Daniel & Jackie Del Negro write Raniere’s judge: ‘Don’t let him out on bail!’

Head of the Society of Protectors James Del Negro

Daniel and Jackie Del Negro have written the judge in the Keith Raniere case asking the judge not to allow Keith Raniere out on bail.

These two – who have the same last name as long time NXIVM member James Del Negro – say they have had their family torn apart by Raniere and his cult.

Up until recently, James Del Negro headed the Society Of Protectors (SOP) section of NXIVM (SOP is a men’s group that teaches men that they should have multiple women while their women should be monogamous). He has also served as the front man – at least on paper – for many of Raniere’s business operations.

What the hell are you talking about “Del Negro”? That letter wasn’t from Jimmy “The Enforcer” Del Negro. It most likely was from his parents – who apparently understand that the only hope they have of getting their child back is to keep Raniere locked up in prison. But Jimmy is going to have to come clean and testify against Raniere, Salzman and the Bronfmans if he wants to avoid a similar fate.

DelNegros parents ARE senior citizens in their 70’s. So very sad to see him mixed up in this. Graduated high school with him and he was always such a good guy.

Wow. Good on Jim to come to his senses only about 1-2 years late. But still. He’s back from the dead. Congratulations Jim. Now you can help take this disgusting sociopath down as undoubtedly you know a lot of things (financial fraud, etc.) that the company was doing. Glad to see you are out. Welcome to reality.

“In my opinion, he is a sociopath” that’s a fact not opinion. He is teaching others to be sociopaths, another fact.

Jim used to be a good guy with a nice wife, many friends, and a growing small business. Not long after falling for sociopath Keith VanGrifter and Shyster Salzman, Jim lost it all. He lost his marriage, his friends, his business, and all his money. He was duped and defrauded by this organized crime group into signing his name to their businesses and doing God-Knows-What to further their criminal enterprise. I hope he will turn state’s evidence and seek recovery from NXIVM, Keith, Nancy, and the Bronfmans. I hope he finds himself again and comes out of this alright.

Interesting that victims and lawyers are not organizing and lining up to sue the Bronfman’s yet. Big pot of cash there to go after.

Absolutely true! And it will be real hard for Clare Bronfman to fight a lawsuit if and when she gets indicted.

This cult corrupts all who participate in it in some way. Even those who fight it are negatively impacted in life and dirtied by its slop.

I feel so sad every time I think about him. I still want to believe he has just really naive / transitioned into brainwashed.

Maybe I am just seeing my former friend through rose tinted lenses.

Although difficult to read letter, this describes exactly what NXSCUM is/does. I know first hand.

Yeah, the program sucks people try. Takes away their family, money, and soul.

When I was spending time with Vancouver group, they would arrange vacations and trips over holidays such as Christmas/ Boxing Day. This was done to strengthen Cult bonds, while weakening family blood ties.

Just sick.

Dear Judge and/or Clerk of the Court,

The purpose of this correspondence is to plead with the court to not allow Keith Raniere to post bond allowing him to remain on the (triects?)

We have been dealing with him and his group for 15 years. In that time we have watched him separate good families and loved ones from another.

It is hard to explain the diabolical hold he has on people.

We have no 1st hand knowledge concerning the charges against him.

We are convinced once out of custody he will continue to destroy peoples’ lives.

In my personal opinion, he is a ‘sociopath’ at the very least.

Please don’t allow him to do to other families what he has done to ours.

Yours truly, Daniel & Jackie Del Negro

About the Author

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
