Multiple Sources: FBI probe expanding – more charges, indictments coming – Bronfman desperate, trying to buy her way out

Clare Bronfman
By Frank Parlato
Sources with knowledge about the Department of Justice [Eastern District of New York] investigation into NXIVM [AKA Bronfman-Raniere crime organization] have told Frank Report that the criminal investigation is “expanding”, is “comprehensive”, that “great resources and personnel” are involved and that sex trafficking charges are only the tip of the iceberg.
Clare Bronfman’s  private prison proposal for Keith Raniere, [via his attorneys] may be a precursor for what she [through her attorneys] may soon propose for herself.
Yes, Clare Bronfman is in the hot seat. It may be coming as quite a surprise to her. All her adult life she has been buying off the legal system to punish innocent people and escape from the consequences of her actions. To think her money cannot buy her out of an arrest or an indictment must be shaking her confidence – despite her striking stupidity.
Meantime, Raniere sits in jail, given orders 24 hours per day, caged-up like some woman who had an ethical breach, being told what to eat, instead of telling others what not to eat. Sleep when he’s told. Get up when he’s told. Go where he’s told.  And handcuffed and shackled to and from court.
I would guess he will say anything to get out of prison.  Once out, he will do anything – and Clare will pay anything – to stay out. That means, at the end of the day, if the case looks like he’s doomed, he would attempt an escape from his proposed private-mansion prison with two guards who Clare will pay – if the judge is persuaded somehow to allow him to reside there [on bail] instead of prison while he awaits trial.
Which raises the question – what if Clare Bronfman can’t pay for his private prison? What if she is charged and some or all of her US assets frozen?
Consider also, others will likely be charged. Possibly Clare’s sister, Sara Bronfman-Igtet.  It may come today, tomorrow, in a few weeks, or in a few months but it is coming.  Raniere’s attorneys already know others will be charged. They said so in their bail motion when they wrote, “the federal Government apparently does not approve of the way hundreds of women are searching for happiness, fulfillment and meaning in their lives and is now seeking to incarcerate a number of them as well as Raniere, whose ideas inspired this group.”
A Keith Raniere can be indicted. An Allison Mack can be indicted. But can a Bronfman?
Yes, the government is seeking to “incarcerate a number” of women – not for seeking happiness but for destroying other’s happiness.  It is not true that ‘he [or she] who has the most joy wins.’  Joy is fleeting, ask Raniere.
In addition to more arrests, there are more victims being uncovered by this massive investigation. I know this from direct knowledge: They are not all sex-trafficking related.
As for Clare Bronfman – the most serious question is whether she will be able to buy off her indictment.  I believe she does not think a Bronfman should be subject to the same rules, norms or conditions of common people.
Yet, but for her, this criminal cult could never have accomplished its stupendous criminal achievements. She funded one of the longest running tax evasion, bribery,  forced labor, sex trafficking, child sex rape, money laundering, smuggling, financial defrauding, coercion, blackmailing, extortion, identity theft, forgery, influence peddling, pyramid and racketeering schemes – under the guise of a self-help group with a noble mission – ever undertaken.  She did more than fund it. She was Vice President in charge of operations.  She worked and financed the criminal goals of Raniere as his true partner.
.
Will she be indicted? Is she in the USA? Is her attorney in contact with the US Attorney?  There is good reason she retained top criminal defense lawyer Dennis Burke. He seems to have taken the fall for the DOJ – when he resigned as US Attorney for Arizona to – I believe –  protect the coverup of the scandalous black ops Fast and Furious criminal enterprise conducted by federal agents and officials of the US government.
After resigning, he went into private practice. Burke carries a special cache. There are those in government who, I believe, owe him.  After resigning for getting caught lying – [tip of the iceberg] as a US Attorney at the DOJ, he was appointed as a top advisory board member for the same DOJ. This kind of appointment pays nothing directly but is a prop to give confidence to high-wealth clients who are considering retaining him. I am guessing that at certain levels of the DOJ, the FBI, the ATF, the CIA and other agencies in the intelligence community, there are those who feel they owe Burke a debt of gratitude for helping to stop further scrutiny for the murders, gun running, drug dealing, money raising and laundering of Fast and Furious by becoming a large distraction by his very public resignation.
Attorney Dennis Burke is the highest ranking government official to take the fall for the criminal Fast and Furious op. It remains to be seen if his influence can ensure that Allison Mack [and not his client, Clare Bronfman] can be the highest ranking NXIVM member to take the fall for the Bronfman-Raniere crime organization.
Whether Burke can parlay that gratitude into a once in a lifetime payday and a no bill against Bronfman is hard to say.  It is not entirely up to the EDNY. Main Justice [DOJ in Washington  DC] and Main Office IRS will have to sign off on a Bronfman indictment. That may occur or maybe it will not. Yet, because the crimes are so rampant and notorious and because Bronfman is so clearly in the middle –  for this case to go on its present trajectory – and not stop at comparatively smaller sex trafficking of several women – an indictment must include Bronfman.
Recent events suggest that a growing number of Americans believe that corruption is rampant at Main Justice DOJ and the main FBI – and that these agencies may not be the paragons of virtue they consistently profess to be.
If Bronfman walks while lesser criminals are indicted, we will have a pretty good indication of how that happened. And it isn’t justice that will save her, but money, and influence, to be sure.
Can a Bronfman be indicted? That is the question.

