The Feds Had the Goods on Allison Mack

By Actaeon

Heidi wrote some thing about Allison Mack in her defense that I take exception with:

Allison “hails from a show biz family…”

What?  Her father is an opera singer. Associated with the LA Philharmonic, I believe.

“Show biz family” makes it sound like her parents are desperate impresarios and she grew up living in a succession of seedy residential motels, one missed rent payment away from being homeless.

Her mother’s house– which provided security for Ally’s bail–  is valued at a cool $5 million. Evidently, she grew up in a highly cultured, well-to-do, stable family.

If there’s any evidence that she was pressured into acting as a kid, I’d like to see it; as far as I know, it was always her dream to be an actor, and she got to live her dream.

“Her lack of education”

She’s a high school graduate. This came out in open court during her allocution.

If she never went to college, that was her choice; she certainly had every opportunity.

When Smallville ended, she had plenty of time on her hands. Filming only took part of the year anyway.  She most certainly had the money; she made millions in her decade long run with that network show.

Instead, she chose to follow her guru, Keith Raniere, for her path to wisdom. Not that a college education helps keep people from being naive fools. They don’t teach common sense at university.

“Her trusting, kind nature”

I think that’s Chloe, the character she played on Smallville. The Ally who forced her slaves to strip naked and photographed them, who told one of them she “had a nice cunt”, who mocked one of them for being upset at this cruel humiliation, who sneeringly told one of her slaves she had her “permission to enjoy it” after coercing her into having sex with Raniere – she does not seem at all kind to me. And the fact that she carefully, dutifully, and thoroughly collected blackmail materiel on her DOS slaves rather explodes the notion that she was at all trusting.

“Ally’s need to please”

She certainly didn’t feel any need to please her slaves, though. Didn’t have any compassion for them, no fellow feeling. Sure, she wanted to please her lord and master, her love, her guru and friend, Keith. He could do things for her. He mattered to her. Her need to please seems to have been awfully selective. And selfish.

“A child star, she’s been “role-playing’… her entire life”

She did these two things on set. I think she knew the difference between being on set and real life. Again, Allison Mack is not Chloe (She wrote an article for the Huffington Post on this very subject). I’ve seen this kind of special pleading for actors before.

“Oh, they’re different, they aren’t allowed to be normal people, they’re so sensitive, poor dears.”

No, I don’t buy it. Everybody’s special, everybody’s got an excuse. Some actors are miserable, some are drunks, some can’t cope. Just like the regular population.

“Ally is still DEFENSELESS against … stone-throwing”

What stone-throwing?

“Ally” confessed to two felony racketeering counts. She’s guilty. She admitted she did what she’s accused of. You want her to turn around and sue people for defamation?

Good luck with that, Ally.

Ally’s publicist has pulled the former actress from her Rolodex. Ally’s calls will not be returned. Ally is in no position to demand retractions or rebuttals, and she will be charging no-one with defamation.

Ally has other things to occupy her mind, like how she will survive the next few years in prison.

“Ally is … taking the fall just as she was … set up to do…”

Taking the fall? For whom? Raniere? He’s going to prison too, likely for the rest of his life.

Nobody took the fall for him, he took it himself. Fell right on his face. Au contraire, our Ally got off rather lightly, considering.

The Feds had her on the extremely serious charge of sex trafficking. They let her plead guilty on two lesser counts and mercifully dropped the big charge.

I think this is just, since Mack probably poses no threat to the public. She had no prior brushes with the law and isn’t the massive asshole Raniere is.

“Why Ally? What about the others?” argument.

Lots of reasons.

First, the criminal’s complaint that other people do worse and get away with it is specious.

It’s best answered with “because you got caught, dumbass.”

The Feds had the goods on Miss Mack, either through ill-luck or her own stupidity in preserving cell phone records and audio of her discussing torture-branding ceremonies with her criminal mastermind friend and guru.

Maybe because she was late getting on the plea-deal bus (and that was her own damn fault). Or maybe it’s just because she was such a valuable lieutenant in Raniere’s criminal enterprise, and central to DOS, the core of the rotten apple that was Nxivm.

Allison behaved, talked and thought just like the pimp she was. There was no ‘sisterhood’ as described in JNESS. Whatever she was before NXIVM ended when she met Keith. And, as others have said, she was corrupted by Keith. She entered her debasement eagerly and with relish. She absolutely loved the power she held over other women, her slaves included. She wielded it as though she had been born to it. There’s not even any reason to discuss whether or not it was willful. That she enjoyed her position is without any doubt.

