It’s understandable that Allison Mack could be deemed a victim of Keith Raniere, but that doesn’t excuse or dismiss her behavior.
She bought into his version of Utopia, and she was happy to be close to the “king”.
For a moment, get on the Utopian train with her. Imagine who Allison Mack would be if KR’s version of reality had actually occurred?
She’s already shown the kind of “slavemaster” she would be on a minor level. Can you imagine her with 100 slaves…? 200…?
Would she somehow develop a kinder, gentler way to manipulate her slaves into having sex with the “king”?
What happens to collateral when the “king” gets tired of magnified labia shots, and bullshit incest stories?
The brainwashing put her in the position(s) to make choices that a normal life wouldn’t have to consider, but it didn’t make her become a sadist! She did that by herself! Her style, her flavor!
These people took a few courses in self-help and were inspired by “changing the world” with this ideology. At what point on the path to enlightenment (with “the most ethical man in the world”) does it require you to sub-humanize others? Whether it’s using them as a “fuck toy” or cleaning your house and running errands, it’s all still “using”, unless there’s a fair exchange, and goes against the “we are one”, kumbaya of the new age.
How on earth does holding someone hostage with collateral become a tool for enlightenment?
They will cry, faint and have breakdowns…too bad, so sad… These reactions are because they KNEW it was wrong and they didn’t listen to themselves! They put ALL their faith in a sociopath’s basket and became the worst versions of themselves. Now it’s time to pay the piper. After all, as Keith Raniere taught in his mission statement for Nxivm, there are no victims, right?

From the documentaries, interviews, and programs about NXVIM, I find it incredibly disturbing the number of individuals that followed this drum because they were told “self-help organization founded by the smartest man in the world”. A mentality that believes an individual possesses answers to the universe is the ideology of “Superiority”. History has repetitively taught this ideology is destructive and unattainable. When I watched The Vow, these individuals shared the place they were in before NXVIM and the level of neediness, self-absorption, self-centeredness, completely oblivious to the world around them. I do not know who their social groups were before finding each other because listening to the level of self-absorption was pathological. There is not enough alcohol on the planet that could get me past 10-minutes of drinking with them. Does anyone know what a social vampire is? It is an individual who is so deep in themselves they suck the life, spirit, and soul from the captive unlucky enough to have befriended them. They joined chasing the Chalice (euphemism for Superiority) selling their integrity, betraying loved ones by divulging highly personal and private information on tape for use as collateral to join yet another exclusive rise above the majority. They were the chosen ones with the capacity to comprehend what the “smartest man in the world” wanted to convey.
Raniere is a master manipulator, a scammer, a suspected murderer, and a pedophile. The starvation diets are because he is attracted to pre-pubescent girls. He has a history of sexual abuse against underage girls and my suspicion is DOS/Sorority/Branding was a test for worse things to come. He wanted to see if Allison would do the unspeakable and she exceeded expectations. She recruited, obtained the collateral, convinced the women to submit to the branding, and she protected him. My instinct is Allison and her collaborators would have started predator training to recruit, groom, and bait with some similar “exclusive Sorority entrance” very, very young girls/children providing a pedo-sex den for Rainier. He took a page from history by profiling his candidates to determine who would do his dirty work and how to motivate them. People ask how the Nazis found people to work in the death camps? tEasy…they profiled candidates they knew that given a uniform, power, and authority would brutally excel at the task. I am not making any correlations between concentration camps and NXVIM – just conveying how he profiled for evil. Manson did the same thing; he knew which of his family was capable and would murder and who would not. The lesson from NXVIM/Raniere is the narcissistic ideology of Superiority funded, followed, and potentially endangered our most vulnerable population because the children he would have collected are the one’s isolated, damaged, and alone in the world. Although individuals did snap back, fight back, resulting in locking him up I have not heard any question the disturbing critical key attraction “the smartest man in the world” and the ideology behind believing that.
I love Frankie!!! Raniere had no idea who he was messing with when he tried to take Frank down. The internal rage Raniere must have been experiencing the day Frank walked in because he was neither impressed, enthralled, or there to worship Raniere. I have so much admiration for Toni; she was literally all alone fighting this monster then thank God Frank came in. Toni’s story is very different and I will be buying her book.

Except that her behavior is the same as a lot of unindicted persons…Including India who is seen as a victim (because she is)
She just collected the collateral while behind coerced herself.

First of ,what kind of slavemaster? Second, the trial show a person who doesn’t really act like a slavemaster…she is a slave herself.
Did you know that a slave that is FORCED to supervise the other slave is still considered as a slave and therefor unprosecutable…but please, continue to ignore her position.
And finally , the only victim who came after Allison said “she was loving” and even thanked Allison when she left (And Allison said ” i failed you”)…

She didn’t manipulate them to have sex…The only victim said that she wanted to say that she had sex with Raniere…If it was Allison who pushed her, why tell her?

Only a couple of person used the other,That is CLEARLY SHOWN IN THE TRIAL and Allison isn’t one of them…Count Raniere, Count Nancy but Allison isn’t one of them.

Sarah Edmonson. Mark Vicente. Could still make the ethical choices when push came to shove!! Both their lives were entirely wrapped up in it, and Sarah already had the brand and had given the collateral. Mark was being strung along as the successor to Vanguard, and he could have continued to look the other way…and yet…..
Allison used her slaves, don’t kid yourself, whether it was cleaning her house or running her errands, she benefitted! I don’t disagree that many others did the same things as her, however, only a small group have been charged/convicted. My comment was about Allison, not anyone else. I don’t dislike her, and I don’t like her either, it’s my opinion off another post!

Allison and anyone who collaborated in recruiting, blackmailing, branding, and the whole perverse, depraved, and unholy DOS/Sex slave/sorority process should have been sitting in the dock with her. I am unclear about India’s role; in some reports I am reading, she also recruited and participated in this sick secret society. If she was one of the guilty, then justice need’s to prevail equally because while Allison is getting the book thrown at her, India is writing one and basking in the celebrity, accolades, and adulation that eluded her before NXVIM.
From what I understand, Allison was treated differently because of her celeb status. Raniere profiled his harem and tested how far would they go for him and the ones he knew would get dirty for him exceeded expectations. He gave Allison power, and authority over the women by making her gatekeeper of the collateral. I do think Allison is damaged and starvation interferes with Logic, rationality, perception, and reasoning. I am unclear of the sequence of events with Allison: e.g., when DOS started, when she began starving, the order of events from when she joined to downfall. I think she has a story to tell and victimization is going to be part of it. However, it does not excuse or explain her collaboration in this.

and throughout this article, it does not show why allison is a sadist, basically throws up what we all know. that allison is no more guilty than all the other women in the first line of slaves and that they are all so guilty of ignoring themselves and placing all their trust in a sociopath’s basket.
This wasn’t an article…it was a comment on another post that turned into an article. I really didn’t see the point of rehashing her behaviour that is plastered throughout this site. One example that comes to mind is allowing her slave to enjoy unwillfully having sex with KR, claiming it would heal her sexual abuse…do I need to go on??
