Nice Guy is right. It is well worth watching. Knight gives about a 10-minute performance as Ramtha. Even answering questions asked by Merv.
She begins as herself, then assumes the role of Ramtha who speaks in a kind of olde English dialect and has sort of a Jewish accent. It takes her about a minute for Ramtha to enter her body.
Once she becomes Ramtha, she kisses Merv’s hand and calls him Master.
The time is 1985 and she makes some predictions, one of which is that the Second Coming of Christ will occur soon. She [as Ramtha] explains that Christ will not come as a person but as a higher consciousness.
A new consciousnesses
She says, “That which you call the coming of Christ that will come before the end of this your time flow, your next decade… Know you what that is, what think you that is?
“The coming of Christ is the awakening of that principle, of that divinity in all people. ‘Tis not one entity but the whole of the world, master, comes into that Christness, into that understanding that is what is meant by the prophecy.”
She also says, “This your country, you have a king that is part of this country his name is Reagan.”
She goes on to predicts that the “king” of this country, President Ronald Reagan will lead the government into a wonderful republic like Solons’ republic in Greece.
She also predicts that the California earthquakes will not happen.
She says, “That which is called an earthquake, know you what they are?… indeed you are living on the zipper. It shan’t come to pass what has been predicted for this plane.”
Knight as Ramtha kisses Merv’s hands repeatedly and she exits stage left when her time is up as Ramtha headed right toward the same door she came in from as J.Z. Knight.

Scientology – which was founded by a man the FBI classified as a “mental case” for writing them notes in the early 1950s about agents of international conspiracies trying to kill him, and is essentially based on a “space opera” conspiracy theory – also seems to have a lot of QAnon followers in its ranks.
Cults are typically wrapped up in conspiracy theories of sorts as part of their twisted way to try to explain the world and make followers think they are under attack, and also attract more than their share of people lacking critical thinking skills.

That’s interesting about Scientologists being Qanon believers. I know that Scientoligists are generally right wing, but I wasnt aware that there was a link to Qanon.
She’s not even a particularly good actor. She drops her “accent” several times in this clip, and notice how she messes up when uses the word slumber…(“what is slumber?”) Merv never asked her about slumber, he asked her if she had been asleep, so using the word slumber makes no sense.

I think it’s hilarious how JZ knight and then Ramtha pretends to be so meek and soft spoken……but NOW she/he.. are cutthroat don’t F with me! You can tell on this video that she is FAKE as hell, some of the “accent” isn’t perfected and still sounds like her. It’s so crazy to see how when she first started this act, she seems all innocent and him the cute little grandpa like man inside! Harmless, as a way to not seem so threatening. Now today, and over the years, there isn’t a hint of MEEKNESS, but RUTHLESSNESS. JZ doesn’t walk like a crippled old man, or stand like a old man, or act like a foreginer!! WTF! She took it a little too far with her playing dumb act! As an ex-member, I know that JZ/Ram never once talked like she wasn’t in charge, knowledgeable about current information, or confused about what anyone was saying! WTF! She has always talked with authority, given the “secrets and knowledge” about current information and talked with a demeaning, powerful, angry and precise using “ALL TERMS” CUSSING IN OUR TERMS AND DEGRADING IN OUR that which is TERMed!! Lol. She not only has perfected her act, but she also fooled the hell out of others using that act. It makes me sick, because the gentle innocence isn’t the same person who runs the CULT today. In the early days, her phrases were always peppered with…”as it is known…as it is termed…in your time…indeed…etc” which I believe was her version of “ummm” while reciting from memory. One of the things I noticed in the beginning was her ability to keep a constant flow of words without any umms & ahhs…and she can go on for hours and hours! She got rid of the voice and act from the Merv days, explaining it by saying rambloney is more familiar with “our” terms and language now. Although not sure why his voice/accent changed!? He’s omnipotent, however he can only speak English because she can only speak English!?!

Knight is obviously like Raniere, a fraud. The Feds should go after her for RICO fraud as well. At best Ramtha is a third rate vaudeville act performed on a TV show hosted by a second rate Johnny Carson.
Merv Griffin was considered for the Tonight Show job in 1962 but lost out to the better host Carson.
Merv went on to create TV game shows like “Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy” and lost out to Donald Trump in a bidding war for the casino company Resorts International.
As for Merv’s sexuality he called himself “pansexual.”
