Dr. Brandon Porter charged with illegally conducting human experiments; may lose medical license

Dr. Brandon Porter

The New York Post – certainly one of the more intrepid NXIVM news investigative outlets – has glad tidings today. Melissa Klein and Isabel Vincent for the Post wrote the story: Nxivm doctor charged with conducting human experiments

Here is my report on the topic, which provides readers with some additional details and a few speculative insights into what this is all about. I also provide herein some pointers for investigators to consider looking into. They have not been reported before and I believe these are not rabbit holes.

Dr. Brandon Porter, 44, has been charged by the New York State Office of Professional Medical Conduct (OPMC)  with illegally conducting human experiments and numerous other misdeeds as a physician. These are not criminal charges, but licensing charges. A hearing is scheduled for June 27. If the charges are proven, Dr. Porter could have his medical license revoked or suspended. In addition, there may be a criminal referral to the New York State Attorney General.

The OPMC accused Porter of moral unfitness, gross negligence, and gross incompetence.

As first reported in Frank Report, Dr. Porter showed human females, who were connected to an EEG machine, videos of murders and dismemberment of women by machetes [snuff videos]; an African American being stomped by a Nazi; a man being forced to eat a portion of his own brain; gang rape; and other items sure to startle and be revolting to NXIVM women.

Dr. Porter conducted his experiments for The Ethical Science Foundation, founded by Clare Bronfman, who also paid for the experiments.

Dr. Porter is also charged with violating state law for improperly conducting studies on obsessive compulsive disorder, Tourette’s syndrome, and monitoring brain waves of students at Nxivm intensives. As of yet, they have not brought any charges regarding Dr. Porter’s alleged involvement with Rainbow Cultural Garden, another Keith Raniere-inspired illegal operation that was funded by Sara Bronfman.

These charges – and the underlying acts that led to them – should not surprise readers of Frank Report who learned about the curious activities of Dr. Porter months ago.

The state also admonished Dr. Porter for not reporting to health officials that more than 100 people, including children, at the 2016 Vanguard Week in Silver Bay, New York, became ill with an infectious illness that produced flu-like symptoms, vomiting and diarrhea.

I, and others, suspect Keith Raniere, with possibly Dr. Porter’s help, introduced something into the food being served at the 2016 Vanguard Week as an experiment since, curiously enough, no members of the High Rank of NXIVM got ill. Neither did several slaves Raniere wanted to mentor personally in the lush Adirondack playground on the banks of Lake George.

Raniere ordered all sick individuals to remain in their rooms and not to peep out. Raniere’s orders are followed by his cult members with absolute obedience or else.

By confining most of the attendees to their quarters, Raniere was left to freely roam the premises, unfettered – and Dr. Porter was able to examine the sick cult members’ reactions during their illness and to record how they responded and their symptoms. Raniere ordered everyone in attendance to tell no one about the epidemic or else.

The state action comes eight months after the New York State Health Department refused to act on a complaint from former NXIVM member Jen Kobelt who alleged Dr. Porter had subjected her to watch the rape and dismemberment videos.

Kobelt may have been lucky that she had such a bad reaction to the videos. That’s because it has been suggested by several NXIVM insiders that Dr. Porter was using the human fright experiments to weed out women who would not make good slaves for Raniere.

Kobelt became upset and frightened by the images. Perhaps not coincidentally, Kobelt, despite being slender and very attractive – an ideal candidate for Raniere’s sexual attention – was never asked to join the DOS slave subgroup of NXIVM.

In her August 2017 complaint, Kobelt said Dr. Porter may have performed his “fright study” on as many as 100 people. But even with that additional information, the New York State Department of Health did nothing.

I believe the human fright experiment was used as a recruiting tool for potential slaves. Raniere was looking for women who would be willing to do more extreme activities – such as being branded on their pubic region with his initials after giving him blackmail worthy material.

In a September 6, 2017 letter, the state told Kobelt it would not investigate Dr. Porter, adding that “…the issues you have described are not medical misconduct.”

However, after the New York Times came out with two blockbuster stories in mid-October, exposing the cult and its bizarre practices, the state changed its mind and began to look into Dr. Porter.

Scene from the Accused shown to slender young ladies by Dr, Porter.

Apparently the publicity generated by the New York Times stories caused the agency to have an “aha moment”.

Following the Times stories, Dr. Porter was asked to resign his position at St. Peter’s Hospital in the Albany area effective immediately. Prior to that, St. Peter’s had failed to respond to at least one report about Dr. Porter’s involvement with the NXIVM sex-slaver cult that was sent directly to the hospital.

Viva Executive Success!

