that what was happening to her as she cross-crossed the globe on missions instigated by NX had anything to do with NXIVM or her past with Keith Raniere and her BFF Kristin Keefe.

I seriously doubt that NXIVM related attorneys (or Arizona Mafia Attorneys) are the people lining up in court against her, since they wouldn’t have any standing to do that over a family matter like this.
You purposely omitted lots of facts and are basically smearing NXIVM without even a modicum of proof that they are involved.
If I had to guess, it sounds like the type of legal fight that an ex husband might initiate.
…If a ‘court’ issues a restraining order against a parent, that’s not something done lightly or on a whim. They only do that when there’s reasonable proof of something which they don’t approve of.
The court has the child’s best interests at heart and if Heidi doesn’t wish to tell us why she was issued a restraining order or who she is fighting in this matter (probably not NXIVM attorneys) then what’s the connection to NXIVM?

Courts don’t arbitrarily order, even temporarily, such a course of action without evidence or opportunity to respond legally. File your response, sans emotion. (Compartmentalization is one of the hardest tasks to master.) And if you are truly committed to his best interests, persevere!!!

Frank has the pathetic “court orders” I wish he’d publish. They were made on an emergency ex-parte hearing I was not notified of by an alleged PVP attorney named “Richard Solomon” — some guy sitting in the back of conservatorship court with his hand in the air the court appointed as our son’s lawyer whose never talked to me despite a claim that I “made a statement” prior to the hearing. Only attorney I could find by that name anywhere near LA is an entertainment lawyer (not on the probate volunteer panel) and looks like he’s disbarred from any practice.
Frank’s researching Solomon since I was having tech trouble and just got a new “device.” I was only served with a ONE-WAY ticket to Oklahoma (where my family resides and my ex at least thinks I’ll never return from) and $500 in cash before the cops arrived to “evict” me.
I only got a very unprofessional email from Solomon with the orders attached, allegedly signed by Judge Elizabeth Lippet. I wish Frank would publish that email, as well PLEASE. No lawyer I’ve ever known, and I’ve known many in my day as a Mom with a disabled child’s rights to protect, in their right mind could or would have composed that email and copied all of our son’s service providers, financial managers and program personnel on it! Hippa rights alone…but at this point I’m so worried about, ok my beautiful son’s name is Dylan Apple (I’ve been trying to protect him by not using it on here) were, are, being violated left and right. Dylan’s already famous for a special, belated adapted Bar Mitzvah our Cantor at MJCS (Malibu Jewish Center and Synagog) and I planned for him for over a year that the President of WJC recently proudly talked about expanding on for other disabled kids. But Cantor, no one except a couple of close friends, the Dorns, have returned my calls for help so far. I’ve heard they want to remain neutral — that this is between me and my ex, Jeff Apple, but IDK what’s neutral about Dylan being held hostage in our new home by “caregivers” who are not certified to lawfully administer his meds, can’t, have never cooked and are unlawfully working in this Country to begin who I fired with cause and proof to the police that at least one of them was participating in gaslighting me (putting well-disguised moldy food in the fridge, vandalizing his durable medical equipment, etc.) and putting Dylan deliberately at risk.
First day I was escorted out by police who told Jeff where I was headed, name of the motel, I was immediately, obviously harassed on arrival by a “CEMEX” crew and instead of checking in tried taking the bus to straight to a police station to report it. At the transfer stop I was treated to another contrived scene complete with a “pimp” and a “John” named “Jeffrey” who flattered me about how “very pretty” I am (and, trust me, I was no man’s pick in sweats, frantic, etc.). When “Jeffrey” offered to pay me, take care of me and give me a lift, etc. on top of other weirdness like a girl running, yelling “Es La Puma, Andele’ andele’ dijale entrada,” I literally tripped off a curb and sprained my foot, thought I fractured an arm too but just scraped and bruised, could not get up and no one except “Jeffrey” who I staved off would help me. Paramedics soon arrived and brought me to LOS Robles Hospital where I mistakenly called Dylan’s dad for mercy enough to at least stay the night with Dylan and find my insurance card. In fact, he’s not spent a single night with Dylan in over 6 years including in the past nearly 2 weeks, though, again Dylan requires 24/7 protective supervision by a close relative or certified LVN by law and FR readers may recall when I was falsely accused of leaving Dylan unattended for a single moment, due to the same 24/7 protective supervision requirement, 2 patrol cars showed up to question me in a Trader Joe’s parking lot where I was, in fact, WITH DYLAN who was not left unattended, while one patrol was dispatched to and searched our home nearby.
The very spooky part of this episode: while I was at the hospital being x-rayed and treated for my sprain, someone called to say that I was “suicidal and had a gun on me.” Not true in the slightest. I haven’t been happier in decades since Keith Raniere’s guilty on all counts verdict was announced! But the armed and “suicidal” claim led to detainment and search of my belongings, psyche eval, drug test, etc. until I was finally released with a clean bill of health and, enormous I’m sure, bill otherwise. Only one other person besides my ex, Jeff, knew I was at the hospital and she claims she was asleep and did not get my message. Unless, of course, I WAS being followed otherwise. I’ve made a few attempts on my own to go back home to protect Dylan and get emergency protective orders as I was advised by an attorney. I had a very chilly reception from police who threatened to arrest me on the spot and a couple of very chilly nights “sleeping” outside with 200 ft. of the premises. Paramedics have been called to the house to apparently treat a caregiver who allegedly injured his or herself on the job. Neighbors couldn’t tell at first if it was a caregiver or Dylan who was carried off on a stretcher. I’m trying my utmost to get back into court with an attorney as the last thing I or Dylan needs is for some corrupt permanent ruling to be made with me unrepresented. I have money to retain counsel but, again, major problems ensued trying to transfer a larger sum than I’ve needed to live on so far. The corrupt caregiver agency, Gibraltar Home Health, itself managing Dylan’s is I strongly believe, in cahoots with NXIVM. They’ve sent caregivers with names like “Keith” aka “Promise,” “Lauren,” “Allison” and “Jezabel Lopez.” Most drove spanking new BMW’s with crazy face emoticons dangling from the rear view. One had a witch mobile and there has been what I call a “Clare Witch Project” theme going on positing me as the witch. In my long gone woo-woo days when Gina was Keith’s acolyte, I practiced a little paganism and read Tarot. Caregiver “Lauren,” btw, from Long Island offered to pay my internet bill when I had it unplugged as I suspected caregivers were using it to impersonate me on FB and FR, obtain my passwords, etc. Of course, if I mentioned it to their supervisor I was accused of being “paranoid.” I assumed these problems, this often blatant harassment, would resolve itself once Keith Raniere was locked up for good but they persist and so does, I believe, NXIVM. I’ve held off as long as I can on reaching out for legal help — there’s more, a lot more to this seemingly endless harassment. Between my ex and NX they have me and some incorruptible officials convinced my and Dylan’s life are truly in danger. The only real solution I can think of to your problem is to go to the bible and grab a hold of one of His promises and stand on it with your whole heart. This is the only thing that has worked for me. People will scoff at you like they did at me but you will have the victory and they will be left scratching their heads and wondering how that happened. Isaiah 54 verse 17 comes to mind first…”No weapon formed against thee will prosper; and every tongue that rises against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.” Read 2 Chronicles chapter 20. The people of Judah don’t know what to do about the great multitude of armies gathered against them but they kept their eyes on the Lord God. They had an incredible victory the next day. This has proved out in my life. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by doing this.

