The countdown has officially begun. Sometime in the next few days, one or more superseding indictments will be unsealed by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Eastern Division of New York – and, when that happens, some will have their lives changed forever. Given the prior statements that have been made, on the record, by Moira Kim Penza, the Assistant U.S. Attorney who is the lead prosecutor in the currently pending case against Keith Raniere and Allison Mack, it seems likely that the superseding indictment(s) will contain additional criminal charges against Raniere and Mack – and new criminal charges against one or more of the other individuals who help facilitate, finance, and/or operate the NXIVM sex-slaver cult.
Just imagine how they’re feeling right now. What type of questions are running through heads all day long – and as they lay in bed at night:
- Am I going to be one of the new ones indicted?
- If I don’t get indicted this time, will they indict me at a later date?
- What if Clare Bronfman doesn’t offer to pay for my criminal defense attorney?
- Will my family – with whom I haven’t communicated in years – be willing and able to do so (I’ve heard those New York City criminal defense attorneys will want at least a $250,000 retainer to represent anyone in this case – and that it may cost each defendant at least $1 million to go to trial)?
- Will the judge grant me bail – and, if so, where am I going to get the money that will be required for it?
- Will my parents be willing to put their home on the line so that I can stay out of prison for a few more months?
- What will I do if I’m offered a deal by the prosecutors? Worse yet, what will I do if I’m not offered a deal by the prosecutors?
- Will other members of the cult testify against me (They’ve all told me they won’t do that but how can I trust anyone who may be looking at spending the next 20-years in prison?)?
- How long can I survive in prison without going crazy: 3 years, 5 years, 10 years, 20 years? What will I look like when I get out?
- What sorts of criminal activities do I know about that may be of interest to the Feds?- Do they know who carried cash across the border from Mexico into the U.S.?
– Do they know about all the P.O. boxes we used to funnel other cash into the U.S.?
– Do they know how much cash – and other things – we smuggled into the U.S. on-board the Bronfmans’ private plane?
– Do they know what really happened to Gina Hutchinson?
– Do they know what really happened to Kristin Snyder?
– Do they know about all the law enforcement officials that we bribed?
– Do they know all about the other law enforcement officials that we compromised – and then blackmailed to do our bidding?
– Do they know about all the lies that we told in the Rick Ross case?

I come here to read about NXIVM related issues from people in the know or people who have been there. I used to look forward to reading the Frank Report and the comments left by concerned people. The past few months it’s been harder and harder to get myself to come here due to what I think are people who are distractions from the real issues. People who need to toot their own horns and let off some steam.
Personally I think these people should be band from posting the Frank Report. It is turning into the Scott Johnson’s comment section Report. I too wouldn’t be surprised at all if John Tighe was framed. NXIVM allegedly bought off a number of legal authorities in the area and at least one of its representatives (Kristin Keeffe) was granted access to a DA’s office to help in an investigation against its enemies in the past so it’s not like a precedent doesn’t exist. All it takes is one bad seed to allow someone access to a locked down computer to do what they want with it, and there is no doubt that members of NXIVM had the computer expertise to do something like this. If I was in internal investigations I would look closely at the chain of custody list and everyone on it and anyone who had access to the evidence storage.
Knowing the many enemies that John created due to his Saratoga In Decline blog – and not just in NXIVM – it just seems far too convenient that his computer was seized and child pornography was found on it, especially considering the fact that John knew about Raniere’s past history with underage girls and was so vitriolic against such behavior on the same blog where he had no reservations speaking his mind.
I’m not a believer in coincidences. Human motivations are often quite predictable. That’s why most crime cases are solvable.
Except for the fact that he pled guilty and and admitted that he had images and videos of children engaging in sexual acts on his computer that he collected and viewed, you could have a point. Tighe certainly had it right with respect to NXIVM. That makes him no less of a scumbag.