Dr. Porter is married to Jane Jeffries, another deep Kool-aid drinking cult member. It was reported elsewhere that Dr. Porter has fled the Albany area with the couple’s children. This is not true. Dr. Porter is in hiding at his boss’s home. Clare Bronfman, the interim leader of NXIVM, made her home at 91 Button in Waterford New York available for Dr. Porter to hide out in.

The temporary leader of NXIVM, Cruella Bronfman, has relocated to New York City to work on NXIVM leader Keith Raniere’s case. She is reportedly working with attorneys to come up with a bail package for Raniere.

Although it has not been touched on yet, it’s not just the adult women who were unwillingly subjected to human fright experiments that were let down by New York State. That’s because Dr. Porter’s children have also have been subjected to a cruel and unauthorized human experiment. This one took place in the controversial and illegal Rainbow Cultural Garden operation that was another product of Raniere’s twisted mind.

For a time, the Porters had their own children in Rainbow – and were being experimented on by Raniere and his slave and harem member, Camilla Fernandez. Meantime, as they children were downstairs being experimented on with an untested language experiment, Daniela Fernandez, Camilla’s older sister, was imprisoned upstairs for refusing to join Raniere’s harem.

Daniela was imprisoned for 18 months in a room for not joining Raniere’s sex cult.

These are not normal people.  But, then again, as Raniere’s attorney, Marc Agnifilio, asks, “What’s normal?”

Is anyone anywhere asking where these videos come from and if they show real crimes and are evidence of what may have to happened to missing people? I am so disturbed by this. I hope the police have confiscated the videos and are examining them to see if they are real and using them to try and solve the crimes and rescue people or hold the evil doers accountable/stop them from making anymore of these torture/murder films. Sometimes I am really floored by the terrible things that people allow themselves to do. I don’t think I can ever understand how someone lets themselves intentionally make people suffer like that and actually enjoys it. Thanks God I don’t understand. Honestly I hope I never understand.

Dr. Danielle ‘quack-quack’ Roberts at the Human Optimization Conference Spring 2018. This was on Alex Lubarsky’s twitter site 17/04. Twenty minutes of unalloyed shrillness.

Thank you, OWA,

Your video recommendation of the drama-queen, Danielle Roberts, expostulating on WIRING YOUR BRAIN IN A NEW DIRECTION is priceless. It is entitled “Placebo Effect: Creating Belief Systems for Miraculous Healings.” (I wonder if you can remove a branding scar from your pubic area miraculously? Keith could probably do that with a laying on of hands if he wanted to.) I do not know when the ‘good’ doctor actually did her little EXO|ESO pitch at the NAVEL EXPO, but the date on this video is March 23, 2018. The video is worth watching for the simple reason that it is an excellent example of the psycho-babble coming from a re-wired Raniereian. For example, Danielle asks, “Do you have the persistence to continue the new pattern until your BRAIN IS WIRED IN THE NEW DIRECTION?” Or, “The thought program is a thought mastery program.” Please, notice the (unconscious?) rather extended Nazi-style salute between the frames at 16:45 and 16:50 minutes of the video. I especially love one Danielle’s little aside, “Good, We’re all sane?” OK, if you say so Brander-in-Chief ( BICH)!. P.S. Danielle, your new hairstyle is gorgeous, so much better than the old straight hair. I imagine that it will look fantastic when you are doing the “Jailhouse Rock,” in your prison pajamas. You go girl – straight to jail and forget about stopping at “GO!”

I also recommend watching “Humanizing Entertainment, ” a rather intimate and telling look into the forever enchanted lives of KEITH and ALLISON, our modern-day Tristran and Isolde, who are obviously so madly in lust. To me, Keith’s most memorable bullshit.-line in this video was that “The more people can separate from being personally involved with each other, THE MORE THEY CAN PUNISH.” Oh yeah, he is the punisher! Then, Vanguard drops this very revealing stink bomb out of his rear end: “Whether it’s the MILGRAM EXPERIMENT…” Holy poop, did that ever catch my wandering attention! For any of you who may not be familiar with Stanley Milgram, he “was interested in researching how far people would go in obeying an instruction if it involved HARMING ANOTHER PERSON… he was interested in HOW EASILY ORDINARY PEOPLE COULD BE INFLUENCED IN COMMITTING ATROCITIES, for example Germans in WWII.” Keith Alan Raniere is definitely the embodiment and the personification of the DARK TETRAD. Slam-dunk!