What a low life you are, get a life instead of trying to make sense because you Don’t…

She believed in the sisterhood…it was confirmed by Lauren’s testimony and Cami’s texts…

“She absolutely loved the power she held over other women, her slaves included”
Strange that the trial demonstrate SHE DIDN’T HAD ANY POWER! It was demanded by Raniere (India asked the same kind of assignement like to “seduce Raniere”…which was also asked to someone else (i think it was cami who was asked to “seduce” another guy or dani…forgot who exactly)
The only one in power IS RANIERE!

You are, since the beginning, a pathetic loser who knows Nothing about the story but regularly blew “stories” based on Nothing.
You have proved how unpartial you were.
I never seen you say anything wrong against ANYONE but Allison.
Get help, seriously!

Whether or not Mack really grew up as a sort of child actress with an overzealous stage mom, is the sort of background that we really don’t know enough about. I’m hoping that eventually we’ll find out more about her early life, to understand her better.

And there’s indeed an important point, that Mack was indicted by a federal grand jury that heard witnesses and reviewed evidence, returning 5 counts against her based on probable cause – and federal prosecutors have a very high conviction rate, so she likely would have been found guilty, particularly given how the trial went against Raniere:

* 3 sex trafficking counts that named Raniere and Mack

* Counts of Forced Labor Conspiracy and Wire Fraud Conspiracy that named Raniere, Mack, and Lauren Salzman

* Counts of Racketeering Conspiracy and Racketeering

She was given a deal that allowed her to plead guilty to just 2 of the racketeering counts. In her allocution she admitted to various crimes, including against others.

First, it’s not illegal to tell someone she has a beautiful cunt and it fascinates me that among all of Ally’s alleged cult crimes this utterance gets so much media play and commentary.

In fact, insofar as intent goes, Ally’s use of the “c-word” may be similar to the way African-Americans came to own the “n-word” — to destigmitize it as a derogatory insult.

Next, the fact that “the Feds had the goods on Ally” moreso than higher-ranking, far longer-standing NX leaders only underscores the fact, as I see it, that Ally was set-up to take the fall. The early media reports also all highlighted the alleged “AM” for Allison Mack in the brand mark and now we know otherwise.

Ally’s reluctance to “cop a plea deal” early on or publically denounce Raniere, much less Nancy Salzman, bespeaks the depth of her belief in the cult’s purported mission to “empower” women. And now we know otherwise.

Finally, it was up to “Ally’s” attorneys (HA!) to advise her on when to plea to what charges and they obviously misled her — all of them — to protect their true clients.

As for R. Kelly he was arrested in Chicago while walking his dog.
But you are right on point.
Trump’s DOJ is very serious about prosecuting sex trafficking cases.

1.) They’ve gone after NXIVM.

2.) They’ve revived the case against Jeffrey Epstein.

3.) They’ve filed sex trafficking charges against R. Kelly on top of the sex trafficking charges already filed by the Cook County State’s Attorney.

Don’t be surprised if the DOJ’s NDNY prosecutors file charges against all of the defendants indicted in Brooklyn by the EDNY.

Most of NXIVM’s crimes occurred in the NDNY.

In the Huff article for one she assumes much and two she isn’t facing a life any different than anyone else. We all have challenges. Child actors, former soldiers, high school or college grads. Or teen moms or teen dads, children of divorce or infamous parents.
My point is we all have challenges and obstacle and we have privilege too. We take our experiences and hopefully use them in a positive way. I learned early to be responsible for my actions both good and bad.

I agree with of some of this article. I think the Feds do know the full extent of her crimes. And they charged her accordingly. So let’s not have any more of this “who knows what else she did?” boogeyman type argument. The charges focused on 2 women, not dozens. And from Nicole’s testimony, Allison probably didn’t know Raniere was going to assault her/rape her or whatever it would be called. All of which is a far cry from the decades of abuse towards women committed by Raniere. Which is why I think ultimately the prosecution was willing to drop the sex trafficking charges in exchange for her cooperation.

Seriously…and you act like you understand what you said?! Every testimonies from executive and top member show that Allison is not connected to ANY CRIMES.
She was EXCLUSIVELY connected in DOS crimes…period and only has a collateral collector.

