  • With all the new hits and comments, I am appalled at the more angry and hateful tone of many of new and even old commenters.
Not just directed at NXIVM or other commenters (as in the past) but also on unrelated aspects of society that they hate, fear, or think is conspiring against their small-minded world.

    • Good observation LaLaLad. I guess, sadly, some commenters here have nothing in their lives and troll boards looking to start dialogue with anyone to fill their lonely days. This also could be looked at as a snapshot of society and we can see how hate can take hold of a person’s heart. The hate grows and they lash out. Letting go of a viewpoint can be so difficult for people. People are also looking for community and that’s why MLM scams are so successful. People want to belong and when they are left broken and penniless by those who had built them up they are lost.

Who knows why people do the things they do and say such hateful things to one another? Some may be mentally ill while others may believe they are just involved in harmless banter.

The tone here is, at times, appalling but then the people who have truly been affected by these amoral people and those people who have been drawn to this story and feel empathy for the victims do offer insightful comments and are passing the time here waiting to see how the court proceedings play out.

        • Too true and I believe the Internet has magnified it. It has made it easier to lure people into cults and MLM schemes, easier for people to spew their hate and it feeds those people who see a conspiracy around every corner and under every rock.

  • To my knowledge, this is the 2nd highest viewed website that brings attention to the MLM scam industry, although mostly because of my excellent comments. The top spot, and the one that takes the issue head-on, is this YouTube video, which has over 14.5 million views: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6MwGeOm8iI. As I’ve said before, although NXIVM is an important MLM story, it pales in comparison to the human and financial suffering the overall MLM scam industry has caused. A brief overview of the MLM scam industry follows, and what you can do to help others not get scammed by an MLM is provide everyone you know this information and encourage them to forward it to everyone they know, etc., MLM style:

MLMs have 2 major problems, and most MLMs have at least one of these issues:

    1. The products are overpriced, which makes them almost impossible to sell to customers and results in Amway being an illegal pyramid, according to the FTC and SEC websites and previous court decisions; and

    2. The Tool Scam is hidden profit for the top level distributors only, and the vast majority of distributors operate at a net loss as a result. This is RICO fraud.

For recent examples, google “FTC” along with the following companies, one at a time: FHTM, BurnLounge, Zeek, TelexFree, Vemma, and Herbalife.

  • Congratulations, you’ve put a lot of work, heart and soul into this. Most importantly you have rescued those in need..

  • The joint intergalactic commission of statisticians of the 5th and 6th densities has determined that the entity known as “Scott Johnson”, aka “Scooter”, aka “Scotty Potty” has posted more obnoxious nonsense than any other entity.

    • Toni, I recently watched the podcast. I’m grateful for your safety and hope your able to feel safe.i know pts and it can be overcome . No more Vangaurd!

    • Good to hear from you, Toni! Thanks to Heather for the heads up on the podcast. Assuming it’s the Pink Shade with Erin Martin one?

Just finished listening. Well done, Toni! I’m sure you will even make Scott proud because you mentioned Keith’s Amway ties!

Found it interesting that Keith was already claiming to be a sprinting champ when he met you. Rumor had it that you (Toni) and Pam had a stopwatch out in some field to time his record tying run.

      • Interesting how “nutjob” started posting here only recently , and immediately began to write insulting comments directed at me without reason, like one of the typical trolls that constantly comment.

If you are really an ex NXIVM member , nutjob, why are you so hostile towards me? It’s odd, because I’ve repeatedly said I’ve never belonged to NXIVM.

        • Huh? Not sure what that means Scott. I decided to look back at the last few comment threads I’ve posted on (after Nutjob started to post) and I noticed that he/she had usually posted in reply to my comments, and always with a nasty, passive aggressive remark aimed at me. I have no idea who is using the name nutjob, but obviously they must have used another name before, and then switched names recently.

          • Flowers – you consistently call ex-members liars and take nothing as fact. Every post and every commenter isn’t a conspiracy theory in hiding. Some, post to share info. When they get attacked after sharing their knowledge, it discourages them and others from sharing. I like to hear from people with insider info and get annoyed when they are chased away from this site.

          • Scott, don’t you think people who will be called as a witness to testify against Keith, may have been told by the FBI to not discuss the case? But those who won’t be called to testify, could say whatever they want….
If “nutjob” thinks he/she will hear from anyone with insider info, they have come to the wrong place. There is no proof that any of the “true” stories posted here are true. And how in the world does asking questions “scare off” an honest person?

          • Also, I’ve never called any ex-members liars. Where do you see me say that? Prove it.
            This is,what I did say:
I said that Heidi (who is NOT an exmember and may not even be Heidi) is inconsistant in her stories, and was hostile towards me for no reason.

I said that “Just saying” ( also not an ex-member) had an illogical story.

I said that whoever is posting as ExNex is a liar who obviously found old K Kruek tweets and then pretended the Whistler references in those tweets were nefarious and suggested criminal activity. How sleazy is that?… ( considering he’s supposed to be a lawyer.)

I never said any of the actual ex-members were liars., and I’m also not the only person to point out that Heidi and ‘Just saying’ are not always logical.

          • Webster, that’s the definition for conspiracy theory, not for conspiracy.
But I never said there was any conspiracy involving NXIVM members, I said that the group who had harassed me earlier had apparently stalked me here now. As far as I know, these people didn’t belong to NXIVM.

          • “But I never said there was any conspiracy involving NXIVM members, I said that the group who had harassed me earlier had apparently stalked me here now. As far as I know, these people didn’t belong to NXIVM.”

            LOL!

          • Del, LOL to them not being NXIVM?
They are not nxivm, as far as I know…but if I find out that they were members, that would be more evidence.

        • Nutjob, This is what I’m confused about…I never once said there was any kind of conspiracy theory. Never, yet people here keep saying this.

What I said was that I believe the people who harassed me on a private facebook group a few years ago, are now writing posts here. How do you know they are not doing that, nutjob?

You have no way to know that. However, I do have proof that they have definitely stalked me on other sites (including this one.) And they love to invent fake identities and stories, so it’s not a stretch to guess they are doing the same thing again, here, especially when I see that Pea is constantly mentioning April 20th. It seems like more than a coincidence.

          • Scott, if the “conspiracy” is that these criminals have stalked me here, and are now sometimes posting as Pea, or pretending to be other ex NXIVM members , why should that affect nutjob? Most people already knew that Pea was a troll, so its not that surprising.

          • For information purposes since it seems the one with petals doesn’t know what it means.

            con·spir·a·cy the·o·ry
            noun
a belief that some covert but influential organization is responsible for a circumstance or event.
