Some Assist in Efforts to Expose More of NXIVM’s Dark Secrets – Others Thwart Those Efforts

Barbara Bouchey always shared what information she has to help the public understand Nxivm. This is good since it may prevent repeat crimes

One of the things that readers of Frank Report don’t get a chance to see is the amount of cooperation that goes on among those who are dedicated to exposing more of the dark secrets concerning the members and operations of the NXIVM cult.

This includes not only the information sharing that occurs among the reporters who have been covering the story of Keith Alan Raniere and his sex slaver cult, but also the information that those who have been harmed by him and the cult have been willing to share.

It’s somewhat understandable that journalists and reporters would cooperate with one another.

Even though they work in an environment where “scoops” are important, they also know that sharing information about complex cases like this is the only way to ensure that the whole story is made public.

Since he broke the story of the human branding back in June 2017, Frank Parlato has been sought out by hundreds of documentary producers, filmmakers, journalists, authors and reporters.

MK10ART’s extraordinary painting of Frank Parlato, publisher of Frank Report, being drawn in a chariot drawn by his new slaves, Keith Raniere and Clare Bronfman.

Most of them were seeking clarification about aspects of Keith Alan Raniere and NXIVM that they simply didn’t understand.

Others – especially those who were just assigned to cover the recently-completed trial of Raniere – were seeking background information about Raniere and NXIVM. Information that they could have obtained by doing several hours – or maybe days – of internet searching.

Federal Prisoner 57005-177

Not once during this time did I see Frank refuse to answer anyone’s questions.

Less Cooperation Among Some Victims of NXIVM
Oddly enough, there has been less cooperation among some of the victims of NXIVM.

While some like Barbara Bouchey, Susan Dones, Catherine Oxenberg, and Mark Vicente have openly shared whatever information they had about the cult’s inner-workings, others have hoarded such information as if it were gold.

Susan Dones being interviewed by Dr. Oz on the topic of Keith Raniere.

A few have even obstructed us and other journalists from getting access to information.

This type of obstructionist behavior is usually the result of someone trying to make themselves seem more important than they actually were in the takedown of NXIVM – or as a way of protecting whatever financial gain they hope to reap from future books, movies, podcasts and the like.

People who were actually involved with the NXIVM cult for many years – e.g., Barbara Bouchey, Susan Dones, Mark Vicente, etc. – have insights and perspectives that no one else has.

Mark Vicente

Yet, those are the very people who have been willing to share the most – and to help link us and other reporters to individuals who have something unique or special to add to the story of NXIVM and Raniere.

Barbara, in particular, has shared extremely helpful in explaining how certain matters were handled within the cult.

And even though she still insists that there was some good within Raniere’s “tech”, she has also been extremely helpful in explaining how that same “tech” could be misused to harm others.

For Barbara Bouchey, Keith Raniere was a special kind of boyfriend and their days in Nxivm were like Camelot.

In addition, Barbara has also been very helpful in putting us in touch with others who have their own insights regarding NXIVM and Raniere.

Meanwhile, a select few have tried to turn themselves into gateways that must be navigated in order to talk to other victims.

Oddly enough, many of these self-proclaimed “protectors” have little real experience in dealing with the NXIVM cult – and have simply inflated their real stories in order to make themselves seem more important to others.

*****

Groups like NXIVM are rarely, if ever, brought down by a single individual.

Instead, it takes a collaborative effort to expose the evil – and to destroy it.

NXIVM teaches Executive Success Programs — or at least it used to do that.

That’s why it’s important that no one ever put their own interests ahead of the collective interest of ensuring that NXIVM is destroyed forever.

Jeffrey Epstein is somehow tied into NXVM. He used the same recruiting methods…women recruiting other women…and pictures or videos for collateral. Watch and see.

I doubt that method is uncommon among sexual deviants with money.

