Is she still in? Kristin Kreuk remains Facebook friends with Clare Bronfman

Kristin Kreuk plays a brave lawyer on the Canadian taxpayer funded TV show Burden of Truth. Her character risks her career to protect young women.

Thanks to a reader who uses the moniker ‘Nope’  and writes:

It is a known fact that cults like NXIVM tell you to hide your involvement and/or lie about it. Kristin Kreuk was in NXIVM.

She has been named as a coach and took courses for years. She was seen at Acapella Innovations and Vanguard Week. She has never denied that she is still in it.

For all anyone knows, she could still be in it.

Like Allison Mack and Nicki Clyne, she is still Facebook [under the name Kristin Laura] friends with Clare Bronfman who continues to financially support the cult while neither Mark Vicente, Sarah Edmondson, or Mark Hildreth are. One has to wonder why she remains a friend of Clare’s if she is so against NXIVM, DOS, Vanguard and whatever else the cult teaches and promotes.

Clare Bronfman’s Facebook page shows she is friends with Kristin Laura [Kreuk]. So who is fooling who? If Kristin Kreuk is friends with the vicious financier of Keith Raniere, one should safely assume she is not estranged from the cult or Raniere.

“The hottest place in Hell is reserved for those who remain neutral in times of great moral conflict”. – Martin Luther King Jr.

Kristin Kreuk plays tough fighting lawyer unafraid of confronting the truth….

Does this look like someone who is still in?

If however Kristin is dealing with this privately is good enough for Sarah, then why isn’t it good enough for you? How do you have the right to say that you know better than Sarah how Kristin should deal with this?

Kristin mentioned on Twitter not to long ago when she was running a kickstarter for her project that she is not savvy with social media and was locked out of either Facebook or Instagram. Not everyone feels it important or worth the time to unfriend people from their past.

Again, this is nothing but guilt by association. Kristin has been out at the latest since 2012 shortly after the James Odato TU article in the same year that revealed Raniere’s sexual misconduct with teens which for her nearly serendipitously coincided with her obtaining the lead role for “Beauty and the Beast”. As it has been stated numerous times, cults hide behind a business facade in layers like an onion. People exist within it at different levels and thus, so does their knowledge of its inner workings. Why should we presume the default position is that she is lying or hiding anything? She had a past professional relationship in a class participation and coaching capacity that terminated years ago and a minor social one with some of its members several years before DOS was ever formed. She could have maintained a friendly relationship with them after she moved on. She had other friends outside of the cult, family and other people who cared and looked out for her that made sure she didn’t get deeply involved. She has never been part of the inner core. She never “walked” with Keith. She never bedded him. She never dealt with him except on a superficial level. The only reason she keeps being slinged through the mud is in order to garner internet hits. I think this site has probably mentioned her name more than Allison or Nicki and they are still in it shilling for their master and acting like a prostitution ring for him. They should be humiliated not Kristin.

Scarrom, stop making assumptions. You don’t know the full truth. It’s one thing to say that she terminated her relationship years ago but she was apart of the organization for 7 to 8 years and supposedly left in 2013, but the organization was branded a cult in 2007??
Something doesn’t make sense to me. If she did leave when things were getting bad, why didn’t she speak out publicly about what was happening?? She might have saved numerous others from the trauma they experienced.

It looks like Catherine Oxenberg is also Clare’s friend. That is weird.

It is strange that people who have spoken out against NXIVM or those who were once in it but supposedly left (I also see Souki is still friends too) due to DOS and other allegations are still connected in such a way.

Maybe Ms. Kreuk doesn’t use Facebook anymore and it is an old account. That is possible. It appears her account is very private and this is not surprising due to her celebrity status, so you can only see if she is connected to others through their list of friends if they allow it, but not through her own.

About the Author

Frank Parlato is an investigative journalist.

His work has been cited in hundreds of news outlets, like The New York Times, The Daily Mail, VICE News, CBS News, Fox News, New York Post, New York Daily News, Oxygen, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, The Sun, The Times of London, CBS Inside Edition, among many others in all five continents.

His work to expose and take down NXIVM is featured in books like “Captive” by Catherine Oxenberg, “Scarred” by Sarah Edmonson, “The Program” by Toni Natalie, and “NXIVM. La Secta Que Sedujo al Poder en México” by Juan Alberto Vasquez.

Parlato has been prominently featured on HBO’s docuseries “The Vow” and was the lead investigator and coordinating producer for Investigation Discovery’s “The Lost Women of NXIVM.” Parlato was also credited in the Starz docuseries "Seduced" for saving 'slave' women from being branded and escaping the sex-slave cult known as DOS.

Additionally, Parlato’s coverage of the group OneTaste, starting in 2018, helped spark an FBI investigation, which led to indictments of two of its leaders in 2023.

Parlato appeared on the Nancy Grace Show, Beyond the Headlines with Gretchen Carlson, Dr. Oz, American Greed, Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where Parlato conducted the first-ever interview with Keith Raniere after his arrest. This was ironic, as many credit Parlato as one of the primary architects of his arrest and the cratering of the cult he founded.

Parlato is a consulting producer and appears in TNT's The Heiress and the Sex Cult, which premiered on May 22, 2022. Most recently, he consulted and appeared on Tubi's "Branded and Brainwashed: Inside NXIVM," which aired January, 2023.