I missed this! Thank you Larry for such a great response! Yes, I too had a moment of horror on hearing the words MILGRAM EXPERIMENT, in those weirdly purple ‘conversations’. There is another Dr. ‘quack’ Roberts video on youtube from june 2017, so roughly a year ago, in which she says pretty much the same thing, so this esoexo bilge is definitely scripted. She’s even wearing the same clothes. Is her loud toneless rant supposed to give the impression of confidence do you think? – utterly deluded, all brass neck and sharp elbows, or as Brendan Behan would say “she has a neck like a jockey’s bollocks”

The Times Union version of the story – which, as usual, was a little late – does add some new details regarding the 24 charges that Dr. Porter is facing. And that’s before they pull him in for his role in the illegal Rainbow Cultural Garden fiasco.

As Frank would say, Another Executive Success!

Much Worse Stuff From Mr. Porter

How about looking into how Mr. Porter had a hand in NXIVM’s cancer protocol when the older women got cancer and stopped them from getting traditional treatments? Or looking into the possible poisoning of these women? Mr. Porter has done much worse than just mind messing experiments I believe. He may be an accessory to murder. I hope the authorities are looking into this. Too many coincidences of how the older women Keith was involved with in his previous harem died. I feel bad for Mr. Porter’s family. He will very likely go to jail. Mr. Porter knows a lot about Keith and has some very incriminating evidence but it also incriminates himself.

Yes. Would definitely like to know more about both nxivm doctors’ involvement in the cancer protocol of those woman who died. I agree – too many coincidences.

Very curious about the 2016 illnesses of the V-week participants. Depending upon the symptoms onset, it could have been Norovirus, which is not uncommon in large gatherings. But I am intrigued by the idea of the higher-ups possibly introducing something into the food. If true, this would take things to whole new level. There was a cult in the Northwest whose members sprayed Salmonella onto salad bars in the area, but the victims were non-members of the cult. I wonder if anyone was hospitalized – then we might have a diagnosis.

Back in the early days of NXIVM, Raniere and Salzman focused a lot of their attention on recruiting high-level state officials. One of their top recruits was Dr. Antonia Novello, the head of the New York State Department of Health. She was so impressed that she actually had several members of her top staff take NXIVM courses.

Maybe this helps explain why the agency has been so fucking lax in doing anything to stop Raniere, Porter and Roberts.

Shh*t… really?!!! I never knew this. I believe S. Bronfman is attempting the same thing with education. I’m always amazed to see what look like very worthy organisations on her twitter account taking her seriously enough to encourage her with likes and so on… then I remember the size of her purse and suddenly it all begins to make sense…

https://frankreport.com/2017/10/25/former-commissioner-of-ny-department-of-health-and-others-once-praised-esp/

My friend missed the course by one level, had to do all the work while they were gone. So not only cost of the courses, but also cost of their salaries while they were gone, and others did their work, all of that came from public money, paid for by taxes. When they came back, they weren’t talking about new ways of seeing things, they talked about how you should drink 4 ounces of lukewarm water every hour.

Despite being capital of NY, Albany is generally (with many happy exceptions, and a good university, SUNY) a small town populated by small-minded people. Education is frowned upon, particularly by state workers (in stark contrast to 2 decades before when Rockefeller was governor and sought out highly educated and idealistic people to work in the state offices). In the early 2000s, the state campus went through severe layoffs and turmoil within departments. Ugly atmosphere, and very political (who you knew and what beliefs and religion you espoused were more important than quality of work or education).

The photo: yes, very dramatic. However, it’s a cut from a late 80s movie with Jodie Foster, something i suggest ppl should watch. Its a hard movie to watch but shows the pain, ups and downs of being a victim of rape. She liked one guy who took it way far, and then passed her around.

I definitely would not have been able to watch those videos. I would have asked to leave immediately, as I can’t watch any gory violence at all. I’m surprised that these types of experiments did not raise any red flags with the NY medical board.

Is this not considered unethical behaviour?

A lot of the Medical boards, Bar boards are very political. They try to protect one another and won’t necessarily go after evil doers unless public pressure is placed on them to act.

Same thing with Judicial misconduct panels. They exist more to protect judges than the public, unfortunately. When caught, nearly all Federal judges quietly resign with their full paychecks intact.

I want to thank you for all the information you dig out to make available to the public. I have been following this story now since the story of Mack being arrested. This entire case has struck me in so many ways, since finding the Frank Report 4 days ago now, I have been deep into reading all these stories.

“video of the horrific and brutal murders and dismemberment of four women by machetes; and violent film clips, including a male African American being viciously stomped by a Nazi; a conscious male being forced to eat a portion of his own brain matter; and a graphic gang rape”

“He continued to film my reaction for at least 10 minutes as I just sat there, dry heaving like I was going to puke and crying very hard.”

The only doctors who would consider Brandon Porter’s “experiments” science are Dr. Mengele and Dr. Frankenstein.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