So the more you get info that show she is not that guilty, the more you consider her to potentially be guilty, you make so much sense.

The feds know the full extent ,yes and yet, they proved (since the beginning) that only the collateral collection is proved.
Why? because that’s all she did.
They didn’t prove the Slavery/forced labor at all , and vast part of extorsion isn’t proved…only the collateral collection is.

“Which is why I think ultimately the prosecution was willing to drop the sex trafficking charges in exchange for her cooperation”
Hey ,fruitloop, they Don’t “drop” charge they can prove…if they do, they do it on lesser charges. not one that would warrant them a 15 years minimum
The charge was dropped because it was not true and couldn’t be proved…In trial, this charge would have been dropped too due to the lack of proof.
She didn’t commit anything else but the collateral collecting. But please ,continue to ignore the fact

BTW stop acting like you are either trying to defend Allison or to be rationnally thinking because here, you prove you are doing neither.
You willingly ignore the facts and prefere to continue posting the same statement (disproved in court).

“Allison Mack was living her dream”

Indeed she was.
From all accounts Ms. Mack enjoyed performing for people.
Especially people she considered to be friends.

“Allison Mack’s Lack of Education”

Allison Mack had both the time and the money to obtain a good education.
And as Actaeon says, Universities don’t teach common sense.
If universities taught common sense, that graduate of Harvard University Emiliano Salinas would not be facing possible criminal charges like conspiracy to commit kidnapping and obstruction of justice.

“Her trusting, kind nature”

Indeed the testimony in court points to a sadistic, cruel, brutal young woman who was eager to hurt other people to rise up in the NXIVM ranks.
Allison Mack turns out to be a very nasty piece of work.
Allison Mack turns out to be a very unpleasant woman.
And most of her victims were her fellow women.
Women that Mack was jealous of because they were younger and prettier.

“Ally’s need to please”

In all this weeping and whining about Allison Mack the Victim people forget the real victims.
People forget the young women enslaved and brutalized by Allison Mack to please Mack and her personal Master.

“A child star, she’s been “role-playing’… her entire life”

If Allison Mack is so disconnected from reality that she can not tell the difference between fact and fiction, then to protect the public she should be institutionalized after her term in prison.

“Ally is still DEFENSELESS against … stone-throwing”

When Allison Mack threw in h.er lot with NXIVM she burned all of her bridges behind her.
Allison Mack chose to join a criminal organization.
Allison Mack endeavored to rise up in the ranks and become a leader in that organization.
No publicist can retrieve a reputation from those type of choices.
And Hollywood is filled with talented young actresses who make sensible choices.

“Ally is … taking the fall just as she was … set up to do…”

In my opinion all of the NXIVM defendants except for Raniere got off lightly.
They all behaved in a criminal manner for years.
Most of NXIVM’s crimes occurred in the NDNY and there were hundreds of victims.
And the serious charge of conspiracy to lure people to Mexico to be kidnapped by corrupt Mexican officials has yet to be addressed.
Every one of these defendants should face charges in the NDNY and brought to trial in Albany, New York.

“Why Ally? What about the others?” argument.

I doubt that many people could supervise the branding and torture of women with the gusto and joy that Allison Mack experienced.

Just a few thoughts for readers, law enforcement, etc.:

1. Allison Mack should go to prison as long as Keith Raniere (hopefully for life). As I’ve stated in other posts, this includes doing time in a normal facility: no ‘Martha Stewart’ treatment.

2. Lauren Salzman is not an angel nor is her mother Nancy Salzman. They should both be sentenced for longer than the minimum guidelines as the Judge sees fit.

3. Lauren Salzman should NOT get released from home confinement. Sorry, but you should have thought of your Grandparents a long time ago. You were too busy serving as the warden to a poor girl imprisoned in her own home, overseeing branding ceremonies, etc.

Don’t use your grandparents as a bail ticket.

4. Clare Bronfman should be shut down completely. I hope her finances are still being looked into. With all her shell companies, etc., the IRS needs to clean you out. Your sister should be extradited too.

5. Extradite Emiliano and Cecilia Salinas.

Both Mack and Raniere are first time offenders and Raniere was found guilty on numerous charges, he should get more time than Mack. Stop being so emotional and think about it.