If they would lock Clare up I think a lot more women would come forward, she’s the one their afraid of. Gov do the right thing and give these people a chance.

This is absolutely the truth. When Clare is behind bars like Keith is, then other women who have yet to come forward will do the right thing.

If the current Judge was there for AM bail hearing, I don’t think it would of been approved.
He’s refusing to let her out of coming to all hearings.
He’s refusing to let her fly without her tracking device
He’s already said he doesn’t like the fact that she’s clear across the contry
One false move on AM’s part, I think the judge will revoke her bail and send her back to the women’s unit she was in before.
Who’d like to see that happen?

I hope they have picked up something either of Clare’s bragging about her communications with Mack or have finally realised that her parents are NXIVM members, and back to the slammer she goes.
Total b.s. for her to get away with pretending she was going to take a plea deal just to get bail.

I still think that the prosecution is game for her bail arrangement. Her parents are acting custodians and reportedly employing an exit counselor. Her arrangement may be better than in prison, but they also provide incentives for a plea deal. In prison, she would just embrace a martyr complex and receive no exit counseling.

With all due respect to Frank…

This case is too high profile and too political in nature (women being sexually enslaved in the #metoo culture) for the IRS to reject any recommendations from their CID to file charges. Ain’t gonna happen Frank. Sorry bro.

If the IRS CID team finds solid evidence and recommends charges of either tax evasion or tax fraud, it would be politically impossible for that recommendation to be rejected due to Burke’s former status with the DOJ…….since heads would roll.

Plus it’s been 10 years since the Fast and Furious scheme was over. There’s just nothing to see there anymore…..and the statute of limitations is way over. He can’t protect anybody any longer. Too much time has passed.

I just don’t see Frank’s logic. Burke ain’t gonna get any favors in a high profile case like this.

It all depends on the evidence found by the IRS CID team. If solid evidence is found then an indictment is happening. If not, then no indictment. Simple as that.

Unlike Pimp Mack, Cruella Bronfman was not stupid enough to return to the United States from Mexico after Raniere was nabbed.

Clare Bronfman may have more than one jet

In 2018 Clair Bronfman bought one jet. The FAA Registry lists a jet, N515KS, bought in 2018, that’s pretty much the same make and model as Clare’s earlier jet. It resides just north of NYC, at a small private airport, and contact information lists the same address as Clare’s accountant. The owner on record is RidgeRun LLC. There’s a small company in Minnesota with that name that has nothing to do with NXIVM, and there’s a running trail with that name in a state park not far from Halfmoon. One of the recent running events at the park featuring Ridge Run Trail: https://www.saratogastryders.org/event-2902994

And is the most challenging of the trails. The kind of challenge someone “inspired by excellence in human performance” might like. Ridge Run Trail also includes the peak’s overlook, where one can escape into the beautiful vista beyond (only mentally, of course, unless you have a jet).

I’ve watched this creepy drama unfold. If Clare goes down, and Nancy and Lauren with her, so be it. I imagine India, Nicki and a couple other DOS slaves will be indicted as well. Sara may not be indicted but her days in the lap of luxury are likely done as well. What a mess.

Sara Bronfman can live in that lovely garden spot of Libya, home of Al Qaeda in the Mahgreb.