While I appreciate your perspective, I disagree with your conclusions. I was involved with Keith Raniere in the past. I had nothing to do with NXIVM. All I did was walk away from an abusive relationship after trying to end it peacefully. My private life is just that – private. I gave whatever information I could to James Odato years ago. I gave the FBI everything I could remember when the call went out for information on KAR. If they needed my testimony on his past, I would have testified. I appreciate the work you all have done to expose Raniere’s crimes and bring him to justice. Is there more work to do – yes, but my experiences with him weren’t criminal. I had a shitty relationship with a narcissistic, manipulative, evil man – something that many people endure in life. Why should I now have reporters contacting my job to get ahold of me to fill in “background” by dragging me through a painful and humiliating remembrance of a relationship long gone from my life? Yup – that happened.

I’m sorry this man and this group have stolen so much from your life. I hope that you find peace and reparation as more of this is exposed. I applaud all you have done, but you are painting with a pretty broad brush here. Each individual involved must determine what they can do to help and how, and what they must do to heal. If I have entrusted my private story to some individuals, that is my choice, and I appreciate them keeping it private.

You can provide information without providing your name.

The FBI has my name, all the information I could provide, and the knowledge that I would testify if needed. I contribute here anonymously when I have something to add to the conversation. And details and circumstances of individual stories can identify someone as surely as a name sometimes.

“Some Assist in Efforts to Expose More of NXIVM’s Dark Secrets – Others Thwart Those Efforts”,(O’Hara).

Does anyone know who O’Hara is allegedly writing about?

It has got to be Toni Natalie. She hasn’t been around in years but acts like she is a major part of the takedown of Raniere.

I’m sorry but you when did the destruction of Nxivm become synonymous with bringing down Keith Raniere?

Nxivm may be a good or bad organization. I don’t know. I wasn’t in it. But Raniere’s actions were inappropriate and wrong and needed to be curtailed. Fine. Raniere has been stopped.

I don’t agree with all I’ve read about Nxivm. Including the “there are no ultimate victims”. That was a doctored version of “BE HARMLESS” which is a standard of most spiritual groups. The bastardization of “harmlessness” permitted (I believe) Mr. Raniere to institute the acceptance and justification of the predation of his students for selfish purposes.

The abuses that occurred in Nxivm, have also occurred in most of the churches, many political organizations with interns, business organizations.

Those organizations withstand the scandals, straighten out, and keep on keeping on.

If you try to destroy every organization that runs afoul of the public’s moral sensibilities you will find very little left of your civilization.

If Nxivm has good in it, particularly it’s desire to make a better world, tweak it, and let it continue.

I agree, good luck taking away the First Amendment rights of the NXIVM followers.

20+ years and thousands of broken lives later – there is bound to be a complicated and deeply broad bench of cooks in this NXIVM kitchen with a multitude of personal priorities.

I can’t fathom all the feelings really. But I hope there is a shared sense of camaraderie in the most recent triumph. Regardless if you left in 2009 or 2017. There was an awakening – it just sometimes takes longer to recognize the light for some.

Aside from that, I think it’s important to remember that many of the recent defectors have relied on NXIVM as their sole source of income for a dozen or more years. Re-entering the work force after 10+ years without senior-level, industry-relevant experience is damn near impossible – let alone overcoming the stigma that will be forever associated with nxvim to outsiders. It’s fair and understandable that some will need to capitalize on this moment’s be news interest.

I’m not saying it’s right but I do understand the opportunity, especially when options are scarce.

Be kind to one another. View the choices others are making with empathy. Above all else – don’t be an asshole to each other. All your experiences were real and the feelings (as complicated as they were) are VALID.

I’m rooting for each and every one of you. Especially Yolanda, Pea and Monte Blu.

Those of us who were rescued from the disgusting clutches of Raniere know who our rescuers are. Without Frank, Mark, Sarah and Moira, we would still be living in deceit and abuse. Anyone else who takes credit for our liberation is pathetically attempting to gain attention.
If they truly want to help stop the abuse, these sad people should get out of the way of the ballzy people who got us this far.

The Master Plan:

Shadowstate is working and coordinating on a plan with Acteon.

I believe that Shadowstate and Acteon are two like minded white socially conservative (social justice warrior) types.

There plan is to track down all of the women with the true mark of the devil…..

The mark is cankles!

So Allison Mack, Hillary Clinton, SoccerMom1245, Camilla Parker Bowels, Martha Stewart, and Anderson Cooper share the mark of the devil!!

About the Author

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
