Rainbow nannies must speak “fluidly”?

Lincoln Quote on Slavery August 1, 1858: On Slavery As I would not be a slave, so I would not be a master. This expresses my idea of democracy. Whatever differs from this, to the extent of the difference, is not democracy.

Recently Frank Report posted a help wanted ad for Rainbow Cultural Garden nannies. One of the requirements for a nanny is that she must be able to speak her native language “fluidly.”

One of our readers wrote a simple one line comment:

“Stupid announcement from Rainbow that kids can learn to speak ‘fluidly’ instead of fluently!!”

This is an interesting choice of words. Whether it was accidental, or deliberate, remains to be seen.

Talking is a sequence of sounds, syllables, words, phrases, and sentences together.

“Fluency” is getting words out smoothly. It is an ability to utter meaningful sounds, syllables, words, phrases.  Fluency is continuous meaningful speech.

But is “fluency” the same as “fluidity”. Some might say it is merely semantics.

Fluent
– easy and graceful in shape
– expressing yourself readily, clearly, effectively

fluid
– characteristic of a fluid; capable of flowing and easily changing shape
– subject to change; variable
– affording change (especially in social status)
– in cash or easily convertible to cash

You can be fluent in a language, but can you be fluid in it? Fluency includes being able to express with ease.

Fluidity then could be how smoothly you speak.

Fluency is your competency with the language.

Fluidity might be how smoothly you deliver it – even if everything you say is word salad that means nothing.

One thing for sure, when you hear someone talking to you, your understanding them has nothing to do with fluidity, only fluency/competency.

Fluency

Abe Lincoln was a man who Keith Raniere once remarked would be one who no one would consider objecting to were his initials to appear branded on a woman’s pubic area – the marking of her as a slave despite the fact that he perhaps inadvertently was the man credited with freeing the American slaves.  Whether his initials should appear on women’s pubic region in lieu of say some more fluid speaker is open to debate. But he is widely regarded as a fluent speaker.

Here is an example:

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

Fluidity
He speaks very fluidly.

On the other hand, the man who chose to have his own initials branded on women – to mark them as his slaves – Keith ‘The Vanguard” Raniere – is a man who is decidedly fluid in speech. His words shape shift with great skill as he tosses them about and then adds dressing to his word salad.

Here is an example of his fluidity:

Consciousness consists of superpositions of possibilities of a flowering of the mythic. We exist as pulses. You and I, seekers of integration.  But we can no longer afford to live with disintegrations. Where there is yearning, guidance cannot thrive. You must take a stand against pain. It is a sign of things to come. Reality has always been beaming with those whose essences are opened by faith. Humankind has nothing to lose.  For a kinder, more sustainable, ethical world. With unique tools that facilitate internally and externally to realize the potential. Our conversations with others led to an ennobling of hyper consciousness to create a more noble civilization. But peace requires exploration. To go along the journey is to become one with it. The universe is beaming with electromagnetic forces.

Interesting that my question about the name Vanguard and an alt-right Nazi link seemed to set off a very different discussion.
Meanwhile “Vanguard American” is one of the NeoNazi groups listed as having an involvement in mining crypto currancy…

I still think Keith name choice is fishy, considering his Nazi obsession.

The only thing I think Laura is wrong about is that the red pill BS does not really predate Alt-right BS, because red pill reference is from the movie The Matrix. And I think alt-right is really Nazi philosophy. …been around a very long time.

The Matrix happens to be my favorite movie. “You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”
―Morpheus, to Neo- taking the red pill means you become unplugged from the matrix and see it for what it really it that you are a slave. It equates to freedom and knowledge and reality. Freedom of choice, expression etc.

The SubReddit r/TheRedPill on Reddit appropriated the term from the movie and was created in 2012 by a now resigned NH state lawmaker- I am by no mean’s an expert on the men’s rights movement but In men’s rights parlance, “red pillers” realize that men, not women, are oppressed and that men need to “wake up” to a reality in which feminism has ruined their lives.

To quote “In r/TheRedPill’s instance, the “dark truths” that the subreddit’s subscribers have swallowed are these: feminism is toxic, sexism is fake, men have it harder than women, and everything the media teaches about relationships is a lie. In reality (the argument goes) women don’t want soft-centred men/chocolates; they want to be dominated, controlled, and manipulated. The most extreme Red Pillers even believe that women want to be raped.”

