Allison stayed with Smallville until the show ended after 10 seasons. There was no quitting on her part there. She may have tanked her acting career afterwards, but she didn’t quit Smallville. And a quick check on IMDb shows that she still had appearances on other TV shows afterwards.

Man I used to have a restrictive eating disorder, I’m white and blonde like Allison, a little weird in the face with those surprised eyes but generally small. I couldn’t see the changes in me during those years. Even though it’s been over for a few years, my hair is still thin. I see it in her photos. I see it in myself now. I would not say she overexercised during the time by running 5 miles a day. I guess that is still healthy if you have a healthy diet to back it up. It becomes a problem when you are on a starvation diet with low protein. It can make sense to lose some weight and a lot of people could profit from it… But she has to eat.
Btw there have been long time studies that listed BMI vs average life expectancy and 24 to 25ish was the most healthy. They used the health checks Army recruits have to do from several western countries and had millions of test subjects, though most male. In the meanwhile, my impression is that you put down a percentage of the bond as collateral. Think about a mortgage. If you stop paying the mortgage, the bank will take your house because it serves as collateral for the loan. Allison’s property and her mom’s property and her retirement account are likely equal to a small portion of the bond, and they’ll lose it all if Allison doesn’t show up in court in May.

Usually if a person wants to make their bond, they have to have 10% of the bail, which would be $500,000, so her parents pledged their home in CA and AM put up her retirement fund–makes sense to me how that could add up to 500 thousand dollars. I just hope AM’s time in CA and away from the cult’s influence will be her saving grace and she can start to do the right thing.

The bond note is paid in full, generally at 10%. So the parents or whomever likely had to pay $500,000 in order, while putting up an additional $5,000,000 in collateral.

Her trial doesn’t start on May 3. The clock starts counting towards her RIGHT to a speedy trial on May 3. Her lawyers and the Federal prosecutors have decided to forestall that right as they bargain on a likely plea deal. This makes a ton of sense for the FBI, as they need to test the veracity of her claims against the evidence that they have already collected, and the evidence she is providing.
She is not the one who decided to forestall her right to a speedy trial. The FBI likely required it as part of the plea negotiations in order to ensure that she is telling the truth.

My guess is that she will eventually plead guilty to Conspiracy to Commit Sex Trafficking (a crime that doesn’t carry a mandatory minimum) and Conspiracy to Commit Forced Labor (also no mandatory minimum).
