Leaked email from Clare Bronfman — Call to Action for Plugged-In Technologies

She's been skiing high wide and handsome for many a year. But the worm has turned.

The email below was leaked to me. It is undated. It appears to be from Clare Bronfman to a mailing list. Plugged-In Technologies is one of the 90 companies the US DOJ EDNY mentioned in a court filing recently, suggesting it may be under scrutiny. My guess is this email was sent sometime in either December 2014 or December 2015.

Call to Action for Plugged-In Technologies
Dear Friends,We hope you are enjoying your holiday season. As some of you may already know, a team has been working with Keith Raniere to develop a technology that will bring more reliable, potent, and private usage of the Internet, and all your mobile devices. Our focus is on creating a secure and ethical online experience, and entrepreneurial real-world communities with technology.

Keith Raniere has 16 patents and 23 patents pending protecting these innovative developments, and we are seeking to expand our team of talented technologists to launch this revolutionary product.

We want to draw on our expansive network to find driven, high-level technologists. This is an opportunity to work on a tremendous leap forward in the tech industry that will change how individuals use and relate with technology. Please refer to our website, www.pluggedin-tech.com, for a full description of the available opportunities.

Here’s some illuminating commentary about Ranierer’s patents:

Clare sought to hire a "Mobile Device Hacker"
Clare sought to hire a "Mobile Device Hacker"

Going back in time to 2016 I noticed that Clare was trying to hire a person with the job title of “Mobile Device Hacker” -http://web.archive.org/web/20160302163706/http://www.pluggedin-tech.com:80/

Snippet 1: “You need to have a depth of experienced with Android OS development and the nuances mobile device network communications (wireless, Bluetooth, cellular, USB), and you’ll be getting into the guts of the Android technology stack and make things work that may be outside the bounds of traditional application development.”

Snippet 2: “Our work is focused on implementing technology that will create safe, ethical, and entrepreneurial real-world communities around the world.”

This leads to a couple of questions about the job:

1) What is meant by a job title of “Mobile Device Hacker” and how would such a person perform work that is “safe” and “ethical”?
2) What is meant by “work that may be outside the bounds of traditional application development”?

In the real technology word, hacker is a compliment. It means someone with excellent skills.

Cracker is someone who uses those excellent skills illegally.

It’s thanks to the incessant ignorance of the media that many people are confused as to the difference between the two.

Another example of how Clare Bear and Raniere were conspiring against their “Flock” by getting them to give Raniere money voluntarily under false pretenses. They not only were looking for Techs but did a lot of fundraising to get money for development for something that didn’t exist.

If the FEDS dig into this, they will find it was just another Raniere/Bronfman/Salzman scheme.

This crew knows how to garble English so deftly and people who can’t see through it think all the wordiness is indicative of brilliance.

I’m sorry, Keith has “16 patents and 23 patents pending?” Seriously, did none of his followers think to verify this?

You can patent basically everything. One of his patents is the scarf you get when joining the organization. The question is whether he patented something useful. I was looking into what he patented and they were all as good as a solar powered flashlight….

Plugged-In Technologies was unable to prevent the FBI from reading NXIVM emails and text messages.

You do not need Plugged-In for encrypting your emails. PGP is freeware and so good, the US of A wanted to sack the developer for making it publicly available. What i love about this mail is their link to a HP, which only shows coming soon.
If I do not have anything to show, I do not pretend to have something as this makes it even sketchier.

About the Author

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