However, I digress as Frank’s blog is not the place to discuss men’s vs women’s rights. And you know what they say about arguing on the internet. I was only making an observation from what I have read and heard about Society of Protectors. I likened the material taught in those modules to the men’s red pill movement. Clearly, based on those leaked sound bites, many of Keith’s ideas are similar to those of Red Pillers. My comment was for us to ponder: did Keith come up with SOP ideas on his own? or did he hijack them also. We all know ESP is a mishmash of Scientology, Ayn Randian Objectivism and MLM strategy, has Keith ever had one original idea of his own?

Just my two cents

PS. I never felt SOS was trolling me and even if they were, I don’t feed trolls 🙂

Thanks Laura
When looking at NEO Nazi philosophy it’s obvious the Neo nazis have also have adopted this red pill Matrix analogy…but in this case these nazis/Alt- right followers believe that “whites” are oppressed by “non-whites” and that whites need to wake up and “Follow the white rabbit”…and that some great awakening is upon us..blah blah blah.
Right now these groups are using the Internet to sell this message (often hiding that they are really racists.)

I asked the question about Vanguard because I noticed that the NEO Nazi group Vanguard America was operating in New York State, and I wondered if Keith really adopted that title because he loved that video game so much, or because he embraced the neo Nazi philosophy.

I have no idea how long Vanguard America has been in existence , or exactly how long Keith has been known as Vanguard.

Mention of White Supremacy groups touched a nerve? I think Laura knows what she is talking about. I think she’s right in seeing some link between the alt-right wing philosophy and SOP philosophy. Why so touchy SOS?

I’m not touchy about what Laura stated about SOP and the alt-right movement and/or red-pill specifically. In fact, I think she’s correct and has provided a service for Frank Report and its readers on the local happenings of NXIVM and company. It’s quite obvious that there are a lot of misogynistic, or at least patronizing unequal elements to SOP and how Vanguard views women. I just think these issues of feminism, gender roles, men’s rights, etc., are nuanced and most people don’t know what they’re talking about when it comes to fundamentally justifying them, often seeing the differences between the sexes as a sign of weakness or strength in one or the other as a matter of comparison (or other stupid ideas previously hinted at), when they are simply matters of complementation. That is what triggered my somewhat emotional response and nothing at all in the explicit content of what Laura posted.

SOS, I think you are triggered by even mildly feminist critiques of male violence. I would also like to point out that your constant criticism of people knowing nothing of ‘metaphysics and philosophy’ is churlish. I have a BA in Philosophy, an MA in ENG. Lit. and am currently working toward a PHD in… Philosophy, whilst working full-time as a teacher – and guess what? Im still as basically stupid and clumsy as I was prior to all this education! my dearest friend, raised in Jamaica is practically illiterate yet she is more capable then me in too many ways to mention, much quicker on the uptake, the sharpest wits. In fact, like all the philosophers I know, including some Post-doctorals, I am conscious of becoming more ignorant of the world and what wags it, the deeper my understanding of epistemology and metaphysics gets. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing SOS, either learn enough to face your own ignorance, or just drop the unhelpful posturing. What, clearly and simply stated, is your argument?

“SOS, I think you are triggered by even mildly feminist critiques of male violence.”

How would you know what I’m triggered by? I haven’t made any comments with respect to “feminist critiques of male violence” at all.

Nice try though.

” I would also like to point out that your constant criticism of people knowing nothing of ‘metaphysics and philosophy’ is churlish.”

What “constant” criticism?

Yeah sure.

Everyone can be fooled. Not everyone is fooled so often they can be considered a fool.

I’m not the one making foolish generalized claims about me based off the some posts I’ve made here. Unless you too ‘know’ me from elsewhere in what I have posted and have followed me here.

Please point out to me where I have been “triggered by even mildly feminist critiques of male violence” here (or even elsewhere)? I’ve never even discussed such. Like many other terms that conceptualize social movement categories, feminism is a broad one that even feminists can’t even seem to agree upon as to what it entails.