I’m sure Al Qaeda will appreciate a half Jewish woman living in Libya.

I’m still hoping India and Nicki make a deal, They seem the least culpable and between them probably have enough insider information that testifying would be an absolute slam dunk for the prosecution.

Would make sense if they were already working it out on the sly since they are the only two major players not in hiding yet but they haven’t been picked up. Last I heard both were still in New York. Ok Lauren might not be hiding but she’s at least in Canada so buying time with red tape extradition.

What a great shock to Cruella Bronfman to learn that not everything is for sale.

Moreover, the Ladies of the NXIVM elite, who pride themselves on being “bad ass warriors”, have proven to be extremely incompetent criminals. The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight.

Recently I made the comment that what will really bring Cruella Bronfman down is the fact that she associated in the criminal enterprises of the two “ass clowns” Raniere and Mack.
Raniere’s sex harem combined with Mack’s torture of women and the use of blackmail to enslave women brought the focus of the US government on NXIVM. a criminal enterprise that has flown under the radar for 20 years.
Without the bizarre antics of Raniere and Mack Cruella’s various schemes would still be going strong.

Both Bronfmans deserve to be in prison – life sentences. I doubt that this will happen though. Their money’s reputation is such that, of itself, it’s a violent and strong weapon.

How is Nancy Salzman planning on fulfilling her commitment if anyone were dumb enough to give her the 60$K she wanted for 6 months of coaching?

Perhaps she thinks she will have a desk and dedicated telephone line with unlimited calls to continue coaching people from MDC.

Nancy Salzman is probably number 2 or 3 to be arrested, likely behind Clare and, possible, Lauren. If Michelle has any brain cells in her head, she will flip to have a chance of giving birth on the outside.

Great article Frank! I think Clare is very similar to Robert Durst, in the sense that her money will not get her out of years of criminal activity.

Moreover, the other Bronfmans have privately disowned Clare and Sara (who were the daughters of the au pair)…so, it will be difficult for Clare to use her family connections and get out if this pickle.

I think someone will flip and testify, but it will be one heck of a trial.

Why would the DOJ not sign off on an indictment? The Bronfmans have no political ties with the current DOJ and I doubt that Democrats will shed any tears for them. We can joke all that we want as Washington awash in a new “gilded age”, but I fail to see the connections required for a “get out of jail” free card. In terms of penal accommodations, I think that the best a Bronfman could hope for would be one of the pay-to-stay jails in places like California. (These are usually state or county prison with a special pay-to-stay wing, but they do accept federal prisoners if approved by the court).

I don’t know that Bronfman can pay Burke enough to waste favours to keep her out. He is much better off saving those for when he needs them himself, as I doubt his behaviour has changed much being outside the DOJ.

The largest NXIVM donations went to Republicans, but don’t let facts get in your way, Shadow! The Republican Senate Campaign Committee received $66,363 from NXIVM in 2006-2007. (Maybe talking too much time with your Shadow People has you seeing apparitions, demons, and other make-believe nonsense?)

You know that, like you, all of the cultists are Ayn Rand freaks, right? It’s weird that Trump and his followers, people like you and Keith Raniere, are such die-hard Ayn Rand fans. Because someone who is a genuine expert on Ayn Rand says Rand would have despised Trump: https://ari.aynrand.org/blog/2017/11/06/the-anti-intellectuality-of-donald-trump-why-ayn-rand-would-have-despised-a-president-trump

But Sara doesn’t mind either way about Ayn Rand. She just likes to make friends. And she’s besties with Trump! They were neighbors 2006-2014. Sara bought her Trump Tower apartment (used often by Nancy Salzman) for $6.5 million and sold it for $8.8 million. It’s on sale again, Apt. 33D, just in case you want to live close to your idol.

And how come the Bush and Obama DOJs tolerated Raniere and NXIVM for so many years?
Why did the New York State Attorneys General ,all Democrats like Schnederman and Spitzer, fail to investigate
Raniere and NXIVM?

BTW what would the Libertarian Ayn Rand have to say about Trump’s tariffs?

Maybe they don’t want to rush. The stronger the case they have, the less likely these additional defendants will get bail. I think we just have to be patient. It took a long time to indict and arrest Raniere and Mack. I would rather the DOJ have the strongest case possible against all parties. They probably did rush to get Raniere off the street due to his severe flight risk status.