Both Salzmans are getting home confinement until sentencing, the daughter was yesterday’s news: https://nypost.com/2019/07/11/nxivm-honcho-lauren-salzman-will-remain-under-house-arrest-judge/

Um no she should not go to prison for life (and she won’t because the maximum she can get is 40 years).

If she had been allowed to testify like Lauren was, you would not be saying that. She and Lauren pleaded guilty to the exact same 2 charges. Unlike Raniere who was convicted of 7 including sex trafficking.

Kimberley:
Here is a story that should be read to explain why both Lauren Salzman and Allison Mack are hard core criminals and deserve no pity.
They both planned to set up India Oxenberg to take the fall for all of the NXIVM DOS scandal.
Lauren and Allison designated India to be the Patsy.
Why?
Maybe it had to do with the fact that India’s mother, Catherine Oxenberg had gone to the FBI and ratted Lauren and Allison out.
Like you I find Lauren and Allison’s “Little Girl Act” to be unconvincing.

Salzman & Mack: India Oxenberg to ‘take the fall’ for the sake of the mission
April 17, 2018

“According to an inside source in Brooklyn:”

“Mack’s slave pod includes actress Nicki Clyne [Battlestar Gallactica], Dr. Danielle Roberts [who did the branding of women], India Oxenberg [daughter of Dynasty Star Catherine Oxenberg], Michelle Hatchette, and Lauren Salzman”

“Mack is under orders to marshal the slave-women to protect Raniere – and has ordered them to accept full responsibility for DOS. All of them are expected to testify that they gained immensely from Raniere’s life coaching, that they were not coerced, and that, if any women were coerced, it was India Oxenberg’s fault.”

https://frankreport.com/2018/04/17/salzman-mack-india-oxenberg-to-take-the-fall-for-the-sake-of-the-mission/

I also agree with you that Clare and Emiliano and his sister need to go down.
And so does Alex and his phalanx of Mexican lawyers sending extortionate letters to NXIVM defectors and critics.

To be fair though if there is evidence that Britain’s Prince Andrew was a customer of Epstein’s sex trafficking operation, then Andrew Windsor needs to be indicted and extradited to the US too.
Just because this British lout is a member of the inbred Royal Family does not give him a pass to come to America and use American teenagers as sex slaves.
The British Royal Family is as rotten as Mexico’s Salinas family.

1.Soooo, moron she committed 1 crime and was abused the same way as each victims but she should get life like Raniere who was condamned for how many crime?

2.But of course less than Allison who is such a monster despites what the court proved to be the opposite…

3.I can’t say i Don’t agree

4.Except that this could happen only if her wealth was builded on Nxivm, she lost more than she gain so i doubt the authorities could win this fight.

5.Good luck with that.

I advice you to get help for the first and second point…

Another display of your ignorance Actaeon…

I’ll ignore your usual interpretation of the first “points” you disagree.

“I think that’s Chloe, the character she played on Smallville. The Ally who forced her slaves to strip naked and photographed them, who told one of them she “had a nice cunt”, who mocked one of them for being upset at this cruel humiliation, who sneeringly told one of her slaves she had her “permission to enjoy it” after coercing her into having sex with Raniere, – she does not seem at all kind to me. And the fact that she carefully, dutifully, and thoroughly collected blackmail materiel on her DOS slaves rather explodes the notion that she was at all trusting.”
Excuse me but do you know personnally Allison ? No? so just shut up…
She is a trusting nature, it’s quality in most case until you give your trust to the wrong person, she made that mistake with some people she met (before and during Nxivm).
It’s fact and has nothing to do with a stupid TV show…

Also, she didn’t forced them, moron…they all did (even Nicole)…She is the only one who said “no” but try to talk it with Allison and ended up doing it.

“She certainly didn’t feel any need to please her slaves, though. Didn’t have any compassion for them, no fellow feeling. Sure, she wanted to please her lord and master, her love, her guru and friend, Keith. He could do things for her. He mattered to her. Her need to please seems to have been awfully selective. And selfish.”
What a moron, Nicole said Allison was loving and showed compassion when she cried…but Raniere didn’t wanted her to release Nicole so she said to Nicole “My master wants to release your collateral”.
Stop twisting the facts , low life!

