Day One of Previewed Comments Section at Frank Report; will try to respond to questions

I had to reject several comments today, but I think this is going to work.

The new plan to hold comments pending review resulted in our first day of respectful comments.

There were more than 90 comments today that I approved. I trashed about 15. Happily, most of the comments advanced the concepts in the posts and provided new insights. Thank you, readers.

I did permit comments that criticized the Frank Report, myself and even Shadow State. I allowed comments critical of Shadow State since his articles appear regularly and he, therefore, falls into the category of writers.

There is a distinction, however: Criticism of Shadow can appear on his articles. Insults thrown against him on other posts are not appropriate.  Insults like calling him Shadow Perv and claiming [falsely] that he is the alleged Allison Mack stalker, Thomas Sekera, are inappropriate and won’t be published.

In short, going forward – people can feel free to post comments. You won’t be ridiculed or insulted.

Your opinion might be challenged or debated. But it will be done respectfully. It will be a safe place to comment free of the bullying that went on. The name calling has ended.

Also, starting today, I will try to answer questions and respond to comments when appropriate.

Lastly, if someone makes a reasonable comment but has to throw in an insult at the end or abuse another commenter – I may edit out the insult and post the rest of the comment – or I may trash the whole comment. If I edit out something from a post I will notify readers in the comment with the word “portion deleted”.

Let the comments flow.

I have been mulling over the comment made by Flowers for days and just have to ask if she doesn’t see the increased traffic on this blog in the spring would have direct correlation to the NXVIM story getting more press from all corners and people with an interest then look for more news and land on this blog. This blog is dedicated to all things NXVIM and satisfies people’s curiosity while also providing a place for people to test their own theories. Is she insinuating that she is the reason for increased traffic?

Puzzled,
I just noticed your comment now. Of course there would be an increase in April after Keith was arrested, but the story had been in the news long before his arrest, so I wonder how many more people found the site then just because of the arrest.

What I did notice, and which I found interesting, is that a Frank Report Twitter page was opened in March. I’ve gone thru their list of followers, and the majority seem to be Trump supporters who believe in the Qanon narrative (the Qanon story is that NXIVM is connected to the Democrats, and that Democrats are all pedophiles….blah blah ….)

So my point is that after that April these alt-right trolls did seem to find this forum (probably from the twitter page) and they started posting here, (and harassing me.) They might be connected to the group who harassed me before, or it could just be a coincidence that they were aware of some facts about me that I never posted here.
So, I don’t think its because of me, but I think that they are the likely some of the same people who I’ve dealt with since 2013.

For me, it’s a day late and a dollar short, so to speak.
I will certainly never look at you, Frank, or this site the same as I did when this year started.
What you have allowed to transpire here is absolutely reprehensible, and I presume you’ve only finally done something about it because the traffic finally took a significant drop.
I will randomly check in as I had switched to doing, anyhow, but I doubt I will ever engage again like I used to.

I bet the traffic might drop now without all the “pervy ballsucker “posts . Lol
I think the previous stats you posed showed an increase in traffic starting in April . I wonder if that was due to more people reading about NXIVM, or some other factor. As I mentioned before, I noticed the trolls seemed to find this forum around April as well.

Frank, I have a question for you. I can see you started a twitter account in March that is linked to the Frank Report articles, but I’ve never seen you mention it here or provide the link to the twitter account here. Did I just miss that?

I could never quite figure out Twitter! I’m turning into the grouchy old guy lol
I was just thinking about “the old days” and what it would have been like if there was a chat room on Frank Report !!!

What old days are those, Mitch? You could always start a private Facebook group, though personally I would not recommend that 😉…that’s how the “bad guys” got my private info before.

But Twitter is pretty easy to use, and its good for checking out the news, as everything is updated quickly.

Does anyone know the details of the lawsuit James Raniere vs.Keith Raniere? Are James (father) and Keith(son) estranged?
Just curious.
I once met James and his wife Sydney and he told me “my son is crazy.” I guess that was a prediction of what crazy Nxivm was to become

I am curious about this as well. I guess the original court filing is archived away somewhere. I always thought it odd that one family would sue another (apart from divorce), because that puts a family dispute into the public record. If I had to guess, I would speculate it was about an un-repaid loan.

However, I saw the lawsuit captioned elsewhere on this site as Keith R v James R – so I’m not sure which is correct.

I wonder what the Raniere’s divorce complaint said.

There are probably a handful of hints out there as what led to KAR’s monstrous personality disorder.

What was his Dad like? I’m a bit surprised the tabloid/gossip mags haven’t dug into KR’s past more, family, friends, college years.

I think someone will be, someday. But it’s going to take a little legwork. Also we likely have to wait until KAR is sentenced, so people are less afraid to speak out.

I feel tremendous appreciation for you Mr. Parlato. The Frank Report will now return to it’s intended ideal. A safe place to post our opinions and insights. Or simply our appreciation for another poster. In reading comments A lot if people responded that this behavior you are eliminating has become common on blogs.
Where anon may be part of the problem, I have to agree that our society has changed most especially after our last presidential election. Have we ever seen important government officials treat any president of the US with such scathing disrespect. This is what our next generation is learning is acceptable?
Let’s all try to make these changes, Nxivm posters this forum is for you to. If your still a member that’s ok. Your time has not yet come to make changes but I would like to hear what you think and feel about what you have experienced. Both good and bad.
And see you treated with respect, and to know you have options. Contact Frank in private he may be able to recommend help you would like to look into.
God bless all, the choices you make are and always should be your choices.

Anne, in the UK, the media and politically correct liberals (we tend to call them lefties) engage in a lot of Trump bashing too. However, they don’t represent the views of a vast amount of ordinary people here who are rather envious that the US has a strong leader when our Prime Minister has sold us out to the EU again with a Brexit deal that your President would rip into pieces . Our media doesn’t reflect the views of anyone outside London. I don’t know if your media is similar. There also hasn’t been anything on our TV channels about NXIVM as far as I’m aware.

You also have laws in the UK which prohibit free speech.

We’re getting closer everyday it seems with some of the proposals, statements and repercussions of something said. Even if it was said by a family member decades prior.

Freedom has a cost that I think is well worth it. Appreciating it means accepting that someone with opposing views, no matter how vile and distasteful can speak of them just as I can speak of mine.
So many nowadays want to shout down and prevent their opposition from being heard. While I understand there is no Right to be heard, no one should make that choice for others.

Scott – The government and the police would say that the laws are against hate speech. However, those laws can be used for incredibly petty things. It gets to the point that people dare not criticise anyone from a minority for any reason and the authorities are so keen to appear PC and inclusive that incidents like the Rotherham grooming scandal happen and the same thing has happened in several other places in the UK. On a lighter note, recently, a woman claimed racism because someone’s dog barked at her. No joke. Apologies to Frank for being off topic. I’ll try not to make a habit of it.

I used to have a racist dog named Fred while in college. Fred was self-taught. One afternoon I was taking a nap in our 2nd floor apartment and Fred kept barking at something. I went to the window and found Fred barking at a 10 year old black boy, pinned up against a telephone pole, and I had to go downstairs and pull Fred away. On another occasion, Fred started barking at a football player in a grassy, gathering area on campus. The football player was a defensive back, trained to chase after wide receivers wherever they go on the football field, and he started chasing Fred, who literally had his tail between his legs and attempting every evading maneuver he knew, and the football player kept up with him. It was quite hilarious. Fred never chased him again.

About the Author

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
