Acosta Had the Guts to Hold Epstein to Account in 2008

By Really Nice Guy

Alexander Acosta’s resignation as Secretary of Labor removes the smokescreen protecting Bill Clinton in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

Not that it helps for the true ideologues of the left, but it might shed some light for the deluded stooges of their base. I don’t think that Acosta gave in to pressure from the high-dollar legal defense team.

I think it had more to giving in to superiors in the Department of Justice. I hope that there are many in the deep state that begin to question their defense of Clinton and his associates.

Acosta did the best he could in the Epstein situation back in 2008, and more than the Democrat State Attorney who had responsibility for bringing the prosecution.

Attacking Acosta was a way of deflecting from all the Democrats Epstein was close to and attacking Trump.

It was inevitable that Acosta had to step down because the vultures would have made this another media circus,  the Russian hoax.

Molly Hemmingway said that Epstein was an FBI informant and that’s why he didn’t get a harsher sentence. Acosta did require, as part of the plea, that Epstein register as a Level 3 sex offender – the most dangerous level.

When Epstein finished his sentence in Florida, NY Democratic District Attorney Cy Vance went to court to lower it to the lowest level –  Level1 – in NY. The judge hearing the case was outraged and refused.

Cy Vance was on TV the other day saying he didn’t know the details of Epstein’s case when he went to court requesting the reduction. What? He was a convicted Level 3 for life. What didn’t Vance pick up the phone?

Soon after, folks like George Stephanopolous, Katie Couric, Chelsea Handler, Woody Allen, Charlie Rose were having dinner at Epstein’s house and his procurer, Ghislane Maxwell, was a special guest at Chelsea’s wedding.

But it’s Acosta – the only one who prosecuted Epstein – and Trump – the only one who threw him out when he discovered what he was – that get attacked.

Acosta only held Epstein’s little toe to a warm stove. The BEST thing that can be said about him in that case was that he was to scared to fight Epstein’s top legal team.

Lawyer David Boies said the Epstein case would never have resurfaced if Trump hadn’t put Acosta in his cabinet…which encouraged the Miami Herald to take another look at the case and write the articles that got the public’s and Fed’s interest.

Yes, Trump deserves the credit.

I just find it ridiculous that the press choose to obsessively broadcast and beef up an acquaintence connection between Trump and Epstein, yet never once brought to light the same aquaintence connection between H. Clinton and the Raniere. Blatant nonsense.

Note how Slick Willy’s, aka “it depends what the definition of is, is” statement that he took only four flights in 2002-03: https://www.thedailybeast.com/bill-clinton-i-flew-with-jeffrey-epstein-but-knew-nothing-about-terrible-crimes but there were a lot more years he also took flights: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/flight-manifests-reveal-bill-clinton-traveled-with-epstein-six-times-not-the-four-times-he-admitted and each trip often consisted of multiple stops along the way: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/flight-manifests-reveal-bill-clinton-traveled-with-epstein-six-times-not-the-four-times-he-admitted, often to countries known for underage sex.

All this is happening now because the fake investigation is over. Epstein could not be arrested before the investigation was over because then it would have looked like Trump was obstructing. The people involved with the investigation have been to Epstein’s island.

RealNiceGuy,

You and most of your brethren are obsessed with turning most news events into partiasn politics.

Who are your brethren? The extreme Liberals(libtards), the radical right(Alt-right) and the libertarians(anarchists).

I feel like I am living in 1920 Germany.
My great grandfather emigrated from German because of radicals of all ilks were tearing apart Germany . The Fascists, Communists and a few anarchists were all trying to take over.

AOC is ardent socialist/communist , Trump is a populist nationalist, and Ran Paul is academician anarchist in essence.

Laugh all you want and go f*ck yourself!!!

I myself am a Republican. I loved Bush senior, Regan, and John McCain. There all dead.

The Bill Mahers and the Bill O’Reillys make me sick. A bunch of bigmouthed pussies with manginas.

RealNiceGuy you are just trying to emulate the OpEd news personalities you see on tv.

Congratulations, you do a wonderful imitation of a pseudo-intellectual pussy!!!

You are like one of Raniere’s make cuckholds!!!

I think Raniere left some creampies for you to clean up.

….And please stop using my alias Acteon!

When the North Vietnamese discovered that McCain was the son of an Admiral they wanted to release him as a PR move. But McCain stood by his men and refused, so he he had to endure more years as a POW and many beatings. What a sell out.
McCain’s torture resulted in him suffering bone spurs on his feet.

To Everyone:

My original rebuttal is non-partisan. I have been and will be a life long Republican.

I vehemently hate the Clintons and think AOC is a threat to democracy.

AOC is Hugo Chavez with tits.

All of your attacks on me are because I stated I am not a fan of partisan news reporting… how ironic.

Just because I do not buy into all of the rhetoric….dogma…..and ideology of a few…

……I am now labeled as the enemy and traitor to my party.

Nxvim’s that questioned Raniere were attacked and ostracized by the group collective.

How are any of you different than Raniere’s followers?

Anyone within the party that questions the status quo becomes a traitor like the late senator Mcain was labeled before his death.

I want to thank alll of you for teaching me a fundamental uder pinning and teaching of Maoist communist doctrine……

“The nail that stands up shall be hammered down”.

Thank you all for enlightening me.

Welcome to extremist politics, which is fashionable since 2016. And it is worrying how the times have changed. You know, there was a saying ‘America right or wrong’. Do you know it’s origin?

