The FBI has raided Nancy Salzman’s home on Oregon Trail in suburban Albany, NY.
A search warrant was issued and several federal agents armed and donning bullet proof vests have entered the home of the NXIVM leader and co-founder known as Prefect.
Salzman, 63, a registered nurse, and hypnotist, is second in command of the NXIVM cult.
The cult’s leader, Keith Raniere, was arrested yesterday.
Part of the search will be for cash and other documents and videos believed to be stored in her large basement safe. Raniere was arrested yon Sunday in Mexico and transferred to the USA on charges including sex trafficking and forced labor a/k/a slavery.
It was reported by former members of NXIVM that as much as $2 million in smuggled money was stored in her safe at one point in time, a fact first reported here. According to sources, Raniere instructed his Mexican followers to smuggle cash in from Mexico – and stored it in the safe in Salzman’s house.

Tick, tock…Tick, tock…You’ll notice that there are no New York State police involved in this raid. Nor anyone from the Saratoga County DA’s Office. The feds obviously know that both of those entities have dirty hands when it comes to NXIVM. And don’t even get me started on P’Diddy Soares here in Albany County. Not to mention our local U.S. Attorney’s Office, which has turned a blind eye towards NXIVM for at least 15 years. Doubt that the feds will take any of those governmental types down but you never know.

The first time Nancy Salzman met Keith Raniere she told her friend that he was a sociopath (and that friend shared the story with Becca Friedman). Nancy Salzman also likes to control and be center stage (like so many of the cultists it seems), and she got lots of that over her years with the cult, along with a very nice standard of living. And all she had to give up was her integrity, instincts, and daughters.

I suspect not. Lauren Salzman has her sickly-looking cat to tend to and Michelle Salzman & Ben Myers are getting married on May 26, 2018. They’ll devote first to the creatures they love more than the mother who steered them to a psychopath. On the plus side, there are many charges still to come and maybe they’ll get to spend time together in court and/or prison. Perhaps they can share some quality mother-daughter time together then 🙂