Also, tell me where have I been “constant” in my criticism of people not knowing anything about metaphysics and philosophy? The fact of the matter is, most people *do not* know about these things. Metaphysics is hard, and the various disciplines of philosophy of which metaphysics is the ground for are as well to a greater or lesser degree. I never made the claim that I am more than an armchair philosopher and knew what I was talking about over others. I simply stated I argue for my point of view.

I’m sorry your projection took you into some trajectory I never even delved into.

Follow you?!! You mean you do this mansplaining bout feminism and so forth, in other places?!!
SOS you are a butthurt fool – and btw, metaphysics is as hard as you wish to make it, as my granda used to say “a two-year-old can see as far through a brick wall as Professor Phila-shala, from the University of What-and-whatnot” sliante!

LOL @ “mansplaining”. I’ve heard of this negative term but I don’t even know what that pejorative means. Like I said, please point out where I have done the things you said I have. If not, I’ll just presume you’re talking out your ass.

Also, no to ‘metaphysics is not as hard as I would make it out to be’. People have been gifted various aptitudes in life, whether physical, mental, or otherwise. Metaphysics is hard “in general”. Just like the math behind quantum physics is hard “in general”. That is why people get paid more or less for doing certain things. This idea that anyone can do anything if you just believe you can is the nonsense that these cults rely on to scam you out of your money.

Vanguard never was and never could be a NY state champion or whatever in the 100 yard dash and he will never run sub 10 second 100 yard dash. And neither will I. Sorry.

Frank, I believe your description of fluidity is very accurate. I especially liked the “flowering of the mystic” line.

I have a few thoughts on the real reason “Vanguard” started this Rainbow garden idea. In my opinion Keith really has no interest in other cultures or races at all, and one of the purposes of Rainbow Gardens (besides ripping off people by making false claims about this program)is to make it appear as though Vanguard is really not a racist.

However, when I consider the name he has chosen for himself, “Vanguard “, I start to think Keith may actually be aligned with a White Supremacist group called “Vanguard America “.

Or maybe his chosen name is just a coincidence.

No. The term vanguard means at the forefront of something, or a leader of some movement. It’s just a grandiose title that reveals his narcissism. It is also ironic since the guy used to just hide out in Albany and rarely ever go anywhere. When was he ever at the forefront of anything other than fooling people into believing that he is something that he is not, and scamming them out of their money?

That could be the reason he chose it, Van Douche. I just began to question the name now because I’ve finally found the link to the group that has harassed me, and they are a white supremacist group. When I did a little research I realized that Vanguard America is the name of one of these WS groups. So maybe there is a connection. Or maybe it’s just a coincidence.

It is much simpler than that. Keith loved video games, he was a gamer. He reportedly took the title after the 1981 Video game VANGUARD.

However, SOP and it’s misogynistic beliefs are akin to the men’s RED Pill movement which does have many alt-right adherents. The Red Pill movement predates the Alt-right. It is unknown if Keith ripped off the ideas from the RED PILL movement or if he is actually a Vanguard in his belief system on women and their roles.

Red pill, blue pill, feminism, equality, women working and being unmarried (while fucking around of course) is a sign of female empowerment, while women being married, raising kids and being a home maker being a sign of the opposite, blah, blah, fucking blah.

Most people don’t have a clue about metaphysics or philosophy and don’t know WTF they’re talking about.

Your ideas and language are grandpa-old.

Word salad got you speaking stupid?

“Stalking is ugly, scary, and illegal.”

LOL. So why do you do it then?

Sorry. This “microsecond of levity” made me forget who I’m ‘trolling, conversing, or sticking my middle finger at’.

“You talking ugly is why there won’t be a third reply”

That’s rich coming from a person who obviously “internet” knows me enough to troll me by calling me “MF crazy” and tells me to seek professional help.

Maybe I do need the latter. But it would be more for my middle of the night insomnia than what you’re insinuating, and it certainly won’t come from a business facade that hides a sex cult. There’s nothing “professional” about that.

“Your ideas and language are grandpa-old. Get off the internets, Grandpa.”

Ah. (Moral) relativism. The logically self-defeating philosophical position. Like I said, most people don’t know WTF they’re talking about. Thanks for proving it and adding yourself to the list.

“SOS could use some professional help” and “Hahaha! Thank you, Mr. SOS” was none other than Keith Raniere, aka the VanFraud.

About the Author

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