Yes it’s true that pleading guilty can mean someone is guilty. However, it’s also true that pleading guilty can be done reservedly due to a risk reward ratio that is not worth it. In other words, it could mean the he would rather take five years in prison to have a greater chance at a free life for many years after the sentence terminates than risk twenty if found guilty and possibly die in prison due to health reasons. Pleading guilty doesn’t prove without a doubt that he wasn’t framed. Also, proving that you were framed when legal authorities are compromised would be a daunting task for any lawyer. I don’t think it would be possible without access to internal investigations.

Raniere, Salinas and Betancourt. As I have said many times (speculation on MY part): Allison and Nicki were two B- actresses who realized that they would soon be too old and not “adorkable” enough to appeal to teenage audiences; they also correctly realized that only older actresses with superior chops (ie Streep and Mirren) would find any satisfactory roles in Hollywood. Most of us did what I did. We walked away, and were glad just to be free of NXIVM.
The only thing further I would add to that I know I have been grateful not to be pursued.
I stayed quiet and only talked to investigative reporters anonymously to try to keep it that way.
I am glad people have had the courage to come forward. It is the Catch 22 of it would help for even more to come forward, but some probably still won’t really feel safe until people are actually convicted.
Only issue I have with the last A&E special (we don’t know what was left on the edit floor either) is when Sarah agreed that she was the first to come out about NXIVM. She might have been the first to come out about the branding but there have been several who have come out about NXIVM long before Sarah came forward. What is the likelihood John Tigue was framed by NXIVM? It was strange to read that he pleaded guilty to possesion of child pornography after he had been reporting on Keith Raniere’s paedophilia. If it was a set up, NXIVM must of felt threatened by him. What information does he have on NXIVM and it’s members? What information does he have on the celebrities who were heavily involved? What information does he have on that Necker Island NXIVM cult summit he revealed in February 2012? He said that the attendees discussed how to move and hide money including hiding money in the Caribbean. That is criminal activity. The FBI should have this information.

John Tigne was a retired sanitation Worker for the local municipality; not too bright. Keith’s behavior sometimes attracts nut cases which is what happened here. This is why he has been sentenced to a mental hospital in northeastern Mass. Yes, he was caught with Porn on his computer and when the State Police took his computer; He remarked ” don’t tell her ( meaning his wife) everything that is on my computer. So, yes he is quality. Hope he gets the help he needs. First of all, I have no idea whether the child porn that was found on John Tighe’s computer was planted or not. Neither do you.
What I do know is that John took a plea deal that ensured he would be sent to Fort Devens prison – which is one of the Feds’ top medical facilities for prisoners (It’s definitely not a “mental hospital’; nor is it in “northeastern Mass”). Prior to being arrested, John was being treated for a life threatening health problem and had lost his insurance coverage. Since being incarcerated, he’s had numerous surgeries and other medical treatments that have literally saved his life.
Like I said, I don’t know whether John was into child porn or not. What I do know is that ass-clowns like you who spout off about things they know nothing about deserve to be publicly called out and exposed for the fools they are.
John Tighe was not a nut case or wingnut “OSCAR” and you should at least spell his name right. He loved Saratoga and did not like what he saw happening to his beloved city. His issues with the Democrats for Change and some of those members connections to NXIVM led him down a rabbit hole that he has paid dearly for. As someone has already mentioned Devens is not a mental hospital it is a medical facility that addresses both medical and mental health needs. John had diabetic neuropathy as well as cancer of his either stomach or small intestine which he needed care for.

Its easier to imagine the latter as the job of a vicious hacker or perhaps they loaded the images over time according to the imagined pattern of a pedo; But if uploaded by increment, john would have noticed? Is there evidence that would answer this?