I’ll jump over another of your senseless rant to answer the next one

“What stone-throwing?
“Ally” confessed to two felony racketeering counts. She’s guilty. She admitted she did what she’s accused of. You want her to turn around and sue people for defamation?
Good luck with that, Ally.
Ally’s publicist has pulled the former actress from her Rolodex. Ally’s calls will not be returned. Ally is in no position to demand retractions or rebuttals, and she will be charging no-one with defamation.
Ally has other things to occupy her mind, like how she will survive the next years in prison.”
The stone throwing low life like you and some other are doing…
You had extra crime to her name (while it’s a crime that you commit) and this despite the proof of the contrary.
If Allison wasn’t Allison, she’d have all what she need to sue quite a few (including you and shadow) for defamation per se. and she would win hands down! you never stick to the fact and try to twist EVERYTHING.

Prison isn’t guaranteed yet…first of, it’s not the decision of a few stupid fruitloops but one made by ,and i cite, a HUMAN BEING before a judge…
He , contrary to you and a few others, Stick to the fact, see the things for what they are and don’t stop to minor detail to twist them.

She is likely to go to prison but it’s probably gonna be WAY shorter than what you hoped…but the sicko you are would probably hope a life sentence for her.
Just get a fucking life Actaeon…What is you pathetic life now? just coming here to vomit you hate on someone you KNOW NOTHING AT ALL?

“Taking the fall? For whom? Raniere? He’s going to prison too, likely for the rest of his life.
Nobody took the fall for him, he took it himself. Fell right on his face. Au contraire, our Ally got off rather lightly, considering.”
Suuuure and the way you and some talk, it’s Allison who forced Raniere to do what he did…the fact is Allison was barely involved for a year and only in the collecting of the collaterals.
YET you and other still try (despite the proofs) to pin everything on her…What a pathetic guy you are.

“The Feds had her on the extremely serious charge of sex trafficking. They let her plead guilty on two lesser counts and mercifully dropped the big charge.
I think this is just, since Mack probably poses no threat to the public. She had no prior brushes with the law, and isn’t the massive asshole Raniere is.”
Merciful ?! Ahahah…you make so much sense there. Hey loser, they had NO PROOF AGAINST ALLISON FOR THE SEX TRAFFICKING…IT’S A FACT
They aren’t merciful, they could not include it at all because there is nothing.

And i advice you to stop accusing her with a dropped charge as it’s a crime (i love to repeat it but DEFAMATION PER SE (if you are too ignorant, i’ll tell you in simple word (since you aren’t the brightest) : It’s when someone accuse of a serious crime someone else without the SLIGHTEST PROOF)
It could even give you some jail time (depending the level of offense) but usually it’s just a big salty fine.

““Why Ally? What about the others?” argument.
Lots of reasons.
First, the criminal’s plaint that other people do worse and get away with it is specious.
It’s best answered with “because you got caught, dumbass.””
What a moron, they had enough proof to go further against many people (including the other defendants)…and it’s not about the court only but also about lowlife like you.

Why such an obsession on Allison but a defensefull reaction when we talk about Lauren (who is WAY MORE GUILTY and of WAY MORE CRIMES) or Nancy or even Kathy (she was in more crime than Allison, in the end…)

“The Feds had the goods on Miss Mack, either through ill luck or her own stupidity in preserving cell phone records and audio of her discussing torture-branding ceremonies with her criminal mastermind friend and guru.
Maybe because she was late getting on the plea-deal bus (and that was her own damn fault). Or maybe it’s just because she was such a valuable lieutenant in Raniere’s criminal enterprise, and central to DOS, the core of the rotten apple that was Nxivm.”
No they didn’t…they had just a testimony against her for collecting the collateral and a few silly conversation that prove that she was a pawn, disposable for Raniere that was close to be another fatal victim of this cult…
Excuse me but when you see Allison close to her arrest, It’s a miracle she survived…and that’s the treatment you give to a “valuable lieutenant”
You proved yourself today , again, an unworthy opponent…full of hate and like always, full of BS
Turning everything around and making up stuff.
Pathetic, as usual!

More to the point, I fail to see the reasoning of those who come to this site and defend Ally. There’s nothing anybody posting here can do to make things better or worse for her, so what are they hoping to accomplish? It makes for some mildly interesting discussion, but really it’s out of our hands. Complaining about how Ally was an innocent lamb that was not responsible for her time with NXIVM and KR is a fart in the wind.

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