[…]My country; and my country is the great American Republic. My country, right or wrong; if right, to be kept right; and if wrong, to be set right.[…]

By now the most important message is lost. It was shortened and used as an excuse to not criticize those in power and the US, which was once a country that tried to improve itself became stagnant. All the achievements of the USA are those of the past. America lost it’s ability or drive to improve.

It is not only the criminals that walk free at the moment, the tax evaders and rapists or the concentration camps. There is so much that is obviously wrong and you will find some moron defending things that need to change. It is simply depressing.

FDC Willard,

Extremist politics indeed.

I agree.

My original post was nonpartisan.
I am and have been a life long Republican.

Bush senior was shot down over the Atlantic and rescued by a submarine.

Now the Bushs and Mcain are called traitors because they happened to have voiced their dissent.

Look what happened to Romney. He spoke out and became an ostracized leper.

It’s ironic times we live in. I have been life long Republican. I know people that were life long democrats. The same individuals now follow Trump and tell me I am not a true conservative.

F.D.C thank you for your post.

Great quote by the way ‘America right or wrong’.

The problem is that in Trumpism only yes-men are accepted. You cannot criticize anything the current administration does, despite this being the first step in improving something.
And let us be honest, there are many things that need to be addressed. Say Bernie Sanders, is making a trip to Canada to get cheaper insulin. Why is that several times more expensive in the US, even to a degree that people cannot afford it? This cannot be due to manufacturing costs.
Or Green New Deal. Might be wrong, but it is a scientific fact that GHG emissions need to be cut. We have 12 to 20 years to limit the temperature increase to 1.5 °C. This will prevent climate refugees. Trumps big point btw.
Or think about the deficit. Wasn’t the GOP the party of fiscal responsibility? Or was it only during the Obama administration? There are so many things that are obviously wrong, but politics are not addressing them.

I’ve also read the Epstein lawyers were digging up dirt on the girls, police, and the prosecution team: https://www.vox.com/2018/12/3/18116351/jeffrey-epstein-indictment-arrested-trump-clinton-acosta Things are normally not as simple as they appear at first glance.

While I understand the reasons why Acosta stepped down as the Labor Secretary, it would be helpful for someone other than Trump to stand up to the Lame Steam Media/Fake News. After all, he’s going to be gone in 1 to 5 years.

For all of the fire and fury about Trump and Epstein the truth is that in 2008 Trump was merely a real estate developer with no real political power.
Trump had never appointed anyone to important positions in the DOJ in 2008.
Bill Clinton had.
In 2008 the entire Federal government, including many judges and prosecutors, had been appointed by Clinton to their jobs.
In 2008 all of Trump’s political influence was based on his role as a prominent donor to political candidates in both political parties.
Trump’s main concern at that time was for obtaining political approval for his various real estate projects.
And as Really Nice Guy mentions , when informed that Epstein had been using Mar A Lago as a place to recruit underage girls, Trump promptly threw the scoundrel off of the property.

“Best-selling author James Patterson — who wrote “Filthy Rich: The Billionaire’s Sex Scandal–The Shocking True Story of Jeffrey Epstein” — told Fox News on Tuesday that then-private citizen Donald Trump threw alleged pedophile Jeffrey Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago after he was notified about complaints being made against Epstein.

Dana Perino asked Patterson about Trump’s remarks: “President Trump said earlier that he had a falling-out with Epstein about 15 years ago. Do you know what that was about?”

Patterson responded: “Well, I know that there were some complaints about Epstein at Mar-a-Lago and also I spoke to the head of the spa there. I said ‘did you ever meet Epstein?’ She said, ‘oh yes… he was inappropriate with some of the younger women there.’ She said she went to Trump and he threw him out of the club.”

At another point in the interview, Patterson said he “knows Trump didn’t know” about Epstein’s alleged criminal activity.”

All this whining about Trump is a mere diversionary tactic to divert attention from BJ Bill Clinton was his clear involvement with Epstein and Clinton’s numerous trips to Epstein’s Pedophile Island.

Epstein Sex Scandal: Flight Logs Show Clinton, Not Trump, More Likely Involved

“Former President Bill Clinton was a much more frequent flyer on a registered sex offender’s infamous jet than previously reported, with flight logs showing the former president taking at least 26 trips aboard the “Lolita Express” — even apparently ditching his Secret Service detail for at least five of the flights, according to records obtained by FoxNews.com.

Clinton’s presence aboard Jeffrey Epstein’s Boeing 727 on 11 occasions has been reported, but flight logs show the number is more than double that, and trips between 2001 and 2003 included extended junkets around the world with Epstein and fellow passengers identified on manifests by their initials or first names, including “Tatiana.” The tricked-out jet earned its Nabakov-inspired nickname because it was reportedly outfitted with a bed where passengers had group sex with young girls.

“Bill Clinton … associated with a man like Jeffrey Epstein, who everyone in New York, certainly within his inner circles, knew was a pedophile,” said Conchita Sarnoff, of the Washington, D.C. based non-profit Alliance to Rescue Victims of Trafficking, and author of a book on the Epstein case called “TrafficKing.” “Why would a former president associate with a man like that?”

“Why would a former president associate with a man like that?” Why would a man like Slick Willy NOT associate with a man like that? You seem to forget who was in their eighth year as President in 2008 – the heir to a multi-generation political dynasty that had also occupied the White House from 1981 to 1993 (not to mention running the US mission to the UN and the CIA), bookmarking Clinton’s term.

In 2008, when the Acosta deal was made, the US Government was fully seated with Bush appointees. And two of the DOJ officials said to have overseen the deal from Washington, now serve in the Trump administration.

Ultimately people from across the spectrum will likely turn out to have unsavory involvement. Problems with cronyism, influence peddling and even corruption are systemic, not partisan.

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