We need more of the story. Protective services does not remove a child without investigation or cause. Explain more of the details if you want our support.
What are the stated reasons for the restraining order?
What evidence was presented?
What counter arguments did you present?
What rights to defense did you have?
Do you have problems such as alcoholism that need treatment and influence your behavior toward your son?
Exactly how was Nxivm involved to influence the state government against you?
You deserve support but you need to be accountable about your own actions that could have led to the restraining order.
Finally, I wish you the best in getting the help you need to survive this. You are intelligent, compassionate and gifted.
Protective services did not intervene at all. They have received many false accusations they investigated and found to be frivolous, in fact, in the past several years. The allegeged attorney “Solomon” did not respond to my request for him to state any grounds for the restraining orders. Jeff and Solomon appeared and I have yet to receive the transcript records. I HAVE DONE NOTHING NOR HAS DYLAN TO DESERVE THIS. I don’t drink at all apart from an occasional sip or two of wine as a sleep aid and parties or celebrations. I don’t do recreational drugs. I love and care for my son full time tirelessly and often without respite or pay. This is ALL fabrication but, again, I don’t even know on what grounds. Even the gaslighting has not driven me to drink AT ALL or do illegal drugs or abuse any prescription drugs AT ALL. I AM NOT DEPRESSED OR SUICIDAL. I am only worried about Dylan and his dearth of care in my absence.

Exactly how is Nxivm involved in your loss of custody over your son?
Is he over 21 and has become a ward of the state?
A distance of 200ft implies an Order of Protection has been issued by a court to protect your son from harm.If your son is a minor CPS would be involved.

Orders of protection can be granted just upon a false police report – with no defenses presented. I know people who have been “set up” this way. Heidi, weren’t you approached in a parking lot some time ago, by law enforcement, with your son? There was something peculiar about the circumstances – I am going to look for the article, which was posted here.

California child services suck and cases are handled even worse. I have watched the unimaginable happen especially in San Diego and Riverside Counties. So I won’t even ask how or why this has happened. Also do you have a lawyer? You can’t fight this without one.