Someone on the old SID blog used to always sign off with TICK TOCK TICK TOCK. I thought it was a neighbor or someone who had a close family member who was drawn into NXIVM or even an early ESPIAN who defected. I for one, hoped that TICK TOCK had some inner knowledge and knew something was going to go down after the 2012 TU series. Some felt TICK TOCK was like Henny Penny ( aka Chicken Little ) and this was their version of ” the sky is falling”. I never felt that way. Those bulleted points above make you realize just how deep the corruption ran, and that the TU series was not the tipping point. I think a number of things eventually came together that created the right environment for NXIVM to implode: The indictment of Frank Parlato and his dogged determination to clear his name and expose the cult, The death of Edgar Bronfman leaving the Bronfman name and any political favoritism it may have carried behind, the creation of DOS, the Death of Pam Cafritz, the elevation of Allison Mack to fill Pam’s shoes, the procuring of millenials who were not vested in ESP who were willing to testify about the crimes against them in this era of ME TOO. Plus, the defection of Sarah Edmondson and Mark Vicente and their efforts to expose NXIVM. Plus we cant forget Catherine Oxenberg’s celebrity getting the info into the right hands in her effort to save her daughter, nor Barbara Bouchey’s and Susan Dones and Toni Natalie’s continued fight against their own harassment.
In the coming days more shall be revealed

Do you not think Sarah Edmondson and Mark Vicente knew about criminal activity? Do you not think they actively participated in criminal activity. Do you not think they profited from NXIVM activity? They probably relied on the cult as their main or even exclusive source of income. Edmondson founded the Vancouver branch. What is the likelihood she knew nothing about money laundering and tax evasion? Same with Mark Vicente.
Wow…that is intense. Dramatic. The indictments have probably been worked out already by the authorities, in secret. So NXIV members who are the likely focus of those indictments have a sense of imminent doom at this moment. Like the Sword of Damocles hanging over their head.
I don’t envy those NXIVM people. They have got to be freaking out. Especially since the authorities may unseal the indictments within days. Possibly even this week? The drama will dominate network news stories too.

I’m almost swayed by the narrative of the brave little guy who took on corrupt, powerful organisations being silenced and left rotting in jail for a crime he did not commit, now fighting to clear his name.
I don’t doubt the possibility of setting people up with the planting of evidence and would like to hear Tighe’s own defence but he hasn’t anything, much less claim that the porn was planted AFAIK.

Let’s say, for the sake of argument, that he was framed:
Perhaps he couldn’t afford a lawyer who could provide the kind of forensic evidence to cast reasonable doubt on his guilt.
Perhaps NXIVM’s rumored connections within the Saratoga County and NYS law enforcement community were true. Perhaps the arresting officers were providing false testimony and Tighe knew he wouldn’t be able to fight corrupt cops, attorneys and/or judges without having the money to pay a top-notch lawyer for himself.
Maybe faced with the reality of up to 20 years in prison, Tighe made a deal and plead guilty so he would only be sentenced to 70 months.
Let’s all play Monday morning armchair lawyer, shall we? LOL
Yes I have considered all these things, hence my post. I am not prepared to do the mental gymnastics required to believe that Tighe is innocent of the charges particularly when Tighe himself or his lawyer, have not even claimed that he was a victim of a conspiracy.
I’ve searched to find anything that supports this theory, and will probably continue to do so. I don’t expect to find anything enlightening, however.
Knowing nothing about Tighe before I came across the NXIVM story, I am disappointed to learn that the only thing I agree with Tighe is his stance on NXIVM. The guy is just a bloated, vicious online troll.
He is not the victim here. 400 videos and 40,000 images were found stored on his hard drive in folders marked by month and year. He was ordered to pay restitution to 3 of his victims.
Best leave this guy out of the story. That’s all I’m trying to say, really.

The upstate law enforcement being so corrupt, I don’t know if the truth will come to light, but I truly hope so.
If they were kids, they would be sobbing, “I want my mommy.” But these are mature NXIVM adults, so it’s more like, “I want my Vanguard.”
Sometimes the waiting for the shoe to drop is worse than the actual shoe dropping.
If you NXIVM folks know the answers to these questions, you might consider trading your knowledge to the prosecutors for some extra freedom.
It’s also important to ask whether an individual can even properly respond to these questions. Allison Mack happens to be an what would appear to be an environment designed to encourage someone to flip–confined to home, limited communication, family encouraging defection, and a prospective deal with prosecutors–and nonetheless nothing has happened. Unless those indicted can think in terms of their own basic self interest, many of those questions will be utterly irrelevant to them.
